Adding custom fields on SC item level

Hi All,
I appended 3 customer fields in structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC.
Shall i append those three fields in structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF ?
Will it create subscreen automatically in SRM7.0?
Please give me any suggesstion.

Customer fields are added automatically to standard dynpro using dedicated subscreen.
Now, with all answers which were given to you on all threads you opened, you should be able to work by yourself.

    This speaks about the status of the Cart. This means that the Status of the Cart is AWAITING APPROVAL...I dont know which document you have gone through but procedure for adding a Custom Field in SRM 7.0 is:
    1. Create a Custom field in the Database in SRM. Preferrably add the field in an include and extend thta include to the table in SE11.
    2. Go to Portal Login of SRM and right click the part of the screen where you want to add the custom field. Click on More Field Help. The popup will give you the name of WebDynpro Applicaiton which controls that area.
    3. Login to SRM via GUI and display the webdynpro application using SE80. Enhance the Webdynpro application.
    4. Add the custom field to the Context of the WebDynpro Application View. You will be selecting the field from the database table while adding the custom field to the context
    5. Add the field at the specified place in Layout Tab of the WebDynpro View,
    6. Create a binding between the Layout Field and the Context
    7. Activate the changes.... you will see the field in Portal login of SRM....

    I have a requirement where I am just trying to add a new field ZZ*** at Item level in ME21N (and no new tabs please)
    I got the modification key and now wat i see is that in screen 1211 SAP has some field mappings with metadata.
    Refer to Include LMEMFSF0T.
    Can you please help me how sud i proceed or  wat can be an alternate way out to solve.

    Hi,
         Another way of doing the same is to use screen-exits for the transaction. You can use the standard enhancement MM06E005 in SMOD for the Purchasing related custom fields. You can add the fields in the screens 0101, 0111 of program SAPLXM06 to get the fields in the tab 'Customer Data' at header level and item level for ME* transactions.
    EXIT_SAPMM06E_006 
    EXIT_SAPMM06E_007 
    EXIT_SAPMM06E_008 
                        are the function modules where u need to do the coding.
    and the fields u have added need to be included in the  includes
    CI_EKKODB
    CI_EKPODB
    of EKKO and EKPO for header level and item level respectively.

  • VA01- Custom field addition on item level (VBAP)

    Hello Guys,
    Requirement is to add custom field to Sales Order item level. I have appended a Z structure in VBAP table, and then added the fields in 8459 screen of SAPMV45A program in a frame.
    Now the frame created is visible, but not the fields (label and text box). I have checked the code and the fields are not hidden in coding (Loop at screen).
    I am able to use the transaction, without any problem after adding the fields in VBAP table and on screen 8459.
    Please advise.

    Hi read this.
    Screen 8459 is embedded in a subscreen container on screen 4462 (SAPMV45A). I'm pretty confident that once you enlarge the subscreen area on 4462 (which I think is the best solution, alternatively you could enable scrolling) you should be able to see all your custom fields. Unfortunately this is a modification, so you need an access key for SAPMV45A.
    This problem actually gave me some headache with a client, because the actually displayed fields were still fitting into the subscreen container. I.e. we had lots of fields (and rows), but most were dynamically hidden. However, it seemed that the compression of lines due to hidden fields was not happening before fitting the subscreen into the subscreen container and therefore certain fields got lost. Once I enlarged the corresponding container on 4462 everything worked fine.

  • SRM 7.0 -Adding Custom fields in Contract Item screen at particular positn

    Hi,
    We have a requirement to add new custom fields in the Contract Item screen at required position, in Left and right side container.
    We have tried the following methods but have not been able to achieve the same. Kindly help!
    1) Added new field in Context through enhancemnt in the Details screen View of Contract , Binded the field to the field in structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_CTR and add the field to teh Layout - Using this method, The field is not saved to the table.
    2) Added the field to meta data table /SAPSRM/V_MDF_IC - This is positionng the field on teh right container at the bottom. We want to position it on left side.
    Kindly help to understand where we are going wrong.

