JTextArea_FontProblem

Question

Hi all,
I have one Screen full JTextArea...on the window following two check
boxes, one combobox.In the combo box when i select the item and
check the check box immediately the text in the JtextArea should be
changed into the size whatever I selected from the combobox.
Here what my problem is the Font whatever iam selecting
like 6,8,12,20,24,70,80,90,110 that font is not reflecting in the
TextArea as it is ? what might be the problem ?
The following is the code snippet i used
if (NegritaTofChb.isSelected()) {
                         textoTeFTxa.setFont(new Font(names[imprimirBean
                                   .getTipoFuenteDrl()], Font.BOLD, imprimirBean
                                   .getTamanoDrl()));
                         imprimirBean.setNegritaTof(true);
                    } else {
                         textoTeFTxa.setFont(new Font(names[imprimirBean
                                   .getTipoFuenteDrl()], Font.PLAIN, imprimirBean
                                   .getTamanoDrl()));
                         imprimirBean.setNegritaTof(false);
               }can any body help in this scenerio.....thanks

Thanks....it is working fine................
One more problem regarding this is when the Application running
my window will prepare a .txt file in the specified folder ....when explicitly open the file that was not being in the normal format ....
i think it's in ANSI format ? How to get that Format in normal format
when i open it directly......
