ZZXC the problem started when I defraged and deleted cookies
Ok I figured out that I can access my hotmail from internet explorer. Which is very lucky as I have paid to hear a lecture and the ticket number was in my account . The problem started just after I had defraged and cleaned out my cookies. Which was your suggestion to blank screen when trying to access hotmail .. So before I touched the clean out the cookies working fine. Then no access. I tried turning the computer off leaving it for an hour, coming back on ... Nothing no access at all with Firefox. But like I said ok in internet Explores.. This makes no sense to me. I am not technically minded . but I do know how to clean out my cookies and defrag my machine .
So thank you ZZXC for your time and thank you for trying to solve teh problem but no luck .. Still have the problem. I tried to reply to you using the same page as your solution but it will not let me do that.
"Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file ''cookies.sqlite'' that stores the cookies is corrupted.
You can rename (or delete) '''cookies.sqlite''' (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete '''cookies.sqlite-journal''' and '''cookies.txt''', if they exist, in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder] in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
See [[Cannot log in to websites]] (Remove corrupt cookies file) - See also http://kb.mozillazine.org/Websites_report_cookies_are_disabled (Other Solutions)
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]

The problem is when we create and then publish to ibooks review it can not be shown completely. How can I solve this problem?
If you are saying, that you published the book to the iBooks review team and cannot be seem in the store.
Use your iTunes Connect account > Manage your Books to check on its status. It takes time so you need to allow a few days.
If its a problems viewing on your iPad Follow the above advice and another option is is export your book, open iBooks on your Mac and drag the book into iBooks.
You can iTunes > add to libray and sync to your iPad. -

With only Yahoo account in my Macbook Air "Mail", everything works perfectly. Problem started when I added my Gmail account. It keeps on asking my account and keychain passwords. And all my accounts always works offline.
It sounds like you may need to go into Mail>Preferences>Accounts and Complete setting up you Gmail account. It may not be finished being setup. For instance, note the line below to be selected from the drop down list in "Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP", then "Edit SMTP Server List":
Hope this helps -
Logic X is installed on my desktop and my laptop. I had Logic X open on my desktop as I was backing up my music, and accidentally accessed some Logic music that had been stored on my desktop. Logic X works fine on the laptop, but freezes during installation on the desktop. I increased my Ram to 8 gigs, but the problem is still there.
Also, Ableton Live 9 Suite has the same problem...
Could it be that my version of Logic X has been corrupted and that I need to re-load it...and how do you do that since it has already been downloaded???
Oh, I have Yosemite 10.10.2...I found out that I had a panic kernelling problem...and it had to do with audio plug ins. The cause of this was that I was trying to make more room on my computer and deleted a lot of files, which caused the headache. I re-loaded the software that came with the computer...that is when I saw the kernel problem...and then, I called Apple support because my computer then locked up. I was able to restore the computer from a previous backup...however, the problem that I created took almost all day and late into the evening to correct. Now that everything is up and running, I decided not to try to delete any more files, and will back up my work whenever I can.
By the way, what is the LPX program and how does that work? -
My friend has a Macbook running Lion. She uses the trackpad for her mouse. The mouse can't be controlled, except with great difficulty. It hops all around the screen at randon. The problem can be mitigated to some extent by using an external USB mouse; however, when this mouse is not is use, it keeps jumping at random around the screen.

When I enter an event in my calendar (comcast, yahoo) it used to sync automatically to my Apple calender. When I updated to IOS7 this function stopped working.
Hi cjhedrick,
If you are having unusual issues syncing data to Outlook when you haven't in the past, you may find the following article helpful:
Apple Support: Troubleshooting Sync Services on Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010

My problem started when system preferences was unresponsive and would not force quit. I tryed to restart and got the grey screen, but it never restarted. I closed the lid and now the screen is blank. Has anyone had a similar problem after Lion installation?
No, as I have yet to be convinced on Lion.
Did a permissions repair help from the install DVD? -
Hi, I downloaded, activated, registered both on my laptop and desktop Adobe CC InDesign and Illustrator. I am paying a monthly fee. The problem is, when I start my program, it keeps asking me to register my program and it says my free trial is over.
Can you check into this for me.If you want Adobe to check it you'll need to contact them (use CHAT) but you could try checking whether you just need to SIGN IN to your apps.

Photoshop Elements crashed on my MAC and gave me the suggestion to go to Help, then Updates to correct the problem. When I do this the update starts and then tells me to close Elements to continue. I close Elements and continue then get this message - PLEASE CLOSE THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS TO CONTINUE - ElementsAutoAnalyzer AND ElementsOrganizerRevelAgent. I have no idea how to close these applications and therefore I am not able to get the updates.
Applications>Utilities>Activity Monitor and you can kill them there.

The problem is; when I past copied text from some pdf books (not all of them) it past symbols only! wherever I past it! and even if I coped that text from another pdf reader (adobe pdf reader, internet browsers, ...etc.).
This problem started to happen since yesterday when I installed adobe acrobat reader XI pro to try it before I buy it, and before that when I was using the free adobe pdf reader I was totally able to copy any text from any pdf and past it anywhere with nothing wrong.
What can I do?

Error code: MobileMe Services has encountered a problem and needs to close
I get this mesage everytime i open Outlook and it slows down opening. This problem started when itunes updated. What do I do to solve this?Hi turingtest2 (you pass, BTW): Thanks for the speedy reply. MobileMe doesn't appear in the list of programs which can be uninstalled. I tried the link you suggest: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall but when I tried to "Run Now", I get the error message: " Troubleshooting cannot continue because an error has occurred... etc.... [code 80072F8F]" So googled this error & found a tool called (80072f8f) Repair Tool - I'm leery to download yet more stuff from non-microsoft sites -- any recommendations?

The screen on my macbook has malfunction. When I change the brightness to zero and return to the first level of brightness it works briefly but then the screen starts to flicker brightness and quickly extinguished. It seems to be a bad contact, it would not be normal for a quality product that should have, he has less than two years of use. Not because of the bad use or crash. Someone with the same problem or can help me? It's really a contact problem? I've done all the procedures recommended by the online support. Thanks.
Hey everyone in Apple world!
I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!
I found this super handy website with the golden answer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!
(Note that I arrived at this solution when I first saw this page: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570?viewlocale=en_US)
Let me know if this works for you!
Elaine
