Zooming out more than 100%

Is there a way to zoom out, not crop, to a lower percentage than 100? I want to make the image smaller.

You can change the dimensions (length x breadth) and the compression of a file on export using the File -> Export dialogue.

  • I would like to know why ASC removed my comments and pleads saying they were rantings?  Maybe so, but if you received more than 100 emails a day, you would too! I have done all the right things to not receive these emails but to no avail. Can someone help?

For months now I have been puting up with receiving emails generated from Apple Support Communities - sometimes more than 100 a day. Needless to say I am angry.  I have done everything I have been told to do so as not to receive them BUT they still keep on coming all day and all night.  It is messing up my sytem and taking too much time out of my busy day.  When I responded to another person's same problem, I immediately received an email from Apple Support Communities telling me that they have removed my responses from Apple Support Communities!  This, after only one day, when I have been writing and requesting help to have these emails stop from cloging up my email!  Of course I am upset and now even more.
Please, if someone knows how to stop these emails from entering my box, I would really appreciate hearing.  In the meantime I continue to delete one by one.Linda166

  • I bought a MacBook Pro Retina a few months ago.  I do not understand why I have more than 100 GB of Others in my storage?  Can anyone please explain?

My MacBook Pro with Retina display suddenly gave me a message when I boot up ie 'Your startup Disk is full'  then after using a few more times, the screen suddenly become frozen white.  Upon getting help, I managed to delete some files but when I checked the Storage space, the largest occupied space was orange color, named 'Others' which is more than 100 GB out of the total 120 GB!!  I am surprised and do not understand what 'Others' mean.  It is definitely not Audio, Video, Pictures, documents etc  It is not mail too.  If anyone can tell me what 'Others' in storage mean and how to see the contents of 'Others' so that I can delete those irrelevant files.  Any advice and guidance is very much appreciated.  Thanking you in anticipation of your early reply.
    Joe

"Other" includes everything that is not audio, movies, photos, apps and backups.  In other words it includes the OS, mail, documents...  See http://pondini.org/OSX/LionStorage.html and What is "Other" and What Can I Do About It?- Apple Support Communities https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-5142

  • Outofmemory while creating a new object of file with size more than 100 MB

I have created an application which generates a report by getting the data from our archived files (.zip file).By the time, the application is reaching a file with size more than 100 mb, it is running out fo memory while creating the object of that particular file. Can some one help me by tellin if there id way to resolve this issue?
    Thanks in advance

If you're getting OutOfMemoryError, the simplest thing to try is to give the VM more memory at startup. For Sun's VM, I believe the default is 64 MB. You can increase this by using the -X args that control the heap size. For example: java -Xms128m -Xmx256m ... etc. ... This says start with 128 MB of heap, and allow it to grow up to 256 MB.
One thing to consider, though, is do you need that much stuff in memory at once? A more intelligent approach might be to unpack the archive to the file system, and then read a file at a time or a line at a time or a whatever at a time is appropriate for the processing you need to do.

  • The efficiency value in the dashboard is more than 100% in Project server 2010

The efficiency value in the dashboard is more than 100% in Project server 2010. As I have admin access trying to find out what could be the issue. Please reply if there is any suggestion on this.

    Hi Chaishashi,
Efficiency isn't a value that is standard in Project Server 2010, and so it is likely that what you are viewing is a custom report.  I suggest you contact the report author to resolve this issue.

  • Is there a way to zoom out further than the website's width?

Especially in android browsers some websites have really big fonts etc. so that very few content can be shown on the screen without scrolling around. To get a better overview of the site, is it in any way possible to zoom out further than the width of a web page? I can pinch zoom out further than the site's width but it will zoom back in again as soon as i let go of the screen.
The only alternative at the moment is to rotate the tablet vertically, because then, when zooming out to the site's width, it is of course displayed a lot smaller.
I really wonder that there's not more people that find the inability to zoom out really annoying. okay, android made its start with smartphones where the main focus is zooming in, but still...we got 2k displays in our 10inch tablets and we make no use of that resolution at all...

I'm afraid that this isn't currently possible.
There are a number of desktop Firefox add-ons that will allow default zoom out options. For example [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/ Deafult FullZoom Level]. It might be worth asking if they plan to bring their add-on to Firefox for Android.
    I hope that helps.

  • Dynamic Calc member has more than 100 children

In my db, I've a dynamic calc member, in say hierarchy Accounts, that has more than 100 members under it (children).
I'm using MaxL scripts to update the Accounts hierarchy i.e. adding new members, tagging UDA's etc.
However, the MaxL command is erroring out with a Network Error: Cannot Recieve/Send data. I understand if I try doing the update via
EAS and try to save the outline, it gives me the more than 100 children warning but still allows me to save it but via MaxL I cannot force
    it to do so.
This is just a warning and shouldn't MaxL still save the outline? Is there something else that am missing or is there any solution for this issue.
This is a Sparse dimension. More members will be added to the hierarchy monthly, thereby not reducing the count below hundred.
Any help/advise is much appreciated. Thanks.
    @deepak

I am envisioning an entire sparse Accounts dimension with all of the upper levels dynamic. If it is like most accounts dimensions I have seen it has a lot of level zero members and a lot of parent rollups. looking at top level members could be very slow (relative to if they were calculated or dense). We have all done interesting things in our cubes to gain some performance measure trading off calculation and retrieval performance. Doing something like this is an area where a testing is crital

  • Flex file upload more than 100 MB

    Hi,
Is there possibly any method where I can upload file to the server which are more than 100 MB?
I've gone through the nice piece of code demonstrated at here : http://www.zehnet.de/2009/02/23/flex-fileupload-component/ , where it shown how we can upload files in chunks to the server following FP10, but it also limits to the FP max limit of 100 MB. I've also gone through the discussion followed at: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/494366 , where a process been discussed where FP first reads a defined amount of bytes from a file, loads them and upload them and then go for the rest of the bytes, following openAsync() method for FileMode.READ, but which is only available in AIR. So, I wonder, if there could possibly any way to upload more than of 100 MB files in chunks to the server in browser mode of the Flash Player.
    Thanks for any coming suggestions.
    Rgds,

Long time no see vet. Your problem sucks. I would go to sun site review there articles on JVM tunning. To solve this problem you will need to change the command line arguments to JVM to increase the heap space.
    java -Xms<initial heap size> -Xmx<maximum heap size>
Defaults are usually: java -Xms32m -Xmx128m
-Xm*s* - initial java heap size
-Xm*x* - maximum java heap size
-Xm*n* - the size of the heap for the young generation
This is a good article: http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Programming/turbo/
Also, if this solves your problem please check it off so I can get some points. I've been out of the game for awhile.

  • IChatAgent takes more than 100% of CPU

The iChatAgent takes more than 100% of CPU. It works normally for 10-15min with little CPU usage but then takes 100% of CPU and stays like that until I quit/kill the process. I tried waiting for hours to see it might go down is usage, but no, and the cpu fan remains on continuously.
I simply use it for text based chatting, and have disabled audio, video, microphone etc, and still this behavior that I can't use it for more than 15min.
Here is the iChat version: Version 5.0.3 (745)
    Macbook Pro/10.6.4/Intel Core i7
I have tried removing ~/Library/preferences/com.apple.iChatAgent.plist as suggested elsewhere, and that hasn't helped either.

    Thanks again Ralph.
No, I do not have any add-ons, just out-of-the-box ichat without any audio, video in use.
At this stage unfortunately, I can't continue using iChat as it hogs up the CPU in less than 15min. And that I do not experience any problem with other chat-clients such as AIM or jabber, so switching over to those until there is a resolution.

  • Windows 8 OS taking up more than 100 GB on my new yoga 11s

I don't know how to solve this.  I feel like I need an advanced degree in computer science to deal with all this windows 8 frustration.  I have a new 11s yoga--well not new enough or it would be going back to Best Buy.  I barely have anything downloaded on it, but the windows 8OS is taking up more than 100 GB on my system.  It has barely any memory left, I is showing in RED and warning me sometimes to close other apps.  I noticed that windows 64 bit only requires 20gb to download--why in the world is mine taking dangerously high levels of my GB?  Please help.

