Z30 BB Link Software will no longer connects via Wifi

My BBZ30 no longer connects wirelessly to the BB Link softwre, but it used to. It connects via USB okay. The Z30 also connects perfectly with my wifi router. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

About three days ago the ability to connect came and went and the connection never lasted more than 10-15 minutes; it has not been able to connect since last night. I do not think it's my wifi router as non-mac lap top has no issues. I have seem many similar questions posted.

Reboot your router by removing all power from it for about 15 seconds. Also, if your router still has its default SSID (such as LINKSYS, DLINK, NETGEAR, etc) change the SSID to something unique. Note that all other devices on your network will have to be reconnected if you change the name, but if the name is still the default that is most likely your problem.
If the SSID is not the default then the reboot should fix it.

There is a one year limited hardware warranty with all iPhones.
You can check your warranty by going to supportprofile.apple.com.
Try to restore the iphone as new without restoring from a backup. If that doesn't work, you're going to need a repair.
And if it's out of warranty, you will have to pay for it.

Apple phone support had me completely erase and set my phone up again as new to restart bluetooth pairing, then restore again through iCloud. Worked last night but same problem today. It also will no longer connect to my wireless headset in my car. Of course I'm now 5 days over my 1 year warranty as well. Any ideas?

Delete the pairing from both devices then pair them again.

Updated to iOS 5.0.1 and now my 4s will no longer connect to wifi. iOS 5.0 worked perfectly. Now the phone tries to connect to wifi but fails every time and the battery drains faster than water from an unstopped sink. My guess is that the battery drain is due to the phone trying to connect to wifi. I have done all the usual things. My phone is 4 ft from my router (and it worked perfectly under iOS 5.0). I have restored the phone on iTunes with no change. I would love to go back to iOS 5.0.

Just checked my wife's iPhone 4. Did an over the air update to 5.0.1 and apparently that killed the wifi on that phone as well. My iPad 1 and iPod Touch works fine.

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with wi-fi on your device. Obviously we want your device to have a smooth transition when getting updates. There have been no known issues with this since the update was released. Normally in these situation we suggest doing a hard reset on the device so the update can fully integrate with the device. These steps should help http://vz.to/1dJ9CFH and as long as your information is backed up on either google, backup assistant, or SD card you should have no problem retaining your phone information. Let us know how this works.

Apple TV will no longer connect to wifi

This may be a silly question, but I figured I'd ask anyways. My building for the last year has had an unlocked wifi that we've been using, in the last month or so it has become password protected. My iPhone will still connect to it, but my Apple TV will no longer do the same. Is there any way around this as I don't know what the password is.

I have an original iPhone updated to 3.1.2 recently. Since then I have had problems with it connecting to my wifi networks both at work and at home with no other network problems to speak of. It was connecting on and off until finally, it will not connect at all. I have tried to manually connect to my networks and it prompts that it cannot scan for wireless networks. Please help apple!

First try this:
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
Re-enter your wifi info, see if things work now. If not, proceed:
Standard troubleshooting steps in the following order:
1. Reset: Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the apple logo, then release(ignore the slide to power off). If no change, proceed:
2. Restore your phone in itunes from your most recent backup. While this will restore a fresh OS, it will also restore the problem/problems if part of your backup. If no change, proceed:
3. Restore your phone as a "new" device in itunes & re-sync your itunes content. You will lose all saved data doing this.
If no change after doing the above, you most likely have a hardware issue.

Muvo TX FM will no longer connect via

My Muvo TX FM was hooked up to my PC via USB and it froze and didn't transfer files to the PC. I removed it and it still plays fine standalone but will not light up or be recognized by a USB port. Have tried 3 different PC's under Win XP and they do not recognize anything is attached. For some reason Knowledge Base article SID 4794 on how to restore does not include any Muvo except the Muvo2 and the method given for this player did not work. I have also tried hooking up to USB while holding down the on/off/play button, scroller button and both together, nothing. All files fromn the CD are loaded.
Emailed customer support and received a form reply telling me to do all the things I had done from the knowledge base already and then to repond to that email if it still didn't work. Did that Tuesday and no reply as yet. Totally inadequate service for a company of this reputation and size for what should be a simple matter.

Oh yeah I totally agree. Inadequate support staff. I have gotten all those same emails you did telling me to try things I'd told them I'd already tried. Its a bunch of canned responses. Maybe monkees run it. They sent a line to rate how helpful they were. I let them know pretty much what you said: it was shocking and crappy that a company that size and selling things that are not cheap that break after warrantee ends...its not right. Go in and send your own rating. I have a MuVo 2 Fm- just went DEAD. Won't power on, nothing. At least you still have sound.

when i turn my Iphone4 on it connects for about 10 seconds... then goes to using 3G.

As suggested in another discussion area, (AirPort), I reset the AEBS to factory defaults. On the TV, I went to >Settings>General>Network>Configure Wireless>Wireless Networks. I could then see the generic "Apple Network xxxxx" on the TV. From my MacBookPro, I verified that I could connect to the TV by launching iTunes and noting that the TV was now visible in the "Devices" menu. Went back to the AEBS and ran through the "Setup" routine. I did NOT use the "Previous Settings" but instead, saved the old settings profile, created a new wireless network and new settings profile and enabled WPA2 Personal encryption. I then went back to the TV and went through the "Settings" routine again (as noted above). This time, after entering my WPA2 password, the TV connected to the network and problem was solved. the problem is that just updated the itunes on the computer and now the ipod won't connect because apparently the itunes on the ipod is not up to date but the iod is telling me that is is up to date, so i can't do a software update.
