First , I have been with Mac for many years ( 14 to be exact ) I do have some knowledge and understanding of Apple product .

Software ask for permission to install , and about 30 % in , my instinct was telling me , there is something not right . I stop installation . Delete everything , look for any
trace in Spotlight , Library . Nothing could be find .
Now , every time I open Safari , Firefox or Chrome , it will open in my home page , but when I start looking for something in steed of Google page , there is
''search.genieo.com'' page acting like a Google . I try again to get raid of this but I can not find solution .
With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer
Any help is welcome , English is my learned language , you may notice this , so I'm not that quick with the respondGenieo definitely doesn't help with your router. It's just adware, and has no benefit to you at all. They scammed you so that they could display their ads on your computer.

I am unable to connect to the iTunes Store. This issue began yesterday, 3/11/13. I previously have been able to connect to the store successfully on this computer which runs Windows 7 and Security Center since November. I also used the iTunes Store on my previous computer for several years. I am able to connect to the store with my new iPod Touch 5th generation. I did a Google search for Error Code -1202 but did not find any pertinent results. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in troubleshooting this situation. Thank you!

I just bought a new MacBookPro to replace my 3 year old MBP. I was not receiving the banner when I was on my old Mac running Firefox 3.6.16.
The yellow banner seems to appear randomly. I got it when I went to https://artistsnetwork.tv/e-myvideos.aspx and https://bit.ly.com but not when I went to Hootsuite, Twitter or textbroker.com.

I have been successfully sending out e-mails each month to about 50 people whose addresses are listed under a Group Name. Yesterday about half of the e-mails were received, the other half weren't. So I tried splitting the group into 2 separate Groups, again the list who didn't receive the first mailing again did not receive the second mailing. There does not seem to be anything that connects the recipients or non-recipients. They have a mix of providers, it was not just the first half of list that was affected, it appears to be totally random. Any suggestions?

Are those from NDRs someone in your organization received, or are they from NDRs received by a sender outside your organization?
Is 68.232.130.28 your IP address? The IP address resolves to the name esa2.firstam.iphmx.com. Is that a MX for the recipient's domain?

I have this problem on my macbook pro. I live in Sault Ste marie, ON. I took it to Genius Bar at the Apple Retail Store at Eton Center Toronto. They said it cannot be fixed for free, It would cost me more than a grand. I scared & run aways. Haha.I think I should call & set up an appointment at apple third party service provider in my city. wish me luck

And a number of folks have found sympathetic managers and had the 2008 logic boards replaced, even after four years.

Use Software Update or the OS 10.6.8 combo update to update your OS. Also, update everything SU has to offer for your computer. When done, repair permissions and restart your computer. -
the itunes library .itl fileis locked on a locked disk, or you dont have the write permission for this file. this is what it says every time i try and open itunes why ?
Sounds like a permission issue.
Navigate to the iTunes Music Library.itl file
The path should be Username/Music/iTunes/
Right click on the iTunes Library.itl and select Get Info
The window will open on the left hand side. Go to the Sharing and Permissions section at the bottom
Click the padlock to allow changes and enter your Mac logon password
Select yourself and make sure you have Read & Write selected. Click padlock to lock it again
Close the Get Info window and try and start iTunes -
We both use the same iPad my father and I as of today, as is letting me use it too from now on (sweet! ), I do not want to make a mistake and accidently use my father's ID & passwords (dohh ), but each time the ID & Password pops up it ask for his (???), how can I access mine, so it's my account and financials being used. In order to reliably save the info and be able to restore at a later date, you would need to use his AppleID.
Switch to it on iTunes, back the iPad up and confirm the backup exists (Preferences / Devices), then switch to yours, wipe the iPad and start afresh. Will also wipe his apps, as they are tied to the AppleID as well. -
Is there a way to transfer the iTunes application to my PC using my iPhone? My PC has no means of connecting to the Internet and I do not wish to pay for Internet tethering for a one time use. hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo
