Zen 4GB Driver Wont Install HE

When I try to install the drivers for my new Zen 4GB in Windows XP SP2 (with WMP Version ); I get the message when Widows is trying to install the drivers for MTP device. "the specific service does not exist as an installed service". I have the Zen installation CD in the dri've as requested and all of the required Zen software installed. I checked the Device Manager and found the Zen device as recognized but with the big yellow question mark and the advice to reinstall the drivers. I tried to reinstall the drivers like before and experienced the same problems as before. Note installation failed the first time as I had purchased a faulty player. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the Zen software 3 times and get the same message "the specific service does not exist as an installed service" when the drivers are being installed. Sync manager, of course says "no player connected" all the time. I also have Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 with a host of Creative Sound Blaster releated softare on my system. HELP

Driver wont install thinks Im not an ad

I rebooted my OS (windows xp home) and am reinstalling all my software.
When I try to download the driver for my Zen Xtra jukebox, I can download it, but as I start to install, it tells me I don't have access to make the changes, tells me to rerun the install with admin privilegs. The problem is that I do have admin privliges in my profile.
Any have ideas?

Are you THE administrator?
Because if you're not THE administrator but rather part of the administrati've group, there may be some NTFS rights or GPO's that are priorized over the administrati've group's rights.Message Edited by Prosis on 05-06-2006 05:48 AM

Creative zen 20 gig wont install on win 7

)cHello I have the creative zen 20 gig model number hd005, this is now end of life on the creative website and is unsupported by win 7?, is there any way I can install the software so i can synch with my music, somehow had it working with vista but cant get it to work with win 7, dont want to but another player just because it wont synch with win7.

Follow the installation till the EULA screen and press the Internet Connection options link.
Select No, Thanks for both of the options and press OK.
Accept the EULA and continue the installation, that should prevent such hanging within the software update stage.

HELP! Creative Zen Micro driver NOT installing in

Hi all,?I just got this Zen Micro 6gig. My system setup:?MS Windows XPWMP 0?Zen firmware v2.20.05?I installed the CD based driver?for the unit and then rebootedand plugged in the ZEN. Anyways, I plug it into my computer with the USB cable. It pops up'Zen Micro' and then prompts me to install driver. I choose installautomatically but WinXP does not find any driver for it even thoughI installed the driver from the CD. I've tried driver v.30 AND v2.0 and still a NO GO. Is there another way to install these drivers? perhaps direct XP to theactual location so that it can install as prompted?Very frustrating experience...after using Nano mp3 players that just plug n play.

i tried installing from windows/INF and no luck there... the ONLY way it was recognized was when I configured the zen as a 4gig portablestorage dri've and that popped up immediately BUT only as storage!?I've reset it.. done the 'cleanup' stuff.. still no go. My XP install is a standard install, no quicktime and no WMP . what gives?I've looked at all pertinent articles but it doesnt seem like there is one specific fix for this.

Windows 8 (64) Intel HD 4000 driver wont install on x230t

I have installed all the up-to-date drivers on my x230t running Windows 8 (64), but for some reason this one gives me an error:
"The setup program failed to install one or more drivers. Setup will exit"

I downloaded the one directly off the Intel site for their 4000 Graphics chip for windows 8, but its an "older" version.

You have to disable driver signature verification, because these drivers are not digitally signed.
Go to settings-> change pc settings-> general-> advanced startup to get to the boot menu where you can do this.
After the boot menu appears:
Troubleshoot-> Advanced options-> Startup Settings-> Restart
After the new boot menu appears:
Press 7, disable driver signature enforcement.

Volume and screen brightness keys work (but no on-screen display), however Fn+F3 & F5 do nothing, as does the blue ThinkVantage button. Installed drivers via System Update, however every time I get the message "Package did not install - ThinkPad Power Management Driver for SL Series". Power Manager is installed and running but the driver is not listed under Program & Features. I'm guessing the lack of this driver is the problem. Anyone else seen this or have a fix ? Thanks.

Instead, scroll downwards to the version table and have a look at the readme for v3.88.0000. You'll see your machine in the supported list, so you could give that one a try, if you want.

I see that you are having some issues when attempting to install the printer on to your Windows 8.1 computer. If you are connecting the printer to the computer with a USB cable, please make sure the cable is Disconnected while doing the installation.

Save the download to your Desktop so that it creates it's own Icon. This will make it easy to find the download. Click on the Icon and follow the instructions. Please do NOT connect the USB cable until the installation prompts you to do so.

