Zune Software does not start on WIN 8.1 PRO

whenever I need to run ZUNE software to update my phone or just edit my music collection my Zune software does not start. I only get a window alert saying [Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Zune\Zune.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly,
and then try again.]
Troubleshoot performed:
-uninstall software, reinstalled with administrative privileges, run the program and does not start, end up with same message. (many, many times)
- Installed it in different directory, installed all windows updates, run program and same symptom
- installed the MUSIC app from windows Store, helps but does not let me edit mysong collections app really is not the appropiate one
-cannot download my photos or videos, please HELP!
*** Is there a way I can download my pics and videos without ZUNE? Is there a FIX IT program for Windows 8 PRO, just in case there might be a problem with registry entries? ***

Sb software does not start anym

Hi,
I have got a problem: All(!) my creative software does not start anymore (AudioHQ, Surroundmixer etc.). Also the diagnostics and the standard restore tools don't have a function. It is not the first time that I have that prob. I fixed it last time by reinstalling the whole system... but that can't be the answer. As I said: This problem seems to reappear from time to time. I didn't change anything in software or hardware.
The taskmanager shows all creative processes running as usual, I just can't start any of the programs.
Btw: I can hear the sound! Everything seems to be absolutely normal, it's just the software that doesn' work.
So, does anybody know why that happens? And can this problem be solved?

That's one of the points which confuse me: No error messages, just nothing. The hourglass appears for a second and then, nothing happens.
The system is an AMD Athlon 2000+, Radeon 9800pro video card, 768 ram, asus nforce2 board, windows xp media center edition... nothing exceptional.
My 5. spaeker system works perfectly: I can hear EAX in games, AC3 when watching a DVD.
Also the windows playback controll works. But that's really no alternati've to the AudioHQ
I feel a bit like driving in a car; I can accelerate, I can slow down, but there is no streering-wheel... if you know what i mean
And unforunately I can't restore the system, because I disabled the function *stupidly*

Enterprise Manager Console does not start on Win 2000 Pro

I have installed Oracle 9i Release 2 Enterprise Manager on Win 2000 Professional. But the Enterprise Manager console does not start. Also the EM Configuration Assistant does not start.
I have installed many times, but it is never successfull.
I was installing Enterprise Edition -> General Purpose database.
Tried the following from command prompt:
oemapp.bat I get this message : "Usage: oemapp <application_name>"
oemapp consoleI get : "bad command or file name"
oemapp console oem.loginmode=standaloneI get : "bad command or file name"
Is there any post installation configurations that need to be done?
When I read thru the oemapp.bat, "Usage: oemapp <application_name>" was under the jreSetup module.
Under C:\Program Files\Oracle\jre I have the folders with following Names(versions) 1.1.8 and 1.3.1.
In the environment variable also I have C:\Program Files\Oracle\jre\1.1.8\bin and C:\Program Files\Oracle\jre\1.3.1\bin
Could some one help me with this.

Is your machine connected to a Novell network? If so, edit the oemapp.bat file and change every reference of Windows_NT to WINNT. The issue is Novell does not set the Windows_NT variable, and uses the WINNT variable instead.

Ligthroom 5.5 after installing the software does not start and does not give any kind of mistake

I subscribe to CC as a photographer and just inatalar Ligthroom but this does not start and no daningun mistake. Reinstall several times but still the same. What can be the problem?

Hola, arreglado por mi parte también, chateando (en inglés...) con un operador que ha demostrado conocer perfectamente la solución (para Win7):
En carpetas "C:\Program files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\" y "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\" deben activarse permisos de control total para el usuario (que puede no tener control total en el sistema) y desactivar "solo lectura" a las carpetas descritas y sus subcarpetas para que al iniciar se configure el registro adecuadamente. Una vez hecho esto me ha funcionado todo a la primera, me lo han explicado paso a paso por el chat. Un 10 para el técnico, un suspenso para Adobe por no publicar adecuadamente la solución.
Gracias manufoto por tu explicación, parece que todo va a parar a las mismas carpetas.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).

Desktop Software does not start - really not at all

Hi everybody,
I hope this is not a common problem...
I installed the latest version of DM (710_b033_multilanguage) successfully on my PC.
Win7 (64bit), 8GB Ram, plenty of Diskspace and sufficient Video HW
As mentioned the installation was successfully.
When I start immediately a windows error message pops up, telling me the the Blackberry Desktop Manager does not work anymore (translated from the original German popup) and that Windows is looking for a solution. Sure enough Windows does not find anything and the window disappears without further notification.
I tried
- reinatalling
- repairing
- installing on SSD as well as on standard HDD
- searching the blog on "not start"
- cussing
- and now posting
Can anybody help - please?

