HT5824 Why have I lost the Outlook contacts and can only access those in icloud on both my laptop and desktop computers
I am trying to send information to one of the contacts that is normally in my outlook address book. That book appears to have gone away. The only contacts I have are those in icloud. I would think they would sync. Apparently i need to do that manually? Many of the contacts that have formerly lived in outlook do not show up in icloud. ?????
If it works on one Firefox 3.6.10 installation, it should work on the other - assuming both PC's have exactly the same version of Norton installed, including that Firefox Toolbar extension. Another possibility is that Norton uses a different version of their software on WinXP than they use on Vista.
Tools > Addons > Extensions - does the Norton Toolbar show as being incompatible?
You could try forcing a Norton program update to see if their Firefox extension gets updated.

I'd try resetting the pse 11 preferences.
In the pse 11 editor Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor (Edit)>Preferences>General, click on Reset Preferences on Next launch
and then restart the pse 11 editor. -

Since Hotmail was converted to Outlook I can only access through the Mobile option. I keep getting a message suggesting I upgrade to the latest version of Safari. I tried downloading the most recent upgrade that I could find but the problem is still not solved. How do I fix this very annoying situation?

I suspect you have turned on the Full Screen mode. Move your mouse to the top of the screen, click the View menu and choose Exit Full Screen.

the whole point uk changed it was to block non uk devellers from viewing it
if you don't pay license in uk you are not allowed to view their tv it's as simple as that
if bbc and itv was supported by appletv they would block you because your ip is outside of uk
suppose if you use a proxy making it look like you are from uk from an ios device or a mac which supported airplay mirror or a windows machine with airparrot then you could view iPlayer on your tv using appletv -

thanksTimestamps are always GMT based (or could be thought of as timezone neutral) so what you should get back is a timestamp representing a GMT equivalent of the time you see that has a 6 hour offset from GMT. In other words, if the time were 1 PM Central Standard you would get a GMT time of 7 PM.
You should then be able to display that time in any time zone you wish using SimpleDateFormat and specifying the time zone you want to display it in. So if you then display it with Central Standard, the 7 PM GMT would then display as 1 PM again. In other words, 7 PM GMT and 1 PM Central Standard are the same timestamp
If you just display the timestamp using a toString(), you will get the time in the default time zone of the JVM..
Whether the driver actually does this correctly with the Oracle database I can't say. I've made several posts in a variety of places complaining that the driver does not work correctly with timestamps but my experience is limited to regular timestamp fields, not the new Oracle type of timestamp with timezone.
Based on my experience, what you are more likely getting back in the 1 PM- 7 PM example is 7 PM in the default timezone of the JVM.
You should look at the getTimestamp with Calendar options to see if they work better for you.
The main thing to keep in mind is that timestamps are really timezone neutral. -

Hi curleyshirley1, I think you mean it said Firefox in the top left. Now there is no space in the top left and the tabs just start there. If I understand you then this means that your browser automatically updated to Firefox 29. It is the fastest Firefox version of Firefox ever. It is supposed to be better in every way. With that being said the look has also changed. The replacement to the Firefox button is, the icon in the icon with three horizontal lines near the top right.

Why have I lost the ability to play video in iTunes?
I recently upgraded to itunes 11.0 but now I seem to have lost the ability top play video podcasts, movies or even see trailers in the itunes store movie section. I did install an application called eyetvreporter to try to recover the activation code for eyetv shortly after installing itunes 11. I am not sure this had any effect because Ii can still see the eyetv on the computer. I have reinstalled os X from the recovery partition and reinstalled itunes 11.0. I have no idea how to reset iTunes to allow me to watch videos.
Strange! I changed the screen resolution, deleted the eyetvreporter, rebooted and the video came back. The problem is solved but not understood.

JamesCampbell is not a standard Mac font. Fonts are held in your Systems libraries they are not part of your document.
