Z2 Tablet LTE - 2 questions?!

basically I bought a Z2 LTE Tablet 2nd hand from my local cash converters, will this be under warranty if something breaks?
and: I have android L on my device, 5.0.2 but according to your site:
Latest available software: 23.1.A.1.28
there's a new update out but I'm still using:
23.1.A.0.690
but I don't see that? help?

If it was new then just browsing you could see a day or more but if you watch youtube etc then less than a day or occasional video us then you could see a day but this depends on if Stamina mode is enabled and the battery health and as for charging it may take from almost 0% to 100% around 3 hours but this is a guess on my part - My time is based on phones I have

  • Include the Model # of your Slate tablet in your question!

With the debut of many new tablets from HP, there are now varying models of "Slates" with different specifications.
For example, we now have the HP 7 1800, Slate 7 28xx/46xx, Slate 7 Plus 42xx, Slate 7 HD, and the Slate 7 Extreme 44xx!
The Slate 8 Pro, Slate 10 HD, and Slate 21 have also arrived.
These devices have different options, and some have different reset procedures.
BE SURE when you make a post in this section that you include the Model number of your device.  If you are unsure of the model you possess, the information can be found here:

  • HP tx2000z tablet SSD support question

Anyone know how to get an HP tx2000z to see a intel 520 series SSD?

I understand you need to use your Intel 520 SSD, but it's not seen by the tx notebook.
Is it detected in BIOS or is it not seen by the Windows installation disk?
If the old disk is still working, which it looks like it is, you could try the solution in this thread.  Cloning the HDD should function for this as it is the workaround for when Windows doesn't recognize the drive but BIOS does.
You could try this method, but it would require both drives to be accessible at the same time.

  • Captivate 7, PhoneGap Builder on Android and iOS tablets

    Hello all,
I apologize if some of these questions are basic but searching the forums and online aren't turning up any answers I can discern. My company has decided to move into the mobile market for our E-Learning content, more specifically we want our customers to be able to use our content on tablet devices. I'm creating content with Adobe Captivate 7 using HTML5 animations. I have been able to publish my project as HTML5 and then use the PhoneGap Build tool to add the HTML5 animations to the project. However, I have no experience in app development and I'm running into a roadblock when trying to publish as Android and iOS compatible apps. I'm able to add the .wgz file to the android tablet but I have no idea how to run it or make it work. We just want our projects to play on Android and iOS tablets. My questions are thus:
    - Is publishing our modules in App form the only way to accomplish this?
    - When trying to publish to Android/iOS I am asked for a "Package". What does this mean? I've watched the following tutorial: Package the HTML5 content for devices using Adobe Captivate 7 App Packager - YouTube but it doesn't go into detail as to what he package is.
    - From what I understand Android and iOS apps need certificates and signatures. Are these required for our members to be able to download our modules and run them on their tablets? Can someone direct me to a source for me to learn about and apply for these credentials?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
    - Nick

Just to clear up my third question, I'm not asking whether our customers will need a set of these credentials to access our content, I'm asking if its required I get these credentials to publish the content.

  • PS Video missing in Z4 LTE German FW?

Hi! As an owner of the Xperia Z4 Tablet LTE in germany i´m currently missing the PS Video App or my available videos within the movies app, like on my Xperia Z3. Ist this currently a limitation of that fw? Please, bring us the PS Video App!

I am not expert in these, but please check out the following things and see whether it would solve your issue. (All these changes can be easily rolled back in case I'm wrong :). So make note of what you do)
As per your httpd.conf, you have chosen an automatic configuration of Apache by OWCI installer itself. What it does is create an imageserver.conf file in a separate directory and these settings will be included in your httpd.conf as you can see in the first line: Include "C:/bea/alui/plumtreeconf/".
If you check the imageserver.conf in that location, you would find a line like: Alias /imageserver/ "C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/". This aliases the original path "C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/" to /imageserver"
To confirm whether this is done right, check the following:
    1. Acces 'http://<server ip / server name / localhost >/' from your browser
This should display the Apache home page (as per your httpd.conf, it uses the default port 80; so no port number required)
    2. Access 'http://<server ip>/imageserver/' from your browser
This should display the directory structure (if its not disabled) inside your 'C:/bea/alui/ptimages/imageserver/' folder. Also confirm that all the subfolders are accessible.
    3. If all the above is right, it means that your imageserver settings are right. Please check your portalconfig.xml for the correct settings: For example, <setting name="HTTPPort"> should be 7001 in your case. If its something else, change it and restart Weblogic for the settings to take effect.
    Hope this helps.

