Dynamic queue name with JMS Queue XML?

Hi,
Is it possible to use dynamic queue name with JMS Queue XML?
I tried using a variable in the JNDI URL, and supply the value in a package. I specified the following in the JNDI URL in the Topology:
e.g.
<JMS_RESOURCE>?d=<DTD_FILE>&s=<SCHEMA>&JMS_DESTINATION=#PROJECT_NAME.dest_var
I declared and set the variable in a package, then tried to load data from the above data server to database. But executing this package gave me the following error:
7000 : null : java.sql.SQLException: javax.jms.JMSException: Cannot find the target in JNDI (#PROJECT_NAME.dest_var)
java.sql.SQLException: javax.jms.JMSException: Cannot find the target in JNDI (#PROJECT_NAME.dest_var)

hi,
as it's not in Adapter-Specific Message Properties
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/10/b1b4c8575a6e47954ad63438d303e4/content.htm
looks like you cannot do it with jms adapter in standard
use proxy or your own adapter instead

  • Dynamic Quee names in JMS Channel

    Hi,
    Message is being sent from SAP -> PI -> TIBCO using JMS queues using JMS channels.
    Is it possible to configure the queue names based on the value in the message?
    Thanks,
    Aravind

    Hi,
    you need to set a dynamic queue in PI or in JMS ?
    the blog mentiones how to create a queue in PI (on the basis of content)
    and that's how I understood your question...
    if you want to set dynamic queue for the JMS then I don't know the way
    hope we're talking about the same thing here
    BTW
    with JMS receiver you can only set those values dynamically:
    JMS Message Correlation ID DCJMSCorreleationID
    JMS Message Expiration DCJMSExpiration
    JMS Message Priority DCJMSPriority
    JMS Message ReplyTo Destination DCJMSReplyTo
    JMS Message Timestamp DCJMSTimestamp
    and JMS message properties but not the queue name
    if you need to set a queue name in JMS dynamically (and we did that in our project)
    was to send everything to one queue (router queue) and the real queue name was specifed in the JMS message property
    and JMS (activeMQ - camel) was able to distribute from dummy queue to the one from the JMS message property
    (config only - no coding so I'd assume most of the JMS should be able to do the same)

  • Dynamic File Name with PayloadSwapBean

    I’ve  created an abap proxy with a small schema containing PO and PO_Line with an attachment that is a zipped PDF file (.zip).
    I have configured a File adapter with the payloadswapbean to place the attached .zip file in an FTP folder.  Now I need to dynamically name the .zip file using the proxy payload values.
    <PONUM>_ <POLine>.zip
    Variable Substitution takes place after the payload has been swapped so I am not able to use that.  How can I take my proxy XML payload and dynamically create the file name?  I have tried DynamicConfigurationBean but it seems to come back null when trying to read the XI FileName:
    Write http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/XI FileName I have flagged the Adapter Specific Message Attributes for FileName.
    What options do I have?

    Hi George,
    You can use Dynamic Configuration UDF code to set ASMA FileName parameter for FTP in message mapping program. Search SDN for UDF code
    Use the below UDF between source proxy field having filename and target top most node
    try{
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey KEY_FILENAME = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
    conf.put(KEY_FILENAME, var1); //var1 from proxy payload field
    catch(Exception e){//Do some action if required}
    return "1";

  • Dynamic attachment name with receiver mail adapter and use mail package

    We need to send mapped XML payload as attachment (with dynamic name) to a recepient (recepient email id is part of input xml payload, but not part of the mapped XML payload).
    I could probably do this using the adapter module (as per the following link),
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/Adapter%20Module%20PI%207.0%20Set%20Attachment%20Name?bc=true
    I would like to explore if this would be feasible using Mail package and XI payload.I already have a Java mapping that is converting the input XML to required Output format. If I am using Mail package (XI Payload), how do I go about sending this Output XML from java mapping as attachment to email id available in the input payload?

    Hi,
    1) XML payload as attachment (with dynamic name)
    2) recipient (recipient email id is part of input xml payload, but not part of the mapped XML payload)
    These two is possible by using Mail Package. You have a standard xsd for mail package which you can download from the SAP Note 748024.
    The xml created in you java mapping which will be your attachment should be put into the <content> tag of the mail package xml structure. and the file name can be set in the <Content_Type> tag.
    <?xml version="1.0"; encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <p2:Mail xmlns:p2="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Mail/30">
    <Subject>My Invoice</Subject>
    <From>from email address<;/From>
    <To>to email address</To>
    <Content_Type>text/plain;name="MyFile.csv";</Content_Type>  --> file name here
    <Content>123;A49;aaa</Content>   -> attachment xml here
    </p2:Mail>
    And you have to select MailPackage in the receiver mail adapter.

  • AS3 - dynamic class names with *new* operator

    I'm using AcrtionScript 3 and Adobe Flash 9 Public Alpha.
    I have 50 movie clips in the Library that use Linkage to set
    the Class name to: Img1, Img2, Img3, ..., Img50.
    I have a parent class named RandImg. I want the constructor
    for RandImg to randomly select one of the 50 movie clips from the
    Library and display it. I could get this working by generating a
    random number, and then writing a really huge switch statement to
    associate each possible random number with its respective Library
    Movie Clip Class name, but I would much rather do this with a
    dynamic/variable class name based on the random number, such as:
    var nImgChoice:Number = Math.floor( Math.random( ) * 50 ) +
    1;
    var mcImg:MovieClip = new [ "Img"+String(nImgChoice) ] ( );
    addChild( mcImg );
    Note that this used to be possible in AS 2 by doing the
    following:
    this.attachMovie( "Img"+String(nImgChoice) , "mcImg",
    this.getNextHighestDepth());
    Suggestions?
    Thanks,
    ~JC

    import flash.display.DisplayObject;
    import flash.display.Sprite;
    import flash.utils.getDefinitionByName;
    var nImgChoice:Number = Math.floor( Math.random( ) * 50 ) +
    1;
    var ClassReference:Class =
    getDefinitionByName("Img"+String(nImgChoice) ) as
    Class;
    var instance:Object = new ClassReference();
    addChild(DisplayObject(instance));

  • Dynamic column name with SELECT INTO

    I am trying to build a function that derives a pay amount from a set of business rules. There are about 40 columns that hold various pay amounts and their column names are variations of 4 indicators (day shift, vs night shift, etc.) that I have to dynamically look up, ie here is the ID number and a timecard, now figure out which of the 40 fields to look up to get the pay amount.
    I can determine from the timecard and employee ID which field to look at, but I'm getting hung up with the syntax needed to construct and execute the statement inside the PL/SQL block. I need to RETURN the pay I extract using the function, and I can create the correct SQL statement, but the EXECUTE IMMEDIATE won't accept the SELECT INTO syntax.
    Can someone please suggest a solution? Here is the function:
    create or replace FUNCTION FN_GET_PAYRATE(tc in NUMBER, e in NUMBER, pc in VARCHAR2)

    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('SQL: ' || var_sql);
    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE var_sql;

    RETURN payrt;
    ELSE
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('ERROR');
    RETURN 1;
    END IF;
    END;
    I have alternately tried this:
    SELECT NVL(var_col,.01) into payrt
    FROM TS_PAYRATES
    WHERE PROJECT_ID = proj AND ACTIVE = 1
    AND JOB_TYPE = CHR(39) || e_typ || CHR(39)
    AND PILE_ID = CHR(39) || pl_cd || CHR(39);
    as a substitute for the EXECUTE IMMEDIATE block, but I can't seem to use a dynamic substitution for the column name.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    That's the most difficult part - the error messages seem to indicate a problem with the SQL statement in its execution context, because I can take the SQL string by itself and it executes perfectly.

