i have hp dv6 1350 us notebook ....the volume scroll is not visible on my monitor the volume working but not visible plz help

Download and reinstall HP MediaSmart SmartMenu on the following link - note that you must have at least one other MediaSmart application already installed.
HP MediaSmart SmartMenu.
After the reinstallation has completed, restart the notebook.

Mac Volume/Parition not visible in Windows XP

I'm getting a weird issue and apparently no one else have got this before (have been gone through all the forum).
The issue is that I don't see the Mac OS-X HFS+ volume/partition in Windows XP Professional (using the Bootcamp). I first installed the Bootcamp 3.0 drivers for Windows, and after not seeing the HFS+ partition, even upgraded to Bootcamp 3.1, but still can't see that drive. My understanding is that it should be visible in the Explorer with other drives, right?
BTW, I tried using the HSF Explorer utility and I can see the Mac Partition using that, but I don't like it much as have to extract the files to actually use them. But it confirms the partition is there and is accessible too.
I can even see the HFS driver files in my windows folder "WINDOWS\system32\drivers" (AppleHFS.sys, AppleMNT.sys, etc).
Any body can help me how to use these drivers to manually mount that drive or how to automate that?

Volume control not visible

How do you get the volume control to reappear after is no longer appears in the bottom of the screen,

If your running Windows 7, the steps are shown below:
Enable Windows 7’s Volume Icon
Right-click an empty space on the taskbar (the bar with the Start Orb and clock) and then click Properties.
Click the Customizebutton in the Notification area section of the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window.
Click Turn system icons on or offat the bottom left of the Notification Area Icons window.
Set the Volume icon’s behavior to On and then click OKto save the changes.

DATE - Content Canvas

I have set "Show Horizontal Scroll Bar" to "Yes" and "Show Vertical Scroll Bar" to "Yes" in the WINDOW Property.

You should show block property
and set block scroll bar

Scroll bar visible but not able to scroll in custom screen for IW21

Hi,
We are using custom tab (screen exit) in transaction for creating notifications (TCode IW21). Two subscreens are configured to be embedded in the tab, combined area of which is exceeding screen size vertically. The scroll bar is visible in the tab but is not able to scroll using mouse scroll, but can be dragged up and down.
Does anyone know how to make it scrollable or make the scroll bar visible at application level (not in tab) and make it working?

Auto-scrolling doesn't work when JFrame is not visible

Hi, I have auto-scrolling implemented for my JTextPane that sits in JScrollPane - which lives in JInternalFrame. It works as excepted - as long as my application's JFrame is visible. When the JFrame becomes invisible, auto-scrolling simply doesn't work anymore.
I've overcame this by scrolling down in "windowShown", but it's ugly because the user can visually see the scroll down when using this workaround (it jumps).
I guess this is Swing's optimization, but I would really like to overcome it in someway. But it seems I'm not enough a swing hacker to do it.
One thing to note is thtat, the auto-scrolling works fine when the JInternalFrame is NOT visible, but frame is.
I've tried to override the isShowing-method of JInternalFrame, with no luck.
Here's my scrolling method:

At some point I had really hard time getting the auto-scrolling to work, as I got these weird little bumps after scrolling down.
Adding scrollBar.setValue() seemed to 'just fix it'. It actually seems to be superfluous now.
The scrolling is already wrapped in SwingUtilities.invokeLater() - in conjuction with printing text into the JTextPane and it works OK.
I had some wrong info in the first post, the viewport actually does get scrolled down even when the JFrame is not visible. And by visible I mean JFrame.setVisible(false) - my application has a minimize-to-tray feature, which hides the JFrame.
So I think the problem is 'just' a repainting problem. When the frame is shown, the previous scroll location is first displayed, and then a repaint is triggered that causes the 'jump down'.
I'm not still sure how to fix it though.

Mac OS 9 AFP file sharing volume not visible under Mac OS 10.5

An old blue-white PowerMac G3 running Mac OS 9.2.2 with file sharing on is not visible on the network for a MacBook Pro running Mac OS X 10.5.5. – However, a PowerBook G4 with Mac OS X 10.4.11 perfectly shows the G3.
Connecting to the G3 works on the new MacBook Pro with OS X 10.5 if I use the server's IP-address (afp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) but does not work if I use the server's name (afp://<servername>).
All other shares on the network are visible for both the MacBook Pro running OS X 10.5 and the PowerBook G4 running OS X 10.4.
Why does the MacBook Pro with Mac OS X 10.5.5 not show the G3?
Why can't I connect to the G3 using its AFP name?

I think this is because there is no AppleTalk on Leopard.

Go to SystemPreferences > Network
Select your connection in the left column. Advanced > AppleTalk
Enable AppleTalk for your connection.

JScrollPane scroll setting first column is not visible?

Hi All,
i am using jtable and jscrollpane. in this my first column of 70 pixal width and rest 125 pixal width.set focus is on 1 cell(1 row, 1 column) in table. but due to this scrollbar is slightly on right side whice coz first column not visible.(need to drag for visibility). i am trying to make it visible without dragging.
how to do this? HELP.
i tried with tableScroll.scrollRectToVisible(table.getCellRect(0,0,true )); & -1,-1
but it didnt worked.

Bootcamp volume selectable in Startup Disk but won't boot. Bootcamp not visible with Option Key

My bootcamp volume is selectable in Startup Disk System Preference, but Windows 7 will not boot stating no bootable volume. The Bootcamp volume does not appear when option key held down during startup. Windows 7 booted fine before I booted into MacOS. When I tried to reboot in Windows 7, that's when I received the non-bootable error. All looks fine on the Windows 7 volume.
I'm working with a Macbook Pro Early 2008, 256 GB SSD, Windows 7 and the Boot Camp Support Software 4.0.4033.
I tried to re-install Windows 7 on its 32 GB partition, however Windows reported volume is not in proper format???
I tried repairing my Windows 7 volume with my install disk, but apparentl after having to update my initial Windows 7 instalation (disk bought in 2009) about 3 or 4 times, my Windows 7 install disk reports it cannot repair the now updated version of Windows 7 on my hard drive. Lovely. Brilliant engineering.
I looked into editing my partition table, but that process appears more a hack/bandaid for the underlying problem that more than likely still exists.
Any suggestions, other than painfully starting from the beginning???

Well, want to rule out drive case,, as those do come up with EVERY new OS, just hit Lion 10.7 forum when it came out, or when 10.6.0 came out 3 yrs ago.
Maybe the power adapter is the weak link.
As I said, and goes back yrs, not a fan of FW/USB/eSATA case from major vendors (LaCie, WD, Seagate etc).
And you could try another case. Be sure to buy a case that lets you swap in your own hard drives though.

Dv4-1540 volume scroll bar issue

Update! After reading through numerous search topics I discovered the reason my volume bar wasn't working correctly. I had disabled the mediasmart media center in msconfig thinking I didn't need it in start up. Once I enabled that the volume bar is once again working correctly.

Dv6 volume controller

Hi.
DV6 volume controller just above the keyboard has stoppped working all of a sudden. The only way to turn the volume up/down is to use the icon in the task-bar...Its a touch-style (not old fashioned wheel style) one . Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution?

Entire Table not visible/ transferred to a file on application server

HI Experts,
My req is to pass an entire internal table to a file on the application server.
How ever some of the fields in the table are not shown / transferred when i check that file.
The fields are not visible when i try to scroll side wise.
When I download the internal table to an excel all the fileds are present . There is no problem with the internal table that is being transferred.
Below is the code snippet.

Are there any limitations on the no char that can be displayed in one line on the application server.
Is there any seeting to change that...?

You are not getting the point. AL11 (prog. RSWATCH0) is a simple report used to display the file contents.
There is a limitation to the maximum length of the file line AL11 can DISPLAY (i.e., 512 characters after applying the notes).
Please understand what you are seeing in AL11 is the 1st 512 characters of the file width & not the entire file width.

Footer is not visible in Table control?

I am using Table control, Footer is not visible. It is shhowing in layout, but in browser it is not showing. In properties it is checked. And Right side scrolling is working fine, but footer is not visible. We have to set programitically?? Help Please

Althought this technically will bring back the paginator; I really strongly recommend against doing this. By turning off lightspeed you resort back to the old rendering engine. You give up all the performance improvements that lightspeed provides. You also give up access to new UI elements and features - like drag and drop, flashIslands, threshold slider, etc. It seems to me like way too high a price to pay just to go back the paginator.

ListBox Items sometimes not visible on app Resume

Hey,
I have a winRT windowsphone 8.1 app in development and I've come across a strange problem sometimes.
Basically, when my app loads, I pull items from an RSS using syndication feed, store to a data set which is binded to the listbox. This works perfectly.
I can even hold the back button, terminate the app, then reload it and the items repopulate instantly (guessing the app automatically saves state? I didn't program this in) but occasionally, the listbox is empty. Or so I think, turns out the items are still
loaded; I tap the blank screen and an article shows up, I can still even scroll up and down this blank space, tap other blank areas and different articles from that feed load. So clearly the listbox is still populated, Just not visible.
Does anyone know what causes this? Any advice on what I need to be doing here? Can provide code if required.

Alright so I worked out part of the problem. The reason it wasnt working on navigating back sometimes is that parts of the code for initialising the listBox resided in the constructor, and not "onnavigatedto". Moving the code into that method fixed
the issue when navigating back pages.
However, the problem still remains on physically closing the app (swiping it away in multitask view). When the app is loaded again, the listbox is blank, but operable (the feed is clearly loaded as selecting the blank screen opens articles). It seems that
this doesnt occur if I change the "bypasscahceonretreive" property on the syndicatedfeed to "true", but if i set this that means the page will always bypasscache when navigated back to it, i dont want this (waste of quota) so i still need
to fix that one.
Im thinking i may need to implement proper resuming when the app is "closedbyuser"? So add an "onloaded" handler, and it the app was closed by user then just bypass the cache and itll probably work (again, not ideal, as id be happy for
it to use the cache).
Does this sound like the correct behaviour?
EDIT:
I had to do this. It worked, but wasnt ideal. So i bypassed cache on app first load and now it always shows up. weird.
