Zero Dollar orders- Credit Management

We have requirement in regards to "Zero" dollar orders.
End user is requesting that all orders with net value of "Zero" do not hit VKM1- Block Order screen
via Credit Management.
How to do this ? Is this stnadard config ? Or do we need development ?

Hello
If it different sales document type, go to customisation sales document type - in the field 'check credit limit - remove D.
Also in the item category customisation , remove credit active tick.

  • Item credit price changed in Sales order - credit management.

    Dear Friends,
In Sale order item change log shows ' item credit price changed' . Item credit price  comes from 'Total ' value line in pricing which is the sum or prices and taxes. But where as none of prices and taxes that contribute to this total have been changed,  the change long shows item credit price as changed from a value to other .
This sale order has many items and for most items same is the case. For some items it looks like quanity got confirmed eventually through back order or availability check from VA02. The  change log for the document also shows 'credit released value' also as changed.
User wants to know how item credit price which is nothing but total value line is shown as changed when none of the prices and taxes have been changed
Could someone throw light on this?
    Regards
    Mahesh.

    Hi Murali ,
First, Thanks for the reply .
In this issue what happened is,  after couple of items  added, the sales order was released for credit check. Later changes have been made to this credit released document either by way of adding new items or by confirming the availability check for some items . Because of this change log is showing ' realeased credit vlaue' as changed from certain vlaue to the other . How this could have affected change in item credit price    which is coming form toal value line which is nothing but netvalue ( price -disccount+ taxes assingend with subtoal 'A' ) ?
What exactly is the concept of released credit value and its relation to item credit price ?
As per releasing the document that is not a problem but user's request is he  wants to know why this is happening .
Please help me in understanding this better.

  • Credit Management not activated in Delivery Order

    Hi,
I've made relevant configurations in SPRO such that during the creation of sales order, credit management is activated. A warning message popup to warn user of the credit exceeded.
However, during delivery order creation, such warning message does not get popup.
I'm using the simple credit checks. In spro->sales & distribution ->basic functions->credit management->assign sales docs & delivery docs-> credit limit check for delivery types, i've set the relevant delivery type to have credit group 02 (Delivery) & 03 (PGI). Under the item cat for delivery order, i've also checked the active credit checkbox.
    Any config i've missed out?
    Thanks
    Regards,
    HweeLing

    Hi,
According to your reply, I can only set credit checks popup message at only 1 place - Either sales order OR delivery order?
Does it mean that if i have the check in sales order, I cannot have the same popup message in delivery order?
Currently, i have the popup message in sales order.
I do not want to block delivery order. I only want a warning message thats all.
    Thanks

  • Open Sales Order Values in Credit Managment

    Hi,
    1. I want to include the open sales orders that were created before implementing the functionality of  Credit Managment.  How to check the credit limits for that sales orders.
Fro Example. If i want do the credit checks for 1000 open sales orders.
    2. How to reset the customer credit limit in FD32. I tried using the t.code f.28, but it will not be reset to zero(0).
    Thank you,
    Ravi

    Hello Ravi,
You can try this: in table VBAK, you might have the date when this a particular order was created( ERDAT or sometihng like that..). You'll have to join table VBAK/VBAP/VBRK(billing table)/VBFA and the logic should be that the program should pick up all the orders created before 1 yr and should also check that the items are not rejected, and the delivery not yet created.
    Check the following fields:
    VBAK-ERDAT, VBAP-ERDAT, VBAP-ABGRU, VBAP-AEDAT.
    Regards,
    Raghu.

  • CO-PA, is credit management suppose to block orders from posting to CO-PA?

We are currently using CO-PA to track the $ amount of sales orders that were booked for a particular date range, and it will show the sales order created or changed and the $ amount that was added or taken away from the bookings for that day.  This report is to show management how much sales has been recorded for the day, but not necessarily shipped out yet.
What we are currently facing is problems with credit management blocking the order from posting into the CO-PA tables.  When the order is created and the order desk hits save it first goes through credit management, and if it is put onto the blocked order lists to be released it does not post the value that was created for that day into CO-PA.  Also when we run our rescheduling report for orders that have already been created the order can again go back and forth on and off credit hold, and each time it posts an entry into CO-PA.
I was wondering if anyone has been requested to have a report written to record bookings of sales for a particular day, and have you run into the issue of the credit management posting over and over onto the report and how do you get around this.
We just want to see if any new orders have been created for that day, if current orders have been added on to or taken off from, and have a report to show the order #, dollar value and quantities.
    Thank you,
    Karen Kim

    Dear Karen,
You cannot see blocked SD documents for credit check in CO-PA. Values are transfered to CO-PA after the sales order is processed or after the billing document is posted.  So if the sales order is not
processed because it is blocked for credit check, naturally it will not be transfered to COPA. The logic to exempt orders on credit hold was implemented in release 40A.
To overcome your problem you may implement the modification described in the note 214059. Please be aware that this is a modification note. Please implement in a development environment first and retest.

  • Sales Order Line Items User Exit - Credit Management/ Exposure Calculation

    Hello Folks
I am looking for a solution to a peculiar problem we have in credit management.
In case of Drop Ship sales order life cycle, the system automatically creates two line items per sales order - one each for Freight and Handling Fees. these are NOT relevant to schedule line delivery, nor are they billed to the customer along with the material billing. The default update rule for credit control area concerned is 12. The system, on finding line items not relevant to schedule line delivery automatically switches from rule 12 to 18. This leads to Open Deliveries field (S067-OLIWW) being updated instead of Open Orders (S066-OEIKW) on saving the sales order.
Once the sales order is billed for the material, the system should logically display net value as zero for the open order (as the 2 lines of fees and freight are not yet billed, the order is still open). But the system considers this figure at SALES DOCUMENT HEADER level and considers the net value as the total value of the sales document (including the material that is already billed).
What I am looking for is if there is an exit available whereby the system considers only those line items whose billing status indicator is "not complete". As such, the net value should be updated to the S067-OLIKW field net of the billed items.
Please advise if there is any such user exit available. Also, is there a way to customize this? We are exploring this at our end, but would appreciate an expert advise. Right advise will be awarded with brownie points

VKM1 uses FM SD_ORDER_CREDIT_RELEASE to release orders on credit.

  • Sales Order Confirmed qty set to zero even without credit check at SO level

    Hi
Credit management is implemented and dynamic credit limit check has been assigned only for delivery doc types for blockig PGI.
There is no credit limit check assigned to sales order types as per the customers requirement.
However, we came across a scenario where, the confirmed quanties in a sales order were set to zero even though stock was available for the materials and no credit block at SO level.
The issue was however resolved by going into change mode of sales order>edit> check availability. The schedule lines for all the materials were confirmed.
Unable to figure out why the schedule lines were not confirmed even though stock available.
Checked the routiine 101 in OVB8 but it only applies if credit limit check active at sales order level.
Also checked 'conf.block' for 01-credit limit check in OVZ7 but even this applies if credit limit active at sales order level.
Note: This happened only once. The same scenario was tested in Quality system and there the schedule lines were confirmed even when the customer exceeded the credit limit.
Please let me know if I hav overlooked anything that needs to be checked.
What could be the reson for the items not being confirmed when the order was created?

    Hi Vinayak
    Thanks for your response.
As you said it migt be bcos of the conf block at OVZ7, but the F1 help for that says that it applies when there is a credit limit check related delivery block in the sales order.
However, in my case, there is no credit check assigned at sales order level.
And also when I tried to recreate the scenario by creating an order for a customer who had exceeded the credit limit, it didnt delete the confirmed qty from the schd lines even after saving.
ANy possible reasons other than credit check conf block that could have led to schd lines not being confirmed inspite of sufficient stock??

  • Credit management not updated for the first credit blocked order only

    Hi experts,
    Pls help to solve. Thx.
Case: The first sales order is created against credit block because the credit limit is exceeded. In FD33, no credit data related to the first order indicates, i.e. credit limit used shows zero as well as sales value, credit exposure. In VKM1, the blocked order can be captured.
As long as the second order is created, the credit management can be updated. But, it still does not capture the data from the first order.
The sales orders I test have the same delivery date.
    Questions:
    1. Is the standard behavior for the dynamic credit check?
    2. If not, how to make credit management consider the first order data?
PS. In OVA8, update 000012 is applied while horizon is 4 months.

    Hello Jonathan,
After testing, I found credit management can consider the first order data if using 000018 only. Why 000012 cannot consider it?
I have checked the explanation for those two update groups by F4. I feel obscure about the explanation of sales order between them (see below).
    000012:
    Sales order
Increases open order value from delivery-relevant schedule lines
    000018:
    Sales order
    Increases open delivery value
By the  way, my testing data as below:
    1. were the two sales orders of the same document type? Answer: yes. Same document type, same customer, same delivery date, etc.
    2. were the item categories the same? if not, was one not relevant for credit check? Answer: Yes, the same.
    3. did the documents have the same value? if the second order had a lower value and was not blocked for credit, the exposure will be updated. Answer: yes, credit management can consider the second order data ONLY. It seems the first order have not been created if checking credit management.

  • Credit Management: How to include back orders value in credit exposure?

    Hello,
We have to have credit management implemented for some sales order types.
Credit exposure is working fine with normal sales orders.
But credit exposure is not taking into consideration the value of backorders which are present prior to credit management was implemented (with horizon period of 2 months).
Please let me know how we can include the value of back orders in credit exposure?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

  • List of released sales orders which were blocked during credit management

If sales order is blocked during credit management, then it is released by Authorised person using VKM3 Tcode. Further if we want to see list of released documents, VKM2 shows the same. However VKM2 does not shows the released documents once that are billed (using VF01). Suppose post billing one wants to see how many orders were released during specific period, how it can be seen. Is there any transaction code to see such records.
    Vijay

You can use V.23 to view the report. The report will show you what sales order is ready for release for billing.

  • Unconfirmed line items of a sales order into account in credit management

    Hi Gurus
Updated the customer orders via prog. RVKRED09.
There is only one open order for this customer = 720662. My question is: in the credit master the sales value/credit exposure is USD 77.100,00. The order is for USD 105,900.00 .
Found out that line item 20 is not confirmed in the schedule lines. So the value in the sales value/credit exposure  equals item 10 and 30. So my 1question is: Where is the setting that  does not take unconfirmed line items of a sales order into account in credit management?
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Nalini Iyer

    Hi nalini
Even though , you create a sales order for that line item , but if that item is not confirmed then the value  wont be considered.  into credit exposure. .
But once it gets confirmed then the value will be taken into credit exposure..

credit control area and credit account is updated but the other order's did not update with this information.
I can see the Credit account dispay in that Sales Order which got updated but the other orders are giving the message "Cannot display credit limit as no credit management account is available"
Please let me know how to fix the other Sales orders Credit accounts, these all orders have same Payer and we have issue in the Consolidate billing of these orders and all these orders have subsequent documents like Delivery and Invoice.

  • Confirmation qnty in sales order with credit Managment

Hi    SD Experts very Good Morning ..
Generally in OVB8-- 101 Requirement and 1 Routine   controls , once customer crossed his credit limit automatically Confirm qnty become zeo and and once we release that document in VKM3 Again confirmed qnty will be active mode for the customer .... this is sap Function  once we removed 101 routine it wont work like this
    But ....
In this link clearly mentioned in sales order -- Fixed qnty/date one field is there if we activate also system confirms stocks 0 in case credit limit customer crossed his limit
    http://monicaradytia.wordpress.com/2014/02/21/fixed-quantity-and-dates-in-sales-order-document/
So both functionality is same ... a bit confused sir
    please share your dynamic knowledge
    Thanks a  lot

The routine which you are suggesting is prerequisite to update MRP.
(please dont mix this with credit management--that is a different concept all together)
    Fixed date & Qty:
this indicator you can check at transaction level or at configuration level(by default for your sales area)
The purpose of this indicator is How to confirm or assure your customer(there by he can assure to his consumer)
Once you activated this indicator means at transaction level/(or Default for your sales area):
    At customer level:
You are assuring your customer that you will give the required Goods on this specific date.(here the customer priority is not the Question)
    At Business level:
After activation of this flag, your MRP will be updated and in case if you are rescheduling all your sales orders--this order will be skipped from others--so MRP department need to plan/Procure/Produce these goods on the specific date mentioned.
As far as i know these two are completely different in their respective Properties.
Needless to mention here--whether you are confirming or not ,still you can update MRP by using delivery Blocks concept.

  • Unallocated sales order is out of Credit management

    Dear gurus
On credit management, if inventory is NOT allocated to sales order
(Ex. No inventory at storage location),
warning or error message show up even if the credit amount is
    exceeded the limitation.
After created sales order without inventory allocation, then inventory
is  allocated later,  and error message show up
as delivery, because the credit amount is exceeded the limiation.
What is the concept of SAP behind this logic?
Why SAP doesn't count unallocated sales order to credit management?
    Y.Kaneko

if i understand you correctly, you need to know why an order does not have a allocated stock if it is credit blocked, & why does the order goes back to credit hold when it is released & availbility check is carried out.
from a credit management view, allocation of stock to a blocked order is not followed in business, lets take a logic example if you have 100 qty in stock & u have order for 80 qty from a customer on normal scenario you will have this order confirmed, but since he is on credit block, the confirmation for him will not happen, there is no point in reserving the stock for a credit blocked customer, if at all it happens you may not be able to confirm a new order for 70 qty for a customer who is of cash sale type.
next order going back to credit hold after confirmation : this may be a scenario in material determination, you might have entered say $5 manually for a material & you had saved the document that will be of $5 value, once you release the order ( you will release the value as $5 against the order), now the determined material will have a condition record of $6 & hence will go for a block,( means if the manually entered price is lesser than the condition value) you will have the order going for block again.
let me know if my understanding on your question is right
