ZUNE screwed up my library! Help get my artwork back!

I used ZUNE to stream some music to my Xbox yesterday (my mistake, I know) and now a ton of my albums, even those that are rare and I had to scan the album artwork, don't have any artwork under iTunes. If I open the song file in WMP, the artwork I scanned (complete with my fingers on one of them, so I know they're mine) are still embedded in the file, but for some reason, iTunes isn't seeing it now.
I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes twice, re-imported my Library, and to no avail. Help!

You are correct.
The folder I moved is the last in the string of: Macintosh HD:users:XXXX:music:iTunes
Instead of going one step further and moving the individual folders within the iTunes folder, I did a "drop and drag" of the entire thing to my new HD in the finder.
At first, when I opened the iTunes folder I moved, none of its contents were visible on the old HD. When I rebooted the computer without the new drive attached, all of the folders that were in that folder (iTunes Library, Album artwork, etc.) have reappeared, but are empty. My inclination at this point is to simply reload everything from my optical disc backup and make the move correctly this time.

Hi- apparently I also had a similar moment of madness and thought that 'freeride games' would be fun. Well, so much for that! It added a ton of things to my tool bar, I would like to uninstall it, any suggestions for this one?

Help get my speed back to what it was.

Last month the mods reset my profile as due to a series of power cuts etc my speed had dropped. At the time my speed was about 1.5M but after help from the mods it was back up to about 3M and has been like that since. However, today my speed seems to have dropped again even though router has been up continuously for 9 days. Can someone help get my line back to its top speed? Thanks

Why did the link go down and why when it came back up had my speed dropped by a meg?

i had flash player 7.0 but i didnt think i was going to need

Help get my keypad back!

Am using a non-mac keyboard. Usually use the delete and up/down arrows on the numbers area, and can do this by unclicking the numbers lock.
But once i attached the keyboard to my mac it is no longer possible to undo the num lock.
Is there anything I can do about this to get my keypad back???

How can I get Large artwork back in iTunes 11.0.3

Is it possible to get the LARGE artwork back as in 11.0.2 (when you clicked on thumbnail near progress bar). Now it seems only possible to get a smaller artwork using the mini player. The size was comparable to a CD cover before and I liked it especially as Apple have removed coverflow. Any help appreciated...

I have worked it out! If you hold command and click the thumbnail at the same time you get the LARGE artwork back as before, brilliant..Happy now to stay with 11.0.3. Now I can see the cover art from a distance when playing a selection which is how I like it. (Really miss cover flow tho') Hope this helps someone!!

I had the similar problem last night and found a solution (although it takes more than a few clicks). Highlight all the album tracks in itunes on the pc and right click "get info". Check the artwork box in this window. I found that the now playing art was showing up in the itunes window, but on songs that were missing artwork showed nothing in the get info box. When I replaced the artwork by using the artwork command, or manually adding it into the "get info" window. It was annoying but my iphone updated every album.

I can't get album artwork back in my iPod Touch

I had to resync all my playlists, but now I can no longer see any of the album artwork on my iPod. Does anyone have an idea on how to get it back ? I'm using iTunes 8 and have the latest version of iPod software (2.2 I believe)

Thanks for the reply. I actually got it working soon after I posted my question. It was wierd, I re-synched everything from scratch, and I got the artwork back, but it didn't correspond to any of the tracks. Then I re-synched everything from scratch again...I tried one playlist at a time, and everything seems normal again.

I was having major freezing problems that didn't respond to disk utility or other fixes. Finally I decided to reinstall OS X. I have been pretty diligent about using Time Machine to backup. So, reinstalled using a version 10.5.2 Install Disk 1 (I forgot tofind the Snow Leopard disk). I didn't touch the time machine because I was afraid to overwrite inadvertently. So now I have updated to OS X 10.6.4, and reinstalled my iLife 09 and done all software updates. The issue is that I want to get all the iTunes music and iPhoto pictures and iMovie movies back into the libraries. I'm guessing the best way is to somehow get them off of Time Machine, but I don't think the current system considers my external drive as the time machine now. Also, they should all be intact in the Previous Systems libraries, but I don't know how to restore them either. Can someone advise me on what to do? I was hoping that I could just drag and drop libraries so it all goes back to exactly the way it was before with these libraries, but I'm scared to lose my data and backups. Thanks.

