Z8000 mouse click behaviour is not consistent

The mouse is very elegant and practical for the type of business , I just have this weired behaviour on my Tecra Z50-A Windows 8.1 , the problem is , the mouse Left click is switching to right-click after few clicks, if I take my hand off the mouse and try again, the Left click comes back to normal and so on, after few clicks the click switches to Right-click until i take my fingers out of the mouse and put them back!
The HP product solution finder didnt detect my mouse, I believe due to not supported product (then why it is in the product support page????)
Any help or guidance here is much appreciated!
thanks.

  • Weird mouse click behaviour

    Hi,
    I don't really know how to explain this. Somethimes, in some situations, my mouse clicks registers twice. Like sometimes I can't minimize an applicatireaon by clicking on the taskbar entry, because the click registers twice and the application minimizes but right after that restores too. It happens with both right and left mouse buttons. Sometimes can't bring up the rigth click menu in thunar, because it appears and right after that disappears, but if I rigth click elsewhere,in an another application, it works. So it happens only with certain elements of the gui, it isn't that everywhere I click, it counts twice, only with a specific menu, or with the taskbar, or with an icon on my desktop - but can drive me crazy.
    With equinox gtk engine it happens more often than with clearlooks engine
    I observed this behavior with Linux Mint Debian Edition and with openSUSE with certain themes, and now with Arch. I don't think it is a hardware error, because it appears only with some elements of the desktop, not everywhere everytime, I don't think my mouse knows that I want to minimize firefox and decides to mailfunction just to drive me crazy
    Does anybody else observed this? Has anybody an idea how can I fix it?
    I use Xfce, but when I tried LMDE, I used Gnome, my apps are up to date, the mouse is a A4tech G6.

    I have the same behavior along with an additional clause that sometimes mouse clicks will not register at all.
    I am using i3...so I do not think its DE/WM specific. Been looking at xev...but it doesn't show up anything.
    Here's my Xorg.0.log, no errors as such, some information about using evdev for the mouse at the very end.

  • Mouse click point is not accurate

    Has anyone ever had an issue with the mouse click coordinates not being accurate? For example, when I click on my canvas with the Rectangular Selection Tool, the point being clicked is actually 10 pixels below where the mouse is pointing! It causes much unnecessary headache...
    Thanks for reading!

    How about giving some relevant information (see link)?
    How To Get Help Quickly!
    If you work on CS4 you could rotate through the Screen Modes (hit F three times) to correct the issue, which occurs when opening or creating a file in Full Screen Mode.

  • When-mouse-click trigger is not working

    Hi,
    My forms version is 10g.
    I've a black level and item level when-mouse-click trigger.
    There is some code inside that which is not being executed.
    To test, i simply printed a hello message inside the trigger's code.
    Even hello is not being displayed.
    Can anyone please help me in why this trigger is not working.
    Navnit

    You have some other issues going on if you don't see anything from a when-mouse-click trigger.
    First of all, are you spelling the trigger using a dash or underscore? WHEN-MOUSE-CLICK will run, but WHEN_MOUSE_CLICK will not.
    Have you set :SYSTEM.Message_Level to some value above zero in the form? If so, set it back to zero.
    On what object are you trying to click? Is this causing navigation? Navigation may cause validation to run, which may fail, which may prevent the navigation, which may prevent your when-mouse-click from running.
    And last, are you sure you are running the currently compiled fmx version of your form?
    When nothing works, you need to back up and start finding out what DOES work first.

  • EmptyPoints behaviour is not consistent

    I am using RDLC in asp.net. The behavior of the empty points is not consistent. Sometimes it draws a line and connects the empty points and sometimes it skips the line. I don't want to connect two points when the in between data does not exist. Please
    help me to solve this issue. Thanks.
    mub

    Hi Mubashar,
    According to your description, you have a line chart including empty points in your report. Now you find some the empty points are kept in the line, but some empty points are skipped in the line. Right?
    In Reporting Services, when working in a line chart, if our dataset includes empty values, the line chart will add empty points, in the form of placeholder lines, in order to maintain continuity on the chart. So those empty points supposed to be kept in
    the line chart. In this scenario, we can hardly find out the possibility which cause your problem. But for yourself testing, you can change the type into column or bar chart to see if the data is displayed properly. If possible, please post some information
    about your dataset or some screenshot to us. That may help us reproduce your issue in our local environment.

  • Mouse clicks and path not exporting to flash

    Hey Guys, I've just started using Captivate v5 and all seems to work fine but when I export to Flash CS5, the mouse animates as linear and the click effect doesn't appear. If I preview from captivate the paths and clicks are there. If I click the mouse icon on the slides, they are all set to flash blue circle and straight pointer path is unchecked. The slides do not contain live film either, just screenshots. If I go into the movie in flash, the tween is there but no motion path. Any ideas?  Thanks

    Yeah, when I export to flash it opens the doc as AS3. Also, I noticed the default click effect does work, but when I change to any of the custom ones it gets ignored by flash.

  • Strange mouse click behaviour, (GTK?) buttons don't work

    Hey,
    I have had this problem since the last major upgrade, which included Kernel, Xfce, Xorg. Sadly I can't pinpoint this problem, that's why I wanted to ask if anybody else has the same problem and they have figured out what the cause is.
    Essentially this mostly happens with the Xfce panel, while clicking on a Laucher button. I click on a button, which works, then release mouse1, but then the button seems to be still pressed, as if mouse1 was not released. When the mouse leaves the area, the button "pops up" again, but when hovering over the button again, it looks like pressed again, even though it's not.
    That's not all that bad, but what happened recently, is while using Eclipse some (very random) buttons simply won't work at all. All this while they seem pressed, even though mouse1 has been released. I then have to use the keyboard to activate the button.
    I don't mind the Xfce problem so much, but I need Eclipse for work, and it just can't be the solution that I have to use the Keyboard when a button doesn't seem to work. The problem seems to be limited to button-like (including Tabs) GTK GUI elements. No problem with Qt yet.
    This is a laptop computer, with a normal touchpad and a USB mouse attached to it.
    And my mouse is NOT broken, as I have tested with a number of different mice and even other OSes on the same machine with same hardware configuration!
    Thanks,
    m.

