Ziswin setting "just imaged flag"

Hey people.
Does anyone know of a way to set the just imaged flag from inside windows via commandline/script or in any automated way? I'm trying to use Microsofts Deployment Toolkit and get ISD (Image Safe Data) to work. The problem is that the process completly wipes the disk so all image safe data gets deleted. I've solved this with the import/export feature of ziswin, and it works like a charm. The problem though is the just imaged flag. Or is there some way to start the "novell-isdservice" and force it to restore data from the ISD-area?

    Do you know if it's possible on an iPad to set the image quality/size or do we just have the one size - the photos I've taken, work out at approx 8 x 6cm @300ppi - not that big!

    8cm * (1 in/2.54cm) * 300 dpi = 944 pixels (should be 1280 if this is the back camera)
    6cm * (1in/2.54cm) * 300 dpi = 708 pixels (should be 720 if this is the back camera)
    The back camera on iPad 2 is 1280x720 = 0.92Mp.  No way to increase that.

  • [ Solved ] Issue with Partitioning (setting the boot flag)

    I've tried to install Arch a few times. I always seem to run into this issue which affects me later on.
    fdisk (fdisk /dev/sda) doesn't provide me with the ability to set the boot flag on any of the partitions. Therefore I have issues when I get to the bootloader bit. (intend to use grub)
    When I use cfdisk (cfdisk /dev/sda), while its help does say pressing 'b' will toggle the flag, in all images I've seen of what cfdisk should look like there has been a column marked 'Flags'  - that isn't present for me. So, I have no way of knowing if it actually gets set, though I doubt it does.
    Partition Table is GPT.
    Though,
    fdisk -l gives
    Disk /dev/sda ~465.8 GiB
    Disk /dev/loop0 ~278.2 MiB //Not entirely sure what loop0 and loop1 are...
    Disk /dev/loop1 ~32 GiB
    Disk /dev/mapper... //the live image.
    I'm probably just making a simple mistake - though I have no idea what. Help?
    (Ruling out other errors, using latest dual architecture image, (using 86_64 UEFI) on this system; Asus X99 Pro, Core  i7 5820k, 16GB RAM, ~500GB SSD, generic video card).

    It's okay - I just decided to follow the beginner's guide again. It recommend the use of parted for GPT  when using UEFI. So I just did that,  I also went for gummiboot as the bootloader. Never used it before, but it seems to do the job...
    Did forget to create a user though, so I'll have to log in as root and do that.
    Anyway, I'll mark this as solved.

  • Why are there 2-sets of IMAGE UNITS in Motion 5?

    I seem to have 2-sets of Image Units in my Motion 5 library:
    The first set has an icon exactly like the Filters icon; the second set has an icon exactly like the Generators icon.
    I have read elsewhere online that it appears not everyone has the first set of Image Units, that perhaps it has something to do with running OS 10.7 Lion, but this has not been confirmed.  I am currently running Lion, and I do have these Image Units, but they do not seem to do anything when I put them in the Timeline.
    Some examples of these Image Units are: 1) Glass Distortion, 2) Glass Lozenge, 3) Copy Machine (transition)... there are 123 of these in the Image Units folder, and it looks like they might do some really cool things if I could get them to work.  If I cannot get them to work then I'd like to remove them from the Motion library, if only I could figure out how to do that as well.
    If I right-click on the Motion application icon and choose "Show Package Contents" these Image Units do not appear anywhere, and a Spotlight search for "Image Units" does not reveal anything significant either.
    Please help me figure out 1) What is this second set of Image Units?
                                          2) If not everyone has them, how did I get mine?
                                          3) How do I get them to work?
                                          4) If they do not work, how do I remove them?
    Thanks so much!

    1) the 2nd set of Image Units are actually Generators, which means, when applied to the canvas, you will get a Generator Pane in the inspector. You cannot add a generator Image Unit to another object and affect it's appearance as you can with a Filter Image Unit.
    You can Apply Filter Image Units to Generator Image Units... LOL but not vice versa.
    ***STAY AWAY FROM RANDOM GENERATOR*** it does NOT belong to Motion -- it belongs to Core Image and is accessible in Quartz Composer (there are others too, in the filter image units... they will appear to do "nothing" [all of the Area XXXX filters are such])  Clicking on Random Generator has been known (and does for me as well) to crash Motion.  If you want or need a random number, use the Numbers generator and click the Random checkbox. For everything else, use the wriggle behavior.
    2) Everybody is supposed to have them. If they don't, something screwed up in the installation.
    3) Filter Image Units will have parameters under the Filter Tab of the selected object under the heading of the Filter Name or the name you give it in the Layers palette. [Generator Image Units answered in #1]
    4) You can't, and you don't want to: they belong to the System (Core Image); but for the ones that do nothing or can crash Motion, you will just have to learn to avoid them.

  • Can you set an image at run time?  Does it really work?

    I have read that others have been able to set an image at run time, but I cannot seem to get it to work (the image I set does not load).
    What I do is have a page, call it page2, that has two image components on it. In the constructor for page2 I do this:
    // Additional user provided initialization code
    image1.setValue("bike1.JPG");
    image2.setValue("bike2.JPG");
    The jpg files are in the build directory:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Darrin\My Documents\Creator\Projects\ImageTest\build\images
    The odd thing is that for the first image component(image1), I set a default jpg file (nogo.JPG that is in the same directory as the other two), and that does load.
    In fact, when I I check the value of image1 in afterRenderResponse by calling image1.getValue() it still has the default image (nogo.JPG) instead of the one I set it to (bike1.JPG) in the constructor by calling image1.setValue("bike1.JPG");
    So, either the image1.setValue() has no effect, or something is overwriting it.
    What is the trick to getting an image to load at run time like this?
    THANKS!

    Well after several more hours of banging myh ead against the wall, I still cannot get this to work.<br><br>
    I read in the constructor comments that whatever is in the jsp file will override the backing bean's constructor, so that might be part of the problem, but others I thought got this to work using a similar method.<br><br>
    Here is what I tried last which still does not work, but mimics what others have said did work for them:<br><br>
    //See if the default jpg file can even be copied over
    <br> image3.setHeight(image1.getHeight());
    <br> image3.setUrl(image1.getUrl());
    <br> image3.setValue(image1.getValue());
    <br>
    <br> Integer aiw = new Integer("1");
    <br> float aar = 0;
    <br> float ar = 0;
    <br>
    <br> ImageIcon ii = new ImageIcon("C:/Documents and Settings/Darrin/My Documents/Creator/Projects/ImageTest/build/images/bike1.JPG");
    <br> ar = (float)ii.getIconHeight()/(float)ii.getIconWidth();
    <br> aiw = new Integer(ii.getIconHeight());
    <br> aar = ar*aiw.intValue();
    <br> image1.setHeight(""+(int)aar);
    <br> image1.setUrl("images/bike1.JPG");
    <br> image2.setValue("C:/Documents and Settings/Darrin/My Documents/Creator/Projects/ImageTest/build/images\\bike2.JPG");
    <br> image2.setUrl("C:/Documents and Settings/Darrin/My Documents/Creator/Projects/ImageTest/build/images\\bike2.JPG");
    <br><br>Note that when I run this and look at the log that I write out to in afterRenderRepsponse, it shows that image1 (which shows up as the default image I set at design time) and image3 (which does not show up which I set at run time using image1's value) both show the nogo.JPG image from the <b>resource</b> directory while image2 (that I set at run time to be bike2.JPG) is showing up as <b>empty</b>
    <br><br>
    This is really getting frustrating, and I would greatly appreciate a small tutorial from the JSC staff on just how you need to go about doing this. given that this is so common a need, a tutorial is warranted. Heck, just clue me in on how it is done and I will write one!
    <br><br>
    THANKS!

  • Setting JFrame Image Background

    Hi everyone, I'm kind of new to Java programming and so far I haven't been able to find a way to set the background of a JFrame to an image. I already know how to change the color but I need to set an image to the background and not just a color. So I was wondering if anybody knew where to find a simple tutorial or instructions on how to do this or if someone could simply explain it.
    Thanks for the help :)

    Swing related questions should be posted in the Swing forum.
    I haven't been able to find a way to set the background of a JFrame to an imageReally? Thats hard to believe as this is one of the most common questions in the forum. What search keywords did you use? Maybe the last two (or three) words from your topic title would be a good start. And searching the Swing forum would be a good idea.
    I'm partial to my [Background Panel|http://www.camick.com/java/blog.html?name=background-panel] solution which does what the above postings suggest, plus provide a few other image painting options.

  • Setting deletion indicator/Flag for an operation in production order

    Dear All, Hi
                     How to set deletion indicator/flag for an operation in a production order. I don't want to delete the operation as such. Please help & suggest.
    Ragards,
    Shaiz

    Hi Shaiz,
    I hope the requirement is just like you posted earlier as in case of component deletion.
    Here in this case also the behaviour of the order remains the same.
    So you can go for release the order as soon as the order gets created, your both the requirements can be fullfilled.
    Also you havn't provided the exact feedback on the solutions offered by all of us, on your last query.
    Request you to give detailed input on the same.
    Hope thish helps you.

  • How to set an image pattern as backround for a Shape + Copy shapes

    1.)
    Is there any way to set an image as background for a geometry shape (eg. Shapes.AddTriangle) similar like setting a 'Brush#' as background with LDShapes.BrushGradientShape ??
    In the image below, eg. the yellow triangle is a rectangular image shape with transparent regions, and therefor can with 'LDShapes.GetAllShapesAt(mouseX,mouseY)'
    also be accessed/grabbed in its transp. regions eg. green or red points etc., etc, aso.. and not only in the filled 3angular area, while a real 3angular geometry shape (like on the left side) would NOT (here only
    inside the triangle area itself). I tried 'LDShapes.SetImage' but this is for image shapes/controls and did'nt work here.
    Or maybe anyone has a better solution for a more natural looking wooden 'Brush' (as alternative for a real triangle shape with gradient).
    2.)
    Is there a way to copy an existing shape/control (with its basic properties like color, text, size, vertices count, ..) to another, like LDImage.Copy does for images ??
    eg. i can simply copy an array and an image from one variable to an other variable, like
    ' arr1 copied to arr2
    arr1 = "1=1;2=2;3=4;4=8;5=16;6=32;"
    arr2 = arr1
    TextWindow.WriteLine(arr2)
    TextWindow.WriteLine(arr1)
    or
    ' img1 copied to img2 (ImageList1)
    GraphicsWindow.Show()
    img1 = ImageList.LoadImage("picPath")
    img2 = img1
    GraphicsWindow.DrawImage(img2,50,50)
    GraphicsWindow.DrawImage(img1,200,200)
    but following does'nt work
    ' Ellipse1/Text1/Image1/Button1/...  is just an object with two names: shp1 and shp2
    GraphicsWindow.Show()
    shp1 = Shapes.AddEllipse(10,10)        'or Shapes.AddText("ABC") or Shapes.AddImage("picPath") or Controls.AddButton("Demo",0,0)
    Shapes.Move(shp1, 100,100)
    shp2 = shp1
    Shapes.Move(shp2, 50,50)
    Shapes.Move(shp1, 200,200)
    Not so important (only for interest), but maybe anyone has a trick for this, to copy such objects instead of creating them new.

    Yep, that made the rest of my whole day!! Works excelllent in the demo, and i'm just replacing all the  Image<->Triangle commands. Wonderfulll & thanks a lot, LitDev. (enjoint the sb sample in your Test-DL :-))
    PS:
    Controls.SetTextBoxText(Controls.AddTextBox(10,10), "Enter your name here...")
    Controls.AddButton(".. then press the Button", 180,10)
    LDGraphicsWindow.Capture("","")
    GraphicsWindow.Clear()
    GraphicsWindow.DrawImage("ImageList1", 0,0)

