ZIP code override on Payment info

Hi Anyone:
have dead ended with both email attempts to Itunmes supprt and actually nice (but ultimately non helpful despite case #'s etc.) live people in Access telephone support. Trying to update just new exp date on card ( all other info stays same) but secondary screen (makes u pick a county for tax purposes) forces an override to the zipcode ( from some table i guess) and causes a mismatch with my card data...and blocks any purchases, attempts to add $, etc. Anyone run into this? Or have another # where I can try a live body one more time? Any help will be appreciated.

I have had the same problem now... but I think I know why for me anyways. On July 1, my zip code changed and my bank switched to the correct zip code. However many sites on the internet don't recognize my new zip code as being valid. When I plug in the new one it says my address doesn't appear to be in the US, but if I plug in the old one it says the address doesn't match bank records. So I'm going to have to call technical support and make sure they get the zip code correct, or just wait until they add the new zip code.

    1) Is it a video clip? Something you recognize?  To be clear, it's displaying at a point in your exported movie but doesn't appear at all in the sequence?
    2) What are your sequence settings?  Right-click your sequence and choose "Item Properties" to verify.

  • Cannot update CC info--says zip code is wrong but won't save!!

    I just moved and when I went to buy a song in itunes it said my zip code doesn't match the bank info. So I go into my account and update the info with my new address so it matches my bank info and I press done and go back to buy a song and it gives me the same message. When I go back into my account again, my old address is there. This happens NO MATTER WHAT I DO--I tried adding a new CC, tried switching my payment info to Paypal. Whatever I do, it says it takes it, but if I go to buy a song, it goes back to my old account info. WHAT DO I DO??? I have been trying to buy this one song for 30 minutes!~!

    I would try switching your Payment Method to "none" and then signing out of your account completely (Store menu > Sign Out). Then, sign back in and go to enter your CC info again. You might want to contact your financial institution to see if they've switched your billing address over in their systems yet. If they goofed something, it might explain why iTunes is rejecting your info.

    I am trying to set up my new Iphone 4 and download apps.  I made an Apple Id which is all good.  But when I try and enter in my credit card info it keeps asking for my Zip code and state.  I live in Canada not US.  I changed the phone to Canadian but it still keeps asking for it and won't let me put in my right information which in turn won't let me download any apps.  Can anyone help?

    Postal & Zip codes are same.  Just enter postal code without space.  It will accept.

    The old rule of thumb was to keep 10-12 GB free. Any lower than that and you will start to have trouble. I was very close to that for a long time and never had any complaints. Now, Lion "encourages" 20% free space (on my newer 250 GB drive) so I try to keep it with more than 50 GB free.
    Do you still have the original memory in that machine too? The metal plate you have to remove in the battery compartment also provides access to the RAM. Your machine will take 2 GB of RAM, possibly 3. You definitely want to max that out too.
    Regardless, you definitely need a new hard drive. When Apple switched to PC components, they had to take a quality hit. These 2.5" notebook hard drives are not very reliable. I'm surprised your hard drive hasn't died by now. I usually get a new hard drive with every major OS upgrade. A $ 50 investment every couple of years is no big deal.
    Unfortunately, you (and I) suffer from being an early adopter in 2006. Those 32-bit machines only accept 2 GB RAM (maybe 3) and are only 32-bit so they can't be upgraded to Lion. Because of this limitation, you won't see as dramatic an improvement as you would with a 2007 machine. If you run more than a couple of applications, your hard drive is always going to have to be doing some VM work. My 2006 machine has even lost its bluetooth. I gave it to my brother. My very similar 2007 Macbook is still running great.
    So, you must get a new hard drive because your old one is likely on death's door. If you don't have at least 2 GB - get it. If you can't afford a new machine, you might want to consider an SSD. That might help mitigate your RAM limitations. You can spend from $ 100 to $ 350 and get a dramatic speed improvement.

    I had the same problem, it was asking for my security code and never was accepted. What I did is:
    Open iTunes - Go to Store -> View my account -> Enter the password
    Click Edit in the Payment information section
    It will ask for your security code, click on the NONE button and then DONE. It will say that you do not have any credit card on file anymore.
    Click Edit again in the Payment Information secction and enter the correct credit card and click DONE.
    It will store the new information and then you can use the correct security code in your IOS devices.

    Did you enter the last three digits on the back of the card for Visa or Master or the 4 digit # on the front of Amex?

    Not an urgent question, however I would like some help.
    EA Games ran a great promotion over the holidays that offered free iphone/ipod and ipad games. I won a few but have not been able to access the games due a weird bug. Everytime I attempt to redeem the code on my iphone in the app store or via Itunes app a pop-up appears "before you can make purchases, you must tap Continue to sign in, then verify your payment info." I'd happily click the continue button if there was one. But there isn't. I click on for the pop-up to move on and I'm back at the screen that asks me to redeem. Which I do and the pop-up returns. I'm fully logged in my payment method works for other app purchases or updates but not these EA codes. Very odd.

  • Why won't my security code save on the payment info?

    I suddenly can't purchase anything. When I check my payment info, I see that my security code info is "required". That's weird since it hasn't changed in years. Regardless, I enter it and hit "Done". There are no complaints or red error messages or anything to indicate there is an issue with the code. When I recheck the info, the security code field is once again saying "required". The code is not saved and therefore I can't make the purchase. Please don't link me to the standard "payment info" link, it doesn't address this particular problem. This is the 2nd major issue I've had with payment info in a month. Looks like many people are having issues with the security code. Apple, what is the deal?

    Having the same problem.   Scheduled a call with support, they said it was on apple's end and it would be fixed in half an hour.  An our later and still not fixed --charges my account a dollar each time I try to update it, and I have to start over on the support case.   Really frustrating.

    The security code is the 3 or 4 digit code on your card - on most cards it's on the back of the card on the signature strip, but on some cards (e.g. Amex cards) it's on the front.

    I am 99.9% sure it's the update that is causing the problem. The problem started for me after my first purchase once I updated on Tuesday. Oddly, but thankfully for some reason I had not updated my son's iPad to I OS 7, earlier today out of curiosity I attempted to make an in app purchase and it went through no problem still using OS 6. When I checked mine, I still cannot make purchases. The question now is can they fix this a.s.a.p or how long can it take to get a patch if the cannot.
