You are quite hard to understand. If it is about a fan speed problem try enabling cpu smartfan in bios.
why need to activate if this only if i start PC from shutdown mode, i dont see this specification on g630 box  or another 7 years to old cpu, bt i see on G860 box he have 1 fan identical

  • MSI Z77A-G43 - extreme memory profile problem

    Hello everyone,
I’d really appreciate a piece of help here. I’ve bought the MSI motherboard MSI Z77A-G43 and currently I’m having problems with my memory (slots 1 and 3). My PC has following specs:
    -   MSI Z77A-G43
    -   Intel Core i5 2500K (not overclocked)
    -   RAM Patriot 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 (PGD38G1600ELK) G2 Series
Everything is set to default values and works fine. But when I enter the BIOS, I see that the memory is automatically set to 1333 MHz. The memory has the XPM. But when I set the XPM (agressive timing, 1600 MHz) support (no other changes) and reboot the PC, it doesn’t work (endless reboot looping). Is there any way how I can make the XPM modus work? The memory is OK (tried on other MBs, XPM without problems), the CPU too. I tried overclocking, with slightly increased voltage I can easily reach 4,8 GHz on CPU, basically everything else is fine. The PSU is also sufficient (700W, OCZ). I can too set the memory on 1600 MHz manually, but the timing isn’t that good.
It’s actually a failure I can live with, but since it’s a brand new PC, I’d like to get the best out of it.
    Many thanks
    V.K.

Sometimes manually setting them works when XMP refuses to.
I don't know what the XMP SPD profile for that memory is, and a screenshot of your SPD and memory tabs would help.
    However try the following.
Disable XMP and reboot so they are back at 1333.
Manually set it to 1600 and ensure manual setting of the timings to 9.9.9.24 see if that works.
If not set your DRAM voltage to 1,575V and see if that works.
It may be that your memory requires 1,65V, in which case, that is what you have to set. You should be able to see that in CPU-Z SPD tab under the XMP profile column.

Brand new iPad 3 out of the box - set up problem. It says my Apple ID (email address) is already being used. I reset the password successfully but still says I need another Apple ID. Why won't the ID recornize me?

Open current iTunes on your computer. Connect iPhone to the computer with the Lightning USB Cable. Hold both the Home and Power buttons for about 20 seconds until iTunes recognizes the iPhone in Recovery Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes. If still problem, make Genius reservation or set up Sevice and take or send to Apple for resolution under Warranty.

  • Three beeps when booting new computer with MSI Z77A-G43 Mobo

I just built this pc and pressed the power button. Nothing happens for a few seconds and then I hear 3 beeps from the PC speaker. It powers off by itself and opens again, with 3 beeps again, and repeats this until i press the power button to close it down forcefully.

    OC: none

3 beeps is a memory failure!
try each stick in slot 2 individually as you may possibly have a bad stick?
if the first suggestion doesn't work remove the CPU and check the socket as you may have a bent pin in there causing the issue?

  • Z77A-G43 and Core i5 2500K and BIOS 2.4, should i update to newer BIOS?

    Hello,
I have this working config. without any issue:
    Z77A-G43
    Core i5 2500K
    2x4Gb GSKILL RipJaw @ 1600
    ASUS 7870
    PSU Corsair 750W
My current BIOS version is 2.4. I've seen that the latest BIOS for Z77A-G43 is 2.8.
Should i update to the latest version ? Does it make sense  ?

Not unless something is in the change log that could be of a specific benefit. If and when a UEFI/BIOS does come along that is going to be of benefit, be sure to use the forum's USB method to minimize the chance of it ever going badly.

Could you provide more details about the PSU? Wattage rating and the amp rating on the +12V rail(s). Also, what is the current BIOS version? Why 6GB RAM? Are you using 3 sticks? If so, that is known to be counterproductive and has shown performance hits in that configuration in benchtests. Use just 2 RAM sticks in dual channel placed in the proper DIMM slots.
PSU : 600W , +12v1 , 10.35A (Pic below if you want to see it clearly)
    BIOS : American Megatrends Inc. V2.12, 11/1/2013
why 6GB? back then i could only buy 6gb because i don't have enough money lol
and i really really need it because it was urgent and i dont use 3 sticks only 2 sticks

  • MSI Z77A-G43-memory problem

    Hello
I bought lately new cpu,mb and memory. When i turned it on it was still rebooting after few seconds after start. So i treid to put just one memory in slot. It worked but only if memory is in bank 3 or 4. In 1,2 computer is still rebooting. Also it works with two memory modules, but putted in 3,4 slots only. And just in single channel. I saw that many people have the same problem and shop service wrote them that it works like that. First You put memory in slots 3,4 and then in 1,2. It is strange for me. I don't have two another memory modules to check if this is true and I want to that it works in dual channel, not single. So, is this true or mb is broken?

Hello. I have the same problem, except, I use 4 Dimms in 4 slots on my MSI board. I installed speaker on MB to see if there are any beep sounds during the booting, but all seems ok. The problem is the PC keeps still rebooting after about 5 sec. from the start. There aren´t any visual information on screen, since the start is so short. I tried to install dimms in 2nd and 4th slot first. Then to 1st and 3rd. In both cases the problem was still the same. When I put all rams in all 4 slots, the result is the same (restart for ethernity). The only way that goes is the PC runs with only 1 dimm in either 1st or 2nd slot. I tested all the memory modules and all of them work fine. I even tried this on a differennt mainboard from ASUS P8Z77-V LX. Now I tested it on MSI Z77A-G43. Both mainboards are new. There is a very slim change that both of them would be defective. Before I got MSI MB, I ran couple of days on the ASUS MB and everything was perfect, so I don´t think that CPU is defective. I even ran a few benchmarks on it. But I still don´t understand why can´t I run the system with all 16 GB of RAM instead of 4 GB in one slot. Please help me.

  • Z77a g43 BIOS problem

Hi all, I have a problem with the BIOS on my Z77a g43 motherboard.
First of all here are the system specs.
    Cpu- i5 3570K
    Motherboard- z77a g43
    RAM- 8GB Kingston hyperX 1600MHz
    PSU- Enermax 850w 80+ bronze
    SSD- 120GB vertex plus
    HDD- seagate 500GB
    GPU- HD 7950 3GB
Heres the problem. When I use HD 4000 onboard graphics or a nvidea GPU all seems fine in my BIOS.
When I install a Radeon card my BIOS loses most of its features and looks completely different
No overclock options ect, it looks wierd and different, has anyone got a solution for this or had the same problem???
    Ive tried clearing CMOS.
    Different Radeon cards.
I`m runnion bios version 2.0 but have tried the latest BIOS but that made the problem worse(BIOS screen was zoomed into the top left of the screen)
Ive taken the motherboard battery out for a hour to make double sure the CMOS was totally clear.
Has anyone got any advice for me please    This is driving me nuts.
I apologise if the same problem has been reported on this forum but I did look before posting.

My new monitor arrived today and I can confirm that the HDMI tv was the problem.
Everything appears normal now after 5 months of trying to fix something that wasn`t broke lol.
Can I thank everyone that has posted in this thread who`s offered their support
Now I have a normal display in the BIOS and can use all the functions i`m going to have a mess about with a small overclock.
I already changed the multiplier to 42 and all seems well, i`m sure their will be a thread on here somewhere offering advice on OCing the i5 3570K with this board, does anyone have a link to such thread please?? It seems daft me starting one if their is one already running.
I`m over the moon with this MSI board now its doing what it should be

  • New box for ArchLinu

Building a new box which I wanna try running ArchLinux, would this combo run okay?
    Mobo: ASUS M2A-VM AM2
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6813131172
    CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6819103194
I'm shocked on how much prices dropped in a year.
Anybody predict any problems with this setup?

Actually I bought an ATI card, because the drivers (open source, I avoid binary blobs) are pretty good and only expected to become better. My old notebook used a mobility radeon x700 and it worked very well using the "radeon" driver and now I used an HD 3870 with the in-development radeonhd driver and there were no problems.

