Zoom controls integrated into the toolbar

there is a zoom control in the toolbar after all, but as soon as you select the spot removal or the adjustment, it is lost from the toolbar, so I'm still suggesting the zoom stays on the toolbar as displayed -
When editing using spot removal and adjustment brushes, it is a pain to have to hit tab to open up the navigator to get to the zoom levels, sometimes you want to push into 2:1 or even 4:1 to fix issues. So i am suggesting putting the same zoom controls onto the toolbar as shown below. Now you can work full screen, and quickly xoom to a desired zoom level and do all the fixes.
This would speed up the processing, and save on flicking tabs, image resizing and generally improve workflow.

Now I dont need to have the left and right tabs open to push in very tight ie to remove the dirt in and round this semi feral kittens nose.

I imported my previous Bookmarks but they've all gone into the Bookmarks menu; how do I get the previous Toolbar ones back into the Toolbar instead of just having them in a sub-menu in Bookmarks?

If you import an HTML file then those bookmarks are added at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu folder.<br />
If you want to have them on the Bookmarks Toolbar then you can move them to the folder with that name via a Cut and Paste action in the sidebar or in the Bookmarks Manager.

How do I get rid of the latest MSN toolbar from my firefox? I've removed it from my Control Panel but the toolbar is still on my browser!

I was prompted to download the latest version of MSN Chat. Just one click and the whole package was installed on my computer... The toolbar...and my search engine got replaced by Bing. I've uninstalled both the toolbar and the MSN Chat from my laptop. The toolbar and Bing are still on, however. This also results in the dysfunction of my Firefox. My first Firefox window carries the text "Well, this is embarrassing." and the details which you probably already know. It takes opening the second window for Firefox to work. How do I reverse these conditions? Thank you for your help.

I've developed a WebDynpro Component that uses 8 other components.
The initial component has 1 view with a PhaseIndicator element with 8 phases.
Selecting a phase pops up a window of the appropriate components used as usage components.
Also, depending on certain config tables some windows might popup as soon as the application runs.
I've created an application for the component with the PhaseIndicator.
<h4>The application works perfectly !</h4>
<h2>Problem</h2>
<h4>When I integrate the application into the NetWeaver Portal it also works perfectly, in Dev that is.</h4>
When moving the application and all it's components to QA it also works perfectly if run on it's own. But, when embedded in an iview in the Portal, strange things happen
All the components that are usage components in the 1st component is displayed in the first window but not as pop ups.
They are all listed below each other with plenty of white space between them, below each other in one huge scrollable window.
<h2>My Investigations</h2>
I've run a trace in Dev and QA and discovered that just before the Windows are displayed different code is run in the two systems. In Dev, the system executes a method of the class CL_WDR_SSR_LS but in QA the system executes the contructor class of a local method lcl_repository in the include LWDR_RUNTIME_REPOSITORYF12.
<h2>Things I've tried - but did not work</h2>
1) Removed my custom theme.
2) Re-transported everything.
3) Bounced the QA Portal
4) Transported everything to Prod - It works perfectly in and out of the Prod system and Portal. BTW The ECC system of QA was refreshed from Prod 2 weeks ago.

In Internet Explorer you can Add Favorites to the toolbar - how can I do this in Firefox?

Firefox has a bar for Bookmarks (equivalent of Favorites). To display the bar, you can right-click a blank area to the right of the tabs and turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar. This also is available from the following menus:
orange Firefox button > Options > Bookmarks Toolbar ''or''<br>
classic View menu > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar

Customize Toolbar has been very "hit & miss" lately, attempts to add Google Search are failing. I am using "Safari>View>Customize Toolbar> Drag" with little success.
Any suggestions appreciated, thankx in advance.

Ah - I read your initial question as to how to set Google as the search engine, rather than not having the Search field present in the Toolbar.
First, make sure Show Toolbar is set in Safari's View menu - if it is set to show, it will state "Hide Toolbar" instead and you need not change that.
Then, also in the View menu, choose the item "Customize Toolbar...".
Click on the representation of that item (circled below) and drag it to the right end of the Toolbar, between the Address box and the edge of the window. A position marker should appear, at which time you can release it.

The Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, 8th edition. Integration into the spotlight

I have just purchased and installed the Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, 8th edition, from App Store. Does anyone know how to integrate it into the spotlight?

Someone else here may have other suggestions, but I was able to find the following information on Oxford's support site. It may fix your problem, though it doesn't specifically address sound not playing (it does for the Mac version). I'd suggest you keep the old plugin files until you verify that the new plugins don't cause worse problems.

A. The Compass CD-ROM was developed before QuickTime 7 was released, and there are some incompatibilites which can be fixed as follows:
If it is open, close the OALD7 Compass application.
Download the pluginsQT7win.zip patch file
In the directory where OALD7 is installed (usually c:\Program Files\Oxford\OALD7\), there is a directory called plugins - delete all the files in the plugins directory.
Move pluginsQT7win.zip into the now empty plugins folder, and unzip the 4 files there.
Sound should now be working - if you have any further problems or queries, please email the helpdesk.

Why is there no project management integrated into the ical?

Im looking for a project manager that integrates a calendar. I would think with all the working parents that they would need a calendar where you could see both home life AND work projects. I have searched everywhere. Anyone have ideas???

There is a star like button next to the search bar on the Navigation Toolbar to bookmark the current web page and a "Show your bookmarks" button next to it to open the Bookmarks in a drop down menu.
You can find "Show All Bookmarks" to open the Bookmarks Manager (Library) at near the top of the drop-down list.
If you are on a tab that is bookmarked then "Bookmark This Page" in the Bookmarks menu as well as the tooltip of the highlighted star changes to "Edit This Bookmark".

CC and Lightroom integration: when will LR finally get a 100% integration into the installer?

It still gets installed to a different folder (ignoring the base folder I set for CC) and the installer still says it's not installed after installing.
I had CS6 and standalone LR before CC, that might be the cause, but I am NOT going to reinstall everything to get back to where I am now.
I bet there's some registry entries that override the settings you set in the CC installer, but apparently no one ever cared about cleaning this up.
Because CC doesn't recognize the LR installation properly (even if I installed it using the CC installer) LR never gets updated, I always get a popup on starting LR.
PLEAAASE fix the installer and/or the LR package so everything is fully integrated. Thank you!

addendum: Installation always goes to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Lightroom ... instead of C:\Adobe\ where all the other CC apps go.

Will the new Spotify/Playstation service be integrated into the Walkman app ?

As a Music Unlimited subscriiber I was dissapointed to see the service shut down.
Can anyone elaborate on the streaming plans for the Walkman App ? Specifically, will there be a Spotify integration as we saw with the Music Unlimted service or will we be seeing a totally separate APK ?

Every time a call ends or I miss a call my podcasts start playing. I realize this is because the app is only paused and not stopped; however this is a problem I didn't have before the podcast app when it was just integrated into the music app.

It also does this after I use Siri. I have an iphone 5 and it does the same thing on my 3gs. Since I forget to stop the app frequently it becomes annoying to have podcasts starting at random when in a meeting.

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. I watched the utube clip and there is one critical thing missing in my cd setup - my cd setup does not go to the "access your camera from the internet" section - It just goes directly to "finished / exit"

Can admin console extensions be integrated into the change center?

We are extending the WL server 10 administration console to update some of our proprietary tables. We are following the instructions from this document:

It works fine, but the actions we perform in our extensions are not displayed in the change center.

I would like software that will work with my 8600 that is substantially the same as the Solution Center.
With the solution center I could:
Switch scanning from the flatbed to the feeder and back as many times as I wanted within one scan job. As an example I could scan a document on the feeder, switch to the flatbed for a business card (or photo, or prescription, etc.) and then back to the feeder to scan more document.
Once my scan was complete I could go to a panel at the lower right of the solution center and move pages end to beginning or beginning to end and place any page in any position. Example: if I wanted page 23 out of 50 pages to be page 28, I could simply move page 23 to the 28 page position.
I could perform a scan at a DPI of my choosing for the entire scan. Example: I could set the DPI at 400 and scan all my photos to the 400dpi setting without the scanner first sensing the scan item and then scanning to the file.
I could add pages as often as I liked at a higher DPI than 300. With the 8600 I can only scan 1 page at higher than 300dpi and I cannot crop the item.
When I placed the photos (at which only 3 4 x 6 photos would fit the bed) each photo would scan independently at any DPI I set. With the 8600 I can only scan at 300 and still be able to crop but I do have to crop each item. Example: If I scan four photos from the full flatbed then I can only crop from 300dpi or less. If the scanner is set at 600 (the only allowed next setting) or higher, I cannot crop and all four photos scan as one item.
The DPI setting with not allow for variable dpi settings as the 8500 solution center did. I have to jump from 300 to 600 or higher and then I lose all previous functionality.
Hope this helps with future development. I noticed you have thousands of similar requests here reference this same problem. Does that tell you anything?
