Zoom to percent without hitting enter?

Just upgraded to PS CS6, and am having a problem manually entering a value for the magnification level in the status bar (same goes for Navigator panel).
Is it supposed to automatically zoom to the amount entered without hitting enter/return? For example, if I want 25%, the box will read 2%5 and tells me my value is invalid by the time I hit return (the document will go to 2% automatically before I hit the 5). I can find nothing on this anywhere online, and the documentation mentions typing a number then having to press enter/return. Is this a feature? A glitch? Can it be disabled/fixed?
I am running a Mac and small Cintiq with an on-screen keyboard (so typing speed is slow and screen area at a premium), and the button on the pen (set to be an 'option' key) sticks on occasion (if this adds anything helpful).
Please help! You'll be my hero.

  • Possible to hit enter on table cell & retrieve data without selecting line?

    Hi All,
We're using ECC6.  I  I have a situation where the user wants to be able to hit a cell in a table which will then fire a report and pass the contents of that cell to the report.
So far I have been only able to get this working when the row is highlighted, I can easily pick up the values from the lead selection.  But the user does not want to have to highlight a row every time to run the report.  The user just wants to hit return a cell and for the report to be updated with the value in that cell.
So, I'm just wondering if it is possible to hit enter in any table cell and retrive the data without highlighting the row?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Liz.

    Hi,
You want complete row data or perticular cell data??
Basic q's, without selecting a row how can we get data? without selecting means you get complete data on table,
In that case which data you have to pass to report?
Or if you dont want to select data means, create one more field of type button. so in thins button action get that row data
and call report from here itself.
    Cheers,
    Kris.

  • How to get the vlaue from an input field without hitting the enter button ?

    Hello All,
Is there some way to read the values of an input field that was filled in by an user eg ..
    String userEntry = wdContect.<UIElement>.value;
So far, I am only able to achieve this using the onEnter property whoch really is not very user friendly since I can only read in the values only if the user hits enter.
Any help will be appreciated.  Thank you.

    2. Create a value attribute (MyText) in the view context
    3. Map view context attribute to controller context attribute
    4. Create InputField in the view and map the "value" attribute to the MyText view context attribute
    5. Create Action on view (Send)

  • ME21N - system erase the plant code when hit enter on PO creation

    Dear friends,
When we are in the Purchase order (ME21N) and we enter , vendor, material code, plant etc and hit Enter, the system erases the field PLANT, and set it to BLANK and issue a message ME083 - Enter plant.
The plant exists in the table T001W.
does anyone saw something like this in the past ?
    best regards,
    Alessandro

    Dear Diwakar
You are 100% right, the plant is without address number.
After create the address in OX10 the problem is now solved.
    thanks.

  • Clearing items upon hitting "Enter Query"

I have a detail block with 5 fields in each record. There are five non-database items on the form to display the current record in this detail block. Upon moving the cursor to a different record in the block, the new record's fields are displayed in these non-database items.
What is required is that upon hitting "enter query" on this detail block, these non-database item fields become cleared also.
    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
    Ammar

this approach is not recommended as I think that these built-ins cause problems on some platforms (the go_block built-in)Never heard of such problems. If thisis so, then no forms-application would run on that platform, for forms also uses GO_BLOCK for master-details-relationships.
The easiest way to achieve your functionality (without any coding) would be to do the following:
Delete your second datablock with the non-database-items.
Duplicate the items in the databaseblock you want to show in a detail-area.
Set No. of tems displayed to 1 on these items.
Move the items in the layout to the desired position.
Set the poperty "Synchronize with" for each item so that it matches the item it should get the value from.
    Thats all.

  • Having to hit enter after input field

In one of our application once the users has input data in a
field, they do not hit Enter but rather they click on a button. In
Captivate 3, is there a way to validate that input entry without
having to ask the user to hit Enter (hitting enter doesn't happen
    in the apps).
    thanks in advance.

    Welcome to our community, Jack
Indeed you may configure Captivate to do exactly what you
need. If you double-click your Text Entry Box object and look at
the Options tab, you will find a check box allowing you to also
display a Button that is related to the Text Entry Box. The Button
is then used for validation. Note that the Button may also be
customized and made transparent so that you may overlay an image of
the application Button to achieve the same look and feel.

  • Jdev11.1.1.3 - SelectManyChoise loosing last chosen value when hit ENTER

    Hi,
I have a QBE on a table and for one column I used a selectManyChoice component. When user selects a set of values from the selectManyChoice and hits "enter" IMMEDIATELY , the last chosen value in the list of values chosen is lost and filter is being applied on the remaining values. The same usecase is working fine, if user selects a set of values from the selectManyChoice and highlights either the filter input area or some other area on the UI - technically when he tabs out of the lov.
I do have autoSubmit property set to true. Debugged using valueChangeListener, even that is getting fired only when I tab out or hit enter. I am only concerned abt the case where in user hits enter immediately without tabbing out of selectManyChoice. In this case, even the valueChangeEvent shows me that the last chosen value is already lost. Also I observed that valueChangeListener is getting fired only after tabbing out or hitting enter. Is it not possible to listen to every event of selection/deselection in selectManyChoice ?
    Any pointers plz ?

First of all "I installed 11.1.2.3 in windows 7 ultimate OS", it is not a supported OS so if you want assistance problem solving you should stick with a supported OS.
It also looks like you have installed a whole range of products some requiring additional configuration and the requirement of SOA.
I recommend starting with a support OS and only install products that are required.
    Cheers

  • Capture keyboard characters without hitting return key

Is it possible to get a keyboard key typed character without requiring the user to enter the RETURN key?
For example, the user press a key and the screen will echo the key pressed in console mode, not in GUI mode.

Is it possible to get a keyboard key typed character
without requiring the user to enter the RETURN key?The shell that's running in your console window will not give the kay strokes to the rpogram until the human hits enter/return. This is so the shell can do all the editing (EG backspace, etc).
In unix you can put the console in 'raw' mode which lets every key stroke through. See the 'stty' command

  • ICWC - hit Enter, values are gone

    Hi Experts,
I have my own customized view in Service Ticket of ICWC containing date and time fields.
When I choose to create new Service Ticket, my view would be displayed with inital date and time. After population of these fields, I hit Enter on the keyboard - the data and time doesnt store the values entered, instead, the values were cleared. How should I go about retaining the values there during a hit on Enter without saving these values into the BOL yet? Thanks

  • If I am on Website A, where/how can I simply enter the address for Website B and hit Enter to get there?

Firefox appears to have made some changes in the last couple of weeks. In the past, if I were on, say, the Bank of America website, bankofamerica.com would appear in one of the lines at the top left portion of the screen. When I finished my business with B of A, I could erase or overtype that address, type in the address of the website I wanted to visit next-- americanexpress.com, ubs.com, etc.,--hit Enter, and I would be connected to the new website. It appears to me that this capability no longer exists; if it does, I don't know how to use it. I also cannot find any back or forward arrows allowing one to move between screens. If the features I've mentioned are, in fact, still available, please tell me how to use them.

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible:

Open the Customize window to set which toolbar items to display:
    *View > Toolbars > Customize

*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar

  • Selection screen field is not populated without pressing "Enter"

    Hello All,
I am calling a report from module pool using SUBMIT statement. I have defined a selection screen as subscreen on module pool screen. On this selection screen i have a select option S_BUKRS. When I input company code 1000 and just press execute button on module pool, it is taking me to the report output. But S_BUKRS is not filled before the submit statement and hence report is executing as if S_BUKRS is initial.
I put a breakpoint and saw that the field S_BUKRS is not filled before calling the repot.
I re-ran the transaction (module pool) and this time after inputting 1000 in S_BUKRS I pressed enter and then pressed execute button. Now the value is transferred to report since S_BUKRS[] is filled.
Do I need to press enter key after inputting the values on the selection screen everytime; before pressing the execute button?
What could be the issue and how can I resolve it?
I am calling the report in PAI of module pool using statement SUBMIT ZREPORT1 WITH s_bukrs IN s_bukrs AND RETURN.
    Thanks,
    Sandeep

I believe, you should be able to caputre the value of S_BUKRS in AT SELECTION-SCREEN event even if the user executes the program with out hitting Enter key. Make sure that you are including the CALL SUBSCREEN <area> statement in the PAI as the first statement.