  • Create randomized fill from set of images

    I have a set of images that are all different, but tile nicely together. I would like to create a pattern (or similar) that I can use to fill an area using those images randomly selected. That is, they should all be aligned in a grid, but each tile of the grid should be chosen at random from one of the images. The purpose of this is to have a tiling that doesn't repeat, a la http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wang_domino and, more generally, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penrose_tiling
    Here are a few images from a set as an example of what I would like to randomly tile:
    Of course I could place them manually, but I may need to fill an area with thousands of these, and even if I did place them by hand, it wouldn't be very flexible as far as reshaping/resizing the tiled area, etc.
    I'm trying to do this with Illustrator CS6 if it helps. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Mike Gondek wrote:
    Does this help?
    Not in any way I can see. That (basically) just downsamples the selected image to create a tiled look that mimcs the original image. I need to fill a space exactly like a pattern would, but with each tile of the pattern being randomly selected from a set of images.
    For clarity, here's a full example:
    Given these three tiles:
    Fill a space with random tiles to generate something like the following:
    Note that in the above example, I did the placement by hand, which is both tedious and probably not very random on a large scale, nor flexible at all for different fills or later modification.

  • Freezing a set of images - For protection again any future changes

    Hi,
    my workflow looks often like this: I import a set of images in a folder like "TODO-xxxxx", then I edit them, and when I finished all editing, I rename the folder to e.g. "Finished-xxxxx".
    Now I would like to prevent any changes to these images. So I would like to have a facility in LR which freezes these images. And I would like to see a visual hint (icon or something like this)  so I can easily see what is frozen and what not.
    Additionally it would be a good thing if the frozen image files are also set to read-only on the OS file system.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Manfred

    John,
    As much as I don't appreciate you putting me down, you have raised a good point about the value of a plugin for "rescueing" this Lightroom shortcoming:
    Please just ignore if you are tired of me going on... This part aimed more at Manfred and other on-lookers than John:
    I used to make inadvertent edits far more often than I do now - mostly just by being especially careful, especially with auto-sync.
    And, when I made these edits by mistake, it was difficult-to-impossible to tell where I was before, in order to get back. What's changed since then is the 'Export {date}' item added to the history list - which is a godsend IMO. Since I always export after finishing edits, it is easy to see,  when looking at an individual photograph if inadvertent edits have been made, and I simply click on the last 'Export {Date}' item to restore.
    If the 'Export {Date}' item had not been added to the history list, I would have written this plugin in short order.
    If your workflow does not include promptly exporting after finished editing, another thing you can do is make a snapshot called something like: "Finished...", then you can see if edits have been made after this snapshot was taken...
    Granted, this only allows you to see whether an inadvertent edit has been made when viewing a single photo in develop mode. Where a plugin could still provide some added value is in being able to see in library mode, and being able to filter/collect photos with inadvertent edits. And also assuring that even if they get written to the catalog, they are never written to xmp/dng (or at least not without a prompt).
    Worth an Lr3 plugin, until we see what Lr4 brings, me-thinks... Gimme a "minute"......

  • Set Mass Deletion Flag for production orders

    Hi,
    I am planning to set mass deletion flag for production orders using programme PPARCHP1.
    My users dont have access to SE38/SA38 and they cant run this program from directly.
    I dont wnat my users to do this preprocessig using SARA or CO78 as it will give access to them for whole archiving process + it only works in background.
    I am thinking to create a Z tocde for this program and use it in dialogue mode also. Do you guys see any aftereffects with this process?
    Let me know if creating a Z tocde sounds a good idea?

    The standard SAP procedure to set the archive is that
    - you run COAC in background to set deletion flag and deletion indicator.   It should be set as the variant and run periodically (i.e., monthly).
    - The system get all orders with DLV status in the past xx days depending on your variant to set deletion flag.
    - Also it will change the status DLFL to DLT based on your residence time 1.
    - The orders with DLT that reside in system longer than residence time 2 then archive.
    This should be done by IT department or background jobs.  Not the users.
    Which, in my opinion, is enough.  However, if you do need the user to select by themselves which orders they want to set deletion flag (why is that?).  Then you may want to explore enhancement.
    For the sake of simplicity, I will recommend to use user status (normal cohv can change that, as we know; therefore no new fancy screen needed).  Then develop the user exit to set deletion indicator in PPCO0002 - EXIT_SAPLCORE_001 based on user status.  The rest of the procedure should remain the same.
    If you want to allow user to do every steps and develop some Z* screen for users, they must have the authorization for archiving anyway.  They just don't have the t-code COAC, and SARA.  In my opionion, it is overkill.  Plus in terms of users, I don't think they have skills enough if there is some errors during archiving (i.e., logical file error, etc.).
    Hope it helps.