    Hi Prasuna,
    Sorry ..You are right..I was looking at some other WDC related to contract data..It you map the CUFs to /SAPSRM/S_CLL_CTR_ITEM which has the include structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_CTR then it should work fine.
    If you do this, are you able to view the new fields on the screen?
    you mentioned that you are not able to save the data to the table.
    Include your fields in INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF as well because if you add CUF to any of those doc types, you also have to add those CUF to the global structure for CUF documents.
    Also Check if you fields are there in structures BBPS_CTR_CUF_ITEM,BBPS_CTR_UI_ITEM and BBPS_CTR_ITEM.
    Check whether you have implemented the BADI's like BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI ,BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI and BBP_DOC_SAVE_BADI . check out the structures (whether they having the CUFS) used in those if you have implemented any of them .

    Generally through the INCL_EEW* structures,you can add the custom fields for the Bid Item only under the BASIC DATA tab.If you want to show up a field on the Item overview screen,then this will need std code modification(screen modification) or  need to  modify the HTML template for the BID item overview screen in the ITS service BBP_QUOT which will need lot of HTML expertise.

    We have a requirement to update WBS Element for Planning related Data. So have added custom field(WBS Element)  in structure CI_FAGLFLEX04.
    The field is visible when I open FAGLFLEXP table, but when I post data The custom field (WBS Element) is not being updated. Could you please let me know the process to update this field?

    The procedure isn't so simple. There are several posts on the subject SCN. I suggest research before you start developing.

    However, the most important is: a) Is it really necessary to change the standard? b) There could be a Z table containing the new information and referencing FAGLFLEXP? c) What is the transaction that will keep the data? It has Exit´s for what you need?
    As Vadamalai said below,
    Actually your approach may be wrong, first as an ABAPer should ask to functional team, which transaction and where to insert the fields, it could be header or item level(I am saying example)
    Based on tcode, you need to enhance the table level as well as the screen exit/BADI we need to pass screen to internal programming structure. the structure type will be table type of FAGLFLEXP.

    As naveen sadid use Cutomer_i object . I guess it will be more appropriate.

    I am having big doubt also a lot of confussion as per my understanding regarding adding custom fields to SC.
    I believe,
    i) It can be achieved by configuration in spro with respect to Meta data frame.
    i,e  Configure field control->configure control for fields on Header/Item level
    after that
    configure customer fields->Define cistomer fields on Header/Item level.
    ii) I also doubt fields can be added through Webdynpro enhancement of standard component.
    Pls clarify my doubt with little detail which is the best way to achieve my requirement ??
    Is Webdynpro Enhancement  really needed ??

       Example for  Adding fields in SC accounting Tab ...follow the below example
    1. Add custom field ZZTESTACCT  in   structure   INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF by  using  append structure.
    2. Spro ->Supplier Relationship Management u2192 SRM Server u2192 Cross application basic settings u2192 Extensions and field controls (personalization) u2192 Configure field control ->Configure Control for Fields of Substructures
    then click on  "Metadata for Fields of Substructures and Table-Like Enhancements"
    add the below entry
    Bus. Object Set Type  : 31
    Structure Field Name  : ZZTESTACCT
    Bus. Object Type       : BUS2121
    Set Level                    : Item
    Field Visible :  Check box should be checked
    Field Enable :  check box should be checked
    if you create the above entry then you can see ZZTESTACCT field in the accounting tab.
    Second point :
    WD_BADI_DOMODIFYVIEW  is a Badi you can implement this badi for the WD component and View to handle the UI elements.

    u can check the table MODSAP
    u can check the table MODACT
    For BADI's,
    1)goto to tcode SE24 give the CL_EXITHANDLER and display and then double click on the GET_INSTANCE
    keep Break point at this location 'call method cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface'
    then the tcode it will trigger there and we can debugg there we can find badi'for that tcode and then remove the break point.
    2)Goto to tcode->status->program name->double click on that program will display's
    then  press crtl+F then cl_exithandler

