4.4 - 4.7, maybe 4.8 depending on your CPU. Recommended limit for everyday as a 'maximum' of applied CPU V. is 1.400v's or less.
thank you will keep that in mind. Ive settled for a 4.2 stable. its more than efficient for my applications.

  • After updating to iOS 8 notification and control center won't open when unlocked

Ever since I updated my iPhone 5s to iOS 8, the notification and control center will not open while my phone is unlocked. I checked to see if I had it disabled in settings and it turns out I did not. I switched the Access Within Apps as well as the Access While Locked on and off anyway but still nothing. I can only pull the notification and control center open while my phone is locked... it is extremely annoying. I know I'm not the only one though because my friend who updated to iOS 8 on his 5c was having the exact same problems. Some help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

So yesterday vibration suddenly started working again, after nearly two weeks with the problem above. I have no idea why, I didn't change any settings and the only app that was updated yesterday was Facebook messenger...

  • My apps and Control Center calculator have disappeared on my iPhone 5s!!

I just bought this phone in December and was having a lot of fun learning how to use it.
All of my apps have been working fine, but suddenly this week a bunch of them are just gone... and so is the calculator in my Control Center!
It is an iPhone 5s.  Operating System iOS 7.0.4.  Sprint.
I have not used anything called 'jailbreak.'  It is a brand new phone, not a restored one.
I have researching solutions on forums and youtube and I have tried the following suggestions:
    - Swipe my screen right --> Use the search bar to find my apps.
    - swiping between different screens and folders where they may have been displaced
    - Settings --> General --> Reset --> Reset Home Screen Layout
    - Settings --> General --> Reset --> Reset All Settings
    - Delete all of my apps.  Plug the phone into my laptop.  iTunes --> App Store --> redownload them from iTunes. (my laptop app store did not show iphone apps, just laptop apps)
All of these suggestions had no success.  The Reset All Settings was a killer.  I backed up everything I thought I needed on iCloud but missed some things.  So now after all those trials, I lost a bunch of my info, my wifi and settings are reset, and I am still missing my apps and Control Center calculator
    PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!
I am not very technologically advanced, so if there are any new suggestions you can offer, I would greatly appreciate it!
And please explain them in layman's terms    thanks

    Is that the only option?
Why would I have suggesed it if there were a simpler option that you didn't aready try without success?
I'm afraid I will lose even more information.
Did you read the support article I linked for you - specifically the part about backing up and restoring the backup?

  • Notification Center and Control Center is gone with 7.0.6

I've noticed that since 7.0.6 iOS update my Notification Center and Control Center sometimes stopped working. I have to turn off and turn on my iPhone to get it back. Is it happening to anyone else?
I tried to slide my finger from up to bottom and nothing happens, neither from bottom to up, nor on the lock screen.

FYI this video solves the problem

The problem is when you use assistive touch triple home to disable itself.

  • HT5858 My notification center and control center are stuck

My notification center and control center are stuck grey and black even if i change the wallpaper. I restarted my iPod but its still stuck how do i fix this!!

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Notification and Control Center does not show

    Hi,
Sometimes (I don't know exactly under which circumstances) on my iPhone 4 (iOS 7.0.2), Notification and Control Center won't appear with swipe gestrue.
In this situation, When iPhone is locked and a notification (like message or phone call) arrives, the screen ALWAYS shows that notification and the screen is always on, until I arraive and lock it manually !! The second one is a serious problem beacuse after some hours the battery drops dramatically.
ONLY a reboot solves this probelm.
Is there any solution to this topic rather than reboot?

Same problem! I have a 4 though so maybe that's the problem? What iphone do you have?

  • CPU-Z and Control Center II Values Don't Match

I've been attempting to achieve a modest overclock with my P67A-GD65 and 2500k with stock cooler. I tried OC Genie briefly and also tried a manual overclock up to 3.8, just to see what would happen. In both cases, Control Center reports my overclock at what I expect, and in the BIOS screen I see the overclock. But, CPU-Z, and pretty much everything else on my Windows 7 build report no change in the clock speed from default. It wavers around the default 3.3ghz in CPU-Z, Windows reports 3.3ghz, etc.
When I run Prime95 and watch temps with SpeedFan, there's a definite increase in my core temps when I've got my overclocking enabled vs. when it's not, which leads me to believe the overclock is actually doing something. Is there some way this board could be keeping the true clock speeds to itself and not letting the rest of the system know? I'm stumped.
I also noticed that no matter the settings, my clock speed doesn't seem to go down at idle. What settings should I be using to enable power management? I think I've got them enabled but it's not working. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I don't see the CPU clock ramp up at all. I don't see it fluctuate in CPU-Z more than by about .2MHz, always sitting around 3.3GHz. This is while running Prime95 of course. What I'm saying is, some programs, such as Control Center and even 3DMark report my overclock appropriately. Windows I can understand might not display the overclock, but CPU-Z SHOULD show the overclock and it doesn't, and neither does SpeedFan. What DOES happen though is my highest temps skyrocket while running Prime95 during the overclock. When I leave the BIOS settings on the default 3.3, SpeedFan reports my highest core temp at 70C (which incidentally seems really high to me). When I overclock to 3.8, my highest temps go up into the high 70s, so I KNOW something is heating up the CPU considerably more, which can only be the overclock. Why is it that CPU-Z always reports 3.3GHz though, even when at the same time I'm measuring much higher temps than at the default clock during Prime95?

  • CPU IO voltages and Control Center

Hello everyone. I hope this is the right section for this, but since it's connected to my OC endeavours I guess it should be OK
I have the Z68A-GD65 (G3) board and I am a little confused by the CPU IO voltage readings in BIOS and in the MSI's control center.
When I set it to 1.12 in BIOS, CC seems to be showing it at 1.025, which is even lower than the default, if I am not mistaken. I think when it was set to 1.19 in BIOS, the reading in CC was around 1.089, so it seems the difference is around 0.1V between those readings.
Now I am wondering, if that is some kind of a glitch in the software or does the CC override the settings. Or perhaps there is some setting in BIOS that causes the CPU IO to drop? Worst case, something wrong with the MB/CPU?
I have an OC right now at 4.4 GHz (on a 2500k) and it went fine through around 10 Prime95 tests at the apparent 1.02 VTT/CPU IO, so it felt to me like something is wrong.
If I set the setting on Auto in BIOS, the CC will show something over 1.2V for it when overclocked (which is not a good setting, as far as I understand). I am not sure about the stock clocks and CC readings, but in BIOS it shows over 1.3V on auto on stock clocks, which is even weirder.
I hope someone will be able to clear this up for me

Yeah, that was my first thought -to take some direct measurments that is - but unfortunately I don't have anything at hand to do it with at the moment. Would be nice to figure out what's happening though

  • Why did the Notification Center and Control Center stop working?

After updating ios 8, Notification and Control Centers stop working from time to time. I can't swipe up or down. I have to use the Assistive Touch to bring them on screen. Restarting the iPhone make them usable again. But afyet a while, it happened again.
Now, iOS 8.1.2. Last update, the Centers used to appear again. But 8.1.2, they just stopped working.
How how can I fix it?

    Hello Eric Grylls,
Thanks for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.
If you're not able to access Notification Center or Control Center (other than using Assistive Touch) on your iPhone 5s since the latest update, I recommend following these troubleshooting steps mentioned in this article:
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on - Apple Support
If the device is unresponsive or if certain controls aren't working as expected, restart your device.
If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, or the if the screen remains black or shows a persistent Apple logo, try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more about restoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Apple.
    All the best,
    Jeremy

  • Swipe for Notification Center and Control Center not working after using Window Zoom

I'm using iOS 8.0.2 on an iPhone 6 and have noticed that after using the Window Zoom (Accessibility feature 3-finger double-tap), I cannot swipe down for Notification Center nor swipe up for Control Center when unlocked (i.e. in Home screen or within an app screen). However, when the iPhone is locked, the swipe down for Notification Center and swipe up for Control Center is okay. It just doesn't work when unlocked. And the only way to rectify the problem is to reboot the phone.
    Has anyone else experienced this?