Windows 8 should not use anywhere near that much memory.  I have a Yoga 13 which should be fairly similar, and there is only 31GB used on the harddisk, and this additionally includes half a dozen games, Microsoft Office, and a few more apps.
Have a look at how much memory all the installed Apps are using, you can do this from the Metro interface by sweeping in from the right hand side of the screen, selecting Settings, then choose "Change PC settings", choose "Search and apps", then choose "App sizes", this will allow you to identify if there is one application that has used up all the disk space.
You can also find the size of all the applications installed from the Control Panel (access by typing "control panel" in search box after sweeping in from the right in Metro), select Programs, then "Programs and features", then click on the column header "Size" to see if there are any installed applications taking up all the hard disk.
Another option is to go to the Desktop, open the File Explorer, then click in the search box to the upper right.  This will open the Search toolbar, within which is a drop down entitled "Size", click on this and select "Gigantic>128MB".  This will display any large files, for example on my Yoga there is a single file "MEMORY.DMP" that is 543MB.  Have a look and see if there are any really large files that are using up your hard disk space.
Another couple of thoughts, do have any external personal audio/video devices that are synced with the computer? For example if you have an MP3 player with 64GB of memory that is full of music that you have synced with the computer then that would fill the remaining hard disk space.
I understand it can seem a little daunting trying to work out what is going on, personally I think it is worth perservering as the Yoga is a really nice laptop.  You of course have to realise that it is a very advanced piece of technology and software, but in being that advanced by definition it does mean that it is not as simple to operate as a lot of consumer gadgets.
Good luck in working out what is using up all the hard disk space.

  • Capacity table showing more than 100 % load

    Hi,
    We are using SNP optimizer
In one of the runs we have observed that the capacity of the resource is getting overloaded more than 100% but when we check in the optimizer log the log shows load of only 100%
Can you please help me to understand why there is no consistency between log of optimizer and capacity table
    Regards
    Abhi

    Abhi,
You have the answer.  just need to find the data.  The optimizer is loading the resource to what it thinks is one hundred percent.
It is either not seeing all the orders loaded on that resource, or has a different available capacity then is shown in the book.
A classic problem here is reviewing the results in a different planning book then you ran the optimizer.  For example if you ran the optimizer in a monthly bucket book and you are viewing the results in a weekly book.  1 out of 4 weeks will be very overloaded.
Carefully compare your optimizer log to the details of your planning book  you should find the difference.

  • How can I see more than 100 users when adding users to a node?

When adding new users through the User Management interface, only the
first 100 entries are listed. How do I increase the number of entries
so I can see the next hundred (or more) users? Is this done via the server
    configuration parameter maxsearchresult?
    <P>
The GUI Add User to Node option was meant for infrequent adds in smaller
environments. In large deployments (more than 100 user adds at a time), you
should be using the command line script "unidsattach". See the Administrators
Guide for more details on the command.
    <p>
The parameter, maxsearchresult, is meant to limit the number of users that can
be returned on a search request by the calendar client. For example, if you have
1000's of calendar users and someone tries to search for all of them, this
parameter will make sure that the user is not left waiting a long time for
    results.

In Settings > Notification Center, try turning "on" all the six buttons under "Today View".  Also turn "on" the top two buttons under "Access on Lock Screen".  Doing that should show you "Tomorrow" at the bottom of Noticiation Center.

  • Smart form: Spool to PDF Conversion more than 100 pages.

    Hi folks,
I have an issue with Function Module (FM) CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF when the report to be converted has more than 100 pages.....i have explained this scenario as below
We have been using the FM CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF to convert ABAP report to PDF file and then send this via mail using FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.....
PDF conversion using FM CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF works well if the number of report pages is less than 100....i.e the table pdf of the FM will contain the output as expected.....
If the report has more than 100 pages, the the FM CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF will schedule the conversion job as a background job and returns with a SY-subrc eq 0 and the table parameter pdf will ne empty.
Could you suggest me a woorkaround in this situtaion...i.e how do I then get the output of the background job
And  any process to convert Spool to PDF if having more than 100 pages.
    Thanks in Advance............

    Pb,
If the report has more than 100 pages, the the FM CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF will schedule the conversion job as a background job and returns with a SY-subrc eq 0 and the table parameter pdf will ne empty
i would suggest you to if pages are more than 100 than you need to send report output to sp01 with spool request number by using fm job_open..job_close..
than from sp01 you can convert pdf by running RSTXPDFT4 in se38.
hope this would solve your problem.