  • Can I connect an external Optical drive to Omni 10

I am thinking to buy an Omni 10 tab. I want to confirm thad does it support external Optical Drives via USB OTG.
I have found from other threads on HP Support that it supports External HDD bt I am not sure about External ODD.
I asume that External ODD Requires more power than External HDD.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

@ Ritaban: The micro-USB port on an Omni 10 is capable of supplying only a limited amount of power to operate attached devices (500 mA maximum). Most USB devices which contain motors (hard drives, scanners, optical drives) require substantially more sustained power than an Omni tablet can deliver. (for example, HP-branded portable DVD drives require 2 Amps — that's 4x what an Omni can deliver.)
However, there is a straightforward solution to attaching a wide variety of high-power USB peripherals to an Omni tablet, if they are connected via a Powered USB Hub. Although the Omni micro-USB port limits data transfers to USB 2.0 speeds, I recommend employing a USB 3.0 hub, because they typically are bundled with higher-output power supplies than their USB 2.0 counterparts.
Most low-power USB devices — keyboard, mouse, flash stick, card reader — can usually be connected directly to an Omni tablet, via a micro-usb adapter cable, and won't require any supplemental operating power. However, if you intend to operate an Omni tablet for sustained periods with any USB devices attached, time between charges will be substantially reduced, so attach the supplied charger as well, whenever possible ...
I hope to see you back here at some point, to tell us about how-much you're enjoying your new Omni 10 tablet! Your questions are welcome as well...
    Enjoy!

  • Voice dialer installed unsolicitedly after 4.2.2 to 4.3 upgrade

It is about Xperia Z Tablet LTE with Sony original firmware on it.
Upgrade from 4.2.2 to 4.3 has been conducted.
Upon the upgrade the user realized presense of new app, the voice dialer.
It was definitely not installed before the upgrade.
The tablet is a data-only device. Classical voice calls are not supported.
If voice calls than only via packet based connections.
So user wanders how the dialer can help on Tablet.
If it can help while dialing on when VoIP-ing there is no possibility to say the dialer
what a VoIP solution is in use, where installed and where it is to be found.

It cannot be used to span an image across two displays, or to show different images on each display.
For independent displays you need to use two separate outputs from the Windtop lll. The way you are doing is only going to be cloned display as you have discovered.

  • Location of ITunes Playlists on hard drive

I have ITunes currently on my desktop PC at home, but am trying to download it to my Surface Pro 3 (running Windows 8.1) to use when we travel.  I successfully downloaded it to added all the music to the tablet, BUT NOT THE individual playlists I have created.  The only thing I can think of is that the Playlists must be stored on the hard drive of the computer where ITunes runs, and NOT on some ITunes cloud.  I am thinking that, if I can find where the Playlists are stored on my home PC's hard drive, I can copy them to a flash drive, then download them to the tablet.  This question has been asked several times in the past.  BUT, when I follow the pathway mentioned in those responses, I come to files that look to be the individual albums I have added to ITunes, and NOT the Playlists I have created from those added albums.  Am I thinking about this wrong?  OR, if Playlists ARE stored on each individual computer, does anyone know the pathway to find them?  I am running Windows 7 on my home PC where I am trying to find the Playlist files.

Playlists are stored, along with the locations of all media in the library, ratings, links to artwork downloaded from the Store, etc. in the iTunes database - the iTunes Library.itl file that is, by default, stored in C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes.  If you want to replicate your library across multiple computers you need to copy this folder and all its contents - not just the media.  See turingtest2's user tip on Make a split library portable and the official guidance on How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support.

  • Anti-virus software for HP Strem 8 model 5901

I recently purchased an HP Stream 8 tablet 5901.  It has Windows 8.1 on it.  I would like to install free anti-virus software on it, but there are so many "out there" that I'm not sure which one is best for this model of HP tablet.  Accordingly, I'm looking for a recommendation as to which one would be a good fit for this tablet.
    This question was solved.

Since all of your content is cloud storage based, a seperate antivirus  product is not really needed. Windows 8.1 has the built in Windows Defender.

  • Is there an Android driver for DeskJet e3520

I have a Samsung Tablet that I would like to print to an HP DeskJet e3520 printer.  It appears that there is no driver for such an application, despite the fact that HP has an Android Tablet.
    This question was solved.
    View Solution.

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!
There are no printer "drivers" to be installed per se on Android devices.  They need an app that can transfer the file, usually wirelessly to a similarly capable printer.
HP offers the ePrint program (free in the Play Store).  Since your printer is ePrint-capable you can print two ways:
    1. Register the printer with HPconnected.com, and receive the email address you created for it.  Now you can email files as attachments to the printer (if you have it connected to your Wifi network at home!)
    2. Using the built-in "share" function in Adroid, you can "share" a file and direct it to ePrint.
Note:  The ePrint app must be activated first, with a code you request from HP.  Open the app to activate it.
Note2:  The built-in "Print" function in Samsung tablets will only work if you have a wifi-enabled Samsung printer.  This is the way Samsung designed it.
I'm going to move this post to the ePrint section where printing from Samsung tablets has been discussed many times.

Hello, can i use the UCH-10 Quick Carger 2.0 for the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet LTE ? And is the charger faster than the normal charger?Or is Sony planning to sell a special Quick charger for the Xperia Z4 Tablet?

    Hi,
The UCH10 is a charger for devices that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 standard (which Xperia Z4 Tablet does). So yes, it will work and also charge your Tablet faster.
Note that you should always use the UCB11 cable which is included with the charger at purchase.