  • IDOC to multiple file with dynamic file names with same content

    Hi,
    My scenario is from IDOC to file.
    The number of files which i need to create is dynamic, which depends on the number of plants.
    I have a Z-table where i will maintin list of all plants ( non SAP plant names).
    I need to fetch the data from this z-table and depending on the nunber of plants i need to create the file for each plant and fiel name should contain plant name in it. EX: abc_<plant>_datatype.txt
    I want to use only receiver one CC, and files should be created in the same directory.
    Can we do this without BPM?

    Hi,
    You can use the Mapping lookup concept to fetch the plant names from Z-tables and then you can use the variable substitution technique to resolve your purpose.
    Here you need to create multiple interfaces ie.e per plant to create multiple files. You can use common Communication channel for all.

    You cannot specify your dates the way you have since they are being intepreted as bind variables:
    Try this:

    LiveCycle does provide a Java API to forms; LiveCycle is in fact a suite of programs, mostly enterprise level for running on server (next to which the cost of the master suite is a drop in the ocean). LiveCycle Designer is perhaps the only end user tool, and it is not for server use and doesn't have an API.
    Are you looking for a server solution? If so, nothing in the master suite can help, it isn't for server use.

  • Integration with JMS Weblogic server, Couldn't connect to any host

    Hi ,
    I am doing XI to JMS integration(weblogic JMS server) ,have created a communication channel of type JMS and gave the following parameters.
    Transport Protocal  : Access JMS Provider with JNDI
    Message protocal    : JMS 1.X
    JNDI Lookup name with
    queueconnectionfactory :MyJMSConnectionFactory
    JNDI Lookup name with JMS Queue : MyJMSQueue
    Name of JNDI initial context factory : weblogic.jndi.WLInitialContextFactory
    <b>JNDI Server Address: http://isccap:7001/</b>
    all these parameters are working fine when used in a Client java program by which i am able to put and retrive message from Weblogic JMS server queue.
    But the same is not working in XI adapter ,
    I am getting the following error in adapter monitoring
    Zsrl_JMS_Reciever Receiver channel. Details: <u>Couldn't connect to any host</u>
    I guess the problem is with <b>JNDI Server Address: http://isccap:7001/</b>
    Is the format "http://host:port"  correct for weblogic server,
    are the JMS port and JNDI port same or different .
    I have deployed the required drivers "wlclient.jar" in XI server .
    Thanks in advance ,
    srikanth Lanka

    weblogic works on the Tenga3 protocol and hence the URL to connect to the JNDI provider of weblogic is
    t3://host:port
    At least in case of Weblogic you connect to your J2EE resources using your JNDI registry so the port would be the same.

  • How to handle Dynamic File Name

    Hello All,
    I have a  requirement, I have to download a file from application server to my ABAP program which will be executed in the background. The problem is the file name is a dynamic file name with timestamp on it. So how do I read the file from the application server. I know there are certain function modules but I don't think so that they can work in background.
    So If anyone has worked on it before your reply would be helpful.

    Hi,
    Use this funcation module this will return you the list of files in a directory...
    It will work even in back group processing also..
    SUBST_GET_FILE_LIST
    or if it is unix environ ment.
    data: begin of t_tabl occurs 0,
    line(132),
    end of t_tabl,
    data: lc_command(100) type c.
    Get all the file name falling under specified directory...
    lc_command(3) = 'ls '.
    lc_command+3(45) = p_dir. " Directory of file path
    call 'SYSTEM' id 'COMMAND' field lc_command
    id 'TAB' field t_tabl-sys.
    Check any files exits in the directory.......................
    if t_tabl[] is initial.
    message e006 with 'No files exist in the specified directory ' p_dir.
    endif.
    here you will have all the file names in t_tab1 you can sort by name and will get the latest file in order..

