my son has put a 4 digit password onmy home screen and i have no idea how to turn it of but now my phone say disabled please hepl
only cure is to connect it to the computer running itunes and restore it from a backup

Something went wrong with the update, this can and does happen with every version of iOS.
There is nothing wrong with the update.
Simply restore the device via iTunes on the computer.
If iTunes is stating it will take hours to update, that indicates an extremely slow Internet connection and is likely the reason the OTA update failed. -

I just used "Erase" via "Find my phone" to erase and reset my MBP. It's caused my MBP to be locked. I entered correct 4 digit PIN and it seemed to accept it, but it won't allow use of the internal drive. Yosemite loaded. Anyone else had same problem?

Erasing your Mac shouldn't harm your internal hard drive but erasing does clear Yosemite and everything else off of it. Are you not able to restore it with your Time Machine backup?

Problem with retrieving single digit date and month
Hello Sir,
I have the following code. Cuurently when I insert date in this format 1984/11/14 and also in this format 1984/11/4 and retrieve the following two dates, I could successfully populate the dates into the corresponding fields in the form. But earlier in the database, there are some records created in the following formats:
1984/3/1 and 1987/10/4(i.e.,yyyy/mm/dd).In the form when I try to populate them into their corresponding fields I am able to populate only 1984 into the year filed in the first case and in the second case I could populate 1987 and 10 into the year and month fields. I could not populate the values of the records with single digit either in month or day fields.
By observing the code, could you let me know what needs to be done in order to populate the previously created records with the single digit month and date.

I have the following code. Cuurently when I insert date in this format 1984/11/14 and also in this format 1984/11/4 and retrieve the following two dates, I could successfully populate the dates into the corresponding fields in the form. But earlier in the database, there are some records created in the following formats:
1984/3/1 and 1987/10/4(i.e.,yyyy/mm/dd).In the form when I try to populate them into their corresponding fields I am able to populate only 1984 into the year filed in the first case and in the second case I could populate 1987 and 10 into the year and month fields. I could not populate the values of the records with single digit either in month or day fields.
By observing the code, could you let me know what needs to be done in order to populate the previously created records with the single digit month and date.

i have my iphone set up with itunes on one computer, but i recently bought my own computer. How do I set up my iphone with the new itunes account? It says my phone can only be set up woth one itunes account. How do I remove the previous account?

Do you mean iTunes library?
iTunes account is what you use to make iTunes purcahses.
iTunes library is what is on your computer.

No, it tells you it can only be sync'd with one iTunes library.
Simplest way is to copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder (thisis the iTunes library) from old computer to new computer. -

I updated my iPhone with the new update..and then it turned off...instead of turning back on it tells me to plug it into iTunes..and when I do iTunes tells me that my phone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored..is there anything I can do without restoring it?
Same thing happened here ~ tech guy at a local authorized Apple repair store said it had something to do with improper backup from which the restore would be made. Still have a phone that asks to be connected to Itunes but won't do anything else . . . frustrated.

I have an iPhone with iOS 7.1.1 and am trying to update to 7.1.2, but get an error message "iTunes could not back up the iPhone because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone"
Assuming you are using the current version of iTunes (11,2,2), open iTunes, click "Preferences" under the leftmost entry on iTunes' menu, then choose "Devices".
Find the iPhone's backup there, highlight it, and choose "Delete Backup". -
just updated my iphone with iOS 7.0.2 and when I call or people call me, only one party can hear the other. Would you know how to fix this problem? Thanks

The friend who sold it to you needed to clear his Apple ID off the phone before he sold it to you. Of course if it wasn't his phone in the first place then he could not do so. He is your friend but you don't know where he is?
There is nothing that will help you short of getting the password for the Apple ID from your friend. If you cannot obtain that there is no workaround. -
I've lost my iPhone is any way of tracking it I have rang and put a bar on it and also tried to track it with the my friends app and its a no show :(

3gs not working with different sim
Hi Just upgraded my 3gs which was purchased unlocked from the apple store. It was working fine and still does with an o2 sim but will not work with a virgin sim. It says "No Service" have also tried disabling 3g, but still nothing. any ideas?
