Is there some new configuration for Design Editor in RH11 that I am missing?
I just upgraded from RH7 to RH11.
All topics in Design Editor appear as though the style sheet is not applied.
The Normal style appears as Times New Roman - 12pt font, but it is defined in the style sheet as Arial 10pt.
Hyperlinks appear in the correct font type, but 12pt instead of 10pt.
Headings seem to be the only styles that appear correctly.
When I preview the topic, or view it in a browser, everything looks correct, as it is defined in the style sheet.
Is there some new setting for Design Editor, like "Ignore part of the style sheet"?

I just noticed that the 'Normal' style as seen in the RH GUI shows "Times New Roman" and 12 pt. even though the P style in the style sheet shows:

I simply edited the Normal style in the GUI to the Arial font and size.
All of the P styles, and all styles based on the P style, changed to the correct font and size.
The P style in the .css file did not change!

It seems like I cannot get GPS only to work on my ipad3 (4g version, but not on an active cell plan, and wifi off). Is there some new requirement in 7.1 or 7.1.1 to have cell and/or wifi enabled for GPS to work? I am testing with MotionX, garmin blueChart mobile, and a GPS monitoring tool. All show no signal. If I turn on cell and wifi, it says I get gps signal, but can't tell if that is from the GPS chip, or just from cell and wifi only (maybe with some gps mixed in)? Any ideas on how to get iPad working with GPS only??

Yes. tried the one ram stick, no go. I have been trying to boot off/install the windows 7 disk but am unable to get to the point where windows starts installing after its gathering information portion of the install. I can get to the disk selection screen of the install with the WD HD on SATA port 2 but then get the "cant install messages" when I try to select the Vertex 3. Yes I can see the Vertex 3 Drive as well as the WD drive at this point. some times I have to hit "scan" a couple of times. -
Those steps don't work. I'm using the lastest version of itunes (11.0.1.12) on Windows. This article was last updated in 2009 and lists itunes 7.7. Anyone have any ideas, or is there a new article that accounts for the changes to itunes?

After upgrading to Aperture 3 I had to 'upgrade' all files. When this was done, there was an Aperture 3 library and the original Aperture 2 library. Are the two libraries identical and can I safely trash the Aperture 2 library?
If the upgrade completed successfully and you are running Aperture 3 on the converted library and you're sure all the images that were in the old library are in the new library then you could delete the Aperture 2 library.
However I'm the paranoid type and when it comes to deleting images I'm always hesitant. If you can fine a place to archive the old library that would be your a better option.
At a minimum I would keep the old library around for a month or so after switching to Aperture 3 just to make sure in case something pops up.

Yes, do not set it to automatic sync, and if these albums are purchases in iTunes, then you need to transfer them to your iTunes library. If you attempt to sync the device the music sync is one way, only from the library to the device. If this is music you did not purchase, but is on the iPod, you will need to get some 3rd party software to extract it from the iPod to put in the library. Touchcopy from Wide Angle Software is one choice. I have used it before and it does a lot more than music, and it works on both the Windows and Mac platforms.

When using the "Fill & Sign PDF" feature, is there a way to stretch to size the text box on a specific area of the page...instead of the text box going on in one straight long line....? I'm not seeing there's an option or ability to do so, just wanting to confirm.
Improving the handling of multiple line text fields is in our plans, but for now, you will have to add manual carriage returns (Enter).

Whenever I open new tabs Firefox crashes and the browser window closes automatically.what will I do?
I am facing this problem since a month.I never faced this problem before.I always feel good to use Mozilla Firefox as my browser.I used to open multiple tabs in a same browser window.For example- in a tab I logged in to Facebook,at same time I might be downloading songs or something else or open another site in the other tab.It might be 2 or 3 tabs sometimes.But now a days,I am facing the problem whenever I open multiple tabs.Its unusual and so much annoying.The Firefox crashes and the browser window closes showing a messege to send an error report.Please Help me.
N.B. - I am using the Windows service pack 2.
RAM - 2 GB
Hard disk MEmory - 250 GB.I had this same problem. Seems to be caused by the web developer tool bar FF extension (this started happening after a recent update to that extension). After disabling it, my FF is back to normal :)

