Zoom while in title panel?

Using Premiere Pro CS6, when creating a Title -> New Title -> Default Still, how do you zoom in that panel? I'm trying to add a shape and need to zoom in so i can make it the same size as the object on the video screen below, but i don't see any way for me to zoom in. The area where i can add shapes or text appears to just be a percentage of my title panel. No way to zoom in to let's say 800%? Thanks in advance for any help.

hmm, wierd, it seems like it'd be useful, weird that you can't zoom. the Tilde trick helped some but still wish i could zoom in tighter. Thanks for confirming it's not included.

Error while duplicating a panel with control dynamically associated to a splitter

When you try to duplicate a panel where a control has been dynamically created and associated to a splitter, you receive error -153: Item is already attached to splitter control.
See attached project which shows this behaviour: you can move the splitter and have controls moved accordingly; you can also duplicate the panel whith the splitter fully operative. If you press "Duplicate Numeric" button, existing numeric is duplicated and the new control is attached to the splitter. After this, trying to duplicate the panel generates error -153. If you duplicate the control but do not add it to the splitter no error is received while duplicating the panel.
Tested in CVI2009SP1. There is no evidence of this error in Known Issues document for later versions.

Thanks for the nicely stripped down test program! Easy to reproduce bugs are a rare pleasure...
I did confirm the bug, which has been there since CVI 7.1. It is triggered by the presence, at the time that the panel is copied, of a splitter-attached control, which was itself duplicated from another control that had been loaded from a UIR (whether or not the original control is also attached to the splitter). Whew. That was long.
In simpler terms, it's not the fact that the control was dynamically attached to the splitter that is causing the problem. It's the fact that the control was duplicated from another control.
The problem happens because a duplicated control inherits the constant name of the original control. Normally, this is not a problem for runtime-only controls. However, the splitter was still assuming that constant names of its attached controls were all unique, and that's what caused the problem.
Bug id: 392640
Unfortunately, there isn't a great workaround, since you can't prevent the duplicated control from inheriting the constant name, nor can you change its constant name after the fact. I can think of two possibilities:
Don't duplicate the control. Create it using NewCtrl instead, and then apply the necessary configurations.
Temporarily detach the duplicate control from the splitter prior to copying the panel, then attach it back (in both the original panel and the duplicated panel) after the panel copy.

You can't. Zoom is not available in video mode. What you saw on online was either a third-party app from the app store or a jailbroken phone.

The problem is after minimising the panel......
After minimizing the panel to left corner bottom also... a part of pdf window is still visible.....
Pls guide me ..... hwy is this happening....

Zooming in a title.

Hi Guys, Just wonderd how I can zoom in a title without the background following the transition too. Say i make a title, it has a black background by default and i want just the text to zoom in using the zoom transition, how do I stop the black background doing it too. Ive tried putting a black layer at a parralell point on a different video track but that doesn't work. Any ideas?

Actually, a title has NO background, by default. It may appear to be black, depending on where the CTI is located in the timeline. You can toggle the background visibility and select the visible frame using the following controls in the Titler:
If you DO indeed have a black background, you must have drawn a rectangle filled with black--select and delete that so that the title "floats" over whatever background you place it on.
I want just the text to zoom in using the zoom transition, how do I stop the black background doing it too.
Don't use a transition for this manuever; animate Scale properties, instead:
Since the title has an alpha channel (e.g. transparent background), when you animate the scale, only it will move.

If you mean when scrolling through the pictures with photo viewer, the only way I was able to do it was with the volume key. Up - zooms in & Down - zooms out
I know it is kind of awkward but that is the only way so far.

No. Zoom only applies to still pictures. Not that it makes much of a difference as it is just digital zoom anyway. If you want to focus in on something in a video, use video editing software. The result will be the same.

I apologies. I was under the assumption that others reading my question would think if I was talking about iMovie I have it on my iPad and I never clarified thank you for pointing that out. Disable zoom while in guided access mode

Anyone know of a way to disable zoom (Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Zoom) while in guided access mode? Yes, it can be done manually prior to entering guided access mode but I'm looking for something more automatic. My child has the uncanny ability of getting into zoom repeatedly while playing.

I don't exactly understand your issue but if your stuck in guided access press and hold the power and home until you see your device turns off keep holding then when you see the apple startup logo let go (this is called a hard reset or a respring) this will force you out of guided access and into the home screen where you can unlock the device with out being stuck in guided access
