ZCM 10.3 PXE Menu will not show

Hello, We are running ZCM 10.3. I have the preboot services setting under Configuration - Device Management - Preboot Settings set to "always show menu". When we have workstations do a pxe boot the menu shows up fine and we are able to image the devices. We then reboot and load the Zenagent and we have a policy set to install all agent options but not the imaging services. We have no need to have this feature installed. What we have found is after the agent is loaded and the machines is restarted from that point forward every time we PXE boot that machine we are forced to use the CTRL-ALT key to display the menu even though this has been set to always allow. I have looked the the device settings at every container to verify that this system setting has not been overridden at any level and it has not. We have found that this setting must be written to the MBR or some other location on the disk even though we are not using any zen partitions on the drive. If we wipe this data from the drive the computer will then boot PXE with the menu displayed by default. We have several Dell models displaying this issue but some models never show the symptoms after correcting the issue by destroying the track 0/mbr data. The models are 745, 755, 760, 780 Desktops and D630, D620 laptops. This is a real concern as trying to push the CTRL - ALT keys right at the time needed is tricky at best. You cannot just hold the keys, you have to repeatedly press these to get the menu to display. Why are these settings being written to the drive when they are set to always show the menu? This is our first year using ZCM 10 coming from ZFD 7. We are using and old ZFD Imaging server running on Netware 6.5 until we can migrate to a ZCM imaging server. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a utility or easy way to wipe this data from the drive without wiping the MBR?

I meant why is this happening that I need to press CTRL-ALT when my policy is set to always show the menu? The policy is not fixing this choice forcing us to use the CTRL-ALT sequence.

I have a problem that i hope somebody can solve. When i am publishing my site from iWeb directly to me.com the website is working fine. If i export the website and then preview it in explorer on PC the main menu does not appear for some reason. I would be greatful if somebody could give me an explination on what is wrong? Please!

Where are you "exporting" your site to?
The iWeb navigation menu will not show on a PC running IE if Java is turned off.
You can get round this by "hiding" the standard navigation using the "page" inspector and building your own.

Glitch in Windows 10 about Start Menu when it will not show

I just installed windows 10 on a vm and when I first installed windows 10, I clicked the
Start Buttonand the start menu did not show up. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried:
1. Rebooting
2. Double clicking the button

In build 9926, there is no such option as " Use Start Menu instead of Start Screen " anymore.
As to your Start Menu not showing up, MS is aware of the issue.
In fact, Insider Hub has posted Known issues in 9926. One of the known issue is the Start Menu.

When you boot Windows 10 Technical Preview, the Start menu may not appear. Checking for updates may fix
this problem. To check for updates without the Start menu, do the following:
Select the Internet Explorer icon.

I have backups going back 6 months - I have not had the real need to check every album before - but - all of my backups also have this same problem.

The triangle with the ! indicates that the connection between the thumbnail and the orginal is missing - this can be caused by many things including database corruption and user action emoving the originals photos on urpose or by accident
If the database is corrupted then rebuilding is the solution - backup and depress the option and command keys, launch iPhoto and rebuild your database -- if the iPhoto rebuild does not cure the problem then download iPhoto Library manager and use its rebuild command which creates a totally new library leaving the existing one untouched
If you have deleted the photos then you need to start over with a new library and import the photos you have not deleted into it
You can select one of the problem photos and use the reveal original in finder commander (file menu) to see if the original is there - if it is a finder window will open showing it

I am going to assume you are using Safari here. If so then go to the Apple menu bar and hit Safari-> Preferences. Under the Apperance tab there is a check box that is called "Display images when the page opens". Check if that is unticked.

It sounds like the device drivers for your iPhone are working in Windows, but the phone is not showing in iTunes. You should be able to get that showing again with the steps in this article:

Start with these three steps, and there are more in the article if you need them.
1. Update iTunes
Check that you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer. In iTunes, select "Check for updates" in the Help menu.
2. Check the USB cable
Verify that the 30-pin to USB cable or Lightning Connector to USB cable is free of debris and not damaged. If another cable is available, test with that cable instead.
USB cables that are bundled with third-party products or accessories might support only charging those products (and not transmitting data) or they might work only with the product with which they were sold. Using one of these cables to sync could cause issues. If you are using a third-party case, such as an extended battery pack, try removing the case and connecting the Apple-supplied USB cable directly to your device.
3. Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
iOS devices require Apple Mobile Device Support, which should be automatically installed with iTunes. To verify whether it is installed, follow the steps appropriate for your Windows operating system below.
Windows XP: Click Start and choose Control Panel. Open the "Add or Remove Programs" control panel and verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is visible in the list of currently installed programs.
Windows Vista and Windows 7: Click Start and choose Control Panel. Click "Uninstall a program" (or if using Windows Vista's Classic View of the Control Panel, click "Programs and Features"). Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is visible in the list of currently installed programs.

If Apple Mobile Device Support is not listed, remove iTunes, QuickTime, Apple Software Update, Apple Application Support, and then reinstall iTunes. Follow the steps appropriate for your Windows operating system below:
Reinstall iTunes for Windows XP
Reinstall iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
If after reinstalling iTunes Apple Mobile Device Support is still not installed, follow steps in Trouble installing iTunes or QuickTime for Windows.

Bookmarks menu will not scroll down or select sub-folder

When I select <Bookmark this page>, the Bookmark menu pop-up appears and I can see the see the many sub-folders of bookmarks that I have but I cannot scroll down the list nor select a specific sub-folder.
I am running FF v 8.x on Windows 7. The bookmarks were restored from a .json file generated on an earlier FF version running under XP. On the Bookmarks "sidebar" I can select any sub-folder or bookmark.
To re-iterate, I cannot select bookmark menu sub-folders when attempting to add a new bookmark.

Try going to the following
Tools->Web Developer-> Page Source.
You can also access this by way of keyboard shortcut Ctrl + U
The View Page Source option is also available via the right-click menu by just right-clicking inside the page window & it will be the penultimate menu item.

Internet Toolbar will not show up

So about 4 hours ago i was on my mac and everything was fine...i come home and try to go on to the internet and the toolbar (address bar history ect) will not show up ive done view>show toolbar and nothing shows up but a big grey area

Control-click on the area where the toolbar should be. Do you get the Customize Toolbar item in the contextual menu? If so, select that and in the window that should appear, try dragging the default button set to the Safari toolbar and see if that fixes the problem.
If not, or if you can't get the contextual menu to appear either, I'd suggest you take this issue up in the Safari forum. You'll be more likely to get further help there, since this probably isn't related to your MacBook's hardware as such.

Firefox will not show pinterest

Firefox has started going horribly wrong but the kybosh is Pinterest. It will not show this site at all, no pictures load, I've tried clearing the cache on firefox and deleting everything from the history but all that's done is make it worse! Now I get a very basic menu in times roman down the left hand side of the page. I use Google Mail, firefox doesn't seem to like that any more either. It spends ages waiting for scripts to finish running or just not responding.
I'm using Windows 7, I think, and the latest version of Firefox, it's set to update automatically.
Please help.

You might already have tried this but, if not:
When you have a problem with a particular site that previously worked normally, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
Could you also try Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset)
