Z77A-G45 will not detect video card.

I though that I was having trouble with a new gtx 760sc, so I RMA'd it. On-board video works fine. Still can't detect video card. Bought a new power as well(antec HCG-750). After i received the new video card and still had the same issues I tried out other video cards. Tried two different nvidia cards. One was a 4 series and one a 5 series. Tried in both pci-e slots, and yes the correct power cables were plugged in.

CPU looks fine.
Was finally able to breadboard the thing today. Had the same issues at first. Then I tried the third pcie slot and got post. This one is pcie2.0, so I tried the other slots again. Was able to get the 760 to boot on th second pcie slot. Put the mb back in the case and lost boot on card again. Reseated, same issue. Breadboarded and was able to get the card to post. Still no post in case. Can't see what could be causing a short. Rearranging the risers right now to see if is one of the risers causing a short, or maybe not enough clearance. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello i recently upgraded my pc with new video card (asus engtx570 directcu ii gtx 570) the problem is that main board(MSI H55M-E23) is not detecting video card, so here is what happens when i turn the pc on it starts to beep 1long beep and 2 short beeps. First i thought it might be power suply so i bought new power suply with 700w and still the same thing happens, then i tryed with LC850w and same thing so i guess the power supply is not the problem. I removed rams and tryed with 1 stick, i have 4 different sticks and same thing happened with each stick. i tested the videocard on different mainboard (ASUS P5Q PRO and ASUS P8H67-M PRO REV. 3.0) and videocard worked fine. i tested my mainboard H55M-E23 with sapphire ATI HD 6950 and it worked too so the pci slot is ok, and now i dont know what to do more i tested all things possible. MSI 770-G45: Will not detect SSD.

My mother board can't detect my SSD but strangely enough it can detect my DVD drive (sorry, I don't know the name and model).
My computer was fine till I recently switched out my heat sink. I tried to turn on my computer and it wouldn't start at all; I noticed that I plugged in the wrong connectors into JFP1, so I fixed that and reconnected them into their proper pins. It powered on but that's about it so I cleared CMOS jumper which helped me get to the BIOS but now it can't detect my SSD to which it contains my OS. As I said, I can get to the BIOS but that's about it.
I'm at work so I can't tell you what BIOS version is on it but before clearing the CMOS it was at the latest BIOS version. I will have to confirm it's current version later.
I checked all connections, tried different SATA cords and other connections on my board. Still can't detect it.

Is your SSD in Sata 1? It is best to put your storage drives in the lower Sata connectors and your optical drives in the last, higher numbers. Possibly change out your Sata cable. Check that it is seated correctly. Having a single SSD you can set IDE, Raid disabled. If Raid is on, it will be looking for the raid program to control the drives. You don't have to run and do it, but a new Bios was released .9 (bios should only be updated if the changes benefit you) Also make sure the power lead to the SSD is seated. Another option is to test your SSD in another PC and see if it shows up.

I don't think I can update to 9. The latest is 10.8 according to MSI but if I can upgrade to 10.9 then I'll try that out.
Yeah, my SSD APPEARS to work; I plugged it into a hard drive enclosure and it powered on; plugged it to my laptop and it was able to read it; only thing was that I couldn't really do anything with it which I found odd. It didn't show up in my list of drives in windows explorer however it did appear in the disk management console (diskmgmt.msc at command prompt). This issue might be suspect.
One thing I didn't mention; to check to see if there was an issue with my SSD, I tried another SATA hard drive. At this point, I was able to detect my DVD drive but not my SSD so I figured I should try and see if I can read a normal hard drive. I plugged her and my computer didn't start. I put the normal hard drive back into its enclosure and it didn't work; the power light was red blinking; tried another enclosure similar results.

Photoshop CS5 64-bit does not detect Video Card

I just updated from CS4 to CS5. I have a core i7 with an ATI HD 5700 series graphics card with the most recent driver 10.9. Photoshop is also updated to 12.0.1. For some reason, only the 64-bit version does not detect the graphics card. Photoshop CS4 64-bit and Photoshop CS5 32-bit see the graphics card fine. I noticed a few others have had the same issues. Has this problem been addressed yet? If not, is there a workaround?

MSI H55M-E32 will not detect Graphics card

HI,
I just bought a new cpu, i am using the intel intergrated graphics (on-board) at the moment. I tried installing radeon 9600 pro graphics card but the mobo does not detect it. Monitor is black screen, no boot up. btw the fan on radeon 9600pro is not spinning.
I tried using another graphics card that i have. A creative gf4 Ti4200. no boot up on monitor as well. fan not spinning.
How to get the motherboard to detect the graphics card...??? my computer does not detect any graphic cards..

Z87-g45 won't detect video card

I just got a 87-g45 and the on board graphics work fine with my dvi cable. I put in my gtx 660 but it won't detect it at all. I tried putting it in another computer and the card works fine. I saw another thread with a similar problem: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=174991.0
I just flashed the bios to the one linked in the thread, but it didn't help. Should I plan to get a new motherboard or is there another way to solve this?

yes it may run fine if a pin that connects to the PCI-E connector is bent! you need to remove the cooler and CPU and look in the underlying socket with a Bright light and a magnifier to see if they are all strait and in line! with each other from a few angles like from above and then at a 45 degree angle to make sure they all look exactly the same!

put the board on a piece of plain cardboard or wood (to prevent shorting) on a table and plug up the power and so on and see if it posts there (most builders do that before they put it in a case or place it on the motherboard box itself)!

