Acrobat DC yükeledim, fakat çoklu saylardan bazılarını şeçtiğimde save as yapamıyorum.

This is not a very good interface. Prompts one up to selecting the folder. I found you select the folder and you must select a folder, even it is the current folder, and then one will get the pop-up for the file name, enter the name and click the "Save" button.

  • Espacement vertical des caractères dans formulaire PDF (Acrobat Pro 9)

    Bonjour,
    J'utilise Adobe Acrobat Pro.

  • Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro crashes at start up: Runtime Error-please help

I have Adobe CS4 installed on my Windows 7 PC. In addition, I have Adobe Reader XI and InDesign 6 installed. If I remember correctly, after I installed Adobe Reader XI, I uninstalled the version of the Reader which came with CS4.
So here’s my problem: When I try to download a PDF that has been sent to me in an email or open one that already exists on my computer, this happens:
    Runtime Error!
    Program: C…
The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
When I click OK, I get this:
Adobe Acrobat 9.0 has stopped working.
If I try to Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro from my start menu, the same thing happens.
This makes no sense to me because
I don’t have the knowledge to figure this out. I have no idea what Runtime is.
Prior to a computer meltdown a couple of months ago and a complete reinstallation of everything, these very same programs all worked just fine.
I don’t understand why, when I try to open an emailed PDF, they don’t automatically open in Adobe Reader XI rather than Adobe Acrobat. Isn’t the general idea that people be able to open and view sent PDFs which they have been sent, which is what the Reader is for, and not usually edit them, which is what Adobe Acrobat is for?
If, instead of trying to open the emailed PDFs, I save them to my computer, I can launch Adobe Reader XI and open them from within that program without any problem. That’s OK if I just need to view the PDF, but I need to be able to edit PDFs too, so I must get Adobe Acrobat 9.0 to work.
Would reinstalling Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Pro help? Is there a way to reinstall that program only from the installation disks or would have to reinstall CS4 entirely?
I cannot open Adobe Acrobat 9.0 at all, so any solutions which must be done with the program open are not possible.
I would really appreciate some help.

    SOLVED!
Resetting Internet Explorer didn't work, Reinstalling Acrobat 9.0 Pro didn't work, but changing a registry key did.
Here's where I found the solution:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error opening PDF files - Microsoft Community
Here is the relevant post, but before you try it, read my note below:
    Hi,
This is known issue with Acrobat for several versions now, Adobe's current fix is just to update their software: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/404/kb404597.html
The problem is with the application data being misdirected.
"The affected user has a redirected Application Data folder and as a result the network path containing the Application Data uses a UNC path that begins with \\. This UNC path causes Acrobat 9.0 or Adobe Reader 9.0 to incorrectly parse the Application Data path and give the error message."
A potential Solution would be to go into the registry. Left Click type "regedit" and right click and run the program with "run as administrator". Go to Hkey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Folders and make sure see where "AppData" is pointing. If it is pointing to "%UserProfile%/Application Data" change it to point to "%UserProfile%/AppData/Roaming".
BUT, be careful about one thing: This poster seems to have accidentally used forward slashes when he should have use back slashes. Look at the very last line of his post where he advises "If it is pointing to "%UserProfile%/Application Data" change it to point to "%UserProfile%/AppData/Roaming". You'll find, or at least I did, that this key has a back slash, not a forward slash, so changing what I found: "%UserProfile%\Application Data" to "%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming" worked and now Acrobat 9.0 works fine.

  • Why Acrobat Reader doesn't open pdf-files from Safari?

I'm new Mac user and cannot find answer why I cannot open pdf-files directly from Safari. My Macbook OS X 10.9.3 and Safari is 7.0.4. Only way to open pdf-files is to download the content first and then open it. If I try to open it directly Acrobat says "Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the end user license agreement". I have downloaded Acrobat Reader several times already and cannot understand what I'm doing wrong.

Back up all data before making any changes. Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print or save PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to do so by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar should appear under the cursor. Click the printer or disk icon.
    Step 2
There should be a setting in its preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
    Step 3
If you get a message such as ""Adobe Reader blocked for this website," then from the Safari menu bar, select
              Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
    and check the box marked
              Allow Plug-ins
    Then click
              Manage Website Settings...
and make any required changes to the security settings for the Adobe PDF plugin.
    Step 4
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
    In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.
From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari.
    Step 5
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others—I don't have a complete list. Don't remove Silverlight if you use the "Netflix" video-streaming service.
    Step 6
Do as in Step 4 with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari.

  • How can I persuade Acrobat 8.0 Pro to upgrade from cold comfort CS2 without Acrobat 7.0?

I have a Student version of CS2 Premium (including Acrobat 7.0 pro), included in the package was an upgrade version of Acrobat 8.0 Pro.
It worked well all those years on my XP. Now I had to change my system and installed Win 7. Found out that my CS2 was no longer on (de- and re-)activation terms, so I downloaded CS 2 here and read here thoroughly about the problems of my fellow sufferers before I started unpacking and installing, and I must say, the discussions here helped me a lot to avoid tricky traps and I have at least achieved to install the for my work most important parts of CS2 properly, i.e. Indesign and Photoshop. (The most important trick is to start all the 4 exes in an interval of one minute so that they lie all neatly unpacked in the target folder before or short after the first exe to unpack which is oddly No.2 has done it's unpacking and instantly following installation job, and the show can go on.)
Quite oddly, Illustrator refuses to be installed. It says "Falsches BS oder BS-Version für die Anwednung" (wrong BS or BS-Version for the application. I quoted it in German because I don't know if BS is the same term in English). But that is a minor problem, like the one with GoLive which was not even in the bundle. I downloaded it separately and tried to install it but it gives the same mistake massage. Maybe there is somebody enlightened who reads this and would like to give me a hint?
Here is what is really annoying: Acrobat 7.0 Pro was not in the download bundle because, as it has been discussed here at length, the Premium version seems not to be available. I downloaded it separately and installed it and all worked well so far.
That was the moment when I thought that I could install my upgrade version of Acrobat 8.0 on top of it. Acrobat accepted the serial no. and started to install but gave a warning that I should better uninstall 7.0 because I risked technical problems if not. I risked to not uninstall because I needed it as a proof for the upgrade license, didn't I?
But at the very end of the installation, there WAS a technical problem,  a tiny black screen with a white message which I could not read so fast, and Acrobat 8.0 undid it's whole installation. I uninstalled 7.0 too, restarted the system, and got a blue screen. This whole encounter had somehow interfered with my printer's driver and maybe my GeForce driver. That was the day's smallest problem and could be fixed.
Well, leaving 7.0 uninstalled, I tried to install Acrobat 8.0 Pro again, and this time, it refused to continue after having read my serial number, because of course I had no installed proof for my license to upgrade. So it's either crash or refuse, a real unmerry-go-round dilemma, like having the cake and eat it.
Formerly, this problem did not exist because Acrobat 7.0 belonged to the bunch and could be uninstalled whithout my losing the license to upgrade because there was still the rest of the CS2 family waving the flags.
Surely, there must be a workaround here - is it possible to half uninstall Acrobat 7.0, maybe by fiddling something in the registry (I know how to save it before!) or just kicking the uncouth drivers out? But where are they hidden and what are their names? The replacement serial number given on the download side would be accepted, as we have seen.
I really do hope that one of you has already found a solution to that problem, too.
I hope I have mentioned everything necessary and there are no questions left. Thank you for your patience.
    Saskia
P.S. For my biggest problem, I have been given a fine solution by the support after a long chat. After some unavailing trials to unlock the serial number they created a new SN for my Acrobat 8, and now it works fine and I am the happiest girl of the day. The first (minor) problem still remains. I have an idea and wanted to ask if you specialists think it could work. As I never made any use of version cue, maybe I don't need to install the applications as a suite. Trying to install one of the bundle as a separate application did not work, but maybe this was because of the existence of CS2? Would it help if I'd uninstall CS2 and install each application separately?

  • Acrobat PDF Printer STILL freezes when pasting filename into Save dialog

Ref: Acrobat Printer Freezes on Save when CTL+V is used
No change in Acrobat X.  Printing system still freezes up entirely when pasting a filename into the Save dialog, when printing to Adobe PDF printer.  Most often from Firefix (all versions through 28.0) but from other programs as well (also happens from MS Outlook 2010 32 bit).
Any chance of an update from Adobe?
Acrobat Pro X on Win 7 64 bit.  Multiple systems exhibit same behavior.
Same issue occurs in Acrobat XI Standard.
Workaround is possible by manually typing in filename, or renaming, but clearly this should not be happening.  If you forget, it requires a lot of steps (or a reboot) to try again.

If you copy text directly from FireFox (or Word, or pretty much any program, other than Notepad), and try to paste into the Save Dialog to save your PDF, guaranteed crash.
HOWEVER, if you paste the text into Notepad first, and then copy it again, you can then paste into the Save dialog no problem.  This is why the "test" that the Adobe rep did to recreate the problem was pointless: He managed to re-create the one workaround method that DOES work, instead of actually trying to do things the way that were causing the issue to show up.
The problem appears to be related to any sort of "rich" text.  Windows ignores the "rich" information and only keeps the text if you paste into a filename in the system.  So Windows handles it just fine, it's Adobe's save dialog that can't handle it.  Copied text from Firefox is usually pretty clean (IE is worse), but there must be some formatting remnants in there that are giving Adobe fits (instead of properly ignoring them).  It may have something to do with 64-bit Windows and 32-bit Firefox and 64-bit Acrobat all coming together?  Copying and pasting between 64-bit and 32-bit programs usually has no issues, but in this case, it does (although the 64/32 bit relation is pure speculation on my end).
But by "washing" your text through Notepad first, it completely strips it down to truly pure plain text, which can then be pasted into Adobe's Save dialog without a crash.  This adds an extra step, and should be entirely unnecessary, but it does work.  At least until Adobe fixes their program.

  • Default save as folder  in acrobat XI

In acrobat X and before, when we complete editing a pdf file, and then use "save as" to save the work, the default folder is exactly the destination of the modified file, but in acrobat XI, it is not, so when we choose "Save as", sometimes it will be a boring work to select the original folder.
please consider this in further updates, or if there is something wrong with me, please tell me!

I have a related question, as I am considering upgrading to Acrobat 11 from 10:
In the "Save As" dialog box, is there a Windows search box built in, like many programs have? So, that, after you scan something, and select Save As, the dialog box has a a search box (usually at the top right) where you can type in the first few letters of the folder you want to file the newly scanned document in. The folders matching that search will then pop up as choices, and you can quickly select the correct folder to save in. Without that, for newly scanned docs (I use Fujitsu Scan Snap), I have to drill down into a lot of nested folders, which takes a lot of time. That's why I keep hoping Acrobat will get the search box in the Save As dialog, and then I'll upgrade. Can anyone tell me if it's in 11 (i.e., XI)?
    Thanks,
    Jim

  • Need to Change the Standard.joboptions on Acrobat 8.0

We are a Citrix/Terminal Server shop and have clients using Acrobat 8.0 on the server under their citrix session and they need to have the default resolution of the created PDF to change for everyone on the server from 600 dpi to 300 dpi.
When I try to do this in the printer setup for Acrobat it tells me that I can't edit the Standard.joboptions file and save it over itself. I then tried to manually edit the file with Notepad and it is still showing 600 dpi when I look at the Standard settings.
I also changed the Standard and set it as 300 dpi and saved it as a different name in the "Settings" folder and when I try to choose it in the drop down list of settings files I don't see that one.
Am I missing something? How can I set the default resolution to 300?
    Thanks,
    Jason

I don't see how to do that. Is there a document or online resource to help with that?
Like I said, I saved the changes to another file but then do not see a way to specify that new file as the 'default'.
    Thanks,

  • I uninstalled acrobat 7.x and chose to save license info.  Now I can't install CS2.  How can I uninstall license info?

    OK,
I bought Acrobat 7 quite a few years ago, but it cost me $450.  I believe I should be able to keep using it or at least the alternative (CS2 ?)
So I went through the instructions to remove Acrobat 7 from my computer (Win7) and when it asked if I wanted to save the License information I clicked yes.......I think that was a big mistake, because later I downloaded CS2 and the installer won't work.
Error Message:  Error 1310. Error writing to the file: C:\Program Files(x86)\Adobe\Acrobat7.0\AcroPDF.DEU.  Verify that you have access to that directory.       abort      retry     ignore
I believe I have to remove the Acrobat 7.0 license information from my system, but I don't have the abilities to do it.  I have attempted changing permissions on the folders, but no avail.
Can someone please help me?  It seems that Adobe no longer supports me in any other way than this community.
    Thanks
    Curtis

That message doesn't suggest to me anything about licenses. Rather it does suggest a problem with permissions on that folder and the user you are using to install. Can you create files in C:\Program Files(x86)\Adobe\Acrobat7.0?

Is there a to automate this in acrobat.. or can we run this conversion from DOS prompt using commands.. so that I can create a bat file and have them converted. Pls let me know.

I have not tried BMP files, but do JPeg, GIF, TIFF, and PNG files regularly. I simply open Acrobat, then select the graphics files in explorer and drag & drop to Acrobat. I then organize the graphics if needed (using the pages tab) and save to a PDF.

  • Created Menu in JS in Acrobat 9.2 & Issue with Acrobat 9.4.4

I originally created this Javascript on Acrobat
7.0 because there was not a means for me to
    convert a pdf to jpeg.
When I updated to Acrobat 9.2, the following javascript that I have been using until I have acrobat 9.4.4.

          cExec: "this.saveAs('/c/football/JPEG Folder/Rept.jpeg', 'com.adobe.acrobat.jpeg')" });
         // End of media.js
In Acrobat 9.4.4  I have the problem of creating this jpeg now.
I see this issue with Acrobat 9.4.4 on Win XP Sp2 (or Sp3 if its the latest), and on Win 7 (64-bits) pro.
I believe there is now "Save As" menu option that will allow me to save a file to jpg now.
I manually tried this using the tool bar and its all works.
I call this operation using MS Access VBA code.   This is part of the VBA colde that I used:
                Path = pdfFile & T![DirName]
                pptFile = Left(T![DirName], Len(T![DirName]) - 4) & ".ppt"
                Set gApp = CreateObject("AcroExch.App")

                    gApp.MenuItemExecute "SaveToJPEG"
                    Set jso = Nothing
                    pdDoc.Close

                End If
                OldName = "c:\football\JPEG Folder\Rept.jpeg": NewName = "c:\football\JPEG Folder\Rept_Page_" & Format(Count, "000") & ".jpeg"
                Name OldName As NewName
                Count = Count + 1
I am able to call the menu item "SAVE AS", but I don't know how to pass parameters to this ??   I was able to called the "Save As" as follow:
         gApp.MenuItemExecute "Save As"
How would I pass the parameter like I have in my Javascript ??
I need help to resolve this issue to work with Acrobat 9.4.4 ?

You would need to first set some javascript globals from your VBA code and then call your menu item.

  • Acrobat 9 Pro - PDF Optimizer fails when selecting overwrite file during save process

    Hello Everyone,
I am wondering if Acrobat 9 Pro has changed in the way it handles PDF Optimizing functioning when trying to overwrite the file you are attempting to optimize. In Acrobat 8 Professional, it overwrites the file just fine when it gets to the save process. It does work when you modify the name during the save process, however, it would be nice to know if this is "the way it works" or the "program has an issue".
    Thoughts?
Message received when trying to overwrite the file,
COnversion Warnings> "An error was encountered while saving the document."
Logically, it seems as though the application cannot save over an "opened" file thus dumping that message on me.

Adobe has not released a copy of Acorbat that fully works with Windows 7 64bit and Office 2010.
Have you looked at "Save at PDF/XPS" in MS Office?
You may need to run the applications in the 32bit mode.

  • Acrobat Reader X and PDDocSave

I am developing a plugin for Acrobat X and Reader X. Both plugins use the same code to perform a Save As operation. I use the active pdf on screen and save it as a new pdf with a different name using PDDocSave. This works fine for Acrobat, but I get the error "An unimplemented or obsolete function was called" when using the plugin in Reader. My plugin is reader-enabled. The pdf files I am operating on are basic pdfs with some text in them. Any help would be appreciated.
    Here is my code:

    ::free(chrNewFilePath);

    ASPathName asNewPath =  ASFileSysCreatePathName(asFileSys,  ASAtomFromString( "ASTextPath" ), asFilePath, 0);
//Need to save the active pdf as a different file
    PDDocSave( pDoc, PDSaveFull , asNewPath, asFileSys, NULL, NULL);
    Thanks,
    Howie

I found AVDocSaveOptimized() but not AVDocSave(). I haven't been able to test it yet because my addin will no longer load in Reader without READER_PLUGIN defined, and it won't compile AVDocSaveOptimized with READER_PLUGIN defined. Just earlier I had it working so that Reader would still load even when compiled without READER_PLUGIN allowing me to call functions like PDDocSave(). I'll update as soon as I get it fixed.
