Z3 Message preview in lock screen

I want to be able to view my text messages in the lock screen, I do not have the option for preview message in the settings. Is it possible?

Hi,
I've found some archived threads on this subject, but with no real answers on them.
iOS's "Messages" app allows you to choose wether to show (or not) the contents of a received message on a lockscreen notification.
How can I confiure that in skype? I'm just finding an option to disable lock screen notifications altogether which is far from useful.

For instance, when I receive an SMS I get a notification message in my lock screen. After that, if I unlock my phone, without reviewing/opening the iMessage app, and then I lock it again, is there any way to keep my SMS notification in the lock screen?

U can create a message say "Test" in message pool of Type Info. u can use this message for displaying info messages as shown below.

Unable to unlock screen when i receive message notification in locked screen

Hi,
I am facing a software issue in IOS7 in iPhone5.
Whenever i receive Message Notification in locked screen mode, i am unable to slide & unlock the scrren.
I can open control centre, but cannot touch anything. I can open Notification, but again of no use.
Every time this happens and i have to power-off and restart my mobile.
Any solutions from anybody????

The first troubleshooting steps I would recommend in this situation would be restarting and if the issue continues, resetting the iPhone.

Turn off email preview on lock screen not working

In Settings > Notifications > Mail I have Show on Lock Screen OFF and Show Previews OFF for all of my email accounts. Yet I'm still getting email notifications WITH previews of the email content on my Lock Screen in iOS 8.1.3. I tried turning the switch on and off and restarting my iPad Air 2 without affecting this issue.
I could turn Push off and go Manual, but I'd like to have Push on and be notified that an email has come in just without the Preview showing on my Lock Screen.

Calendar, E-mail or other messages show on Lock Screen (iSO 5.0)

All notifications I have only popup and show in the notification center. However, they dont stick in the Lock screen and keep showing in the center for as long as the event duration.
How can the notifications of e-mails, calendar or other message show on the lock screen? I think it is more easy for all of us to check all the stuff on the lock screen.
Also, for the notifications center, only can show the event of the following 24 hours????? I think it is not enough, at least give us a chance to change by us.....
P.S. Can the Wifi and 3G turn on more easily? like we can turn on/off at the notifications center??? ( just a suggestion) XD

Go to Settings > Notifications > Choose your app (E.g. Messages)
And there's options.
1. You can choose whether or not you'd like it to show up on the notification center
2. Alert style: No alerts, Banners (notification center), and Alerts (which is that pop-up in the middle you normally get)
3. Option to "View in Lock Screen"
And I don't think there's a shortcut for Wifi/3G... even though, I'd really like one. It's really troublesome having to go to Settings all the time!

Sliding message notification on lock screen opens new conversation

When a single one of my contacts sends me an iMessage, the notification on the lock screen slides open to create a new message with that contact (in green instead of blue) rather than displaying the iMessage thread.
I need to "cancel" the new message and return to the list of messages to view the new message from that contact. This only happens with one contact and started after he visited the United States for a few days; the problem continued when he returned to Canada.
I've restarted and reset my phone. It is only happening on the iPhone; iMessages are opening normally on the iPad.

Try double tapping the home button to bring up the multi-tasking list. Find the Messages app and then swipe upwards on the thumbnail to close it completely. Then try the phone reset again by holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. Let's see if this will correct the problem. The next step in troubleshooting is to restore your device from a backup. But either this or the reset network settings that I sent you before should correct this.

iPhone now is able to show you messages received even though the screen is locked. This is time efficient. But I do not want to see messages on the locked screen from people who are not in my contacts list. I tried going to settings>notifications>messages> but only saw view in lock screen for all messages. Is there a way to see messages on the locked screen from people only in my contact list? Which adaptor? What kind of LCD?
Normally, all you have to do is attach the appropriate cable to your laptop, connect it to your other monitor/screen, and make sure the monitor is powered, turned on, and has the correct input (if it has multiple inputs). For example, a monitor might have DVI and VGA, and an "input switcher" to select which one you want.

Change font Size for Lock Screen Message

In system preferences Security & Privacy you are able to set a lock message for the lock screen. Is there a way to change the Font Size or even the color of the message in Mavericks?

I was able to set the font size for all the text on the envelope by pressing the Set button for the font. The size is on the right side of the dialog box. If it is not working for you, try choosing another font, and then going back to the one you want.

My phone won't show notifications for text messages on my lock screen or my home screen, even thought both are turned on under the settings. Once I go into the messaging app, they will show up as new but not anywhere else. I get notifications for everything else except text messages.

Messages should work with the email address that you use for your Apple ID. You have to be signed into that email address in order for any other email address that you have added to work.
You should add your iPhone number to your Apple ID on the iPad, and then select that as the contact address at which you can be reached and all of the messages between the phone and the iPad will sync again.

Phone number missing on iPad or iPod touch
If your phone number isn't listed on an iPod touch or iPad, follow these steps:
Update to the latest version of iOS.
