ZPM License Expired?

The school system I work for renews the license for all Novell Products each year around mid-May. This includes a few ZENworks products like ZPM. Each year I go through a small time frame where ZPM license is incorrect I spend time working with Novell Customer Service to resolve. In some cases Shaun has had to help. I am again at that point in the year where my license is once again showing expired or invalid. What I am wondering is if I am failing to do something correctly during the renewal process that is causing this. I have multiple codes some of which show expired and some show nothing. I have also asked that in the Customer Center area those license codes be cleaned up so that I only see valid license that the school system owns and not everything that was ever looked at for the past 10+ years.
What should I be doing at renewal time to keep my ZPM (and other license) active and running without that small gap? I have asked my accounts clerk if the PO is going through before the due date and she states it is. Although the bill doesn't actually get paid until June.
I know this question is a little off topic but thought I would include it since I haven't received a resolution completely to this. Is there some way to clean up the districts Customer Center license so that only valid license is shown? I think there is at least 6 license for ZPM and it can be difficult to determine which one they wish used. Especially when the code used in the past is showing Expired now.

we do seem to have had more than our fair share of activation issues
recently but I can't pin it down: there may be something broken between
Novell's systems and Lumension's. I've discovered that our front-line
people have been very efficient at fixing these problems, but it's not
been referred back so we can see what the root cause is: I'm working on

From SAP, I am not sure but from OS level, you can easily check it.
You can check Alert Logs in DBACOCKPIT transaction, from there I think you will get some information.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 says license expired on first day of usage.

Downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS4 trial version yesterday(5/22) and install it today 5/23 on a new PC. When I tried to open it, it says license expired...anyone know why? I have uninstalled and re-installed and it says the same thing.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Trial License expiring early

I installed Acrobat9 Pro extended trial version to test out the software and after trying to open a 2nd pdf i recieved a windows system error 0x7e and restarted. After restart I open up Acrobat again to the message of "License expired - please register a license" This installation was only 5 days into the 30 day installation period. This error occurred on the SAME day of installing again after I installed a trial version of Acrobat 9 pro. Please help.
I am unable to install a new copy on my computer.

Evaluation license expiring early

I have setup two instances of the Server 2012 Eval for the purposes of testing the failover clustering system with a legacy Oracle database control system. Because of several mishaps, I was required to reload the OS on each machine at least three times
(DirectAccess/RAS refused to be configured, other annoyances).
The problem is the eval license is failing after 30 days. The server displays a "license expired" indication, and then the machine shuts down unexpectedly or stops RPC communications - which tend to stop the test.
I have tried full MS updates and "registering" the trial to no avail.
The trial has been underway for 45 days or so and the OS reloads stopped after the first two weeks. The first machine dropped off last week (forcing an OS reload), and now the 2nd is having the same issues.
Any suggestions other than recreating the machines and moving really fast?

My build 9431 2012 R2 Datacenter Evaluation install has also expired early.
Is this activation process still out of commission? The emails and website indicate that the preview should last 180 days, but it has only been just over 90 for this install. Any tips for getting rid of the Demi-hourly restarts?

What happens when an Enterprise License expires/is extended?

We run an Apple Enterprise License in our company for 3 iPad apps, and these apps are installed on about 130 iPads between them. Our Enterprise License expires on 19th April 2012 (about 1 month from now). We intend to extend our Enterprise License to 19th April 2013, however I understand the provisioning profiles installed on the iPads have a fixed expiry date. My questions are:
1. If I extend the license, will ALL apps with the current license stop working on 19th April 2012, and ALL users will have to reinstall the app with the new extended license and provisioning profile?
--OR--
Will the apps detect the new extended provisioning profile online and replace the current profile with the new license, thereby removing the need for ANY users to redownload their apps?
2. Also, if I extend our Enterprise License to April 2013, and re-deploy the apps today I imagine that all apps downloaded from today will have the extended license until April 2013. Fine. However what will happen to the apps with the previous licenses expiring April 2012. Will they continue to work until April 19th 2012, or will they get an error message such as 'Your provisioning profile doesn't match the profile associated with your Enterprise license online. Please reinstall'...
If anyone has experience with this, or is from Apple Support, I would really appreciate some expert advice/answers as I need to manage this transition carefully!

a parameter, that is set higher "than allowed" is NEVER replaced by any substitution value !!!
=> if it is correct, it will work - otherwise the system might not drive up or fail otherwise ...
Unfortunately, there are MANY parameters, where you should use values, that are "not allowed" and even a lot of parameters, that are totally unknown - all of them work as you set them ... hopefully with useful values ...

Visual Age 3.5 and Weblogic Intergration Kit (License Expired, please Contact BEA Systems Inc)

I started to run the Weblogic Server on my machine yesterday and I suddenly got
this error:
"License Expired, Please Contact BEA Systems Inc"
This is the message I got on the Visual Age Console:
"Invalid BEA WLS Integration Kit License. Please cantact BEA"
I was able to run Weblogic Server until the past 2 weeks. I tried to re-install
the whole Visual Age 3.5
and as well as the Integration Kit I download from the Weblogic website and I
still get the same
problem. Can somebody help me with this. I haven't upgraded to 3.5.3 yet.

The Kit available from the BEA website is an evaluation version. You need to
contact BEA Sales for a permanent license.

