Zen vision :M wont display anything when on & computer cannot recogn

my?zen vision :M wont display anything when?i turn it on & my computer cannot recognise it... no my lcd isnt imploded or damaged...
p.s. the buttons wont even glow when on plz help

Are you sure it's turning on? If the display isn't turning on and the buttons don't light up, it sounds like the player isn't powering on at all. Do you hear it playing music?
Have you tried leaving the player charging for a few hours, and then checking if it starts up on the PC? When it's turned on, does the system recognise it at all, does it see an unknown device for instance?

My Zen Vision:M wont connect to my PC after I formatted my PC & reloaded WindowsXP.
Before this it was Ok. Now, when I plug in the usb it detects the player, but the drivers WILL NOT load. It shows up in system--->device manager--->? driver not installed.
I've tried,
-removing creative installation software (which came with the player)& re-installing..
-updating my systems BIOS & USB drivers.
-running regedit & ticking 'allow read' in USB's (as explained in creative troubleshooting)
-turning off my firewall.
I connected it to my sisters computer running Xp & it connected without problems.
Why wont it connect to mine

OK now, I am not the smartest computer dude and this is not the magic cure but it did fix my problem with WMP0 and Creative software not noticing the player and the driver having issues. I was also having issues with a new external hard dri've.
I tried everyhting to fix this thru creative support which did respond to all my inquiries thru email, but nothing worked. I mean nothing. Reinstalling software, WMP0, manually searching for drivers, deleting USB ports so Windows could reconfigure, pulling out all USB peripheals except mouse, BIOS settings and updating drivers on motherboard.
Now here is how I fixed the problem:
I bought a new USB 2.0 PCI card to stick in my motherboard from NEWEGG for 8.99 plus 5 bux shipping. It was a wing and a prayer, it was plug and play and so easy to set up. It auto noticed without having to install drivers, even though a NEC chipset driver set was availbale on the disc provided. It noticed it and said I was good to go. I was still apprehensi've upon plugging my ZEN in , but saw stuff I hadn't seen b4 then went to WMP0 and There she was saying lets play. Creative noticed it tooo and starting DLing tunes.
My external hardri've works great now tooooooooooo.
It was a SYBA USB PCI 2.0 card on NewEgg.com and it got here in 4 days. 4 external and internal port and is 5 star rated by over 60 revieewer that bought the product. If this does not work u are only the 5 percent restock charge and so all u would lose is about a dollar.

And no I do not work for SYBA, but just so happy that I finally got all my stuff to work. Seems a lot of people out there have the same exact problem as I did.

Zen vision isnt detected by anyth

for a brief moment everything was fine (was using x64), i updated the firmware to the latest, then mediasource crashed and now my zen vision (new) just isnt being detected by windows media player or the mediasource software. i've since updated everything i can (and gone back to using xphome) but still it wont work - i cant install the zen vision pack 5.00.8 update because it wont detect it
the really wierd part is it appears under device manager as working normally, and when i connect it, windows asks whether id like to sync it with media player or media explorer.

ok nevermind, i've solved it - for those interested i took the battery out of it for a minute as a last resort before packing it back up - i spent 5 hours trying to ge this to work and thats all i needed to do?!?! damyn.

When I turn it on it just says Creative on the screen and wont do anything!How do I contact local tech support if I cant be helped through this thread?

I'm having the same problem. Mine has frozen at the Creative screen and today I sent a message to Tech Support (states response time is about 24 hours). There's a link on the website for troubleshooting problems with MP3 players. Just click on that and go through their troubleshooting. At the end of that, it will ask if that helped or not, if it didn't click on no which will lead you to the screen to send an email to Tech Support.

My player used to be able to connect fine to my computer however now it doesnt recognise it at all. Windows media player is installed, I tried all 6 USB ports with no success and it doesn't appear in device manager. I have also tried on a different computer with th same results. This has only started happening recently. When I attempt to plug the player in it turns the player on, then turns itself off after the idle time kicks in. I tried fully reformatting the player, it still doesnt work and now i am left with an mp3 player without any songs on which I cant put any songs on. I have already tried emailing customer support but the page appears to be broken. I am getting mighty fed up with this as I don't have the money to fund a new mp3 player.
Any help would be appreciated,

having nearly the same problems with my ZEN V 2GB.
After first install the player is recognized normal but if i plug it off and on again to the usb cable it isn't recognized anymore.
In the device manager i see the zen but an error message that it couldn't be started (code 0).
things i have done: deinstalled and reinstalled software, got newest firmware, tried every usb port.
having media player on the pc. tried to return to an earlier version but i couldn't roll back.
as i see the problem might be the usb port or the software. for myself charging times are very long. took me 5hours to get it fully loaded. might be also the same thing.
creative support is hard to reach because the site seems to be broken. but i get a confirmation e-mail that it will take -3 days....i hope tomorrow there will be help

ZEN V wont display anything

Hi I just bought my Zen V about 2 weeks ago.
The problem is that, nothing shows up on the screen...
The buttons still flash blue after every 5 seconds and I can hear music !!
but there is no display.
The screen appears black...

