When I bought the device, I thought I could choose to empty the entire player and fill it totally with DATA. to (for example) store a complete DVD (as data ofcourse, I understand the player won't be able to display it)

Oracle 9,2.0 32 bit for Solaris can not access more than 4GB?

I am sorry to ask rather stupid question.
I joined company which has big SUN Fire running Solaris 9 64bit version.
It has system memory 16GB and 8 CPUs.
I found 8GB memory reported as free. It is production box. It is heavy loaded.
I guess Kernel parameter settings for Oracle set too low.
I reported DBA and asked DBA to improve.
My DBA said Oracle 32 bit version was installed and Oracle 32bit can't access more than 4GB system memory.
Is it true that Oracle 9.2.0 32bit for Solaris can not access more than 4GB memory?
32bit CPU and 32bit OS might have problem in access big memory.
But I never heard Oracle 9 running on 64bit Solaris box can not access more than 4GB.
Specially on Sparc 64bit chip and Solaris 9 64bit version.
I searched forums and could not find good answer. I believe it is rather obvious.
Please help me on this. I will be greatly appreciated.

ORACLE can not access 4GB memory.
So, it is true that 32bit Oracle is limited by 4GB RAM.Nope. 32bit almighty anything is limited to (max) 2^32 virtual adresses on a vmm system.
Often there is also some split where memory is divided into system and user areas, where user (program) has e.g. 2 or 3GB. All this works regardless of amount of RAM available 0.5 or 512GB.

As per our business requirement , How can I maintain more than one contact person for a single supplier in SRM?
How these contact persons are supposed to log in to a portal with different user id and passwords and access the bids for same supplier.
we are in SRM 7, and currently we are creating contact person throug customised BDC.

If my Mini is running 64 bit can I run more than 4Gb RAM?

I hear ALL over the place that the mini can not use more than 4Gb RAM.
Is this a hardware limitaion of the motherboard/Processor?
OR
Is this due to the fact that mini's run at 32 bit?

Most of the Minis are limited to less than 4GB and that is a hardware limitation. The newest Mini with the nVidia video can access more. Apple only supports 4GB because they use matched DIMMs, which on paper have a slight performance improvement over unmatched DIMMs. For whatever reason, Apple doesn't yet support 4GB DIMMs in the Mini. (I suspect that the power requirements or prices for the larger DIMMS may have affected Apple's decision.)
If you do have an appropriate Mini, then you can get compatible 4GB DIMMs from [Macsales|http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/mac-mini> or others. Regardless, although I normally trust Macsales, more than 4GB is not supported by Apple, so you have to take that in to consideration. (i.e.: warranty from Apple or Applecare.)

Yes you can maintain the different shipping condition for one customer but for this that SOLD To Party should have different SHIP to Party also as we mainatin the shipping condition for Ship for the party. In other words you can maintain as many shipping condition equal to the number of ship to party.
Other way is if that customer is in different sales area then you can maintain the different shipping conditions for that customer in all the different sales area.

How can I create more than one printer queue for a printer

I would like to have more than one "default" setting for my printer. This is so I can use a 3rd party print utility (fingerprint) to print to a non-airprint printer from my ipad. The utility prints using the default configuration. I don't need to get fancy here. Just "draft B&W' , "normal", and "Color best quality". If I need something else, I can always email the document to my MacBook. The utility has something about a virtual printer, but all I could find about that is that it is used for PDF printing and maybe a workflow.
My technology level: Used to be a programmer, after a decade of retirement, I can't even program an applescript today.

I have a question about transport targets in sld for sap xi 3.0 sp19.
We have a requirement where a business system needs to have two transport targets.In SLD i see that only one transport target can be assigned. Is there any way to assign more than one transport target to a business system?
I know that there can be more than one source for a business system where more than one different business systems have the same business system as the target.
I am not sure if a business system can have more than one transport target .If yes , what is the way to add more than one ?

As far as I know, you would have to change the target everytime you will transport it to a different target e.g 3 target systems = 3 times you change the transport target in SLD.

Can i use more than 4GB memory in my laptop dv6700t if I install windows 7 64bit?

The pavilion dv6700t autodetects as 6853ea. It runs 32bit Vista in 3 GB mem.
I know I can go up to 4 GB using the 2 slots, but can I use more when I install the 64bit version of Windows 7? If so, should I install the memory first, or the OS?

The specs for your notebook state max memory is 4 GB.
However you should be able to install 8 GB with a 64 bit OS, because you have the Mobile Intel 965 chipset.
I would install the 64 bit OS first, so you see the memory go over 4 GB in Windows after you install the memory.

You can add more identities to a single profile.
Go to Tools -> Account Settings -> <your account> and click the Manage Identities button on the bottom right. That's the place where you can add additional e-mail addresses for your account.

How can I define more than one termination character for RS-232 interface communication?

I have to communicate through the PC's RS-232 interface with a microprocessor board. I am using the "Advanced Serial Write and Read.vi" out of the LabVIEW examples and it works on principle.
My problem is the termination character: It looks like I just can set one termination character, EITHER 0xA (so LF / newline) OR 0xD (CR / carriage return), but I have the need to react on various termination characters like "<CR> <LF> <CR> <LF> OK <CR> <LF>" or "<CR> <LF> <LF>"; which I would like to set in a control (this VI will be used in a TestStand sequence).
Is there a way to do that, so that I can set wichever termination character(s) I need? The property node in "VISA configure serial port" just accepts an unsigned integer, nothing else. Sure I can get it running with the timeout - but this is not very nice and extends testing time unnecessarily.

That would be for the write. The poster is asking about the read. For the read you will need to write your own read routine. You will basically need to use a loop and inside the loop use the VISA Bytes at Serial Port to see if there's any bytes available. Read that many bytes, and append them to a string that you build up in a shift register. After concatenation check to see if you've got the termination characters. If so, the read is done. Fairly simple. Be sure to turn off the termination character enable in the VISA Configure.
