    Depends which products, have a look at - http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/epm_install_11114/frameset.htm?ch02s02s03.html
    It says 11.1.1.1.4 but just change it to 11.1.1.3

  • How to read ZIP files(having PDFs,Image) using MQ Series link for R/3

    Hi,
    1)Is it possible to transfer a zip file (having an image or pdf) using IDocs in SAP 4.6C using MQ Series link for R/?
    Scenario: "MQ Series link for R/3" converts Business-Reports from a third-party software,into SAP IDocs.Each Business-Report contains one XML file and one ZIP file.
    2)Being on ABAP side,do I have to worry about how the zip file would be converted into IDocs?
    Detailed descrption:
    This scenario requires integration of a non-SAP software which talks in XML with SAP R/3(4.6C).The customer has decided to go with 'MQ Series link for R/3' (which integrates any non-SAP application running on IBM MQ Series to R/3,by converting data(in any format) into IDocs).He is not ready to go for XI.
    The Problem area is a functionality which requires the non-SAP software to send XML file along with an attached Zip file.So,XML document,basically,has a 'zippedFile' XML element having actual file in XML keyword 'file'.
    This XML document ideally, should be converted by the subsystem(MQSeries link for R/3) into IDocs i.e. into a stream which could be stored in a table on R/3 side and later, sent back to the non-SAP software through MQ Series link to be converted into zip-file again with corresponding pdfs,images.I want someone who has worked in a similar scenario to confirm this.

    Hi,
    I have a feeling I have posted this question in the wrong forum or maybe I will let you decide this.Any help would be appreciated (even the right forum name).

  • To upload the ZIP file and get the filenames available in ZIP file in ABAP

    Hi Experts,
    For my requirement, file from legacy comes as ZIP file with number of files in that.
    Please provide one code sample to upload the ZIP file from local workstation and get the filenames available in ZIP file to check few filename validation checks for the available files in report program.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Regards,
    Basani

    1. Copy the ZIP file into App server
    2. Call function
      call function 'RFC_REMOTE_PIPE'
        destination 'SERVER_EXEC'
        exporting
          command = command  " Unzip command gunzip /path & file
          read = 'X'
        tables
          pipedata = std_lines
    then you can read the files and can validate the file names

  • Rename the zip file and send it using the Receiver Mail Adapter

    Hi,
    We have a custom module that will create multiple attachments. The result is then passed to the PayloadZipBean, which zips as per required.
    When we output this to a file adapter, we provide the file name as say "zippedfile.zip" the result is as expected.
    For example, if the custom module created 3 attachments with the names as file1.txt, file2.txt and file3.txt, the zip file zippedfile.zip, will contain 3 files as file1.txt, file2.txt and file3.txt.
    The issue that we are facing is when we use the mail adapter, the zip file is getting renamed to file1.txt.zip i.e to say that it takes the name of the main payload from the custom module (file1.txt)
    TextPayload txtpayload = message.getDocument();
    txtpayload.setContentType("text/plain");
    txtpayload.setName("file1.txt");
    moduleData.setPrincipalData(message);
    We tried using the MessageTransformbean but it doesn't seem to change the name of the file.
    Not sure where we are going wrong. Is it that the output of the payloadzipbean cannot be used and altered by MessageTransformbean?
    Is there any alternative as to rename the name of zipfiles and use it in the mail adapter?
    Appreciate any help on this regard.
    Regards,
    Shabz

    Solved.
    use Transform.ContentDisposition - attachment;filename="youfilename"
    Do read the mail adapter FAQ.
    The parameter can vary for different mail client.

  • Installing Windows XP pro from a ZIP file

    Hi,
    I bought a OEM copy of windows XP pro. It comes in a ZIP file. Is there a way to install it using Bootcamp directly or must I first create a CD with this file?
    Also, is there a difference in using the 64 bit version instead of the 32? Which one is better?
    Thanks
    This is for a Macbook Pro 4GB RAM 250 HD, brand new and for an IMac 4GB RAM, 500 HD also brand new.

