Z10 unlock screen freeze problem OS 10.2.1

When i open up my phone and try to enter my password the screen freezes. I updated to 10.2.1 and pretty much the only thing i did was switch my password to picture password and a couple days later this problem happened. I can swipe up on the screen and it shows me the picture password but i cant move it its just frozen. When i do a battery remove reset it will let me into the phone but i cant open any apps or read any messages, it lets me into the hub but i cant open anything i also cant access the hub tabs, although it will let me swipe and look at all of my apps. Its almost like there is a hardcore amount of processing going on in the background and its just bogged down! the worst part is now that im in the phone and i go and press the top button to lock the phone the screen freezes again when i try to get back in! very frustrating I have all of my contacts and emails that are unaccessible now! I am wondering maybe this is like a bug or something that other people are experiencing with the new OS or there is like some simple fix. Otherwise the OS seems stable and has alot of cool new features. Thanks in advance for any help

I have done a hard reset, took out the battery restarted it and it lets me into the phone, but then i get another problem: I cant open any apps or go into one part of the hub, I can see the unopened messages( ie title line and who its from) but i cannot open them or open the menu in the hub, although i can swipe through the apps but can only look at them (not open them). I have also tried soft reset, restart and just hitting the power button a bunch of time

i have a lumia 620 and i update it through the phone settings OTA, after restart the screen remains freeze at the start lockscreen nothing works exept side buttons.. and thats not all before 620 i had a 520 wich is a **bleep** piece, same problems with screen
A honest question to nokia : Guys what sort of "error" is that ? What's wrong with you guys ? I switched from iphone 4 wich worked perfectly fine in 3 years after tons of updates..to this lumia 620, I NEVER EVER GONNA BUY ANOTHER NOKIA PRODUCT

When you say 'software update', are you referring to Lumia Black? What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? Have you tried to reboot the Lumia 620 by pressing and holding the volume down and power keys until it vibrates and restarts?
If the screen works after rebooting, try to verify if the software is fully updated. If it's the Lumia Black software that you just downloaded, check if it shows up under Settings > Extras + Info. Try also to check if all system apps are updated. You can scan the app codes shown at this link: Nokia Windows Phone 8 App Updates.
By the way, if you still have your Lumia 520 and had the issue with it after a software update as well, you may try the same troubleshooting steps given above. We'd appreciate it if you'll update us with the outcome.

Screen freezing problem!

when i star to play a game (it is not happen evrytime) the screen is freezs and also the system is locked ! couse i have no restart button i have to shut down the system by turniing the psu button off! then when i restart the system ,just before loading windows , one the screen there is lots of colors ! whats that? why the system is locked while i play game? is it memory or video memory problem? my old cpu was p4 2.4 (533 fsb) and also there was the same problem! so i dont think it is a psu power problem!

as i said before because the same problem occured with my old cpu which was P4 2.4 i dont think this is the psu faulty!
i runned memtest86 for twice in first running there was 7 pass and 1 error(which occured after 3th pass)! and in seccond running there was no errorr, 8 passes?

also i want to add that which is interesting the problem is not occures evrytime ! sometimes there is no freezing or locking when i play the same games ! and also i can play SW galaxies and underground2 with no problem !

HT5457 ipad unlock screen freezes since updating ios

Since updating to IOS6 on my 3rd gen iPad, every other time I power on the "unlock" slider bar freezes, shuts down and when I press the "hard" power button on again it's unfrozen and I can again slide to unlock. This is frustrating. Anyone have any insight or have this same problem since updating?

(A) Reset iPad

IPad mini home screen freeze problem

I have a problem with my ipad mini. Sometimes when I close my apps with the four-finger gesture it just freezes during the transition and doesn't respond completely, even when I press and hold the power to turn off. But the home button works for Siri but she doesn't do much, she can't open apps or turn my ipad off. I can also take screen shots but my screen remains frozen on that transition. It eventually runs bettery flat and turns off automatically and when I charge it and switch it on, it works normally. It's happened about 3 times now and I'm not sure if its a hardware or software problem. I'm on iOS 7.0.4

Shaky screen freeze problem

It starts with a little jitter and shaky screen with everthing starting to blur...Then the screen starts to darken a bit and sometimes a vertical and plaid lines appear over the entire screen...Then it freezes and a box appears that says I must restart my computer....I will restart and sometimes immediately and sometimes it takes a few minutes when the above happens again...I can never run more than a few minutes before I get the jitter and shakes and freeze...I tried booting off the install disk and run a hardware test but before the test completes I freeze. Anyone recognize this? Thanks...