  • JDeveloper - ESB / BPEL - JMS Adapter - prefix queue name with db schema

    When I use the JMS Adapter in ESB to create a new message queue producer or consume using database (AQ) I'm experiencing a problem when selecting the queue.
    I can browse the queue in the database but when I have selected the queue JDeveloper prefix it with the schema name owning the queue.
    Example:
    java:comp/resource/DocumentQueueResourceProvider/Queues/QUEUES.DOCUMENT_IMPORT_QUEUE
    Schema owner is QUEUES and the name of the queue is DOCUMENT_IMPORT_QUEUE.
    The problem is when I try to use it its unable to look up the queue and I have to manually remove the prefix from .wsdl file before deploying it - as with setting mcf.IsTransacted='false'.
    When the resource provider finds the queue and exposes it in the JNDI three it does it without the prefix.
    Question: How do I either:
    a) make the schema prefix be removed by JDeveloper
    b) make the resource provider prefix the queue name with the schema name.
    Anybody?
    Best regards

  • Dynamic Queue names at JMS receiver

    HI All,
                I have a scenario where sender is an RFC and receiver is via JMS  and also get a reply back . JMS is asynchonous but as suggested in other threads it is possible to capture the response by setting some Adapter specific parameters.
                But my problem is the queue name for the response is not constant and it varies from request to request for the response. I have no clue how to achieve this , I tried searching some threads but couldn't come to a conclusion.
                Possibility of dynamic MQ queue selection in one receiver JMS channel
                help on Dynamic queue name in JMS Adapter
    Has anyone come across such a situation ? Please suggest.
    Also In one of threads it was suggested to use Java Proxy?  Please suggest a way forward in this approach too
    Regards,
    Mohan.

    > please refer the link what you provided in section 2.8 mentioned JMS Receiver communication channel will give response back,but i never tried.
    Yest because this document is applicabe for a scenario where request msg will come form sender JMS to XI and then Response will be sent back again to JMS by using receiver JMS adapter. So senario is JMS request --- R3 (via XI) --- R3 response to JMS.
    But here case is different. e.g. RFC --> PI --> JMS  and reply will get back from JMS  to RFC.  So definetly in this case response will come from sender JMS and not from receiver JMS.
    Read sec 2.8 throughly, you will come to know how to set the queue names dynamically for RECEIVER JMS Adapter.

  • Create jms queue xml data server

    Hi,
    What's the difference between jms queue and jms queue xml data servers and how to create jms queue xml data server.
    Thanks.

    Hello,
    JMS messages can principally be processed by Oracle Data Integrator in two formats:
    - JMS Messages: containers for rows of data, handled through JMS Queue/JMS Topic Technologies. With JMS Queue/JMS Topic technologies, each JMS destination is defined similarly to a flat file datastore. Each message in the destination is a record in the datastore.
    - XML Messages: containers for XML files, handled through JMS XML Queue/JMS XML Topic Technologies. With JMS XML Queue/JMS XML Topic technologies, each messages payload contains a complete XML data structure. This structure is mapped into a relational schema (XML Schema) which appears as a model. This use the Oracle DI Driver for XML (see the driver documentation in Oracle DI documentation).
    Find below a step by step creation process for such a destination:
    1. Data Server
    To create a JMS XML Queue data server, you declare a simple JNDI connection. The only JMS XML specific information is added to the URL. This information defines the XML file format.
    The JNDI URL should be : <JMS_RESOURCE>?d=<DTD_FILE>&f=<XML_FILE>&s=<SCHEMA>&JMS_DESTINATION=<JMS_DESTINATION_NAME>
    - JMS_RESOURCE: JNDI resource corresponding to your JMS queue that will contain the XML payload. You would specify this URL if you were managing normal JMS messages.
    - DTD_FILE: path to a DTD file that describes the XML structure. Mandatory if the parameter XML_FILE is omitted.
    - XML_FILE: path to the XML file with a structure similar to the expected XML messages. Mandatory if the DTD_FILE parameter is omitted.
    - SCHEMA: schema name that will contain the XML structure. This value must match the one set for the physical schema attached to this data server. This parameter is mandatory.
    - JMS_DESTINATION_NAME: name of the JMS queue or topic. This parameter is mandatory.
    2. Schema
    Creation is straightforward: In the Schema (Schema) and Schema (Work Schema), enter the name of the <SCHEMA> defined in the data server JNDI URL.
    3. Model
    Use standard reverse-engineering. As the Oracle DI Driver for XML is used the XML structure will be reversed as a relational structure.
