Zoom-in feature under Lion doesn't work properly, need immediate help

Hey, I have a bad eyesight as a handicap and I completely rely on the zoom-in-function of my mac because it let's me easily access and see stuff I want.
when upgrading to Lion yesterday the zoom feature first didn't work at all then it jus enabled me to zoom in but the zoom  sort of froze and my mouse could only move within the zoomed frame. I set it all to "follow the mouse" but it jsut doesn't work.
the zoom-feature was one of the main reasons years ago I got a mac in the first place and now it's so frustrating. really, I need help!!! does anyone at Apple already know about the problem?

B...I guess it's no secret, but there is a problem with the zoom feature, and it's somehow connected to the screensaver being active when the computer goes into sleep mode. There are 2 quick ways to work around this without having to log off or reboot all the time  !. Turn off your screen saver, and zoom should always be available to you. 2. If you need the screen saver, activate one of the hot corners in the screen saver selection area. When your machine refuses to zoom, activate the screensaver by using the hot corner for a few seconds. When you return to your desktop, the zoom will be working again. I works every time for me. Good Luck everybody and I'm sure this little hiccup will be fixed in a short time.

    Cleared everything, several time over several days, no change.
    Still have not diagnosed the problem and I have made a lot of changes, including re-loading M.FireFox 4.0.1 with ATT Yahoo vers. 1.8
    It sometimes appears that the sign-in times out, although I tried signing in for 2 weeks and also 1 day. ATT Yahoo has a sign-in seal one can setup and use. It is fine and works only that one day or until one signs out, than it is history.

    I just want to let you know this is a software issue.  The 4 and such has been having this issue all over this place since iOS 6 has come out, it's documented all over these forums but Apple does not want to admit it.  Yes if you check the steps on 'recalibrating' that will get your home button working for a bit.  In most cases wiping out everything on the phone brings it to normal working level.  Just saying, had this issue for a while and I've read way to many posts by Apple employees not understanding what is going on.

    Wipe the drive clean and install Snow Leopard from your install disk.
    Might be less work fixing Safari. Try Resetting Safari.

    Have you tried any troubleshooting steps, like resetting you iPhone, for example?  Or restoring it?
    If not by all means do so because your problem could be caused by software glitches that could be solved resetting or restoring.
    Warranty is for one year from date of purchase and two years if you bought Apple Care at the time of purchase. If your iPhone has a hardware issue within warranty, it would be replaced by Apple.  If it is already out of warranty, you might be eligible for an out of warranty replacement where you pay a much lower amount but this varies according to the country and currency, so it is better to check with Apple or with an authorized reseller.

    Swipe up from the bottom.  Control center should cover about 2/3 of the screen.  At the top right of control center is a circle with a lock in it.  If that lock is closed, tap to open it.

    This is really unfortunate. I'm sorry that nothing works. I was going to mention holding down the power button and doing a force shutdown but you already did that. You might need to take it into the Apple store. I don't know if booting into safe mode would help. You would have to turn off the machine again, hit the start button and hold down the shift key after you hear the tone, but normally you would let go of the shift key when you see the apple logo and spining wheel. Maybe by holding down the shift key after you here the tone will cause the screen to come back on? The other option is to start up from the 'install disk' if your machine came with one. You would insert the disk, then shut down the computer, and hold down the C key right after hitting the start button.

    Issues with sending and receiving MMS
    You will need these to send and receive MMS:
    - An iPhone 3G or later.
    - iOS 3.1 or later.
    - A cellular data connection. MMS isn't available if you are using only Wi-Fi.
    - A domestic MMS plan from your cellular provider. You may need an international messaging plan to send MMS to an international contact. Contact your carrier for more information.
    - A roaming MMS when using a cellular provider's network different from your billing cellular provider's network. Learn more about roaming and contact your carrier for more information.
    To resolve issues with sending and receiving MMS, follow these steps first
    1. Go to Settings and turn airplane mode off.
    2. Go to Settings > Messages and turn MMS Messaging on.

    If so, what happens when you try to download? Is it a case of nothing happens? If so, take a look at the suggestions under 'Stalled Download' in this link:

    Also, some usrs have found that logging out of the Mac App Store and then back in again and starting over has kick-started the download. It seems that the 5+gb download can take a long time to give any feedback as to what's happening.

  • Key Command for "Go to Next Marker" doesn't work properly

    Hi there!
    While using Logic Pro 9.1.8 with Mountain Lion (10.8.2), it seems that the Key Command for "Go to Next/Previous Marker" doesn't work properly.
    The only effect is, that a grey rectangle moves in the top of the Arrange Area while ignoring the Markers itself.
    Any suggestions to solve it or is it me that is misbehaving?

    The commands work correctly here on the same OS etc: Cycle Locators jump to the next/prev marker and the Playhead jumps to the Start of the Marker.
    Default KC are Control Command +Arrow Left/right

    Hi all, I'm PHP programmer, and i have some questions in my area. I have 3 Apple computers (MacBook Air, MacBook and MacBook Pro). There is one site, made by our group, that doesn't work properly on my MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, while other sites work excellent on that 2 computers. And what is more interesting, site, that doesn't work on my MacBook Pro and Air, WORKS on my windows computer, and WORKS on my MacBook. I tried to use this site from different internet provider, but problem was steel actual. I asked 2 of my friends to try this site on their MacBooks Pro - the same (it doesn't work properly, links don't open), but any other computer (under windows, or iPad, or my Macbook) can work with this site excellent. Can anybody help with this? Are there any specifications in program code to MacBook Air work with that site also excellent?

    Using LV8.20, found "flatten to string" function under 7.x function group. but it doesn't work properly in lv8.20. Is there a function "flatten to string" function in LV8?

    Not sure where you found the 7.x functions palette. I found the function under Numeric>>Data Manipulation.
    NI changed some things about data representation and flattening in LV8, so if you want to work with old data, you should right click the function and select Convert 7.x Data.
    There is a rant here about the palette being in a problematic location, but that will go into the proper thread.