The problem is, when you reinstalled OSX, you set up a user account. OSX probably doesn't realize you're the same user as the one on the backups, so it's not going to let you view or restore that "other" user's files.
If you ever again want a fresh copy of OSX, just install it from the disc. That will replace the current copy of OSX with a new one, leaving everything else intact.
Also, they should all be intact in the Previous Systems libraries,
Snow Leopard doesn't make +Previous System+ folders. Unless you created them somehow, or they're left over from an +Archive and Install+ of Leopard.
I was hoping that I could just drag and drop libraries so it all goes back to exactly the way it was before with these libraries, but I'm scared to lose my data and backups. Thanks.
The best way to do that is to start over.
Boot up from your Snow Leopard Install disc, erase your internal HD, and install OSX. When your Mac starts up again, you'll be asked if you want to transfer your data. Select +From a Time Machine backup+ and take all the defaults; that will transfer everything except OSX. See #19 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum), for details and step-by-step instructions.
Then download and install the "combo" update to get back to 10.6.4. Info and download available at: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1048 Be sure to do a +Repair Permissions+ via Disk Utility (in your Applications/Utilities folder) afterwards.

Help getting auto-sync back

I lost my hard-drive to laptop in fall '06. I-Pod library went w/it. I was able to get help to get the Library downloaded to new computer... all songs show up using "Manual load" directions. Now- I can't get new songs to load. it's like it's created another library on same computer. When it asks if I want to load new songs- it wants to delete my library? Don't want to lose 385+ songs already in "old" library. Any suggestions on how to get them to merge? Please keep instructions simple-I'm new at this... Thanks for help!!

I am answering my own question here. I figured it out all by myself. Since it is set up to manually merge, all I had to do was click and drag the "new download songs" to my I-pod music. Too SIMPLE!!

HELP get my account back!

HEY, my account, [Redacted for safety and security]...I can't get back onto it. I accidently unlinked it from my microsoft account because I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. I tried to log into my account to merge them together, but I can't seem to remember my password. Logging into skype via my microsoft account doesn't help because it just asks me to merge (which I can't do because i forgot password), or make a new account (which is the one I am currently on). I pressed forgot username, but that just sends me an email with a code to change my password FOR MY MICROSOFT ACCOUNT. So it doesn't help me. I kept trying but now it refuses to send anymore codes, I HAVE TO WAIT AND ENTIRE DAY, and I can't keep trying different passwords because it keeps saying I've entered my password wrong too much! What a hassle! PLease help. ;.;

Need help getting tv shows back into itunes

Okay, a little explanation is required before I get to my question
I had some problems with my computer that to fix it, the geniuses did archive and install and deleted my user account, and set up a new one for me.
After this, I was able to recover everything, and deleted the previous system it had created in my hard drive. The only problem I have encountered is that it will not let me put my tv shows that I have downloaded from the itunes store, back into itunes, despite the fact that it let me put all my music back.
I want them in there, so that I can put them on my ipod, and I thought that when I updated my ipod it would just add the new stuff, and all my old stuff would still be there. But since it is synced with the old account, it says that it will delete my ipod and resync it, and I will be without my tv shows. I have also tried just dragging them into the ipod, but that doesn't work either.
So my question is, how can I get them back into itunes without repurchasing them?

Do the TV Shows actually appear in your iTunes library? If not, what happens when you try to add them?
If the shows are in your library, have you checked your syncing prefs to see if they've defaulted. (TV Shows tab when iPod is connected.)
Do you get any error messages related to this problem? Were the TV Shows and Music files purchased with same account? All they authorized on the same number of computers?
Not sure, but I have read about deauthorizing then re-authorizing your account. But you're only allowed to do this once a year ---or maybe once a year on ALL accounts (if you have more than one). You might want to inquire or search the forum on this point before proceeding.

Help getting erased info back!!!

So I'm in college and one of my friends thought it would be funny to pull a prank on me and disable my Iphone 5 by typing in the wrong password multiple times. After awhile, it reset my whole Iphone! Now I knew this was possible but never checked it off under the settings (to reset after a certain amount of wrong passcode atempts). He says it was like that by default but after some research I found out that it is not by default so he did it on purpose. Anyways, I havent backed up my Iphone in forever so connecting it to itunes wont do me any good. I was wondering if there was a way that i can retrive all of my lost data like photos (that are very important to me), contacts, messages, videos, all of that stuff. If anyone know of a way or could help it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

You can not get back what you did not back up. It no longer exists.
Sounds like you need to find new "friends".

Need Help Getting RealPlayer to Back Off!

Previously all my video clips were stored with a QuickTime icon on them... and when I clicked on them to view --they ran thru QT. But somehow/somewhere RealPlayer has TAKEN OVER all my video clips (which now appears as a white blank page of an icon) and when I click them to play them --they play thru RealPlayer.
That wouldn't be so bad but, RealPlayer (at least the free version I have) won't "loop" the video clips. I spent nearly an hour today texting with a RealPlayer tech to find that out!
SO, does ANYONE know how to make QuickTime the 'ranking' player of my video clips again, like it used to be?
Some setting must have changed somewhere, and I'd like to set it back the way it was before.

1) In a Finder window highlight a file of the kind you want to change the application to open that kind of file.
