Z3200 Yellow ink tube ran dry without stopping and prompting me to install new cart

The yellow ink in my Z3200 ink ran out after warning me it was low. It never stopped printing when a replacement cart was needed. Now my yellow line is dry. What do I have to do to get ink in the line to resume printing?Thanks for any help. Peter

Those are the same setup heads that come with the plotter. Just do a google search for the part Q6675-67004 and you will see they are the same as the ones you used when you first got the machine. You will also need to purchase another printhead since the current head is empty or has air in it and trying to use it will cause air in the tubes again. There is another method you can use for one color. Just get yourself a hypo like for diabetics and remove the printhead, insert the needle in the rubber in the front where the pin from the printhead goes and draw ink until the hypo draws a full amount of ink. You will have to draw the hypo, remove, press down on the plunger, draw again, etc until you get ink. You will still need to replace the printhead.

Is there a way to make the audio play continuously so that the same song play during the intro and slideshows without stopping and restarting?

Recently returned from vacation and wish to make a dcd slidshow with the same music all the way through without it stopping and starting with each new event slideshow. Can this be done?

When using the "Books" app on my ipod touch, if I open one of my books there is no way to return to the library without stopping and restarting the app. What am I doing wrong?

Once I open a book in my library there is no option to close it and return to the library. I must leave the app, stop the app and then restart it. How do I exit an opened book to return to my library without having to exit, stop, and restart the app?

Assuming you are talking about "iBooks", then just
tap the center of the screen
and you should see a "Library" in the upper left corner of the screen.
tap the center of the screen again,
and you should return to full screen mode.
if this is NOT iBooks, then I do not know what controls that app

Updated plug-ins, you tube/life stream still stopping and starting

My computer has always run you tube video/life feed fine. Last week it started starting and stopping, I updated adobe plug ins yesterday, it was running great. Today it is stopping and starting again? Any Advice? I've run anti-virus scan-- fine-- restarted it twice.

I integrated the 3 scripts: uidRangeFilter, gidRangeFilter and freeId in the install-script as functions. Some error-checking is missing ... You can try and if all conditions are fullfilled it will install. All conditions means (I think) a free uid below 1001 and a free gid below 101. Maybe some other things ...
You can change the range in which the values are choosen in getFreeUid and getFreeGid (although I could pass the values as parameters to these functions ...). Normally if all goes well, the asterisk-user won't show up in your login-console normally.

HT3775 Why won't a video clip play all the way through without stopping and loading so many times?

Any video clip that comes via email will not play all the way through without stopping so many times to load that a short clip takes 10 minutes to watch. Sometimes, the video simply stops and loads forever and ceases to work at all.
This happens for Youtube videos also.
I am using a Snow Leopard Imac.

Uninstall the currently installed Flash plugin then reinstall new.
Very important to uninstall the old first.
Uninstall > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
Then reinstall new from here > http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Then restart your Mac.

I would like to always open new link, bookmarks and so on in a new tab without rightclicking and shoosing "open in a new tab". Is that possible?

This is the way Avant browser works by default. So if I am gonna change to Firefox this is an issue for me to work without doing any extra clicks...

You can also middle-click a link with the mouse wheel to open that link or bookmark in a new tab.

Transport service is alway stopping and not able to install sp3

i was installing SP3 for exchange 2010 where i saw a warning to install filter pack
i installed filter back 2.0 and it removed 1.0 so i restarted the server tried to install sp3 but is showing only install exchange option, transport service starts with an error and then stops
i removed filter pack 2.0 put back 1.0 but i am in the same situation

Some videos stop and go whats going on?

I have owned an iphone for a couple of weeks. It seems that often (or maybe always) when playing a video from apps and youtube, the video keeps stopping. If you keep pressing the play button, the video may play for a couple of seconds but then stops. This happens with my daughters iphone bought at the same time. What is happening?

What's happening is the video is playing faster than it can be downloaded, so it stops often. The trick is to let your iPhone decide on when to start playing the video... it will start the video automatically when it determines that you can watch the entire video without stopping and waiting for the download to catchup.