IPhone 6, iOS 8 - Apple Mobile Device USB Driver wont install

Ive just purchased an iPhone 6 from the Apple store. Of course because its the latest model its running the latest iOS (iOS 8.0).
I tried connecting it to my computer with the included USB lightening cable. My computer attempted to install the driver and then the error message appeared "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver install was not successful".
I have tried another USB port. I also tried a solution from a previous similar topic on the Apple discussion threads that suggested uninstalling iTunes & the 3 Apple software additions: Apple Application Support, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support.
Once the above software was uninstalled i connected my iPhone6 via USB to my computer and device manager read it fine. I assumed my issue was resolved so i continued to reinstall iTunes once again. Once all complete i connected once more and the original error reoccurred.
Is this an issue with just iPhone6 models, iOS8 users or is there an underlying problem?

OK. I found my answer, thanks to another posting.
Uninstall iTunes
Uninstall Apple Software Update
Uninstall Mobile Device Service
Uninstall Bonjour
Uninstall Application Support....all in this order.
Clear everything from Trash.
Restart PC
Install latest version of iTunes.
It worked!

Are you running Windows 7 x86 (32bits) or x64 (64bits)?
You should be able to get the drivers from this website: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/imageclass_series/imageclass_d420#DriversAndSoftware
Select your operating system (To find it, Open the start menu, Right-Click on My Computer, select Properties. The system Type will tell you if you are 32 or 64 bits)
Select the driver package and download it. For installation instructions, follow the website:
*Precaution When Using a USB Connection
Disconnect the USB cable that connects the device and computer before installing the driver.
Connect the USB cable after installing the driver.
Driver and application software files have been compressed.
The following instructions show you how to download the compressed files and decompress them.
1. To download files, click [I Agree-Begin Download] icon, select [Save], and specify the directory where you want to save the file. Click [Save] to start the file download.
2. Downloaded files are saved in the specified folder in a self-extracting format (.exe format).
3. Double-click the files to decompress them. A new folder will be created in the same folder. The new folder will have the same name as the compressed file.
4. Double-click the decompressed Setup.exe file to start installation.

HP B110a driver wont install

I have Windows 7 and a B110a printer. Since the lap top needed to be wiped I cant reinstall the driver to the printer. I get to where it is "checking the system" and then just stops.
This is really frustrating and if it means that I have to buy a new printer it will definately not be HP. I've had problems with this printer since day one and this is just the icing on the cake.
Any help would be appreciated

I saw your post about having to reinstall your Photosmart B110a printer however, you are having an issue doing so on your Windows 7 system. I will gladly help where I can and hopefully the frustration will dissipate!
First, test the unit itself. Make a copy or two. If the printer copies fine, the printer is fine and the issue is more software related.
If the copies are good to go, try disabling your firewall and then running the installation. There are two methods you can use to install your printer.
1. HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows
2. HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers Download
If the installation is not successful, try a Clean Boot and run the installation again.
Keep me updated with your results so far and I will check back on our thread!

Driver wont install!

can someone please help me. i am having difficulty in installing the driver for the DKU-5 connectivity adapter cable driver for my nokia 3220. When i think i have installed it it says " not a valid win.32 application"..... does anybody know what this means and how to tackle it. i have also tried downloading one but had difficutly as well,

What version of Windows on your PC (Windows 95? Windows 98? Windows ME? Windows NT? Windows 2000? Windows XP?)?
When you say "tried downloading one but had difficutly as well", do you mean that you had problems downloading, or that you downloaded OK but had trouble installing?
Which version did you download and from where (URL)?

Here Drive+ wont install on lumia 620

I just recieved my new Nokia Lumia 620
On the menu I have the car icon. When I press it it gives me a new screen titled Nokia Drive.
Then at the lower left corner I have a button go to store.
When I press that I go to the store, I get the details of HERE DRIVE+ but in the middle of thescreen it tells me:

T61 Nvidia display driver unattented install error 2147213312

Hi,
I just downloaded latest Nvidia driver for T61.
But how when i try to install it unattented remotelly to other pc from commant line i get error 2147213312.
Older driver version work ok without errors when installing this way.
Why i must install drivers this way is i use Altiris deployment solution to install drivers to new pcs.
i found solution to this but this must be done by Lenovo driver specialist.

However launching the child setup in normal mode with empty command line string works as expected. Found solution to this myself.
Seems that latest nvidia driver version is made different version of installshield.
Laters driver wont install if you are trying to install it fron network path like \\server\drivers\nvidia\setup.exe -n -s
You must make script that first copy files to local disk and then install it from there like this:
XCOPY /S /Y "\\server\drivers\nvidia\*.*" c:\drivers\nvidia\
c:\drivers\nvidia\setup.exe -n -s
i hope this helps someone else who is using altiris or similar.