    This may be related to the issue where buttons in Flash embeds don't work. You can probably 'fix' the issue by downgrading gtk2 to 2.16.5.
    ## Actually maybe not. Meh.

  • Changing Mouse Click Behaviour

    Hi,
    I have a requirement where I am displaying list of LinkToURL elements pointing to some URLs.
    Now I want mouse left click to trigger action of "Save Target As" action. (Normally, this is present in "Right Click --> Save Target As")
    Is there any way in Web Dynpro code (or rather any way) to achieve this?
    Thanks and regards,
    Amey Mogare

    Hi Armin,
    Thank you for reply.
    Yes, FileDownload UI element is the one which will be useful for me.
    This URL which I am talking about is pointing to the file located on some other server on same network.
    So I need to first read byte stream from URL and then convert it to IWDResource?
    I was looking for any method that will help me to achieve this.
    Any idea which code might work?
    Thanks and regards,
    Amey Mogare

  • Mouse Click on Polygon not Working

    I am trying to write a code for a simple game so that when I click in a certain area it responds in different ways. I have it set up using a polygon because the code I found used it, and it wouldn't work when I tried using a circle. The problem is that when I add more points to the polygon it starts acting up. What am I doing wrong? Or, if anyone knows how to use a circle instead of a polygon for this can they tell me?

    frame.addMouseListener(null);Change "null" to "this".
    Your object implements MouseListener, but you tell it you have no listeners when you add a null listener, the code you wrote does nothing in that case.

  • Mouse Clicks in Captivate

    I have a number of captivate animations that have mouse
    clicks. However even though I have set and checked all mouse clicks
    the 'click' audio does not consistently work. Is there a trick to
    setting the audio click.
    I am using Captivate V2.0.0 build 1177

    Hi Mike Wald and welcome to our community
    Sorry, but I'm a bit confused by your post. Which is true?
    Are you saying that a mouse click is heard and you don't want
    it to be? If so, take a look at the links below:
    Link One
    Link
    Two
    Or is it that you
    want to hear mouse clicks and are not? In this case, other
    than checking each mouse movement, I'm a bit stumped.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Mouse clicks occasionally stop working

    I am currently deploying a Java Swing application, and sometimes the end-user encounters an unusual problem whereby they open the application and mouse clicks have no effect. The mouse movement is still tracked fine, as buttons and menus get highlighted as expected when the mouse passes over them. I searched for information about this problem, and learned that a work-around is to click the middle mouse button. This does indeed restore the mouse click behaviour and all continues to work fine after that.
    So then I thought I might simulate a middle-button mouse click during my application start-up, in the hope of remedying the problem before any end-user actually sees it. The result is that instead of remedying the problem, I actually cause it to happen every time! The application gets into a state whereby mouse clicks are ignored, and clicking the middle-mouse button restores the mouse click behaviour.
    Has anyone else experienced this problem, and know of a way to prevent end-users from experiencing this problem? Here's some example code that demonstrates the behaviour:
    import java.awt.Robot;
    import java.awt.event.InputEvent;
    import javax.swing.JButton;
    import javax.swing.JFrame;
    public class Main
        public static void main(String[] args)
            JFrame frame = new JFrame();
            frame.getContentPane().add(new JButton("Click Me"));
            frame.pack();
            frame.setLocationRelativeTo(null);
            try
                // Simulate a middle-button mouse click
                Robot robot = new Robot();
                robot.mousePress(InputEvent.BUTTON2_MASK);
            catch (Exception e)
                e.printStackTrace();
            frame.setVisible(true);
    }Note I'm using Java 1.6.0_07. Any help with this would be much appreciated,
    Paul.

  • Why does the Back button require two mouse clicks?

    I've just upgraded to ver. 9 and now the Back button requires two mous clicks/

    I might not have used the word "Normal".  "Typical" maybe.  I suppose "Normal" is acceptable in the context of "SNAFU".
    Wait until you make an edit on one of your own posts to fix a stupid typo, then later look to find the typo back and you can no longer edit it.  And what's up with that messed-up Javascript that shows up at the top of some quoted messages?
    These forums are barely usable, but a bright spot is the color-managed photo attachment capability (i.e., you can upload an image with a non-sRGB color profile and the server will convert it).  I suppose if anything Adobe could have been expected to get that part right.

  • Bing Maps on IE 11 browser, The mouse click event is only working when we have compatibility mode on.

    I have tried out the code in this article in ASP.Net web forms with c#  and javascript.
    I am using Ajax to call the C# from Javascript and load the data from database.
    I have used following article to show the pushpins and there infoboxes.
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/rbrundritt/archive/2013/11/08/multiple-pushpins-and-infoboxes-in-bing-maps-v7.aspx?CommentPosted=true#commentmessage
    My code works great on IE 11 , when I have compatibility mode on,
    but when compatibility mode is off, the mouse click event is not being received by the Javascript function.
    Is this expected behavior of bing maps, Are there any workarounds for this problem?
    Thanks
    Nate
