Zoom to certain area in recording or editing

Can Captivate 5 Windows do the zoom function like the one above? What application can do that on Windows if not Captivate?

If you are referring to the circular area where the zoom occurs, I believe this is something unique to an application called ScreenFlow. It's a Mac only application as far as I know.

Or just select the hair and make the adjustments directly. Some refer to this as "destructive" editing, but I prefer to consider it "constructive".

Pixels appear incomplete in certain areas within text. The words are blurry like the pixels haven't fully opened...

text appears blurred only in certain areas. When you mouse over the text or highlight the text then remove the highlighting the text becomes crystal clear or sharp and will stay that way.

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
*Click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
*In the Firefox options window click the ''Advanced'' tab, then select "General".
*In the settings list, you should find the ''Use hardware acceleration when available'' checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
*Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:

Disabling Alterations to Certain Areas

I managed to set up contribute to enable text and/or image
alterations quite easily.
However, I want to restrict the user, so that they can only
edit certain areas of text etc.
Can anyone point me into the right direction?

IPhone 5 incoming calls go straight to voicemail in certain areas

I know that this issue has been reported by many users in this and other forums, but I thought I would share my story too.
I have a iphone 5 that is exhibiting the following issues:
- When I am downtown Boston and certain areas in MA, incoming calls go straight to voicemail. The phone does not ring and the only way to tell if people called me is if they leave a voicemail
- When I make calls, my phone numbers shows as blocked at the receiving end. So if people block anonymous calls then I won't be able to call them
I opened a ticket with VZW and this is what has been done so far to no avail:
- Got a replacement phone
- Changed the SIM card
- Verizon Re-provisionned the phone number
- Disabled LTE
- Reset Network Settings
- Power cycle the phone (many many times)
Verizon said my issue is due to network extenders in the area. Well, if this is true then thousands of VZW customers would have this issue as network extenders are all over the place in Boston. So far VZW does not have a solution to my problem.
My next step is to reactivate my old iPhone 4S to see if it is a iPhone5 issue or something else. will keep you posted.

If they say they did, ask them to re-provision the account. Sometimes errors occur and the account is not provisioned correctly, even though features are included in your plan according to the billing system.

My photos are stuck in the editing view

All of my photos are stuck in the editing view and I am unable to return to thumbnail view. I can move to different "events" and photos, but they are all in the editing view. When I select view and then go to thumbnails, the options are unavailable. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I probably didn't explain the problem clearly.
When I open an event I would like to see the collection of photos, in thumbnail version. Since last night, the photos are in the large view - one photo at a time. I have to scroll through them to find the photo I want. This is the case in all of my events and albums.
When I go to the view tab and click on thumbnails, the options are unavailable - they are there, but are light grey and they aren't accessible when I click on them.
When I refered to my photos being stuck in the editing view, I should have said they are stuck in the large view, showing one photo at a time only.

In SharePoint 2013, some of the userswith contribute or full control rights are not able to edit and save office doucuments to SharePoint library.

In SharePoint 2013, Office 2010 and IE 8. Office web apps is not configured.
Some users with Contribute or full control are not able to edit and save documents back to SharePoint library.
When they try to save they are getting following error:
1. https://.....pptx is read-only. Do you want to save changes to a different file name?
2. Project canot access "https://...."
Try one of the following
The file may be temporarily open by another program. wait a momoment and try again.
A file with the same name may already exists. Save it with a different file name.
You may be trying to save to a read only folder. Save to a different folder instead.
Please help me with this issue.

Thanks again for quick response.
I have requested users who are having this issue to try check in/ check out, and share the results.
Result with CheckIn/CheckOut:
User was able to check out but no edit option.
'Edit Document' option under 'Files' tab was greyed out. I did check permissions every thing seems fine he has full control over the site and document library.
Please advise.

Find certain areas of text from a text file

Hello all java Gurus! I need your help on something I am trying to do in order to learn java. I am very newbie and please show mercy if I don't understand every answer you probably give me. Here is my problem. I have text file with certain areas I need to "isolate" (to insert the data in a jTable after I solve this first).
Let's say we have the following data in a text file:
FILE IS "A.txt"

this is 1 line in first
this is 2 line in first
this is 3 line in first
***second***
this is 1 line in second
this is 2 line in second
this is 3 line in second
***third***
this is 1 line in third
this is 2 line in third
this is 3 line in third
**************I now need to read the "segment" that start with " *** blablabab *** " and ends with " ************** " and store the lines of this segment to another text file "B.txt".
So "B.txt" has let's say this "segment".

this is 2 line in second
this is 3 line in second
**************How can I do this? I know how to read/write from/to a text file with FileReader and BufferReader but I have no idea how to experiment with this. Is there anyone who can give me a hint or a help to start?

block at a time? This will be stored then to an

KostasRegular expressions have a somewhat steep learning curve but they are worthy the effort, they are fast and powerfull text finding tools, the whole idea is that you search the text for some pattern. I will provide you a sample code, it is half way to solve your problem, you will have to make some minor adjustements to use it you your real application(none in the RE itself I hope).
To understand it, look at the Pattern class documentation and the Matcher class documentation in the API.

Warp certain areas in a photo, PLEASE help.

I know that PSE 9 does not come with a "warp" feature (in transform or free transform).
Example scenario: In a photo of a face, I want to flatten or extend his nose.
Is it possible to select a certain area of photo and distort that area. Or any suggestion.

Ah..."Mesh Warp" was the phrase I was trying to think of. Thanks for jogging my memory.
You can select an area in the photo and have the Liquefy distortion only affect that selected area. The distortion won't go beyond the selected area, however.

In general theory, one now has the Edit button for their posts, until someone/anyone Replies to it. I've had Edit available for weeks, as opposed to the old forum's ~ 30 mins.
That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.

I'm thinking I can convert the files with Compressor and place them in a new folder with their original file names (not sure how to get compressor to do this yet) and then do a major "Reconnect Clip" afterwards.
Not sure if there's a more efficient way to get all the clips in the timeline to compressor. I want the full files, not a sequence export. I can go through one clip and a time and add the master file. I'd rather not.
The more automated processes the better.

yeah Media reconnect can be an issue.
Will Media Manager convert files? Another thing I was thinking was to Media Manage the sequence out, copying all the used files to a new folder, and then running that through compressor. But it still leads to a massive reconnect. Fine tuning all those edits would be less involved than re-editing the whole thing, I hope.

We are using a tab strip ui element in webdynpro component. But user changes inside tab strip ui element are not getting recorded to the context change log. I have an input field on the same view besides tab strip ui element. User changes to this input field are getting recorded to the context change log.
Is there any restriction on context change log usage with tab strip ui element?
Could you please suggest If there is any way to record changes inside tab strip ui element.

I think there are some limitations exists, context change logs are not complete when you do value help , i am not sure about tab strip.

Lightroom 4 - My Nik filters are not in the Edit version of Elements when I want to edit with cmd+E.

Lightroom 4 - My Nik filters are not in the Edit version of Elements when I want to edit a picture from the Lightroom Bibliotheque with cmd+E, because Ligthtroom use a back up copy of Ellements 11 that is on an extern back up drive (i don't understand how that is possible). My Nik filters are not on that drive but well on my Mac's Hard Disc.
How can I tell to Lightroom to use the Mac's Hard Disc version that is in the Dock ?

Of course my Nik filters are why the Dock version of my Mac.
The question is that I don't know why, Lightroom when I want to edit a picture in Elements (cmd+e), Lightroom start un security copy of Elements that I have put on my extern hard disk and that copy is without the Nik filters.
So how can I tell to Lightroom NOT to use the version of Element that is on extern hard disk but the original version on the hard disk of my Mac in the map Applications ?

Your video calls are not recorded or stored anywhere. Sent or received Video Messages are saved on Skype servers. Be aware that Video Messages have nothing to do with your regular video calls.
