Z30 wont play online video?

Hi there. I just got a Z30 yesterday as my first black berry since I made the switch to IPhone, and I haven't been able to play one video online from YouTube, Facebook etc on it yet. It keeps saying media error: this video is loading very slowly, it may not be possible to play it with the current network connection. When I know I have a fine connection, even connected to wife. Any ideas as to why? I'm really hoping I don't end up regretting the decision to switch back

In all seriousness though I would check that your firewall settings are allowing the connection.
When you browse normal pages do the video adverts show up?

Recently my MacBook Pro has been very slow and has now decided not to play videos on E.g Youtube. I thought it was just the internet playing up, but going to use PhotoBooth the camera screen is all pink and green pixels?? Overall my mac is very slow and doesnt play video/photobooth. Help please!!!

I am not able to play online videos in Adobe Flash CS3/ CS4. Reinstalled, changed computer, the same. But I could play just a month ago. Any idea what could have happened to my Adobe Flash CS3/ computer or any other source please?

Clearing the cache didn't work, but removing the Youtube cookie and restarting firefox did. I can now switch to Hi-def again

Looking to get a data plan for the sole purpose of playing online video games

I live in the mountains of Pine Valley, CA and the seclusion is becoming intolerable. I'm looking to get a data plan with Verizon to play online video games, namely Diablo 3 or failing that due to latency, then Civilization 5. Can anyone give me pointers on if this would work and what plan I could get? Currently, I have a plan with Boost Mobile which uses Sprint cell phone towers. I tested my internet connection with speedtest.net and received a ping as low as 140 and as high as 1000, but I'm hoping the 1000 is just due to reception issues that can be fixed with a better antenna. The 140 ping is a little high too but I'm hoping this will be better on the Verizon network since I think their cellphone towers are closer. The closest landmark to me is the Golden Acorn Casino at 1800 Golden Acorn Way Campo, CA 91906. If anyone could tell me the distance from Verizon's cell tower to the casino and Sprint's and could estimate a ping value based on that, I would really appreciate it.
I like Verizon's data plan for 10gb but I'm confused on device connectivity. Is this the data plan plus whatever router device I hook it up to? I would also need some sort of antenna and a router, wireless or wired. Can anyone give me pointers on how to find these? An estimation on Ping and bandwith speed and also on peak hours in my area would be nice too. Thanks to anyone that can help me with this! Oh, and while I don't think my area has coverage for 4g, though I'm pretty sure there is 3g, would I possibly get 4g if I had a strong enough antenna?

You're thinking of Share Everything data only plans. Where you pay $20 for the mi-fi and then pay extra on the data pending how much you want. Share Everything with a mi-fi and 10 GB would be $80 a month when you can get Homefusion for $60 for the same 10 GB. An considering the antenna is more power and outside you're a lot more likely to get reception with Homefusion. In either case it should be noted you'll need to pass a credit check and sign a two year contract.

FF wont play certain videos in websites

FF wont play certain video formats
I have FF "4.4.10" but when browsing some websites it will not play the video, instead displays messages: 'Plugins are req'd to display media on this page',
'FLASH OR HTML5 browser req for video playback' !!!! yet they play perfectly in Chrome no messing.
This happens on both a WinXP (FF v16) and a Win7 laptop.

I read FLASH is highly discredited, so dont want to install it.
I thought FF was supposed to play HTLM5 videos 'out of the box' without need of 'Addons' ?

Just installed the latest Version of Firefox and it wont play any videos or games? Help, so tired and frustrated with this web browser.

I just installed the newest version of Firefox version30. It wont play videos on youtube but i figured out what to do to fix that (change to "never activate" on Shockwave Flash add-on in plugins).
But if i leave that setting on then the game that i try to play on Facebook tells me turn on flash and when i do i still get a blank screen on FB. What do i need to do?
Im sure theres a simple answer. Ive tried at least 6 different things by reading others solutions and they have not worked. I dont get why why im still having problems WHEN I JUST FRESHLY INSTALLED THE NEWEST FIREFOX AVAILABLE FROM YOUR SITE!!

Try to set the Flash plug to click-to-play by setting the permissions for Flash to "Ask To Activate" in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Plugins". That way you can activate the Flash plugin when you need it via the Lego block icon on the location bar.
Also, I don't even see Flash listed as installed on Firefox. Are you sure you have it installed? Try downloading it from the below site

Adobe Premiere Pro wont play any video/audio

Hello! i recently got an Adobe creative cloud membership. and so i have been editing a video. no problems, no lag, nothing, its all been wonderful.
but i sent the video to SpeedGrade, then exported from there and had an audio sync issue, that i decided to fix by aligning the old video clips audio with the new graded versions video.
upon importing (old non graded and new greaded versions) the 8 minute files, and double clicking them to view them, they wouldn't play, even after a couple minutes.
and they wouldn't play in the timeline either.
so i tried many things, restarting, deleting my preference files, deleting and re-installing the application, using different video files + projects.
i even tried an old project that i had. no other applications are suffering from this problem. (like after effects or speedgrade, they are 100% fine)
i also tried different settings, including ones with the mercury playback engine. no luck
No other forum has helped.
i have a 21.5 inch Imac, with an intel i5 processor.
8 gig of RAM. a 500gb HD
and an AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB
i am running OS X 10.8.2

it was a video i was working on. i didnt export it to speedgrade though, i used dynamic link (send to speedgrade command) and sent the entire timeline to speedgrade.
i quite premiere because i didnt need it any more (at that point because i was using speed grade) then i exported out of speedgrade the graded clip and brought that into premiere. and now premiere wont play anything.
UPDATE: however when i scrub, it plays through the video but i dont hear audio (even though the setting for that is turned on).
and when i press the space bar (or the play/stop button) over and over after i scrubbed a little bit, it will jump back and forth, so obviously not a hard drive permission/read error.
and lastly, when i try to change the amount of zoom it has in the viewer (fit, 10$, 100%, 50% etc.) it crops the image and then the applications becomes unresponsive.

I have a sony fdr-ax100 4k camcorder and it wont play the videos i downloaded! what do i do?

All the videos are imported into final cut pro. when i drag the clips to the timeline and press play it wont play! it will just stay stationary.

Use Reveal in Finder and open one of the clips in the QuickTime player. Report exactly what it says in the inspector.
Report your exact system specs including the drives that are playing back the 4K media.

Quicktime wont play mpeg4 videos

hi, i have downloaded quicktime 7.1.3 and iTunes for windows but i cant seem to play mpeg4 videos on them. They will play but the screen is mostly white and the video is not visible. i dont know if i have installed it wrong or the settings are wrong. plz help me

I am told thh file is MPEG-4, AVC/H.264, Approx. 30 fps, Progressive, AAC, mp4 format. they couldn't tell me the exact data compression. I was however, able to watch the file using the VLC media player. Does that help?

Information available online already indicated the 1920x1080 mode employed AVCHD (format developed jointly by Sony and Panasonic which was designed for Blu-ray disc compatibility) and the 1280x720 mode using MPEG-4. Since you were not 100% sure about the mode and did not indicate if your attempt to import via iMovie was done directly from the camera (calls special different import modules) or from iPhoto via the Finder (a simple Move/Copy operation) we still do not have the total picture. I would however, lean more towards it being an MPEG4/AAC file in an MP4 file container requiring an add-on video component. Nor have you indicated whether or not you have the Perian component package installed which might be able to handle the video data.

How can I play online videos without many long pauses during play?

I have current flash and 7. Lately, all online videos have many long pauses throughout play. They used to play continuously through. Flash is enabled.

Finally, sometimes video and audio problems are caused at a lower level and not directly related to Flash Player. I recommend trying both of the links below to see how they perform. If the problem exists with both, then Flash Player is most likely not the culprit as the HTML5 video link does not use Flash Player when playing. You can verify the use of HTML5 by right clicking the HTML5 video and looking for the words "About HTML5" at the bottom of the context menu.

ITunes 10.6.3 wont play music videos

No music videos will play on my retina macbook pro. Only the sound plays.
This is only happening for music videos.

Thanks for the reply. I just solved this issue. The last time I had played music in iTunes on my laptop I had done so through my Airport Express. For some reason it still believed I was streaming through the Airport Express even though it was off and wouldn't play the video. Once I turned back on the airport express and then deselected it from available speaker the video for music videos returned!

Flash wont play embedded videos only on some accounts

Here is my system and software configuration. Windows7 - IE8 32 bit -- latest Flash version. Flash plays embedded videos under administrator account but not on the other user accounts. Youtube and tests on adobe site shows flash working on all accounts. I've checked IE security settings and kill bit in the registry. Harware acceleration does not make a difference. I've unloaded and loaded Flash multiple times even in the other accounts changing account type to administrator temporarily. Nothing will make it work. I've checked firewall and Norton AV turning them on and off. I am out of ideas and out of patience. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi, just wanted to tell this is exactly the same problems I have. And I have tested like you said. My administrator user account can show embeded videos correctly, but both my non-adm user account can not show correctly embeded. And tried to change non-adm account to adm - did not help.
System: Vista home, IExplorer 9
Videos on Youtube.com plays perfect and the adobe "about" flash page shows I have installed latest and I see a spinning logo with my non-adm users.
I have also checked the kill-bit in registery.
But I did find out something, unfortunally it's not a solution, but a clue what's going on - I hope.
If I open this example webpage, all I can see are 2 blank frames and a icon in upper left corner.
If I open same weblink with my adminastror, I can see the videos.

After alot of search on the web, I found some ideas. Copy the below text and save it as "test.html", and open the file in IExplorer. This html text is a mix of collected html-text from above webpage and added some from youtube.com where you get the html-code to copy&paste to embed. The source at end is using IFRAME methode.
The only visible embeded sources using my non-adm account are those that has a "classid" added or IFRAME methode. If there is no "classid" my non-adm account only sees a blank frame and icon in upper left. My administrator account does see ALL sources.
But how to fix that I can see all embeded as non-adm user - sorry, I have no clue
One extra thing: I noticed when running IExplorer as non-adm user, I can see a line in the process-list in windows taskmananger, process-name "FlashUtil10n_ActiveX.exe" with info-text "Adobe Flash Player Installer/Uninstaller 10.2r152" if I try to view a webpage with flash source.
If I do the same thing with my administrator user this process is not listed in windows taskmanager.