  • MSI Z77A-G43 RAM Problems

    Hi everybody,
I have some big problems with my new build:
    Intel Celeron G1610
    MSI Z77A-G43
2x4gb Corsair Vengeance LD low voltage 1600 mhz 1.35 v dual channel kit
    Seasonic 620w PSU
    Saphire 7850 2gb GDDRAM5
My system wont work with both ram sticks in. If I only use one of them (it doesn't matter which one) in whatever slot I want, I don't have any problems. However if I use both of them I get bsods or restarts very soon after windows finishes loading. I must also mention that it's almost impossible to install Windows with both Ram sticks in. I almost always get a bsod when the installer is expanding the windows files.
I must also mention that by default, my motherboard sets my ram to 1333 MHz and 1.5v even if the producer says that the ram should run at 1600 MHz and 1.35 v. If I set them to these values myself in the oc menu, they are reset to the default values again immediately after I get another crash.
I have the latest bios and drivers and I don't know what else to try: ( any ideas?
    Thank you!

Hi flobelix and thank you very much for your response. I tried your solution and on the next powerup, my pc didn't crash at all and I ran a couple of games and memory intensive programs.
However, unfortunatelly, after I closed the PC for a while and restarted it again, the problems came back. The ram timings don't change anymore in BIOS but the system constantly restarts. I ran memtest for 6 hours last night with both sticks of ram in and it did not find any errors so I can't figure out what's wrong.

Since I'm desperate, I'm just gonna go ahead and reinstall windows again. During the last successful pc run (after I took your advice), I ran MSI live update and installed the rest of the utility software. Maybe this did something to my drivers.... I'm really reaching the end of my possibilities :(

  • Z77A-G43 USB problem

I am new owner of Z77A-G43, cooperating with i5-3570K, 2x4 GB Kingston, just internal GPU in procesor. I have small problem with USB connectors in back of the mainboard. If i connect 1 USB device to USB2 port, i can switch the PC on without any problems. If i connect 3 USB2 devices (webcam, Wireless Keyboard+Mouse senzor, TV Tuner), then if i switch PC on, nothing happend. The PC just dos not start up. I have to disconnect 2 USB devoices, i can keep connected 1 device at max. Or i can connect rest of 2 devices to USB3 ports on mainboard. Then i can switch the PC on with all of 3 USB devices connected. I do not understand this problem. I can live with it, 2 devices in USB3 + 1 device in USB2, but it looks really strange. Should i claim it or?

try to change USB compatible mode in BIOS
don't forget to test speed after that

  • Z77A-G43 restart problem

I have a similar problem with my Z77A-G43 board, though it doesn't seem to be connected to rebooting (warm starting) or powering up (cold starting) the system. Sometimes there won't be a POST beep, or the system won't pass the BIOS POST for a very long time. Tried several BIOS options - even defaults - to no avail. It sometimes takes up to a minute or more to bypass the POST from time to time. Sometimes the POST beep happens at once and I have to wait a long time then until Windows is actually loaded, and at other times it doesn't beep until a minute has passed. When I cold start the system the issue seems less probable, but is still possible.
Additionally I can't seem to enter the BIOS setup (have to use Windows Click BIOS to make changes). Since I connected a second monitor to my EVGA GTX680 I can't see the POST screen anymore. Looks like none of the two monitors is used during the POST. When I only had one monitor connected the BIOS showed 99, B4 or B2 in the lower right corner when the above problem was present.
PS: Issue was present in BIOS version 2.1, 2.2 and also in the new 2.3 (currently in use)

    System:
    MSI Z77A-G43, i7-2700k non-oc, 16GB Corsair Vengeance PC3-12800U CL9-9-9-24 (DDR3-1600), 120GB SSD OCZ Agility, EVGA GTX680, NT Coolermaster 650W GX powersupply, 1TB Seagate ST1000DM003 7200rpm HD
The issue in my first post was there from the start when I first powered the system on. I then flashed BIOS version 2.2 (2.1 was the one that came with the PC), tried several settings, issue not gone. Then I upgraded to 2.3, also tried several settings, issue still there, but eventually the system would bypass BIOS POST. Tried to manually set RAM timings, system rebooted, then powered off. This on/off thing the PC did by itself in an endless loop, I cut power through the powersupply switch after about watching this 15 times. When I powered it on again then, the issue described in my second post happened. System would power on for about a second, powering off again, endless loop. Resetting BIOS settings didn't help.
Tried to reconnect every cable I could find, disconnected all exterior devices. Did not trust the clear cmos jumper, so I deinstalled the gfx to be able to reach the cmos battery. Removed it, while having the psu unplugged, waited a minute, reinserted it. Assembled everything again, no go, still the same power on, fans rotate for a split second, powers down again, and endless loop again.
I think there is something damaged on the mainboard and I have to get it replaced. I hope it did not damage any other component with those power on/off loops. Or is there anything else I could try to get it working again?

Return it and get your money back. Virgin does not offer official unlocking, thus there's no way to get the phone officially unlocked for you to use it.
Sorry, but you wasted your money.

  • New With a Textures Problem

I've just started teaching myself Java after many years of dabbling with other languages. I've jumped right into Java3D. Needless to say, I've got problems.
I'm trying to apply a texture to a sphere, and move that texture across the sphere. Clouds across a planet surface. I used setTextureTransform to rotate the texture relative to the surface. My problem is that the result looks like the texture is fixed at one edge and stretching itself in the direction I tell it to rotate, until it reverses itself, looking normal but applied the wrong way around, and then stretches back the other way until it returns to its original position. It does that no matter which axis I rotate, always stretching around the relevant axis.
What simple little thing that I would have learned immediately in a formal educational environment am I missing?
I hope it's not uncouth to post code here, and I apologize for how messy my style is. The TextureTransform is last paragraph from the bottom. objTrans, ap, basically everything that doesn't have a "2" on the end is the relevant stuff.
I hope this is the right forum.

Yeah, I was afraid I was making etiquette mistakes. Sorry about that.
Let me see if I can simplify this. Imagine a rectangle (face of a Box) with a texture mapped onto it. I want to shift that texture along the X axis. I use the method setTextureTransform, feeding it the translation vector I want, which increases a fixed amount per frame. What I would expect to happen is that the texture slides to the right until it disappears completely. What actually happens is that the texture remains fixed at the left edge and stretches out in the positive X direction.
The above description is for clarity's sake. My actual problem involves a 3D sphere and the expectation that the texture would wrap around fill in the part of the surface left blank by the moving left edge of the texture.
I've obviously not set something that I should have, but since I'm learning the language by reading the SDK, I don't know enough yet to know where to look for the mistake. Probably somewhere in the texture coordinate assignment or the relationship of texture to object.
That's as clear as I can make it without showing you the program running, and I don't know how to do that yet.

  • Failed recordings on a new box

I got a new box a fortnight ago and it's started to fail to record a variety of programmes. They're all on major channels such as Channel 5 and BBC1 (which I can watch with good signal any time) and sometimes they record, other times they don't, which suggests it's not a problem with signal. I'm never recording two programmes at once and my box still has 98% available.
Any ideas? It's really frustrating to have to hunt down my favourite programmes on demand when they fail to save the first time round

Unfotunately Youview boxes don't display a reason that a recording failed ... they either have no entry , a parial recording setting or a failed recording setting in the My View list of recorded programms. There are several scenarios whereby a recording could fail so unfortunately there could be many causes.
Which box do you have - the older larger  DTR1000 or the  newer smaller DTR2100 ?
First check that you have the latest software on your box.
Second how are your falied recordings showing in My view - are they listed as failed or simply not there ?
Are the failures all occuring when the box is in standby - if so is the box in High or Low ECo setting - if its in Hi ECo setting in standby do you get any improvement when switching to low ECO mode.
