Select & hover on a CLOB-tablefield shows all the contents of that field.

I opened a table and selected a CLOB-field with a large text in it.
My screen was filled with a preview of the contents and the RAM was filled to the max by the sqldeveloper process to the point of unusability of my pc (Win7_x64 with 4GB RAM).
In a tweet-exchange with Jeff Smith he determined that the problem is a preview not limited to a substring but instead showing everything.
At his request I am posting this in the forum (hopefully in the correct way ;-) ) as a note.
In Windows the java-version is:

I've tried the same 'hover-over-CLOB' in a CentOS 6(-x86_64)-environment with the latest SQL Developer connected to the same environment.
When I leave the field the hover-field the behaviour is as expected: the hover-field disappears and there are no residual problems.
$ java -version
java version "1.6.0_24"

How can I save the RSS feed from awebsite on the toolbar so it will show all the content in a folding menu?

In the previous versions of FireFox I Could push the RSS sign in the addressbar and choose to have the feed on my bookmark toolbar. In that way i could push the feed name on the bar and see names of feeds i have read and them I havent read and decide whiche one to go to. today when i save a bookmark to the toolbar and then push it there, instead of showing me the different content in a folding menu like before, the whole page jumps to the website. How can I save the feed from the website like before?

Problem in dispay of all the content(code) in view controller in NWDS

Hi,
when I am opening a view by double clicking it and clicking on implementation tab,all the contents in that view controller is coming properly.
But when I am clicking on a particular method in the outline view,then only the implementation of that method is coming and all the other contents are missing.
Can anyone say,what can be the problem and the solution to it.

I am able to open the view by double clicking on the view.
and also I am able to see all the code implementation(for example.wdDoIniti,wdDoModifyView,wdDoExit..all other methods).
In the outline view ,on click of one method(let say wdDoInit),the cursor should come to that particular method(means here wdDoInit) and also we should see all other method implementations by scrolling on the editor.
The problem is
in my case this is not happening. while I am selecting a method(if it is wdDoInit) in the outline view then i can see only the implementation of that method(means here wdDoInit) and all other implementation is missing.
But it was working fine before.Today I am facing this problem.
May be unknowingly, I have changed some setting but unable to catch where?

Let's say I have one table: TableA. Fields of TableA are aleg, anon, apes. The following sentence can return, in general, several rows: select anon from TableA where aleg = somevalue. I'd like to show the result of column anon but no luck. If I try to show the results in a TextArea and the origin is an sql query only shows the first row value. I tried Show as: show as text (based in PLSQL) and coding an anonymous plsql block as

Just starting with apex. I think I know how to show the results in a report region. I've simplified the posted question.
A more detailed question would be: Suppose you have a region where you have put several text areas to accommodate the result of a multi-column query (lets say for TableA) that only returns one row, each column value returned put in a different text area. Also you want to show the values of other fields in TableB that depends on some value just retrieved from TableA and that you want all values retrieved (from TableA and the linked TableB) to be show in the same region. Is that possible? If yes, how?

One way to identify the broken links in your library is to create this set of playlists:
Lost & Found playlists
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist. Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist.
Or use iTunes Folder Watch and enable its option to check for dead tracks on startup.

In solution manager system not showing all the system in SLD

Dear Gurus,
During the installation of solution manger sysyem i selected as a Central SLD as solution manager
Later installed ECC 6.0 and EP systems selected SLD as solution manager system during the instllation.
If i login in to http://hostname:50000/sld (solution manger system) and the screen also not showing all the options also. some options missing in the tab. Wat I need to do to see all the options clearly.
It is not showing all the systems if i check in EP and ECC for SLDCHECK it is not givng any errror.
But if i login into solution manger not able to see all the system in SLD.

Service monitoring is not showing all the services when i create a service monitor under Management pack templates.

I am using SCOM 2007 R2 CU4 in my environment. I want to do a service monitoring on specific agents. When i try creating this service monitor which comes under the Management pack template when i select the service which i want to monitor it does not
show all the services in the drop down.
For example - I have Windows audio service which is present on the machine, But it is not showing in the service list.
So from the services stating from "W" i see only 5 in SCOM and in services.msc in the Agent i see more than 5.
Below is the screen shot.

management pack those services will not appear here in the Wizard while creating this type of a Management pack object alert right ?

Performance monitor reports and graphs don't show all the counters that were captured

I've run into an odd behavior of performance monitor that I haven't been able to clear up yet: after I run a data collector set, the resulting report only shows a partial list of the counters that I captured, and so does the graph of that report (but different
items).
For instance, I chose the following counters for the data collector set:
\PhysicalDisk(*)\% Idle Time
\PhysicalDisk(*)\Avg. Disk Queue Length
\PhysicalDisk(*)\Avg. Disk sec/Read
\PhysicalDisk(*)\Avg. Disk sec/Write
When the data collection ends, the report that gets displayed shows all those counters for _Total instance and C:, but then E: only shows % Idle Time and Avg. Disk Queue Length. That's it, the report ends there, even though I also have F: and V: drives on
this server.
If I choose to view the graph of this data collection, it only shows those four counters for the _Total instance.
It took me a while to realize that all the data is being captured, but it's just the display that is truncated. If I view the folder then open the report.html, it actually shows all the data. Same with the graphs. If I select to add counters and add
all the missing counters, they are displayed.
I have searched high and low but haven't been able to find more than one post at ServerFault where someone had a similar issue, but no real solution or cause was provided, so I was hoping that someone here might have an idea.
I also found a variety of articles about missing counters due to registry settings or because the counters needed to be reset, but that's a different issue that doesn't apply in my case. By the way, this is on a windows server 2012 R2 VM (file server).

How to show all the user entry variables in a workbook.

My user need to see in the workbook all variables he had entered in the variable entry popup at the openning of the workbook.
I know how to show all the variables, included the hardcoded variable in the query (with a text element, select the checkbox "Display All Statics Filters"), but I need only the user entry variables.
There is a way to print only these variables?

Photoshop CS6 Brush Manager does not show all the default brushes

The brush panel shows all the default brushes, but the Brush Presets panel and the Brush Preset Manger do not, intact the last brush that they show is "100 Rough Round Bristle". it only shows the first 67 at max... if you delete anything before the 100 Rough Round, that becomes the new default number. It's like the rest of the brushes don't exist. Although I can select them in the Brush Panel.
If I want to load any other brush set, it over writes any brushes that appear after "100 Rough Round Bristle".
Need some serious help as my workflow is being severely hampered.

Hi all,
I'm using a pie chart crystal report and the legend ideally should show data of all the customers coming from database.
But in my case the legend shows only certain values and not all..and also it shows total as 100% which is not the case if we add all the values of customers.
Is there a way we can show all the data in the legend column of the report ??
Also my report spans more than 3-4 blank pages sometimes even though the actual report is only of a single page.This gives me extra pages while printing it.
Any suggestions ?

You could hack the popchart JS files I guess, John Minkjan's blog describes some changes , in particular on mouse-hover activity but they should show where to start.