Battery screen freeze problem

Hello, I'm using blackberry 8700c. The screen just shows battery with red cross line image. Even though I pressed a power button or tried to reset with alt+cap+del, the false screen is still there. Is there anyone would have any suggestion for this problem?

Try taking the battery out for 1 minute then putting it back in to see if the device reboots (may take 1-3 mins)

White screen freeze problem

Hi,
I recently had some problems with my macbookpro 13inch
When my external monitor is connected to my macbookpro it will sometimes after a while suddenly switch to a white screen (macbook itself + external monitor) after this i can't do anything else but reboot my laptop and loose all of my progress i had made on some projects.
a different problem is that on websites it sometimes just randomly starts selecting text and i can do nothing about it.
does anyone know what to do with these problems? a little help would be usefull.
i hope this thread is in the right place i'm new here, didn't find a more appropriate folder.

Indeed, at Channels, alpha is ticked.
However the sub-menu is in grey or inactive, inaccessible mode, so I can't change it to RGB... can't think why it is inactive.
I'm certain I didn't have this problem a couple of days ago and am also certain that I didn't go to that part of the View menu.
So, I guess I must have tripped another choice elsewhere. Inadvertently.
I've gone through other projects and the problem is the same.
Any other answers?

Help! iPod Nano Screen Freeze Problem!

I purchased my iPod Nano 4GB about a month and a half ago. A couple of minutes ago when I plugged it into my iMac the screen just froze.
I've tried plugging it back in, turning it off, and everything. Nothing works! The screen stays lighted with one of my songs paused on the screen, even though the light is supposed to turn off in five seconds.

I just found the solution to the problem!
Connect the iPod to a computer. Switch the "Hold" button to the right, and then back to the left.
Next, press and hold the "Menu" and Center buttons at the same time for six seconds.
This should reset the iPod.
It cured my frozen screen.
Thanks for everyone's help! I think I'm going to buy the extended Apple warranty now, just in case.

Ipad2 screen freeze problem

Ipad2: When I turn on ipad, there is a window appear it said, "not enough storage on icoud. Please click 'cancel' or 'setting' " but when i touch on it, nothing happen. It freeze! I can't do anything. Also cannot turn off ipad. Do you have the solution?

my computer with the components is described above.
Previously it was working well. A few days ago, I have installed some windows updates and updated to the latest bios through the msi live update software. After that, the computer has the problem that the display suddenly suspends and I have to restart it through the hardware reset.
Then I reinstalled the OS, I found that with the windows VGA driver dated 2010, it works fine with the transparent theme disabled. But when I try to install the latest driver( no matter from amd or windows update), it will cause the sudden screen freeze problem.
I cannot remember which version it was before I upgrade the bios. I tried to clear the CMOS and it does not help.
Any idea ?

I think there is something wrong with the software of the motherboard. the os went to black screen even when i am using the integrated graphics only with win7 64bit. the os works well before i install the dedicated vga driver downloaded from msi official website. after i installed the vga driver, the screen went to black after the windows start screen.
moreover, i think the fresh os installation does not clear all the previous memories. after i changed the device installation settings to never install driver from win update, every time i reinstall the os the setting remained unchanged. I thought the default setting was always install from win update.

How can I fix problem of Screen freezing in Fullscreen view display.

Click Vie , Full Screen. Have multiple tabs open. Screen freezes. Prompting does not drop the tabs back down to switch pages etc. Happens randomly, several times a day, since upgrade to Firefix 9. Prior to that I never had an issue with the Full screen feature and used it ALL the time. Please help.I do not want to lose this feature!!!

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.
*Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

My iPad2 is frozen at slide to unlock screen, every few minutes the apple appears in the middle of the screen and couple of minutes later it will go back on freeze to the slide to unlock screen . I have tried all tricks even the restoration through iTunes which I was never able to complete because of the apple screen; iTunes thinks I am resetting my iPad and the restoration get aborted.
Please help, I can't even turn it off.

Force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times.