  • In table TCURC set the primary flag

    Hello,
    I am trying to do a RSCRM_BAPI download and am getting an error in the job log "For the ISO code there is no unique SAP currency code for ALE".  The procedure says to set the primary flag for ISO codes used multiple times in the TCURC table.  I have looked at the table and indeed there are two entries for the ISO code USD.  One is a currency USD and the other is USDN for Internal United States Dollar.  Has anyone seen this before or adjusted this table for this problem.   Seems to me that USD should be the the primary ISO code but i am reluctant to make the change without knowing the implication.
    TMS

    Hi Ted,
    Please check OSS note 605208 - RSCRM - Restrictions.
    "The OLAP processor delivers the RSCRM the SAP currency code. The RSCRM has to convert this code to the ISO code. Therefore the table TCURC has to be maintained correctly. If an ISO code appears several time in the ISOCD column, exactly one line should have set the XPRIMARY flag to 'X' for this ISO code. Otherwise a warning is thrown. But it should work also with this warning. The warning is just annoying."
    Hope this helps...

  • Evening Out The Brightness and Color of a Set of Images

    So I have a set of images, usually between 500-700, all taken in a 20min period or so. Natural light through a window. It's shot handheld with my Canon rebel with a 18-55mm lens. Due to the slight change in light over the time period, the fact I'm zooming in and out, and moving around the subject, I get a lot of value and color variation. See the images below...
    My current process is to manually color correct each image so they match in terms of brightness and color. This gets very tedious of course. Could someone suggest a faster, preferably completely automated way to even out the brightness and colors of a set of images like these in lightroom so they all look pretty similar to each other?
    Thanks for any help!
    - Neil

    Hi léonie,
    >> One problem - it is not only the different color of the light because of the setting sun.
    >> Your Harry and Harold are receiving the sun light from different directions. Harold is
    >> facing away from the sun and the light in the shadows is much bluer. I doubt you will
    >> be able to "Lift&Stamp" the adjustment between these two groups of images without
    >> fine tuning it. The "shady" Harold will need additional color correction to turn the bluish
    >> shadows into sunlight, because the shadow regions need contrast stretching and
    >> more vibrancy as well.
    Yup, that's one reason I think I need a color correction after the fact method to handle this situation, obviously taking a shot that's mostly in shadow will look different than one where the character is almost all in complete sunlight.
    I guess I'm really having three issues here, first is the blue tint that gets introduced when I zoom in, and then second is the natural lightening and darkening that occurs as I take photos of the subject from different angles, and third is the fact since its sunlight the light does change somewhat over the 20minute period.
    Hopefully the first issue can be solved by turning off automatic white balance, and I'm still hoping there may be some automated method for evening out the value difference introduced by the 2nd and third issue. Although even if I can just solve the first issue that would save me a ton of time.
    Thanks for the info so far.

  • Iphoto sets wrong orientation flag during import

    I'm using OS X 10.9.4 and iPhoto 7.1.5.
    Formerly, it seems that the image import of portrait images worked as follows:
    - import the original file with the untouched orientation flag (e.g. 8)
    - duplicate the image, rotate it according to it's orientation flag and set the orientation flag of the rotated image to 1
    You should have two versions of portrait, but only one of landscape images.
    Now all images are imported as landscape images and the orientation flag is set to 1. I checked the files on the SD-card. They are correct.
    Is there any possibility to correct this behavior?

    Did this happen directly after the upgrade to OS X 10.9.4? The consider to upgrade your iPhoto to 9.5.1.  iPhoto 7.1.5 is simply not supported on Mavericks, and you will be running into all kinds of similar issues.