Flash player stops and starts intermittently

Does anyone know why videos stop and start intermittently. It becomes frustrating to watch and I eventually give up.

i am limited in my data plan to 256 kb/sec
i did not have this problem a year ago. but had it when i used win xp as well. Today noticed a site where i could choose low speed, medium speed or high speed bandwith. i chose the low speed 265 kb and the video played flawlessly without stopping and starting
I claim no expertise and eagerly await some informed advice on whether it is possible change a setting within flash player to accomadate us low bandwith users.

My yellow ink just stopped after 20 pages. cleaning printhead didn't help per hp instructions.

I have a photosmart plus b210e series. My yellow ink started streaking, and then gave out completely within about 2 pages of printing photos. The diagnostic report confirms that yellow doesn't show up. but the printer seems to think everything is fine. I tried cleaning the printhead and making sure ink was coming out of the yellow cartridge, but that didn't work, either. I've only printed about 20 pages when this happened.

Teh symptoms you're describing sound like a hardware failure in the printer's ink system. There are a few more steps you can try.
1. Remove teh power cord from the printer and allow it to sit for about a minute, then plug the power cord back in.
2. Try replacing the ink cartridge, it is possible that the cartridge is not delivering ink correctly to the printhead.
If neither of these steps are successful in restoring your ink usage, you problably need to to contact HP printer support at 1-800-HPINVENT to receive more advanced troubleshooting.

Photo Paper Black Ink Smearing When Dry

I have a continuous problem with the ink easily smearing when I print with this paper, and check B&W in the print box. I am using a HP 8500 printer with HP 940XL inks. No matter how many days they dry, they smear and the ink lifts off. But, if I print the same with color settings (a b&w photo), the inks don't smear when dry. But the color cast to the old b&w photos is unattractive, not to mention a waste of color ink.
Why is this and how can it be avoided?

I have had the same problem with an HP Pro 8000.I selected Hp Premium Presentation Paper, Matte because I could not get the printer to print with black ink only with any photo paper!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was printing on HP Advanced Photo Paper Glossy and getting acceptable results UNTLL I ran out of black ink. After I installed a new 940XL Black cartridge ink could easily be rubbed off the prints when they were dry. I was still printing on paper from the same box. I have also discovered that when printing on HP Premium Photo Paper Glossy the ink will not rub off when it is dry!!!! The premium Photo Paper is several years old. I seleccted HP Premium Presentation Paper, Matte when printing on the old photo paper again to be able to print with black ink only. The tint that results from printing without using black is almost impossible to correct back to a true black & White. Why did one cartridge work and the next one smear??????????????

HP Officejet Pro L7580 - Yellow Ink Cartridge keeps popping out although it's brand new.

I have had this officejet printer for about 4 years. I have never had a serious problem until now. A few days ago I replaced the yellow ink cartridge (88XL) because the ink indicator showed it as being completely empty. After replacing the cartridge with a brand new cartridge from OfficeMax, the cartridge pops out while I'm trying to print or copy something and the displays says that the yellow cartridge's ink level is not enough and needs to be replaced.
It seems at first glance that this is a mechanical problem concerning the yellow ink slot; however, I'm not sure. Or I suppose the problem could be related to the cartridge itself. To get around this problem, I've held down the cartridge and stuck a small pencil in the opening where the small latch of the "ink cartridge compartment cover" normally goes in. That way I've been able to print, but it's really a hassle. And honestly I don't think this is the real solution to the problem.
If anyone knows how to resolve this issue, I'd like to hear from you. Please let me know as soon as possible. Worst comes to worst I will have to go out and buy another printer.

Try this for a Quick Fix ...........
After reading other forum comments from people having the same problem with the yellow cartridge popping-out, combined with others who have realised that HP have no interest in compensating anyone for this rediculous example of, at best, 'bad design', or at worst 'blatent planned obsolescence', I have created a 'quick fix' that may add another 1, 2 or more years of life to the HP Officejet Pro L7580 Printer.
This is not the elegant technical solution I was hoping for. However, in hindsight, it may prove to be a more reliable solution than replacing the faulty part that is actually causing the problem. So, here it is the Quick Fix ........
I found a wooden triangular door stop that I cut to size that fitted exactly in the space between the plastic door and the offending yellow cartridge. To hold it in place, I wrapped the doorstop with 2" cellotape, then I stuck the door stop to the inside of the plastic door with double sided cellotape (double sided stick-on foam would also work well). With the doorstop in the correct place, the plastic door closed perfectly and was snug enough to apply sufficent pressure to the offending yellow cartridge, and hence stopping it from popping out again. To make sure the plastic door does not 'fly open' with the pressure of the yellow cartridge (when it wants to pop out!), I applied another piece of 2" cellotape around the outside of the door, holding it to the body of the photocopier.
This exercise only took 10-15 mins to do. I feel this is a much better option than spending another $300+ on a new All-in-One system, as well as being a good environmental solution. If this is DELIBERATE 'planned obsolescence', companies like HP need to be more accountable for, at best, 'sloppy design'. Any feedback would be appreciated.

C4480 - #74 cartridge ran dry in a week with almost no use?

After a few months of printing, my blank ink ran out, so I bought a 74/75 combo kit and replaced the black cartridge. I followed the directions, it ran through it's setup, and I was good to go.
Within a couple days, I started getting the low ink warning on black after printing a few documents. Sure enough, the black ran dry tonight. I'd estimate I only printed about 10-15 pages on this cartridge.
Has anyone else had this problem? Now I have to go buy another expensive cartridge, hopefully not to experience this problem again. I have no receipt for Staples where I bought it - can I send it back to HP for a replacement?

No I have slow as crap AT&T. I think they only pay for the 1.5 speed. This is why I don't use my internet streaming but now that I am getting a nice computer I am getting nice/fast internet. I live with my parents and I think I am the only one that has his own internet & satalite. It's funny there are gonna be 2 different services for both. They still refuse to get HD on dish even when I offered to pay for so I got DirectTV. Between internet and Satalite I will kind of know my bills will cost when I get my house hopefull about Feb/March 2014 so I can buy a house within my budget.
I Just figure if you are gonna spend the money on a nice computer what is the point if you can fully use it. Plus I never really used the internet much other than surfing. Plus if you never had it you don't know what you are missing. So I was always content. Plus I never have has a computer that was really great just kind of middle of the road/good just to get the job done. Search the web and play some games offline. Not streaming or download music. I never really do that stuff anyway. Except maybe stream now that it will be fast. I pay for netflix and amazon streaming and it works but I know it could be better.

Photosmart C7280 All in One error notice saying out of yellow ink when cartridge has been replaced

Hello Forum members...I hope you can help me.
When I try and print something I get an error notice which says that I must replace the yellow ink cartridge and telling me I can print in Black only (which is fine because i usually use the greyscale fast print option anyway). However the worrying thing is that the error notice also says that if I do not replace the yellow cartridge then the printer will cease to work.
I did replace the cartridge quite some time ago. An HP cartridge from HP online. The cartridge is showing full on the bar chart display and yet still the error notice comes up when I try to print.
I hardly use the printer. I am a retired person who may occasionally print out the odd letter or email (I would say on average 2/3 pages per 2/3 weeks.) I very, very occasionally print the odd photo....say twice a year 6 photos.
I got the printer in 2008. This was a replacement FOC for an earlier model of the same type. It was one month out of guarantee when the earlier printer did exactly the same thing. I had just replaced several cartridges (the first replacements). The printer was eventually replaced by the store I had bought it from because they could not repair it. It just stopped functioning. Some computer type glitch
I am now afraid that if I do not act soon then this printer will seize up and be irrepairable.
I do hope some teccy member of the forum will be able to help me.

mine has an error notice that says yellow ink cartridge is empty ( when trying to print something off of the internet) though I have tried 3 new full ones.It also had a message that my printer could print black only. I've been angry for 2 days.
Now, I found out my computer is lying to me! I decided to print a blonde hairstyle I liked off the internet and I hit "black only" since that's my only option. But, it printed in color. I realized I've missed 2 days of being able to print off the internet because my computer or printer was lying.
