ZVM and WMP 11 - issues and updat

I know when WMP beta was released a while ago there were a number of issues identified with respect to the operation of the Zen Vision:M's. I haven't seen much news on this front lately (from Creative or from MS) and wondered if anyone had any updates to share.
I'd really like to upgrade to WMP, but don't want to screw up my access to the ZVM like I did when it first came out.

it's really weird because I've had WMP , and my ZVM with the newest firmware for awhile, and never have i had problems with album art. Now, within the past week, i've been having problems.
Lots of times now, when i add a CD of downloaded music to WMP and do "FIND ALBUM INFO" so that its all nice and clean and such, the album art will just turn into a black square.
---Has anyone else had this problem? And now when i sync to the ZVM the album art doesnt show. I think this could be a WMP problem, because of the whole black square thing, but i have trouble finding forums about WMP .
If anyone could help, thatd be great!

I upgraded my iphone 4S to ios 6 two weeks ago and yesterday when I tried to go into my App Store the only ares that I could get was Genius, Genius Categories, and Updates..can't get Apps or search in Apps. Anyone else having this issue?

Is anyone having an issue with the App Store since upgrading to ios 5? I have iphone 4S and upgraded two weeks ago to ios 5, and yesterday I tried to access the App Store and could only get Genius and Updates....no App Store and couldn't search or go to Catagories in App Store!

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again.

Ibook author loading, save, open and update issue

When we create the ibook author file with 30 pages the systme gets too slow, since it took cache file within the recovery folder. Also when it take more time while save, open and update process. Curent file size is 169 MB (Minimac 10.7 with 2GB RAM and ibook author version is 1.1)
Can you any one investigate this issue and help me how to remove this cache file and make the ibook author file is fast?

I'd suggest to upgrade the ram in your mini to the maximum - low cost and the best thing you can do to improve performance for all apps.
The cache file's purpose is to make things faster....but if a book is corrupted there may be issues using it for editing. You may need to remove resources and re-add to fix - that or make a new book from start.

Yes, but back up the library first. Note that if you're using Mac OS X 10.5.8, you won't be able to update iTunes past 10.6.3.

ZVM and WMP 11 playli

I read from some people here that you cannot synch your WMP playlists with ZVM. This actually was one of my biggest concerns and once I had my ZVM I tested it with WMP . I dragged a playlist (not an auto one, a manually created one) to the synch pane. The playlist was created on ZVM and the files were transferred, skipping ones which were already there.
The weird thing is, ZVM Media Explorer does not see this playlist on ZVM. When I choose "Edit Playlists" from Media Explorer it says "There are no playlists to edit". Even though ZVM shows this playlist properly, plays it and counts number of playlists as from system info. Bug?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?

CS5 Installation and Update issues

I am trying to re-install Photoshop CS5 onto my Win 7 Ultimate System. I know from previously installing it several years ago that there was an issue with installing it with Adobe Raeder on a system. Something to do with folder location issues. I have tried re-installing CS5 and it does install (apparently Reader issue solved(?)). Both 32bit and 64bit seem to install ok. I can open Photoshop and access the program.
Problem: When I try to do updates for the software, that are available, they download and then hang on install. The Adobe installer stops responding and nothing installs.
Could someone pleas assist me with this issue.

Cd burning issue after installing and updating snow leopard

After installing and updating snow leapard to the latest version, the cd burner for i-tunes quit working. it says" burning disk initializing" then "burning disk finishing" comes up with the error "the attempt to burn a disk failed. the disc drive didn't respond properly and can't recover or retry. Any suggestions to fix this problem?

First try other disks, brand new, then try another brand, then consider backup user files and (clean and polish then) c booting off the 10.6.3 disk and simply reinstalling OS X then updating to 10.6.8 again.
Hopefully this should fix the issue in OS X software, you may have to reinstall certain third party software again that it's kext files got kicked out of OS X by the reinstall.
If you get hung booting at any time, simply hold the shift key down and then update your software then reboot normally

I sloved this issue by resting my phone from settings>general>reset>reset all settings...the problem will be fixed

Update to the latest version of iTunes. Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard) users may need to download iTunes 10.6.3.
Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, followTroubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to performunauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. I have also been having another problem - with BBC iPlayer and other video streaming not working due to insufficient bandwidth, despite my overall download speed being consistently around 50Gb. This is also affecting AppleTV downloads
I am using Virgin Media as my ISP, and was wondering whether you do as well. This might be the common thread.

When you said you have no fax machines on your line, that does include computers directly connected to the phone line?
The reason that I ask is a computer with a dial-up modem (a non broadband modem) that can connect to your phone line, can have software that makes the computer act as a fax machine.

I am having the same issue. I just had the battery replaced at a third party store. The battery powers the ipod up but it needs to be restored. It is saying it isn't eligible for rebuild. How to use a single page for create and update mode.

I need to develop a single page to be used for both create and update modes.
I am going to use a variable MODE
and i will set this in the emp summary page.
Based on the button clicked by the user i have to render the JSF page.
For tis if the user selects a perticular and cliks on update thn i will pass the empno to the next.
so there in the next i will appy a ViewCreiteria on my View Obj to fetch only that row so that only that emp will be displayed ion update mode.
This is working fione for me.

In my opinion you are over complicating things.
This is what I do for using the sme page as both create and update without all this code.
1) Create a browse page containing a an adf table with a select one component bound to your view object.
2) Create an additional edit page containing only an edit form containing fields of your view object that your users must enter in order to add or edit rows.
3) Link the pages in the JSF diagram with an "edit" navigation case from browse to edit page and a "return" navigation case from edit to browse (make sure that redirect option is NOT set on both cases)
4) Remove the submit button from the edit page and add two application module bindings for the commit and rollback operations as command buttons in the form footer facet. Make sure that both buttons has an action of return and that their disabled property is set to false. You will probably change their labels to ok and cancel respectively.
5) Drop a create action for your view object from the data control palette inside your page as a command button and set the action property to edit also.
3) Set the action property of the view button to edit
This should basically work without any code from your part. -- at least it does so for me -- if you like to make it a bit more funcy you may add am action listener inside your buttons and set a requeScope variable for example #{requestScope.editing} to true or false depending on the button clicked. Then add a title to your page with a value like #{requestScope.editing == true ? 'Editing record' : 'Adding a new record'}..
