I am facing troubles as Firebug is not compatible with this version, I dont want to use any older version. please let me know how to fix this or if you have any other workaround.

Firebug has development versions that should work in Firefox 4 beta builds. Try the latest version (1.6X.ob1) available from http://getfirebug.com/releases/firebug/1.6X/
This is a beta version of Firebug.
For other add-ons marked as incompatible, you can install the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/15003 Add-on Compatibility Reporter], this will enable all of your add-ons and you can test to see if they work. If the add-ons do not work you can disable them. Note that the current release version of Firebug will not work, you will need to use the beta version.

Given that you are very low in memory on your iPhone, it would be much easier to connect your phone to your computer and download iOS 8.1 via iTunes. Memory won't be an issue this way.

I downloaded a cheap PDF editor and it converted all my PDFs to their software. Then when I deleted it, I cannot open them in the Adobe format any longer. Please let me know how to get them back!
It's important to understand that when this sort of thing happens files aren't "converted" at all.
In Windows and Mac, there is just one app (program) that it run when you double click a type of file. There's an app for Word documents (Microsoft Word). There's an app for PDF files. So all that happened is that you installed an app which can open PDF files.
Nothing changed in the files. You can still open them the traditional way if you forget double click - start the app, use Open from the File menu. -

Further to my earlier post, I have just read an entry noting that if you already own a domain name, and ask your hosting service to forward and mask your iWeb '08 created, web.mac.com site to your personal domain, chances are that due to the masking of the site on web.mac.com, Safari browsers interpret the masking as being the end of the site, and as such, just return a blank page?
This may explain the problem. However, call me old fashioned, and possibly a little naive, but surely this cannot be the problem?? It's OK in Firefox! -
after doing a factory reset my iphone 3g recongnises o2 as its primary carrier but i cant get any signal at all so please anybody do know how to fix this?
hi peter, that was the plan to get o2 to unlock the which they do 4 £15 but as i cant get any network signal signal of them (but i am getting a 3g signal as i can access the internet???) o2 are saying there is nowt they can do. i still get no signal after doing a factory reset which in a perfect world should reset my network back to o2 but no signal only getting 3g.im at lost now on how to restore the network im sure its something to do with the carrier signal ?

The latest Firefox update, installed this morning 6/21/2011, disabled McAfee. After installation, a window appeared stating that McAfee was not compatible and couldn't be enabled. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE! Please let me know how to uninstall this update.

If AMDS is running, you are using a USB port directly on the computer and not a hub, you have disconnected other USB devices except keyboard and mouse, you have completely uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes as described in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925, You have tried cleaning the connector on the bottom of the phone, you have tried a different cable, you have installed the latest USB drivers for your computer, you have disabled your antivirus and firewall, you are running as an Administrator account and you have tried creating a new user on your computer and connected when logged in as that user then you have exhausted my knowledge. The only other thing to try is a different computer. If it isn't recognized on a different computer you have a hardware problem. Good luck!

I have tried 3 vpns so far, hotspot shield, spot flux and onavo extend.
All 3 can be downloaded and installed as I can surf the Internet fine.
The problem occurs when trying to install the profile to run the VPN. The certificate shows as authenticated so I add profile, and in the VPN settings tab I can see the current VPN profile, but swiping the VPN swiper to on results in a spinning wheel for a period and then it gives up and VPN returns to off.
For the record, hotspot shield works fine on my mac computer. -
When updating to itune 10.5 I get this error message ,older version of bonjour can not be removed, and older version of apple mobile support cannot be removed, any one know how to fix this.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.) -

UffeIt is Command+r or for the online internet system it is Command+option/Alt+r keys. Then you use Disk Utility to erase the macintosh partition, from the built in recovery hd, or you can repartition the drive as one partition from the online system.
To actually get to the online internet system you have to hold that key combo down until you see a globe on the screen. Otherwise it will just boot from the built in recovery hd on the internal drive. -
I just got a new white iphone 4. When I try to take a video using the camera app, there is only a muffled sound. I never had this problem with my old iphone. There is a good possibility that your trimming of the SIM card could have damaged it some way. If the SIM was working in the old phone, then you cut it and the first new phone didn't work and now this phone doesn't work, it leads me to believe it has to do with the SIM card or the account. You are sure there is no problem with the account. Did you check with the provider when you got the iPhone 4 to make sure there was no problem with the account when you could not send or receive SMS? Why can't you just get a micro-sim? The iPhone should have come with one when you purchased it.The iPhone 4 is designed for a micro-sim. I don't believe this is a hardware problem unless the phone has been hacked or modified in some manner.