When I tilt the Zen V, i think i can see a red screen, its all red. idk maybe its the reflection of the light,
do u think that charging the zen V, will do anything?
because, it can connect to the computer..
when i connect the zen v to the computer, do i recieve a sign that prompts me and tells me wether i should add music files or not.
So, i know for a fact, that it can connect to the computer. and i kno that its not completely broken because the buttons flash in blue. The only problem is the display...

My ipod wont display anything, just a black screen.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

Labview wont install anything when I try to install it.

So I had labview before but i had to get rid of it to make space on my computer and i accidently deleted some files in the NI folder before i unistalled it, it didnt unstall it correctly when i went to unistall the program. I have tried everything to get rid of all the NI files on my computer including using CCleaner to try and clean out my registry. I need to reinstall Lab View but i cant since it will run the installer and then not install anything probabaly thinking its already installed.

You're probably aware of this already, but Windows is quite fond of hiding things from users.
Do you have explorer set to show hidden files and folders?
There is also National Instuments program data stored in C:\ProgramData\National Instruments that is normally hidden.
Also some in C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\National Instruments
And personal settings stored in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\National Instruments
and C:\Users\%username%\Documents\LabVIEW Data
All of these locations are normally hidden when browsing for files to protect the user from themself.

My creative cloud wont display anything!

im only trying to download a trial of photoshop, i have a creative cloud account but when i open it there is nothing. have already tried unistalling it and reinstalling. using windows 7

Applet wont display Chinese when in a browser, but will in Appletviewer

I am trying to display an applet in a browser, however the chinese characters in the applet come up as ???. The chinese characters display correctly in appletviewer. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

I would have said it was the database straight out, but the fact that you're actually having the question marks display makes me think that it's the font you're using. AFAIK, the standard Java fonts are incapable of displaying CJK characters in a browser (I've tried before with the florin character, a cursive "f" that represents the Dutch monetary symbol, and had similar problems). You might have to try carrying a font with you and calling it by name or something.
If you're dead sure it's not the font, then it has to be the encoding screwing up on the way over from the database, but I'm not terribly up to scratch on that type of thing. ;)
Brian, was that bug where calling createFont() on a TrueType font leaving a copy of the font in your temp directory fixed in 1.4? Maybe it would be possible to carry a CJK-capable TrueType font around, call it by URL, and force users to have the Java1.4 Plugin?

My Start Up Disk is Full and I can get no acces to anything when the computer starts

The computer turns on and I can get no acces to anything. It display a message "Your Start Up Disk is Full" and comes to a white screen. I can only move the mouse but there is nowhere to click.
How can I delete any files, so the computer can come back to life?? Is there any way I can acces those files??
I'm using 250GB and this Mac has 500GB total memory.

Supposedly one can hold the Shift key down while booting (Safe Mode) and that's supposed to allow one to boot the machine when the startup disk is full.
Step by Step to fix your Mac
If that works, then use a storage drive (not TimeMachine) to move excessive files too likely starting with Movies (large and easy) or iTunes supscirptions downloads which have gotten out of control.
Most commonly used backup methods
Another method is to create a boot drive on a external drive, this then will allow one to option key boot the computer and remove files off of the internal drive, allowing the free space needed for OS X to swap stuff to the drive and operate.
Create a data recovery, undelete boot drive
Now for some reason it takes rebooting the original drive to get OS X to recognize there is free space available again, so reboot the machine normally (no Shift key). Just saying that because you may be wondering how come it does't register when you delete stuff later.

Zen:Vision problems.

My zen:vision will only display the loading mode(when you turn it on), never reaching the main menu. I'm unable to turn it off. It's just frozen until the battery goes out!... Is there anything I can do?...or should I send it back?

Please enter recovery mode and perform a Clean Up & Reboot.
Additional suggestions:
Just to make sure that the contents are not causing the player to freeze, you can try formatting the player. Enter recovery mode and select Format (All). Note that doing this will erase all the files in the player.
If you have not already, do connect the player to another computer to see if the same problem occurs.
