How to put flash as a table or cell background or put HTML elements on top of flash file?

Hi Guys,
Could anyone please suggest me that how to put flash file as a table or cell background. I want to design a website and want to put HTML elements like table, images, text on top of flash file. so its look like animation in background. please visit following websites for an example: http://www.gagudju-dreaming.com/ and http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/
Please guide me ASAP, thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Nitz
The first thing you must do is convert your layout from table based to css based, (tables are o/k for tabular data, but not layout) but if you have never used css for layout it may be a steep learning curve.
My recommendation is to start with the following tutorial on converting a table based comp to a css layout -

Once you have converted your site the 'procedure' for using swf's as a background, (does not work well with flv's, but can be done using html5 video without a skin, to a limited extent) is the same as having a background-image resize automatically to the full browser view-port. The best way to learn how to do this is to view the code on a page using the background-image technique, view the code on this page - http://www.pziecina.com/indexold.php.
However, instead of having a fluid layout I would recommend using a fixed layout size to start with, as this overcomes many problems. I have uploaded a basic test page to illustrate the idea to - http://www.pziecina.com/test_ideas/swfbg_test.html. As I said the page must be resized in this example in order to see the effect, (so do not forget to resize the browser, even if it is only by 1px), but if you use a fixed size layout and your swf's size fits the desired area correctly the resize should not be required.

How do I position my layer/table for my header in the center and up top?

I have designed a site before on my dreamweaver 4 site and
decided to design a new one. I just tried to insert my header into
the website and it worked fine. However, how to I align it directly
in the center and all the way to the top so their is no space from
the top of my site and header? My header is about 960 pixels wide
and was hoping to have it centered when viewed with a few inches of
background on each side. My last sight it just worked out when I
did but not this time.
Just so you know, I set a header layer down first, then put
in a single row and column table, then inserted my Gif header.
Header looks great but placement is wrong. Thanks

How can I insert a new table whose cells are linked to Cell Styles?

How can I define a Table Style so that cells in new tables are automatically linked to my Cell Styles? (Not sure if "linked" is exactly the appropriate word....I'm going for "connected in such a way that when the Style is changed, the character/paragraph/cell/table/object updates to reflect the change.")
I thought the whole point of using Cell Styles in Table Styles would be so the cells can be automatically linked to the desired Cell Styles when the table is created -- but that isn't happening for me. I don't know if I'm just confused or if this is a bug:
When I insert a new table of a Table Style I have defined, it seems all cells in the new table are simply linked to Cell Style [None], with overrides for each cell that are consistent with the applicable Cell Style as it was defined when the table was inserted. So although the appearance of each cell is consistent with the Cell Style I defined for for that region of the table, the cells don't update if I later make changes to the Cell Styles I defined.
(If, after inserting a new table, I manually select each cell and apply the desired Cell Style, then the cells do (of course) update when I change the Cell Styles.)
Is it possible to have cells be actually linked to Cell Styles when a new table is inserted, instead of cells being simply linked to style [None] with overrides?
(I'm using the up-do-date 2014 release of InDesign CC, in case that's relevant.)

In the embed tag, add wmode="transparent"...this will make
the white match your background color. It will not resize the
stage.

What is the best way for me to play video files in a

of the JMF can play* the current AVI's. If it can, use
the standard JMF for the project, if not, look to
converting the AVI's to something the JMF can
deal with, this might involve storing the video or
audio of the AVI's in a different format - you
might have to experiment to get the right
combination, but the JMF 'supported formats'
is a good guide.

I had a developer who has been working on Daciro.com. He build it using all flash. I need to make changes on the website, but it seems like he is out of business. They don't answer their phones or emails.
The website is hosted on their server, and I don't have the FTP details.Can you guys recommend any tools that I can mirror or copy my site onto my local computer, and re upload the site to a real company. I have access to my domain, so I can just point it to a new server after I have downloaded the website files to my computer.

Follow the guidelines to get the temperary files stored in your computer while browsing:
i) Open the IE and view the site you want
ii) Goto > Tools > Internet Options (refer screenshot)
iii) copy the files from there, you will get only the swf and other files without any source fla.
iv) Use SWF Decompiler to extract the source from the swf but it will extract to the maximum possiblity.

Attributes can have default values, but elements can't.You can't specify type or style information for elements or attributes, that's one reason why XML Schema was developed as an alternative to DTDs.