If your signature is correct in stating your computer is running 10.4.5, you need to run Software Update to get your system up to 10.4.10 or later.

FMS does not start (windows 7)

FMS does not start in win 7.
There were some starts but only when first run after the installation. (i checked it 3 times) After the computer reboot, FMS does not start. Whats the problemm ? And one more quastion: where can i find server address ?

Do you see the FMS and FMSAdmin services running in your machine?
Is your concern that FMS does not start by itself after restarting your machine? Or your were not able to start FMS.
To connect to your server using Administration Console, Enter your server name or IP in "Server Address' text box.

Aperture 3 does not start

I bought Aperture 3 from Apple store, just downloaded the software does not start.
The icon flashes but does not open!
What do I do?

Try running disk utilites and repairing permissions.
Try holding the Command + option key while clicking on the Aperture icon to repair its permissions specifically
When I mentioned click on library itself I should of said locate the Aperture Library (pictures folder?) and double click on that to start aperture. Also to open a lib hold the option key and click on the Aperture icon. A dialog should appear to choose the library. Write back and tell us specfically what you did. we need to know what you performed so we can eliminate options. good luck

My Oracle 10g XE does not start anymore on Win XP

I have a problem I do not understand at all. I've successfully installed Oracle10g XE on my Win XP SP2 about one year ago and every works well.
The last time (6 months ago) I've started my default XE, it works well.
Today, it does not works anymore ! My Windows service called "OracleServiceXE" does not start anymore. I have an error 1053.
So I try to start manually my DB using sqlplus :
sqlplus /nolog
connect / AS SYSDBA=> I obtains ORA-12560
The listener service starts well and seems to be OK.
I tried to set ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID without success.
I checked my sqlnet.ora, tnsname.ora. Everything seems to be OK.
I stopped my antivirus software, stopped my firewall.
I checked I am still in the Adminstrator Group.
Finally, I tried to reinstall Oracle 10g XE and it does not work anymore either ! The XE instance creation failed
DIM-00019: service creation error
O/S-Error: (OS 1053)
Now, I am lost.
Does anybody have any suggestion to solve my problem ?

But what ? Many things change in 6 months (Windows fixes, software fixes, RAM upgrade, screen change ...)
And the logs I found in oracle cannot help me to have an idea.
Only listener.log, css.log and sqlnet.log have changed.

If you still have the problem after retoring the iPOd to factory defaults/new iPod then The iPod is likely defective and replacement is required. You can make an appoinment at the Genius Bar of an APple store or take it back to BestBuy if within warranty

Organizer 9 (Win) does not start.

After succesfully using my Organizer 9 for years, it suddently does not start.
It halts at "Initializing Model".
Clicking it at this point brings "Does not respond" Close Program or Wait.
I cant wait until I turn black, nothing happends...

Try resetting Preference settings these by navigating to:
--Win Vista/7: C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Elements Organizer\9.0
--Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Adobe\Elements Organizer\9.0
Rename the Organizer folder to something Organizer_old.
Relaunch PSE and it will recreate the folder for you.
Also, it could be an issue with Online Services. Try resetting these by navigating to:
--Win Vista/7: C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Online Services
--Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Adobe\Online Services
Rename the Photoshop Elements 10.0.0 folder to something Photoshop Elements 10.0.0_old.
Relaunch PSE and it will recreate the folder for you.

Did you correctly format your usb stick in accordance with the Boot Camp installation instructions? Go here to the Boot Camp System Requirements page, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5634, look for your computer model/year and download the correct version of Windows Support software.

frndz i m having problem with my lenovo g570. some times windows 7 does not start and my laptop power automatically off after the BIOS screen seen in my laptop. and when i insert any c.d it does read and in my computer the DVD-ROM drive is not visible. plz plz tell me what is the problem if any one can help me out. i complaint to lenovo customer care but they told that they can not help me becoz i have windows ultimate and they told me to change the windows to primium, basic or stater or what ever except windows ultimate. i didnt get why the told that. so plz tell me that what to do and why they told me like this? and plz also tell that if my laptop is having problem with software or hardware? plz thanks to those who can help me in advance. plz plz save me from this trouble bcoz i have used my laptop for juz 5 months and i started getting this type of problems with my laptop so plz help me............. thanku once agian.