My model no is HP Pavilion Slimline s3760in Desktop PCs. My PC came with the pre-installed windows vista home premium 32-bit. i had problem with the dvd writer and it has been replaced recently and dvd is working fine.
When the writer was in defect at that time i have inserted the recovery disc into the dvd drive and wanted to recover my system to the factory settings. there was problem in writing/burning but atleast the dvd rom was able to read it therefore i thought the recover will work but unfortuantely it dint create any recovery to my system into factory settings and when i ejected the dvd i found that scatched has been created on it. the recovery set of dvd has gone and it is unable to use it at all.
It has formatted the partition and it was unable to progress further.
At present i am unable to recover my system from RECOVERY DVD neither from Hard disk. Unable to use F11 recovery. Both are corrupted.
My friend has purchased same desktop model i.e. s3760in , but he has received pre-installed windows 7.
Therefore i want to know that if i bring his recovery disc and install it from the dvd.
q1] then will i get windows 7 and recovery manager for windows 7 or not?
q2] will it will work or not ?

byeHello Varadar, As far as I know, there is no such thing as a HP Master disk for a HP Recovery Restore. If the customer creates a set of HP Recovery Restore Disk and they are faulty and the D: Recovery partition is corrupted as well, then the customer can order a set of HP Recovery Restore disk from HP if they are still available for his system.
HP makes these disk available for just a few years. If these are no longer available the customer would have to purchase a Retail version of the operating system and any other software they may want.
The HP Recovery Restore disk are made from the software that has been installed on the system when the system was built, so almost every system will have different software.
The data code the is copied to the HP Recovery Restore Disk set is located in the BIOS of each system and relates to the serial number of the system. That is the key, the serial number of the computer.
When the HP Recovery Restore disk are used to restore a system, the Recovery Restore disk will read the BIOS for the correct serial number, before it will continue.
If you were to order the HP Recovery Disk set for a particular system, you would be required to provide the exact Model and Serial number for the system, and then HP could look into their database and determine what software was installed on that machine and then create a set of HP Recovery Restore disk for that serial numbered machine.
If your hard drive were to become faulty and under warranty, HP would look up the serial number of your system and determine the software that was shipped with this system and then install the software on a hard drive, and if the customer had the capacity to replace the hard drive, HP would ship a new hard drive with the D: Recovery partition already created, and the customer would install the new hard drive.
If the customer did not have the ability or knowledge to change a hard drive, the system would have to be sent back to HP for the hard drive replacement.
This is done to prevent pirating of the software and certain legal obligations to the providers of the software, such as Microsoft.
There is simply no way around this. Many have tried and all have failed. This is by design.

Well, I know that someone have discussed it already but I don't find any simple answer (for a newbie).
Well is ti possible to find preset to make the UC-33e work as a control surface with Logic Express.
I know there is a song in the CD of the UC-33e that enables you to use the Mix Window but :
1) I don't find it very classy
2) Sometimes I need to use old projects...

It's not a beta at all; it's a Developer Preview, so it's still very much a work in progress, It won't even be released for a year. So, that means it's not stable; you should expect it to crash, but don't complain if it does, because that's the very nature of a preview release.

Hi, I am fiddling around with my Airport stations and want to monitor them using Nagios. It basically works, I have even found out how to get the values for Signal Strength and Noise (that took me two days, phew) but when I do an snmpwalk using the AIRPORT-BASESTATION-3-MIB which is available (and from 2003), I only see a part of the available values. Values related to the physical interfaces seem not to be available. And as I suppose that the hardware of the APEX has changed since 2003, there should be an updated MIB as well
So, does anyone know where to get this MIB ?

If you want to copy the data exactly as it is from one file to another, then don't use a Reader to do that. Readers assume that the data is text and bend it to fit that interpretation. But if the file is actually not text (a JPEG image for example) then that bending actually modifies the data. So just copy the bytes from one place to another.
I don't really think that everybody should have to reinvent copying data from one place to another, so here's one version of the code:
