Zif/fpc 30 pin connector & 2.0 pitch SMD connector 4 pin

Hello...
I'm working on a project which would incorporate a few connectors which I haven't found in the database;
2.0 pitch connector 4 pin (shown as 6 pin in the pdf, but it should really be 4 pins)
http://www.buy-display.com/download/connector/ER-CON2.0-4P-SMD.pdf
0.5 pitch zif/fpc 30 pin connector
http://www.buy-display.com/download/connector/ER-CON30HB-1.pdf
It seems to be very time consuming to make the last one by hand...
Would really appreciate if someone could find or make at least the last one, or tell how I can make those pretty fast.

Hi there,
You can start by creating a custom footprint  in Ultiboard. Here you can find a step-by-step tutorial on footprint creation.
After this you can simply create the symbol for the part in Multisim using the Component Wizard (Tools menu). Create a layout only component and select the footprint you created in UIltiboard. Furthermore, you can customize the symbol in Multisim. Here is a reference on creating components in Multisim.
Hope this helps.

    JWensley,
Sorry to hear about the trouble with the PIN! Let's get you past that so you can complete the transfer process. Are you receiving that PIN by pressing the # key as outlined here: http://vz.to/1zINyY8 . Is this the initial backup on the old device?

I want to place a map pin in ios6. I place the pin in a rural area without a street address. I added it to a name in my contact book which does not have an address entry and the pin moved 40 miles to a different location. Not even the same zip code. Can I have a drop pin without an address? That way if I select a Contact entry it will still come up on the map in the right location.
    thank you

  • Installed Connector - now can't use a PIN login or save RDP credentials...

I use my live account to logon and because the password isn't easy to use each time I logon I prefer to use a PIN.
Now this working perfectly till I decided to install Windows Server 2012 R2 Connector on my main desktop.  Now it says my sysadmin has disabled this setting and would need to change it.
Also, now when I try to remote into the server, I can no longer save my password.
I want my main PC working as it has been before the connector.  I've already uninstalled the app and removed the PC from the list of PCs on the server.  How do I revert back all settings?

    Hi,
Good to hear that and thanks for your feedback.
    Best regards,
    Susie

  • Pin 20 of SCXI-1166 DSub connector

Pin 20 of SCXI-1166 D-sub Connector is assigned as Ground. Does this ground connects to the SCXI Chassis?
Can I use this Pin 20 for signal wire shielding purposes?

    Hi Naushad,
Pin 20 of the SCXI-1166 connects directly to the SCXI chassis ground.  You can use Pin 20 for signal wire shielding purposes.  Remember, the usual rule is to only ground one end of the shield.  If it is grounded at both ends then a difference in ground potential could cause a current flow through the shield and hence introduce noise.

  • G60 (WA573UA) - Zif Connector for Power Button ribbon connector

Anyone know the best place to find a zif connector for a G60 (WA573UA) laptop that connects the power/wireless button rubbon to the system board?  I can post a picture if needed.

There is really not a market for them. The best way is to find a parts motherboard on ebay.

  • What does pin 1 do on the docking connector? (iPod won't sync with AVIC-D3)

My wife's 5th Gen iPod stopped working with her AVIC-D3 header in her vehicle. I can connect other iPods of various generations and they work just fine.
This has gone back to Best Buy (its still under extended warranty) five (yes, 5) times and they never fix anything. They do come up with different reasons it doesn't qualify for the "lemon" clause in said warranty - but thats not your problem . So it came back from visit number five and they replaced the battery... nice of them but couldn't find anything else wrong. This time when we took it up there to say "still not working" (so return number six) they were much more accomodating (I just moved to a new city, so I was refreshed to see that customer service isn't entirely dead) and plugged it up to their display stereos and docks there at the Geek Squad station and it worked just fine. They didn't have an AVIC connected - these were all the "two line display" stereos. So in their eyes, its the header (which again, will sync with every other iPod in the world). I brought it home and started looking it over - the first pin in the output socket (pin 1 on the left with the white face up) was simply not there. So I took it back to Best Buy and they said that it was a ground wire and would not impact the player or the way it syncs up.
Depending on which pinout diagram I look at on the web, its either a ground or a firewire pin. While I can't see the ground doing much (but I'm by no means an expert), the firewire is a definate maybe.
So since Best Buy won't help, I thought I'd try to reverse engineer this thing. +If I can figure out if the missing pin is vital, then I can go back (again) and make a case for it.+ Can anyone confirm if this is a ground wire or a firewire pin thats missing (or something else)?
    A couple of quick facts:
    Its a 5th Generation iPod Video (30GB)
It powers up and charges via the USB cable on a PC and will play if connected to a desktop dock or two line car stereo
If connected, the D3 does not acknowledge it at all
It used to work with this header
While connected, there is no indication in the iPod display that it has external power and I can freely navigate the menus (it normally shows the Pioneer logo)
My iPod Classic works using the same cable with no problem
A friend's iPod 5.5 Generation works fine using the same cable
It is at the latest firmware
I reset it with no change
Any help is appreciated - thanks!

Hello and Welcome to Apple Discussions.
    1. Could you give some specific details of what does and doesn't happen when youy try to sync. Do you have Auto-syncing, or are you manually managing music?
    2. You don't need to enter these. Go into Settings > WiFi > and switch WiFi on. Then pick your SSID (network name) from the list that appears. Enter your WEP key/password or WPA password.
The router details etc should be filled in automatically.
    cheers

  • I saw the diagram with the pin numbers on the CB-68LP connector block, but I need to know what each of those pins mean if I'm connecting it to a PCI-6023E DAQ board as well as a H5784 Photosensor?

We are acquiring light readings from the H5784 photosensor and analyzing them in LABVIEW. We are using the light level readings from LABVIEW to turn off or on a Masterflex pump using a relay based on the light levels.

This pinout is in the M Series compiled help file (chm) which you can find here:

  • Can I connect iPod (with dock connector) with just a USB connector?

My mother-in-law gave my daughter her old iPod (with dock connector). It was supposed to come with an adapter that converts the 6-pin firewire cable to a USB cable (you are supposed to plug the 6-pin into the dock connector to charge it, then use the adapter to connect to your computer). We never got The adapter, so I just used USB connector from my own iPod nano to connect the old iPod into the computer. All kinds of error messages. I've now restored the iPod and it seems to be working, but I'm afraid to plug it back in using just the USB cable. Is it possible to connect the USB cable directly from the iPod to the computer without the adapter? Or could the problem be that I have also use my iPod nano on this computer? Thanks for any help you can provide.

A 15GB iPod would have to be a 3rd gen iPod.  It has a touch (not click) wheel with four touch buttons in a row that glow orange during use, correct?  That model needs to be connected using FireWire, because it cannot charge over USB.
If your new Mac has a Thunderbolt port, you can get an adapter for FireWire
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD464ZM/A/apple-thunderbolt-to-firewire-adapte r
plus an adapter for FireWire 800 to FireWire 400
    http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Other%20World%20Computing/FIR1369AD/
Another way, if you have the square white FireWire power adapter that came with your iPod, is to get a special docking cable that Apple used to sell a long time ago.  It has both USB and FireWire connectors.  Here's a listing for a third-party version on eBay
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Vanco-iPod-Dock-Connector-to-1-USB-1-FireWire-Cable-/2 71074766489?pt=US_MP3_Player_Chargers_Cradles&hash=item3f1d50ae99
(Search on "FireWire USB iPod docking cable" to see other listings.)
What you do with this thing is plug the USB connector to your Mac's USB port, the FireWire connector to the FireWire power adapter, and the dock connector to the iPod.  iPod can then sync over USB while getting power over FireWire.
I would go with that special cable, to avoid using a series of adapters (which adds complexity and unreliability) and tying up the valuable Thunderbolt port for just your iPod.

  • 30 pin adapter on iphone 4 has broken pins, 30 pin adapter on iphone 4 has broken pins

The pins inside the 30 pin adapter are damaged, i cant charge my iphone and it wont switch on. Is this fixable?

I already stated you could use a 3rd party repair site, try http://www.iresq.com or if you want to do it yourself try http://www.ifixit.com. Or look for a local 3rd party repair site. Apple only does the replacement they do not repair dock connectors.

  • Replacing 1st Gen dock connector with 3rd Gen dock connector?

The dock connector on my 1st Gen iPod Touch has stopped working, and i have an old 3rd Gen iPod Touch lying around that appears to be broken beyond repair. Provided that a simple cleaning will not clear up the problem, will swapping the 3rd Gen's dock connector for the 1st Gen's be possible?
Since the male end of the cord is universal throughout models, i am assuming that the only problem might be to get the thing to fit.
But if any other potential problems may exist it would be helpful to know about them, before i take this thing apart.
I don't intend on spending any money on this iPod, as i am getting an iPhone as soon as possible. This is simply meant to be a temporary fix since i have no other portable music player at the moment.

The screws appear to be in the same place however, and the 3rd gen metal housing appears more compact than the 1st gen housing.
So there may be a spacing issue if you are trying to put the 1st gen into the 3rd gen, but not the other way around.
A potenial problem would be with the connections to the logic board. It would be helpful if anyone knows the specifics. Maybe i'll look up the company etched into the housing.
Thanks for the links by the way, they look useful if i it ends up working.
Edit: Actually, i have no clue what is holding the 1st gen's connector on. In the place of screws it appears they have some sort of pins. That may prove to be an issue