Windows Vista Boot camp will not show video card

Im running a macbook pro in windows vista 32 bit boot camp mode. Every thing works fine except that the device manager only shows the VGA adapter and not the Nvidia Geforce 8600M GT I have equiped. I cant find any drivers for this card. Is there any way to get Vista to use it properly?

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13 running? Have you updated 13 to 13.1 yet using an opened project's Help Menu/Updates?

What are the properties of your source file that is presenting in the project with audio but no video?
Quickest way to gain that information is from brand/model/settings of the camera that recorded the video.

Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer along with Premiere Elements 13/13.1? Are you running the programs as
administrator?
Is your video card/graphics card driver version up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?

Lumia 625 does not detect MicroSD cards, please he...

My Lumia 625 does not detect MicroSD cards when inserted.
I have tried powering off/on.
I have tried formating them in my PC.
I have updated my phone to 3050.0000.1334.0007
I have tried a Kingston 64GB SDXC Class10
I have tried a Sandisk Ultra 64GB SDXC Class10
I have tried formatting the cards in various ways including exFAT / FAT32 / FAT64 etc.
The only progress i made was when i tried formatting in NTSC and after inserting the card i recieved a message saying "incomattable formatted card inserted, do you whish to format the card in a compattable format?" After choosing yes, the phone formatted the card and then the card was undetected...
This was confirmed by checking the card in my PC, which confirmed that the card had been formatted using exFAT, which i believe is the correct format for the phone/card.
Clearly the phone is somehow detecting and writing to the card and the card is functioning properly, except that the phone does not detect that the card exists as expanded memory and will not allow me to use it.
Any help with this would be really appreciated!

Have you tried to perform a reset? It will delete all your data so backup is required. See this link: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/how-to/wp8/basics/back-up-my-stuff for the steps on how to backup your files. After creating a backup, go to Settings > About > Reset your phone.

Elements 11 will not playback video

just installed elements 11 and have added an mpeg4 file. all appears good but can not playback the video. only a white screen where the video should play. if i double click the clip the edit window behaves the same. How do I get the video to play? no error messages are displayed. and the audio plays normally.

What you might want to try is renaming the file extension to: mts, .m2t,
.m2ts, .avi, or .mov to see if the renamed file imports into Premiere
Elements 11 and displays its video. The video imports to elements fine
with no errors and renders fine with no errors. In the playback window it
shows the video when paused. When I move the time line cursor the video
window reacts as you would expect by showing the frames as you move past
them. The issue is when you click play under the playback window, it turns
white and you hear the audio with no video.

Will the 5870 Video card run off...

I have a 5870 Video card in a 2012 Mac Pro using 2 power connections off the motherboard. No available power connections right now.
I need a spare power connection off the motherboard to run an Avid HDX card, (fan only), so will the 5870 Video card run ok split (Y) off one power connection?
I've got the cable, but I didn't want to just do it and ruin something.

How about using serial ata power connector for Avid HDX card and motherboard 2 power connectors for graphic card, if you do not install 4 HDDs?

HT1386 iTunes will not detect my iPhone(5s) after the most recent update.

Ever since i updated iTunes it will not detect my iPhone, every time i plug it in it asks to trust the computer which I always use to sync my iPhone. Every time i select "trust this computer" and it still won't detect it. PLEASE HELP.

After updating to windows 8.1 iTunes will not play video

I recently updated to Windows 8.1 but since i have my iTunes will not play video i previously downloaded from the iTunes store. The video will play in QuickTime without issue though, please help

sorry it's not my apple id. it's my icloud email/account. after i updated to ios 8.1.2 my icloud acct on my phone is wrong. it's using my old college email address instead of my current icloud account email. my old college email address *used* to be my apple id, but i changed my apple id to my gmail account a few months back. anyway i can't "sign out" or delete the icloud account bc it thinks my college email address is my icloud account and it keeps asking for the password. so i'll type in the current password for my icloud account and it says it's wrong and i need to retry or change the password, which i've already done twice and nothing changes. probably bc its asking for the password associated with the college email address it thinks is my icloud acct.
i can access icloud on my desktop without a problem... make any sense? do i have to restore my phone now or is there a solution? i've wasted the last 2 days trying to figure this out. i can't send or receive emails on my iphone bc of this. which really ***** for work.

My imac will not detect external monitor after recent update. Is there a way to fix this?

I have a VGA monitor plugged in to my imac using the VGA adapter to the mini-DVI. All was working well. Since I updated over the weekend, the computer will not detect the monitor.
Any ideas how to fix this?

I didn't think about the adaptor, but you should at least visually inspect both the adaptor and the cable at both ends. If one or more pins got bent even slightly the connection might fail. The cables can also fail internally. Replacing the adaptor and cable may be the quickest thing to do initially. If you want to try to save money, first replace the adaptor, and if the problem persists, then go replace the cable (or vice versa).
