  • Embedding Java Code(URGENT)

    Hello,
    I'm trying to do the following, I'm trying to embed Java code into my BPEL process, I have read the tutorial that explains how to embed a java code into BPEL(http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/bpel/pdf/orabpel-Training-Segment10.pdf) but unfortunately the tutorial discusses only how to call the Entity Bean but doesnt mention where in folders(directory) should the bean itself be placed, where are the imports.
    I'm going to start with a simple example, a class called Multiplier that has function square, Here is the code for the class:
    //Java Multiplier class
    public class Multiplier{
    public Multiplier(){}
    public int square(int x){
    return x*x; }
    this is code that will be placed in the EXEC(Java code snippet):
    //Java Code Snippet goes here...
    try{
    Object input= getVariableData
    ("input","payload","/JavaCode");
    String parser= input.toString();
    int in= Integer.parseInt(parser);
    Multiplier obj1= new Multiplier();
    int result= obj1.square(in);
    addAuditTrailEntry("The square of the input is:"+result);
    catch(Exception en){
    addAuditTrailEntry(en);
    Where should the multiplier class be located(in which folder in the ecplise)or how will the BPEL refer to it ?
    Shouldnt I import the Multiplier class in the EXEC(snippet) where should that line go?
    Thanks in advance
    Hussam Galal

  • Error while using Java bindings in BPEL (WSIF)

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to invoke a java method from BPEL process using WSIF and get the response back from it.
    MY java method accepts an input parameter which is object of anothe class.
    When I tried to invoke the java class from BPEL, I am getting the following error:
    [email protected] : Could not invoke 'getFullName'; nested exception is: org.collaxa.thirdparty.apache.wsif.WSIFException: Class 'com.services.test.Employee' is not compatible; nested exception is: java.lang.NullPointerException
    Please find below the java class that I created:
    package com.services.test;
    import com.services.test.Employee;
    import com.services.test.EmployeeFullRecord;
    public class EmployeeRecord {
    public EmployeeRecord() {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    EmployeeRecord employeeRecord = new EmployeeRecord();
    public EmployeeFullRecord getFullName(Employee emp) {
    String fullName = emp.getFname() + emp.getLname();
    EmployeeFullRecord emp1 = new EmployeeFullRecord();
    emp1.setFullName(fullName);
    return emp1;
    The following is the wsdl that I created with JAva bindings:
    <types>
    <schema attributeFormDefault="qualified"
    elementFormDefault="qualified"
    targetNamespace="urn:EmployeeRecord"
    xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

    </types>

    <java:address className="com.services.test.EmployeeRecord"/>
    </port>
    </service>
    Please let me know if I have missed out something.
    THanks in advance!!!

    Hi,
    I have created another such service as above and placed the class files in <oraclehome>/bpel/system/classes and invoked the java code from bPEL.
    Now i am getting the following error:
    com.collaxa.cube.ws.wsif.providers.java.WSIFOperation_Java@98065 : Could not invoke 'createIdentity'; nested exception is: org.collaxa.thirdparty.apache.wsif.WSIFException: Class 'com.testx.wam.services.gen.identity.CreateRequest' is not compatible; nested exception is: javax.xml.bind.UnmarshalException: unexpected element (*uri:"",* local:"createRequest"). Expected elements are <{http://services.test.com/shared/xmlschema/user/1}CreateResponse>
    My question is why am I getting URL as empty when I am actually passing the URL to the service. I have highlighted the uri which is showing as empty above.
    Please help me solve this issue.
    Thanks in advance!!!

    did u deploy your dbadapter through console to the plan mentioned for deployment?

  • Error while checking the flow of bpel process in bpel console

    Hi Experts
    I have created one bpel process which invokes task manager for approving or rejecting the leave request. I ve successfully deployed the bpel process and also able to test approve or reject the leave request . But i am facing one error
    when i am initiate a bpel process and started to check the flow of that bpel process in bpelconsole it gives me some error message in small pop up like
    error : Internal/ bug ( #589 )
    \u017E is not defined
    i click Ok and after this no error and all working well.
    Thanks.

    A quick answer is:
    1. make sure you defined the Application/Integration Server in your developer (user/pass you have - if not oc4jadmin then one the IT gave you).
    2. Deploy your project to that server.
    3. Choose the correct domain in the Console when deploying.
    Is this what you wanted to know???

    Hi ,
    In your java project frm jdev..right click and choose general and then choose deployment profiles and then choose Jar ..and then give some appropriate name(abc) and then click ok.
    Then under resources file u get a abc.deploy file right click and say deploy to jar ..u will find the jar in that director.Now include this jar in your prjct libraries.
    have a look at the link http://niallcblogs.blogspot.com/search/label/embedded%20Java

  • Error creating web service proxy for bpel process in jdev 10.1.3

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a web service proxy in Jdeveloper 10.1.3, and get the following error:
    Element type "fault" is missing required attribute "name"
    I have created a fault on one of the operations, and in the .wsdl file there is a name attribute:
    <operation name="process">
    <fault name="TestError" message="client:TestErrorMessage"/>

    The fault definition in the .wsdl obtained from the process when you access it over http is somewhat different:
    <fault>

  • Error while invoking stored procedure from BPEL process

    Hi Folks,
    I am facing the below mentioned issue while invoking a stored procedure in BPEL process :
    I am trying to invoke a stored procedure from a BPEL process. The process runs fine for the first/second time, but gives the below error after that whenever i try to run the process :
    file:/oracle/orasoa/bpel/domains/default/tmp/.bpel_ProvisionOrderASAPReqABCSImpl_1.0_50dd1595129e9bbb00560e31e7c18cef.tmp/DB_CALL_GetPendingSubscriptionProc.wsdl [ DB_CALL_GetPendingSubscriptionProc_ptt::DB_CALL_GetPendingSubscriptionProc(InputParameters,OutputParameters) ] - WSIF JCA Execute of operation 'DB_CALL_GetPendingSubscriptionProc' failed due to: Error while trying to prepare and execute an API.

    ; nested exception is:
    ORABPEL-11811
    Error while trying to prepare and execute an API.
    An error occurred while preparing and executing the PROC_GET_PENDING_SUBSCR API. Cause: java.sql.SQLException: Io exception: Connection reset [Caused by: Io exception: Connection reset]
    Check to ensure that the API is defined in the database and that the parameters match the signature of the API. Contact oracle support if error is not fixable.
    I am not getting how the BPEL is referring to the DB wsdl from the tmp folder. To resolve this issue, we have to stop the SOA server, delete the tmp files, and restart the server.
    Any pointers in this regard will be really helpful.

    First of all does this scenario occur again.
    "Works first/second time. Later gives this error."
    After you restart the SOA server are you able to reproduce this scenario?
    As already pointed out and from the error message, database connection is reset.
    If you find this error again, try this out.
    em -> home / oc4j_soa -> Administration -> JDBC Resources
    Use the "Test Connection" option for the Connection Pool that you are using for your database JNDI.
    It comes back and say "Connection to "XYZCP" established successfully." it is good to use.
    Run the BPEL process again and once you find the error, come back and test the connection.
    If it comes back with Error, diagnose based on the error message received.
    Cheers

  • Error shown in console while running BPEL process

    We have built one BPEL process that creates AR invoices in Oracle Apps from a legacy system. While deploying the process it deploys without Error, but when viewing the process through BPEL Console by clicking the instance it throws Below ERROR -- "java.rmi.RemoteException: No Exception - originate from:java.lang.Exception: No Exception - originate from:; nested exception is:
    java.lang.Exception: No Exception - originate from:"
    We have increased <transaction-config timeout="90000"/> residing in Oracle_Home\integration\orabpel\system\appserver\oc4j\j2ee\home\server.xml file. but still the Error remains same....
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Regards,
    Suman

    Have you created a connection pool with the JNDI specified while configuring adapter in Oracle Apps adapter on weblogic admin console. You should create it at Deployments --> OracleAppsAdapter --> Configuration--> Outbound Connection pools
    Make sure to update the adapter after creating a connection pool so that changes can take effect.

    sorry for the late reply. The problem is that Oracle XDK is not compatible with the junitreport task. I believe there are some post install steps (due to licensing issues) that you need to perform before running the ant task. This is noted in the release notes (copied below):
    1. base site for xalan is http://xml.apache.org/xalan-j/ site. to download, go to: http://www.apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi/xml/xalan-j. then from the recommended mirror site download xalan-j_2_7_0-bin.zip.
    2. unzip this file.
    3. copy unzip_dir\xalan-j_2_7_0\serializer.jar to Oracle_Home\bpel\lib\serializer_2.7.0.jar. copy unzip_dir\xalan-j_2_7_0\xalan.jar to Oracle_Home\bpel\lib\xalan_2.7.0.jar. Note the filename change
    4. no change to obsetenv is needed.

  • View Compilation Errors in Embedded Java Activity

    Hi,
    Is there any way to see the compilation errors in the Embedded Java Activity in the BPEL.
    Thanks,
    Ajay

    Hi,
    Exceptions are automatically converted to BPEL faults and thrown back in BPEL.
    But to see some errors , one can use try catch block with audit trail entry in catch block like :
    try {
    catch (Exception e){
    addAuditTrailEntry(e);
    I have not used this so not sure if this will work.

    Ketan