    I need to add custom fields (Document Locator Number - ZDLN, and Post Mark Date - ZPMD) from table DFKKOP to transactions FPE1/2/3 under ADDITIONAL DATA area while manually entering NEW BUSINESS PARTNER ITEM.
    The transaction is not BDT enabled and does not have a screen exit. The user exit and BaDI dont seem helpful to me.
    The screenshot below shows the user exits and BaDI for the transaction.

    Yea i got the functional guys to configure it. Was a unique issue!.....But I know how they did it.
    You can add it through SPRO transaction. Go to the below mentioned path.
    Go to SAP Reference IMG
    Financial Accounting > Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable > Basic Functions > Posting and Documents > Document >
    Screen Preparartions > Include Own Fields in Detail Screens.
    Here you need to enter the details from FPE1 transaction screen.
    Activity Documentation:
    Include Own Fields in Detail Screens
    In this activity you can, if you have added customer fields to the document structures, include these customer fields in the entry screens of the transaction for posting documents.
    For the detail screens (business partner item and G/L account item) you can create a screen that contains your own fields. You must create this screen as a subscreen using the Screen Painter. In addition you have to create modules for the intialization and for data transfer (PBO and PAI).
    Activities
    If you have extended the document strutures to includes customer fields, and you need these fields in the entry screens for posting documents, you must create the screen using the Screen Painter.
    Carry out this step to create the screen and the modules that go with it in the system. You do not have to activate these afterwards.
    Further notes
    Read the field help for each field in the table. This describes the exact procedure.

  • Mass update of a custom field at Product Revenue level

    We are trying to update a custom field at Product Revenue level using the Opportunity Web Service. The webservice call is timing out as we have thousands of Opportunities.
    I would appreciate if anybody gives input on how we can massively update a custom field using Opportunity Web Service.

    Is there a way to mass update a custom field at Product Revenue level other than using a web service.

    If you are not very much obsessed with Webservices, the other workaround is the Data Loader Tool. It was discussed earlier in this forum.

    Hi All,
    I have read the post [here|How to add custom fields to Embedded Search; about adding custom fields to Embedded Search. I am looking to add Employee Subgroup for use in Talent Management (specifically the STVN SuccessionPlanning component) and wanted to know if anyone can expand on the instructions in the link to add this field.
    It appears to be part of the HRTMC_PERSON search object connector already and while I've done some IMG configuration the field is showing in SuccessionPlanning, but not displaying any data.
    Additionally, I'd be interested in any tips to add information that is not from PA0002 should it be required in the future.

    Hi Luke,
    I am assuming here that your search request fields are based on HRTCM_CENTRALPERSON search template. To enable your search to work on employee subgroup please do the following
    1) Check if the HRTMC_PERSON Template extracts the data from Infotype 0001 via SPRO node 'Define Search Models and Change Pointer' Extraction Class is 'CL_HRTMC_SEARCH_READ_PA_INFTY'.
    2) Via ESH_COCKPIT, goto Template Modeler and select your custom Software Component and press Edit. Goto roadmap step 5 - Define Requests - where all search request fields are defined. Its using these fields Talent search works.
    3) Select the search request e.g. 'SAP_TALENT_NAKISA', it would then show list searchable attributes in below table. Using 'Add' button select path for PERSK so that it can searched.
    It would look like this once selected
    OBJID(REL_CP_P)->HRTMC_REL_CP_P_209.REL_CP_P(REL_CP)->HRTMC_PERSON.OBJID->HRTMC_PERSON.ORG_ASSIGNMENT
    4) In step SPRO 'Define Search Requests and Search Field Names' , define Employee subgroup field with AliasSearchField = PERSK since thats what is defined in roadmap step 5.