Error 150:30 License Expired. Mac OS X & CS4 and Time Machine

My old Macbook Pro just died and I bought a new Macbook Air. When setting up the Air, I installed everything on the computer from a back up harddrive using Time Machine. Everything on the new computer transfered perfectly except for my Adobe Creative Suite CS4. Everytime I want to open a pdf in Acrobat or an image in Photoshop it give me an Error 150:30 License Expired. I know this license is not expired as I bought full creative suite upfront years ago. It was directly from Adobe and I was sent the package of DVDS. I have since lost the box they came in (****!) and therefore dont have the license number. Is there any other way of looking up this information? ORRRRR is there any way to uninstall and then reinstall from that backup where it won't give me the error message. On one forum I saw that this is a common problem when rebooting a computer from Time Machine, but there was no solution given. Can anyone here give me a better answer? Thank you!

Here's the answer. It works. Just carefully follow the instructions. You will be using Terminal to run the python script for 10.7 and above.

Downloaded CS4 trial and says license expired so it won't run

I downloaded Photoshop CS4 trial yesterday and i tired typing in my dad's photoshop license code. It accepted it then said it was expired. Now photoshop won't open. I tired getting the trial under another email address after i uninstalled the the first trial I downloaded and the new trial still said license expired. Please help. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

If your dad is using both of his activations then you just screwed up the trial. Once the trial is expired then you are out of luck. the only way to reset a trial is to completely wipe your hard drive and reinstall the OS fresh. then don't enter any serial numbers.
Photoshop is a single user license that means that if you install your dad's photoshop you are breaking the EULA.

Applying patch for WLS 10 license expiration does not help

I recently upgraded my BEA installation from 9.2 to 10.0. I applied the 2VJT patch to my installation of WLS10 to get around the licensing problem. But the patch does not seem to help and i still get the license expired error.
To verify that the patch has been applied, i checked using the bsu scripts and shown below is the output.
Any clues on what is missing?

Further debugging the issue, shows that the PATCH_CLASSPATH being picked up is wrong and points to the 9.2 version instead of the wls10.0. Not sure how to fix this since the rest of the JARs are from the wls10 version as is seen here (fyi bea-wl9.2 is BEA_HOME)

I get error "Document license expired" on any book I download from library.

I have been downloading books from the library successfully for years. Now all of a sudden i get this "Document license expired" on any book I download.

I don't use Windows (Thankfully!) but there should be an option in the installer to change the installation destination and I'm pretty certain the default would be on the drive Windows is installed on.

I have been downloading library books to my nook for a while now using ADE. Since last week I have been receiving the message "Document License Expired" whenever I try to download a new book. Any suggestions? Is it a problem with Overdrive or ADE?

Silly me. The date on my computer was wrong and, once I corrected it, the problem was solved.

AE CS4 LICENSE EXPIRED

Hello. I was using the AE CS4 Trial version, it expired and I unistalled. Then I bought AE CS4 from adobe.com, installed it, entered my new serial number and when I tried to open it, a message showed up. It says: "License Expired, Licensing for this product has expired". Does anyone know how to fix this if I just installed CS4 and I have a new serial number???

This would indicate the the whole licensing service crashes. I haven't upgraded to 10.6, so I can't offer any specifics, but services crashing usually points to a more severe problem. I suggest you work your way through this knowledge base article and see, if any of the solutions brings any improvement. in addition, simply create a new user account and set it to Allow this user to manage computer. If the apps run there, then your user account has been tainted somehow. Using tools like OnyX and having it flush caches and repair permissions may then help....

Photoshop CS5 Licensing Expired Issue

I was part of the Beta Testing group (through adobe) with Photoshop CS5 before it's release. As such, I had Photoshop CS5 prior to its release. When the License expired I don't think I deleted it correctly from my computer. Now, I've purchased my new copy of CS5 (including Photoshop) and it installed (after much problems. It saw that I had copy elements of Photoshop. It suggested I get the Photoshop cleaner and run it. I did run it and finally was able to install the full CS5, including Photoshop). Now... when I try to RUN/OPEN photoshop CS5 it says my license has expired. It hasn't. I just bought it. So, I used the application in the CS5 folder that had the uninstall application. I ran the uninstall And then RE-INSTALLED it off the dvd. I tried AGAIN to launch Photoshop and it still says its license has expired. What do I do? I've spent hours on this and have gotten no work done in Photoshop today. HELP.

I understand that corporate IT is slow to adopt new things. It has always been thus.
But if you write memos to your IT management (and your own management) that say that the apps you need to do your work are really not working right any longer with the old system, that would put some heat on getting them to start to upgrade. It might even net you a new computer in the short term.
The IT folks skipped Vista (which sounds justifiable, but it really wasn't). Now they're trying to delay Windows 7 as long as possible. Give them the reasons they can't. Windows 7 may be pretty different, but it really works. They may say they're waiting for Service Pack 1, but I suspect it's fear of change mostly.
Honestly, if any IT department hasn't already begun serious development behind the scenes to work out what's involved with switching to Windows 7, then they are dinosaurs and need to be fired. It's become impossible to buy computers with XP pre-installed. What will they do when they buy one that simply can't be downgraded to their own XP installation? At some point computer companies will determine it's no longer cost effective to support XP (no drivers, etc.).
Microsoft has already ended Mainstream Support for XP and sales of new copies of XP, and has set the Extended Support end date (granted, it's been extended and is not imminent).
