I have the standard american Zen Touch 20GB charger/power adapter. What is the power situation in Canada? Can I just plug it into a canadian power outlet or do I need something else? What is Canada's power system rated at? The text on the charger says:
Switching Adapter
Center Positi've (inside contact of the little round thingy)
Input: 00-240V ~ 50/60Hz
Output: 5V at .5A

Canada uses 0, like the USA. Not too sure if the socket is the same, but I'm guessing it is.

About the Zen Touch power adapte

I bought a Zen Touch off Ebay and realized after I bought it, that it didn't come with a power adapter! It does come with a USB cable and they said you can charge it via computer. My question is: Is there any power adapter that can fit the zen touch? Can i just buy it at wal-mart? Or is there another product that has the same tip as the zen touch?

I just sent back my zen touch...what can I expe

After sending my zen touch back when can I expect to get it's I don't really want a generic answer here. I dont want the creative answer but I would like to hear maybe from someone else who has had to send theirs back. I also have 2 other questions if anyone has done this before.
. Do they send me a new unit or my original one?
2. Do they typically not make you pay for the unit if it is a headphone jack issue even if it is after the 90 day warranty?

Anecdotally it takes a week or two, but I can't guarantee that will be the case for you.
. Normally it's a new unit. Don't forget to backup the music on your current player.

Does anyone know if there is a car kit available for the Zen Touch as well as a better carrying case?

There is a silicone sleeve made by Exspect that was intended for the 20GB but because of its stretchability and looseness, it fits the 40GB quite will (may be even better). hi, i have a zen touch, i want to play the mp3 player through my cap speakers but only have a standard cd player in my car ( '99 renault clio) what other car adapters is there? AUX?

What is wrong with the player, exactly? Does it start up? If it can start up and it is recognised on the PC, then you can copy the files back to the PC for back-up.

Have you try using another USB cable to test just in case it's not a problem with the USB connector.

Is it possible Creative pulled the Zen Touch Wired FM Remotes for a redesig

I was thinking of purchasing one of these wired remotes for my Zen Touch...but can't find them anywhere...anywhere here on creatives site and anywhere else online...all say out of stock...would make sense and all since it is Xmas coming up...but after reading all the reviews on this unit and how expensi've it is and how it breaks after a certain amount of months...perhaps creative is pulling them for redesign or something?
would love to buy one...but...can't find one...yet everyone says this thing is crap!

I have recently bought a zen touch (20gb) and i can't figure how to get music from Creative media Source to my Zen. I know how to select all tracks (i have 745) but i can't find the transfer button. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

You can use either the left arrow or the right arrow to transfer, depending on whether you view the content of your MP3 player on the left or on the right. Creative MediaSource is so fliexible that it offers you to view your different music sources in different panels. Apparently, you you may not be aware that you can view the content of your MP3 player in the right panel. Just to to the View Menu and you can select what you want to view in the right panel.

Zen Touch 40GB Cradle for the c

I'd like to set up some sort of cradle system in my car so I can just slide my Zen Touch in. Where can I find such an animal?

I have a Zen Touch, and I just recently got Napster To-Go. It's great. Installed the new firmware, no problem. The only complaint I have is that skipping through protected songs is SLOW. Sometimes it will take like 0 seconds (seriously) to skip to the next song.
That's ONLY with the protected songs with the new firmware. Un-protected songs are fine.

Help transferring music to Creative Zen Touch *PI

Alright I'm having a little trouble tranferring music over to my Zen Touch. If anybody can help me I'd appreciate It. I read that you press the two arrows in the bottom right corner and press the next arrow well here's what I get. Sorry for the bad pictures.

What version of Windows are you running?
Do you have the drivers installed?
Check Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. You should see:
Creative Jukebox Driver
Creative MediaSource
Creative Zen Touch

I had bought Zen Touch 20 Gb and found that the driver is not recognized by PC. Whenever i want to transfer the data, I need to install driver and software in the PC to do so. That's really make me sick!
Here i would like Creative to update their next firmware for Zen Touch so that it can support driverless. Just like a normal external hard disk function.

Check the boards, there is a petition for this already. Add your voice and cross your fingers.

Zen Touch Backli

Just got my Zen Touch yesterday and I can't figure out how to turn on the backlight...or more importantly, is the backlight dead? I have been through the manual and quick start guide and can not find any reference to turning on or off the backlight. I have also searched these forums and could not find anything pertaining to the touch.
For the record: It is fully charged. Does not make a difference if it is plugged in or not. I have tried a reset, both via the menu and the reset button. Nothing seems to work.

If your Zen Touch menu is like the Zen Xtra menu then check
Settings/edit profile/scroll down to Backlight
check your options
The Xtra has an "off" option --- hopefully this is your problem not a dead display.

Creative Zen Touch 40 GB - Problem/Recovery M

I Have a big trouble with this player...
After I would update the Firmware, my pc restartet in the installation process...
and now now iam until in the recovery mode and i cant get out and i didnt have the newstest firmware... it ist the oldest....
No i will start installion new but my pc dont "see" my Zen also with other programs of zen touch...

Zen Touch - loose key-lock but

I bought my Zen Touch last month. When I received it, the key lock-button has already been loose. Now, it falls out of the hole all the time. I have to keep an eye on it to avoid losing it. It bothers me so bad. Does it happen to other Zen Touch ownners? How can I get it fix? I still have the warranty for it's

I have a Touch myself and, luckily, nothing like that happends with mine!
As said, you can contact customer support to see what can be done! Hopefully you'll be able to send it back in to repair or get a new one in return!