I have figured out the solution to all of our problems!!! We can keep the zoom function ON!!!! Yay!
Step one. Turn back on the beloved zoom function.
step two. Tap screen with 3 fingers.
step three. Select window zoom. (If already selected move on to step Quatro)
    step qautro. Select Resize lens.
and for the moment you've all be waiting for... Drum roll..
    the grand finale step. IS...
shrink the window to the smallest size.
AFter you have done these 5 steps, you can thoroughly enjoy having all three functions at once. If you switch back to Full Screen Zoom (if that be your preference) the notification and control centers will remain functional! Bon apetit!
i have been successful enlarging the window while keeping the centers functioning by making sure the window is in the shape of a square.

On the lockscreen the gestures still working.
It happend now 3 Times today but I can´t see any System behind this.
And it happens also that the System freezes some times for a few seconds, I saw it happen In safari and mail app.
Hope these are only bugs in iOS which will be solved soon.

  • Building new Z77A-GD65, i3 3220 and it won't boot.

All new components, Z77A-GD65 with i3 3220 CPU and it will not boot. When I tried to boot, it would run the fans up to about half speed, light all the green diagnostics LEDs, indicate FF in the Multi BIOs display and then it would power-down for a few seconds and then it would try to post again and again, repeating. Then, just to be certain that I was certain I replaced the CPU cooler, disconnected the two wire start switch and started it with the start button.
I'd like comments on the above diagnostic process, did I shoot myself in the foot along the way? What HAS to be connect to the motherboard for the post to complete?
What I done so far: Since all are new parts I exchanged several.
    1. Exchanged power supply.
    2. I took the motherboard to MSI RMA service in Walnut, CA and they checked out and told me it was okay. The next day a MSI tech at Customer Service told me that only the latest BIOs update would support the i3 3220 CPU so I went back to MSI and they confirmed that the i3-3220 CPU was supported.
I would appreciate some suggestions about what to do.
    Thank You,
    cJerry

Did MSI verify that bios A5 or newer was installed on the main board?
Try building the computer on a non-conductive surface outside of the case. Install one stick of ram in DIMM 2, the cpu, the cooler and hook your monitor to the onboard vga.

  • Z77A-GD65 Live update and mouse

    Hey all!
trying to see if theres any update to the BIOS for my MB.... but when i enter liveupdate f rom the BIOS I cant use the mouse (well I can move it around but it wont register any clicks).
    So what shall I do?

You should skip using crappy Live Update and see for a new bios yourself: http://www.msi.com/product/mb/Z77A-GD65.html#/?div=BIOS

  • Notification center and control center only work from lock screen on my iPhone 6

When I try to swipe down to get notification center or up to get control center from any screen but my lock screen, I can't.  Is there a setting or something that I need to change?

That is correct. Are you starting from off the screen area itself? You cannot start from on the screen. You need to be just off of the screen to begin. See if that helps. If not, then do a reset on the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. Check operation after that.

  • Z77A-GD65 SDD drive and RAID5

    Hi,
First sorry for my english, I'm a poor french guy
    For start my system :
    Board: Z77A-GD65
    Bios: Version X.X
    VGA: Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS
    PSU: Corsair HX - 620W
    INTEL i7-3770k 3.5ghz - 8mo cache - turboboost - graphic hd 4000 - socket lga1155 bx80637i73770k

    HDD: SSD SAMSUNG 840 PRO - SATA III - 128 Go - MZ-7PD128BW
    COOLER: Noctua NH-U12P SE2
    OS: Windows 7 64bit Professional
In addition to that I have three Western Digital Caviar Green S-ATA - 1000 Go - 64 Mo in order to create RAID5 array. But here is trouble, let me explain.
My system work fine with BIOS SATA option in AHCI mode but if I set RAID mode (to create my RAID5 array) then I don't know what to do... SSD drive installed with AHCI didn't work with RAID mode, so I tried to reinstall windows with RAID mode but installation stops in the middle (just after reboot).
Do you have a solution for me?
    Thanks a lot.

Use the top one, the latter is for certain Intel boards I believe although I am not sure. Perhaps M for mobile? I dunno.
The latest Raid drivers can be found here:
