Z30 save sent emails to MS outlook

I have a new Z30. My previous BB 9800 would automatically send any emails sent from my phone to my outlook email account.
I can't find the same function on the Z30. Is this possible? How?

The function is not on the phone or handset itself. But rather in your email server settings. According to what type email server you have in use, IMAP, Active sync etc will sync sent messages to your server. It is not immediate and can sometimes take a few hours for that sync in that direction.

How do I save sent emails on my web server using Mail with IMAP?

I have email through a web hosting company setup as IMAP through Apple Mail. In preferences, I have the box checked to save sent emails on the server, however, when I send emails they are stored in Sent Messages folder on my Mac and not on my web server. Also, when I send emails on my iPhone they are stored in the regular Sent folder for my email under Mailboxes.
How can I get all my sent emails stored on my web server?

In Mail, select the mailbox you want to use for sent emails, then go the 'Mailbox' menu and choose 'use this mailbox for' and click 'sent'. The same goes for your iPhone. In settings, go to the advanced settings of the outgoing email server. There you can choose which mailbox you want to use for storing your drafts, sent items, ...

Firefox can't seem to save sent emails in the "sent" box

Have sent two emails today - neither will get saved in the sent box and I get an error message saying:-
"There was an error saving the message to Drafts. Retry?"
But I wasn't trying to save the email to "drafts" - I don not know if the actual email has been sent.
Could this be related to the fact that today I changed my Virus Protection from BullGuard to Kaspersky? Can't find anything on K's control panel affecting emails!

log in. Look for your name at the top right. Press the '''Gear''' next to
your name, and select '''Options.''' On the right side under
'''Preventing junk email,''' select '''Filters and reporting.''' From the

Now and then, look at your Junk folder in case something turns up
that you want. You can always choose to add or remove e-addresses
any time you want.

I can't seem to find how to save sent emails on my hard drive

I've created a folder on a partition, but when I go to account settings to save copies there, it only shows a trash bin.

You're trying to do two things at once here.
Thunderbird saves its messages in its own message store. It doesn't use arbitrary folders on the HDD. If that's where you want messages, outside of Thunderbird, you'll need to explicitly export them. This add-on:

may be useful in doing this.
However, if you wish to move your message store (and much else) to a different location, look at moving the Thunderbird profile.

How to keep track of emails btn Blackberry & Outlook???

Hi,
I'm considering buying a Blackberry Curve (Sprint). My hangup thus far is that I want to have all of my sent emails in my Outlook on my home computer. My solution thus far has been to use GoToMyPC so that I can connect to my home PC from any computer and take care of my emails. Also, I work mostly from home, so this isn't a huge problem in terms of convenience and efficiency.
Most people tell me that they CC themselves when they send an important email from their Blackberry. This is how they keep track of important emails sent from their Blackberry. IS THERE ANOTHER WAY? A MORE RELIABLE WAY? IS THERE A WAY TO HAVE ALL EMAILS SYNC'D WITH OUTLOOK WHEN (THEORETICALLY) SYNCING MY BLACKBERRY WITH MY HOME COMPUTER? IF NOT, WHAT IS THE BEST WAY?

I have two (2) EMails addresses; on is my blackberry address, and the other is my Outlook. I mostly give out my Outlook address so I could have it on my PC at home, and when Isync it is there,. Or, in the field if I inadvertantly delete a message, I know it will still be on my PC at Home. I think your friend is correct. If she has the Blackberry
Enterprise System through her IT Dept. at work. I have the BIS (Blackberry Internet Service).

Does the mail program on IMAC save sent mail in the sent box?

I recently got an IMAC and began using the OS-X mail program. AFter sending an email, i looked for it in the "sent folder" and did not see anything. Does the program save sent emails in that folder?

It is supposed to.
Try rebuilding the mailbox. This can take awhile if you have a lot of mail.

It is nowhere to be found, it happens with very small emails also, they generally get to the sender then sometimes materialise in my sent box after a few days.
I'm on fibre and unlimited allowances, I forwarded an email I had received this morning and it hung with the progress bar for like 30/40 seconds then indicated with sound it had sent, it's nowhere in my drafts or sent, i sent it again and it performed instantly with the second copy in my sent folder. No sign at all of first mail? its just an irritation I'm always worried it didn't send.

How to sync "sent emails?"

I use bellsouth.net as my email account. My iphone 4 will not sync the "sent emails" from Microsoft Outlook. When I spoke with someone from Apple's support line he said that it was because I had a pop/smtp email and that I would have to change my email account to a newer one to be able to have my sent emails synced. Anyone have a solution to the problem?

The solution to the problem is as you were already provided.
You need an Exchange or IMAP account, which is designed for this. All server stored mailboxes with an Exchange or IMAP account are available automatically with each email client used to access the account along with all server stored mailboxes kept synchronized with the server with each email client used to access the account.
A POP account is from the early dark ages of email account access with an email client on a computer when the overwhelming majority had access to a single computer only - before there were laptops and long before there were any portable cell phones much less smart phones.

For this sort of thing, I actually store the email data in a custom table and then use that to create and send the actual emails.
My table structure would be something like:

Then, a loop through these where the EMAIL_SENT date is null, would allow me to construct the emails using something like:

Outlook 2010 not saving Sent emails in Sent Items Folder

This problem does not exist on this forum. Using Outlook 2010 (V 14.0.7106.5001 (64-bit) on Windows 7 64-bit with three accounts: 1 account is Gmail and 2 accounts are IMAP. The IMAP accounts inexplicably stopped saving Sent emails. The
Gmail account still saves the Sent emails.
Tried already:
1. Changing the Sent Items setting from Save on folder on computer to Save on server and then changed back to the way it was, which is correct.
2. Created a new profile and entered the email settings. Still no sent mails being saved.
3. Ran Outlook repair. No luck.
Not sure where to go with this next. Never have run into a problem like this before.

Please make sure you have the emails sent to the recipients successfully, if not, the emails may be saved to other folders if you have the following setting:
File tab -> Options -> Mail -> If you checked
Automatically save items that have not been sent after this many minutes,
Save to this folder, you may have your emails stored in the selected folder if the emails are not sent successfully.
Please visit the Webmail site, could you find the sent items there?
Try Reset View, then try to search for the sent emails by keywords in Advanced Find, can you find the emails?
Kindly check the following settings:
File tab -> Options -> Mail
-> under Save messages, make sure you have checked Save copies of messages in the Sent Items folder

Mail doesn't save sent mail on one of my email accounts.....

Mail doesn't save sent mail on one of my email accounts. I have several accounts, but on one of them it just doesn't save any mail I send. Is there a hidden setting I've missed somewhere? I did delete the account and then reset it, but it took out all of my emails to that address so I'm loathe to do that again!

I'm lucky enough to have two Macs running OS X 10.9 next to each other, both using the same network, and sharing a common Exchange mail server. My corporate machine (an first gen' Aluminium iMac) has both Outlook and Mail installed. My personal machine (a 13" MacBook Air) has only Mail installed.
Neither install of Mail is guarenteed to write sent messages to the Exchange Sent folder (it might happen, it might not). Both write perfectly to other common mail servers (e.g. GMail). Outlook writes perfectly to the Exchange server, but generally functions less effectively as a mail client than Apple Mail.
The failure to write to the Exchange server only happened after the upgrade.
It's quite frustrating.

IMAP sent emails & drafts not syncing - MS Outlook 2007

Hello, I am having issues syncing the sent items from desktop outlook 2007 to my passport. I have been trying this figure this out for the past 3 days and hoping someone here can be of some assiastance. If using an SMTP relay for out going emails on an IMAP account, the Passport wont keep a copy that you can save this is true with Outlook as well if this is a personal email account, i would suggest using Outlook.com to pull your emails from this account so you can use Active Sync and get the Outlook.com connector for outlook 2007 with the new email account. then setup Passport with Active sync. you wont miss any messages since it will pull from old account and everything will sync nice with out the need of other software or cables

Go to: Apple > System Preferences > Universal Access and in the Seeing tab make sure that the Display Enhance contrast: is set to Normal.
Alternatly, try holding the ⌃⌥⌘ (control command alt) keys and then pressing the , (comma) key a few times.

I just sent an email to to 50 people and would like to save those email addresses as a list in Thunderbird.
How do I do that?
And how do I save an address List in Thunderbird in an Excel spreadsheet? (I can do the reverse -- copy a column from Excel into a New List and it will create a List.)
I am involved in a nonprofit and these issues are very important in terms of managing email mailings, etc.

A Mailing List is a sub list of an address book
An address book can have more than one Mailing List..
Any contact in an address book which has a valid email address, can be placed in a Mailing List.

Then in the header of an email you sent where it says TO and lists the contacts.
click on one of those email address/contact name and from the drop down selection choose:
'SAve recipients addresses' > 'as list(all)'
A pop up appears with all the names listed
make sure you have selected the correct address book under which the list will appear.
give the list a name
click on OK
You should then see a sub list under the selected address book in 'Address Book'.
You can save any address book.
Select the address book
Tools > Export
choose where to save
Give filename
Save as type 'comma separated .csv
click on Save,
This csv file can be opened by Excel