    Boot Camp will require you use a standard bootable installer disc, not an upgrade disc. From the Boot Camp documentation (you did read it, I hope:)
    Important:
    You must use a single full-install Windows installation disc (Service Pack 2 is required for Windows XP installations). Do not use an upgrade version of Windows and do not install an earlier version of Windows XP and attempt to update it later to SP2. Use only 32-bit versions of Windows.

  • How do I delete a Thunderbird. zip file that was created by recuvva?

    My Dell computer is over 10 years old and getting ready to be recycled. I have used Thunderbird since 2011 and the issue is a concern to an otherwise outstanding program.
    The file recover program RECUVVA created a file of all deleted Thunderbird emails called Thunderbird.ZIP. I have tried several software programs to delete the file (AVG, ERASER, Glary) and none will delete the Thunderbird.ZIP file file.
    The file has migrated from the Dell computer to other computers and external drives. I loaded a copy of Thunderbird.ZIP file on a small USB drive and the only way to delete this file was to overwrite the USB drive and then reformat it. I really do not want to reformat several hard drives to remove the Thunderbird.ZIP file.

    If you want to get rid of the computer.
    If the Recuva file cannot be deleted until it has been used to recover, then use it to empty it.
    Then uninstall Recuva to stop using it.
    Then delete emails you do not want, empty the Deleted and Junk folder and then compact all folders.
    Then if you want to migrate whole profile to another pc - make a backup file of Profile.
    If you uninstall Thunderbird, it will uninstall the Thunderbird Program, but it may not have removed your Thunderbird Profile containing emails etc.
    Make sure this has been fully deleted.
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird
    If recycling/ selling/trashing the pc, I would recommend that you get everything you require off that pc and then reformat the hardrive.

  • File Adapter to read Zip file and send it as input to another webservice

    Hi,
    I have the below requirement:
    1. A service will generate 3 attachments and place it in a particular directory.
    2. SOA service has to pick those 3 files and send those files as input to another custom application which will email.
    Design :
    1. First SOA will create an archive file of those 3 attachements and then file adapter will poll for that zip file in that location and send that file as a whole to the custom application.
    Query:
    Now my question, is the above design feasible? If so, how to configure the file adapter to pass the file as input to that custom application?
    Kindly do the needful
    Thanks,
    Priya

    You can accomplish this via java embedding activity...Create a java embedding, which will create a zip file.. this java code is easy to implement..
    You can also do away with un-necessary polling file adapter.. and you can use "Synchronous File Read" operation of File Adapter.. For Sync Read, you'll have to pass the zip file name, which you can easily fetch from java embedding activity..
    Let me know, if this doesn't work.

  • Cannot open/unblock msi & exe files in .zip file

    Trying to open .zip file but get security warning. Have tried to set unblock file but still issue still exists and the files cannot be opened. Is there a way to override this restriction?

    I had the same problem in build 9926 (seems to be solved for me in 10041). Clicking "Unblock" or running the Powershell command "unblock-file" had no effect whatsoever.
    A workaround is to add a Policy that prevents Windows from blocking the file in the first place, when it's downloaded. This requires you to redownload the files though, as it does not fix already blocked files.
    Solution 1:
    Add the following to the registry or save it as a reg-file to import:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Attachments]
    "SaveZoneInformation"=dword:00000001
    Where 1 is "do not block downloaded files" and 2 would be "block downloaded files"
    Solution 2:
    Open gpedit.msc and browse to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Attachment Manager. Enable "Do not preserve zone information in file attachments".
    Seems no reboot is required.

  • Send email with password protected zip file attachment

    Hi Experts,
    The requirement is to zip a password protected excel file and send the zipfile through email. There is no middleware(PI) involved. The program has to be run in background mode. It is possible to create a password protected excel file using OLE method, but it will not work in background mode.
    Also it is possible to place the zip file in application server, but I am not able to give password for this file.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Renjith Nair

    Hi,
    You have to write a customer adapter module to handle this requirement.
    Zip/Unzip can be done using the payloadzipbean standard module:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/45/da9358a1772e97e10000000a155369/content.htm

    Is encoding an option instead of password for you:
