Zoom Level Setting Does not Stay Constant

The zoom level is set at 125 but keeps changing as I go to different screens. It bounces to 150 and I have to cycle it thru 100 and then 125. It will not stay at 125 and I cannot find a solution to the problem. In fact when I ask a HP forum for 'zoom level' I get no responses. Sometimes the screen will be at 150 but the zoom level indicates it is at 125. I unchecked PINCH ZOOM in the mouse setting for Synaptics Touch Pad Device but it had no affect. In Opions, advanced settings I have checked the Reset Zoom Level (but could that be a problem?) This just started after I removed a program that was not working correctly.

zoom level keeps changing as i am typing..hate it sometimes to goes clear down to the lowest level..also i can't set the blinking curser to stop..it disapears when i go to use it..this is my second hp laptop and my other one did the same thing..drives me crazy....

Nosquint's Global zoom level setting can not be saved

I change the Global zoom level setting 140 from 150, and it works a 140. after I quit FF and back again, the Global zoom level is changed back to 150 again, it seems that can not be saved. it is working under V21

You can check for problems with preferences.<br />
Rename or delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js and user.js files to reset all prefs to the default value.

You can rename the content-prefs.sqlite file to content-prefs.sqlite.old (or delete the file) in the Firefox profile folder to reset the page zoom for all websites.

Menu directory setting does not stay when I set it.

I am using 6.1. I changed the location of the library directory (under tools options) and at first I thought I also wanted my menu directory to be in the same place. So I set that way and closed LV and restarted. Later I decided that I wanted the menu library to be the default. It lets me change it but when I close and reopen LV it goes back to the directory being used by the library directory setting. I can only get it to stay at the default if I also set the library to default. I've also tried setting everything to default and closed LV and restarted and then changed just the library directory, closed and reopened but still the menu directory goes back to the new library directory setting. What can I do? '
Summary: I want the library directory to be at my chosen location but the menu directory to be the default. How do I do that?

It is my understanding that the menu directory must be a subdirectory of the library directory. Consequently if you change the library directory the default menu directory is not in library directory's path and LabVIEW ignores it.

What format etc. are the video clips and what were they shot on?

How to hold back zoom level setting?

Zoom level changes every time with opening page, & I want to keep already set zoom level ,as it happens in other browsers like Google Crome.How to keep zoom level always set ,at it's selected level? The Firefox [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Page+Zoom Page Zoom] feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox, as with some other browsers.

Result set does not fit; it contains too many rows

Dear All,
We are in BI7 and running reports on Excel 2007. Even though number of rows limitation in Excel 2007 is more than 1Million, when I try to execute a report with more than 65k records of output, system is generating output only for 65k rows with message "Result set does not fit; it contains too many rows".
Our Patch levels:
GUI - 7.10
Patch level is 11
Is there any way to generate more than 65000 rows in Bex?

This has been discussed on the forums - for reasons of backward compatibility I do not think BEx supports more that 65000 rows .... I am still not sure about the same since I have not tried out a query with more that 65K rows on excel 2007 but I think this is not possible...

In Our case, we created a new PERSON TYPE in HR and we forgot to add this type to OTL Preferences.
So in the above scenario:
Go to US OTL Application Developer -> Preferences ->
In the Eligibility Tab. add new row
Name of Rule => any unique name
Name of Branch => enter the name of an existing branch which the time card preferences are going to be the same.
Link By => We use Person Type... You can choose PERSON here but i would not know why you would want to do that
Linked To => Person Type you want to have this for
Precedence => Unique Number
From => make sure to enter an earlier date especially when people are required to enter older than todays timecard since this field defaults to today.
If you totally dont have or want to build a new preference, then you will have to go to the Preference Tab and create a new branch.
in ours, we have Timekeeper and TimeStore and Employees
in Timekeeper -> we have timekeeper timecard layout
in TimeStore -> we have approval style, entry level processing rule, time entry rule groups, timestore retrieval rule group
in Employees -> all we have is really those preferences we;d like to see. Date Format, Enter Negative Hours, Enter Override Approver, Number of Empty Rows, Timecard Delete Allowed, Timecard Layout, Number of Recent Timecards displayed, timecard status allowing edits.

Control does not stay in case structure while using motion VIs

Hi,
I have a motion control card PCI 7344 connected to my PC. I am able to control the motor at the required speed till the required position using an encoder. Now I have put my motion control VIs in a case structure in such a way that, if Case1 is selected then the motor should to position P at speed S, if case 2 is selected then the motor should move to position Q at speed S and if case3 is selected then the motor should to position R at speed S. I am selecting cases 1,2,3 etc. by scanning a set of numbers seperated by spaces which look like this,
1 2 5 7 3
This number scanning is done using a while loop. Now, when the first number is scanned in the above set of numbers. The number 1 is obtained and the control is switched to case1. But before the motor reaches position P, the control switches to case2 and before completing the execution, the program scans case5 and so on. That means that the control does not stay till the move in the case 1 is completed. I'm sure there must be a way to retain the control to a case and stop the next number to be scanned before the functions in the particular are completely executed. I thought of one method, i.e. by using the move complete VI provided in LabVIEW, but I could not implement it. Please help me out with this.

Hi,
Our motion controllers allow you to preemptively start a move in the middle of a current move. For example if you are moving from point A to B and based on some logic, you determine you need to immediately start moving to point C. A preemptive move allows you to just load the new target position and call start. You do NOT have to first stop the current move and then start the new move.
In your case, you want the first move to complete before the second move starts. There are two ways to handle this. First, wait for the move to complete via a Wait For Move Complete function/VI call, or use the Check For Move Complete function/VI in a loop. Second, use Blend Start instead of the regular start. A Blend Start (if blend factor is set to 0) waits for the first move to complete before the second move starts.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Since upgrading to 6.1, my iPhone 4 does not stay connected to my network. I have to input my password each time I leave my house. My other devices stay connected, so the issue is with the upgrade. Has anyone found a way to keep their IPhone connected to their network? Thanks.

I don't have another phone to try. I took out the sim to check for deffects but it looked fine. Cleaned the sim card with alcohol and cleaned the aim compartment. Phone didn't loose Internet connection all day yesterday, but this morning went to check emails and wouldn't update until I turned airplane mode on then off again.

Iphone does not stay connected to wi-fi.

When using apps or when in sleep mode my iphone does not stay connected to my wi-fi. All other items within the house have no issues with staying connected to my wi-fi.

By design, when entering sleep mode, the iPhone will disconnect from WiFi to conserve battery. If you want the WiFi connection to remain persistent, plug your phone into a power source.

Cannot save password-screen does not stay open long enough

Cannot log into company intranet or home voice mail. Asks for a password and cannot save it as the save password dialogue box does not stay open long enough to click on it. Works fine on other locations
