Zoom in web page makes type pixilated

When I use my Magic Mouse to scroll with the control key pressed, the type on a page gets larger. However, as it enlarges it becomes extremely pixilated, and is hard to read. It seems to me that before Snow Leopard, when I scrolled in this manner the type got larger and it was still pretty clear.
Is there a setting that I need to change in order for the control-scroll/zoom to work properly?

You must be remembering incorrectly. Zooming that way (assuming it's the same as the zoom gesture on a trackpad, which I think it is) simply blows up the screen, showing the same pixels at larger sizes, and it always has. If you want zoomed text to remain clear, you'll need to use whatever controls the application in question gives you for enlarging text.

The link in your example - https://www.gmx.com/ - is loading non- secure content from http://themes.googleusercontent.com/
The lock will display only if everything on the page is secure - in this case it's not.
As Safari has no way of knowing if theme.googleusercontent.com is going to be transmitting or receiving content that should be encrypted, then the overall page is in no way secure, and as such Safari won't display the lock icon.
This is correct behaviour - it would be dangerous to users to identify pages as secure when they're clearly not.
Reloading the page above uses cached copies of the fonts, thus no insecure connection is required on the reload. The issue in the link above (GMX) is not a Safari issue, just really bad web development by whomever built the site and mixed secure and insecure content.

You can't. (Fonts increase in size like everything else, not in height alone).

Oracle CODE Submission Web Page - MAKE IT WORK finally ( not temporary! )

Is it possible to finally FIX Oracle Code Submission web page. Last year ( last half ) it return errors, same this time. Is any possible way to finally FIX it without anytime alert that it is not working or broken. As far as I understand that the place were we share our code/tips/ideas, not publish our friends or something like that. I think if we use it, then at least put warning prior than we try to submit. No conversations about re-type same code ( tip used SQL, new tip - SAME but using PL/SQL function ), but at least make it work.

The web page I'm trying to edit has a URL of https://....../sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart which fits your example but the templates under service BBPSTART seem to bear no resemblance to the screen I need. The code under services BBPSC01 and BBPSC02 looks more relevant but still doesn't refer to the screen input field that I'm looking to edit.

I wrote the above on 3rd Jan but was unable to post it.
Since then I have found template SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS 2000 in service BBPSC01 does bear a resemblance to the displayed page code but as a scanty framework. The generated code has vastly more lines. I can't yet see how the template becomes the web page and where all the addditional lines of code come from and are edited.

Sorry, you can't downgrade. Look: Settings>General>Accessibility...things like Bold Text...see if any changes here will help.

IOS 5 bug: Cannot zoom some web pages

After the upgrade to iOS5, I cannot pinch zoom web pages designed for mobile devices any more. Normal HTML pages still work.
This bug was present in iOS 3.1.2, but was gone by iOS 4. Now it is back.
Please fix this, as it is an accessibility issue.

Loading mulitple Adobe Flash web pages makes mouse cursor disappear

I have a 2011 Mac Mini with OSX 10.7 Lion Server
Regardless of the Browser used - if I load mulitple Adobe Flash based Flickr photo slide show web pages, after 15 seconds my Mouse Cursor completely disappears and makes navigating the mac rather impossible.
Its really buggy and forces me to click or "right click" (Option Click) randomly on the Desktop with the hope that I might briefly see the cursor return so I can close the browsers.
Does not matter if i use Safari, Firefox or Chrome.

must click the "play " to start the slide show, have all three running at the same time.
And withing 10 seconds on my mac mini - NO Curser.
Even if I try to move the mouse outside the Browser display area - to where i clairvoyantly might consider the cursor should be over the Desktop.
Typically results in the invisible cursor accidently creating numerous new folders on the desktop, as I frantically attempt to make the cursor re-appear.
Totally maddening - and I have the Identical problem on Two separate 2011 Macs. (iMac 27 and Mac Mini)

1) Back Up personal Data
2) Perform "OSX Recovery"

Remove details for web page object types in search results

Within the search results, the first 200 characters are displayed for documents, web pages, etc.. Web pages show the HTML code. Is there a way to hide these details for web pages but have them visible for all other object types?

When printing a web page the type is spaced out all over the page, why?

when I try and print a web page out on firefox it spreads the words out all over the page so it is unreadable. I never had this problem until recently.

Every since I upgraded to Version 30, if I go to a web page and type in anything. It opens 3-4 tabs wanting to upgrade or download other software.

It opens tabs and wants me to upgrade firefox to Version 25.0.1. And when I clicked in this box it opened a tab and wanted me to upgrade computer, it also opened a tab to and 855 number claiming to be Mozilla firefox support help line.

Your new web page makes it very difficult to find ANYTHING!

Since you have gone to your new home page, I have a very hard time doing ANYTHING! There is no search box and I have not found a way to get to most of the stuff I use such as Thunderbird. I regard it as user hostile.

Thank you for the solution (it also has a search box). It is interesting that this particular "arrow" is different that all the other double arrows on the page. Seems like web designers today believe they are designing some kind of computer game where people should click on everything in sight until they find something useful (Crystal Key anyone?).

Web page comes up in small print. I understand "cntl ++" but how due I adjust the size to make it larger when it 1st displays?
