Error while creating external operation in Routing

Hi Freinds,
I am creating an external operation in a routing and I enter the purchasing info record which is created for the material.
But when I try to enter this info record in the external operation then I get the Error: "Enter info record without Material"
Already info record is created for this material then what could be the problem. This is stopping the routing creation .Please help.

If the material is procured by means of subcontracting process, then we need to assign in the material master MRP2 view with special procurement key 30, create the BOM for the material, which would contain the components which would be Issued to the vendor. In this case you would be performing all the transaction with referance to the Output material number, so an Inforecord of SubContract category needs to be created with referance to the Output material, where you Issue the components and you can recieve your material.
In case of operation subcontract the PR or Purchase order would be with account assignment to the production order and not with referance to any material, so there wont be any referance to any material number (Product), you can Issue components for processing, but when recieving it is again not with referance to any material but operation delivery.

Somehow I solved this issue. I dont remember what exactly I did, as it was sometime back in December. I think I used the Wizard initially to do the configurations in Solution Manager and again i tried to do the same manually as the earlier one threw some errors.
It seems the wizard proceeded half-way through and hence the entry was made in the database already and hence that error.
Anyways thank you for replying me.

Error while creating external table

Hi i tried to create external table. The table is created but while selecting that table it is throwing below errors
ORA-29913: error in executing ODCIEXTTABLEOPEN callout

In the temp directory i've a text file countries1.txt

You are missing something. Most probably the file does not exists in your specified path. This is working in my 10.2.0.3

Error while creating external alias for BSPs & DMS

Hello All,
Has anybody encountered the below error dump while creating the external aliases for Business Server Pages and Document Management Service?
The error dump I have received is "ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY"
"A Row with same key already exists"
The error has ocurred in the program "RSICFTREE".
I am getting this above described error while navigating to the "Target Element" tab.
Can anybody help pls?

ODI XML data server error while creating External databse tables.

i am trying to create External database tables using XML data server.
i am getting the following error,i have done this same thing for small xml files before.

With no details of how you configured the XML server, what were the parameters used in the configuration for using external database, etc, I dont know how much can someone help you.
This is an Oracle error, so a few things that could be problematic with your "big" xml -
1.) An element name could be of length > 30 characters (Oracle table name length limit is 30)
2.) There are some special characters in the element name
3.) Element name begins with a Number
4.) Element name is an Oracle reserved word.
This list can go on.

I Have uploaded one .exe file in the application server (eg: sum.exe) and created the OS command in SM69 transaction .
And maintained the application server path in the 'operating system command' field in SM69 t.code.
Our SAP system, oprating system is UNIX.
After I have executed the external command using transaction SM49 , but I got the below error.
Can not execute external program (permission denied) , External program terminated with exit code 1
Immediately I run the SU53 transaction code to check the authorization, but Authorization was successful.
Could any one please help on this error.

You need to give the permission as 755 to your file.

You are on UNIX and do not expect to any result of .exe file as UNIX doesn't know about this.

Where can we find that directory in the server. You have to provide for it's existence.
So you must create C:/Oracle on the server or have your ext_tab_dir point to some existing directory on the server (better if dedicated to external tables for not creating confusion)
You must also see to have read and write OS rights and have granted read (and write) privileges on directory ext_tab_dir to your_user_name

If you can use utl_file try to use utl_file_dir as your ext_tab_dir to perform the test => copy your file to the directory your utl_file_dir is pointing to and do select * from test

Error while creating PO in operation subcontracting

I am getting an Error while creating PO in operation subcontracting.When I'm trying to convert the purchase requisition for the operation in the routing into a Purchase order it gives me the error "Not possible to determine any components".Please guide me why I am getting this error. I have already assigned the component to the operation in the routing. I also have this component in stock. But no Idea why I'm getting this error

please check ,
Assign a recursive BOM for the material for which you want to create the purchase order .ie. create a BOM of mat say X having a component X and marking the indicator recursive ticked.
Please create the BOM which is valid much before the date of creating a purchase requisition .
And proceed for the creation of subcontract purchase requisition.
Please Revert back, if the problem is solved.

Error while creating model classes, operation aborted in NWDS

Hi All,
When i select Adaptive rfc 2 model and then search for the RFC, when i select RFC and click on next i get an error while importing :
Error while creating model classes, operation aborted.
It is working fine in visual composer and i have activated function module, RFC but getting same error. It is also working in web service navigator also.
Can any one help me out??

I have tested the JCO destinations they are working fine and i created a new pair of JCO destinations but unable to import the Adaptive RFC2 Model gives same error but Adaptive webservices are working fine in my NWDS7.2

I have sufficient amount of memory in my drive.
I have imported the DC to other NWDS but it gives same error.

Error while creating new crosstab using

I am getting the following error while creating a new crosstab object within Swing application. This error has started coming after we applied Oracle patch 9206 on database. The error originates from one of the classes in the olap_api_92.jar.

I suspect that you have either not fully applied the patch or alternatively the patching process did not complete.
If you are using an analytic workspace, connect as OLAPSYS account and run the following commands:
exec CWM2_OLAP_METADATA_REFRESH.MR_REFRESH
exec CWM2_OLAP_METADATA_REFRESH.MR_AC_REFRESH
If this does not resolve the error, and assuming your system worked prior to applying the 9206 patch, then the patch may need to be reapplied.

First of all the sicf transaction is to be used only if you use the internal ITS.
Now you have to put an external breakpoint in the source code of the ABAP Program or FM you want to debug , one of these in your case :

Error While Creating Windows Server 2008 SP2 32-BIT Virtual Machine

I am facing an error while creating a Virtual Machine on the Cloud. The Error is below:
Error (610)
Virtual Machine Manager was unable to find a value for the required Sysprep parameter ProductKey.
Recommended Action
Add the missing Sysprep parameter either to the answer file or to the operating system configuration, and then try the operation again.
My Template does not have the Product Key defined. The OS is Windows Server 2008 SP2 32-BIT. Is defining Product Key absolutely necessary? I have other Templates for other Operating Systems and they are working fine. Only facing problem
with this.
Any help would be appreciated.

In the SCVMM world a 'template' is composed of the following: a VHD with an OS that has been generalized (sysprep), virtual hardware profile (settings), and an OS profile.
The OS profile is required to have a product key. A MAC activation key at the minimum. But the key is required.
If you deploy a VM from a VHD, the same customization assumptions are not at play. Which is why it succeeds. (there is no template in this case, there is also no requirement that the OS in the VHD be sysprep'd).
SCVMM has rules. And lots of things don't make sense until you begin to understand them and play within them. (I am not saying that the SCVMM rules are a good thing, just saying they exist)
