Smartform Problem in Displaying a string data

Hi Friends,
I am facing a problem while displaying a string data in smartform. Actually it is a one of the field's data in an internal table. It is a STRING field type of length 0. While populating in an internal table it is having a all the data(Around 700 char data). But while displaying in a smartform surprizingly only few characters(Around 225 char data). How can i overcome this problem?

Declare some Variables of 72 char each and split that long string data of internal table text field into them and display these variables strings one below other in smartform
var1 = itab-text+0(72)
var2 = itab-text+72(72)
var3 = itab-text+144(72)
like that
and display one below other in smartform.

Smartform - problem in displaying text in a page

Hi experts,
     I am developing an invoice printing in smartforms.Here i am facing one problem.
i am displaying line items in a table in the footer window.In that table footer i am displaying some text (text contains 8 lines).
      Here if the number of line items are below 3 the text in the footer of the table printing correctly in the 2nd page.
     But if the number of line items are above 3 the text in the footer of the table in footer window is not printing correctly (4 lines in the text is printing in 2nd page remaining 4 lines are not moving to 3rd page).

Generally we use MAIN WINDOW for printing the line itesm data which is not constant.
Depending on lines it moves to next page.
You are saying that you are using footer window. It seems that you have taken the height of that window as 3 Lines
where you wants to print the lines if it is more than 3 ? naturally it goes to next page.
So you increase the footer window height to a max of the line items, or reduce font.but even if it is not a constant data naturally it goes to next page.
You have to use the footer window for printing some constant data in the footer like Signature, and address etc.

Problem in displaying dynamic japanese data in JSP

Hi all,
I am trying to display japanese data (address) fetched from RDBMS database but only ???????? getting displayed. First the data is fetched from database then populated in xml. From xml databean is created .
Steps taken
I have put chartset =shift-jis in jsp response header .
I made sure the encoding for XML file is UTF-8 for parsing. I am using documentbuilder object for parsing for xml.
I am not sure what needs to be done to display japnese text properly.
I appreciate if i get solution as i am struck with this for long time

Your JSP pages need to contain a JSP directive that specifices the encoding for the pages (one that supports Japanese).
I use:
<%@ page contentType="text/html;charset=UTF-8" %>
You could also use:
<%@ page contentType="text/html;charset=SHIFT-JIS" %>
When you view with your browser also remember to set the page encdoing and ensure your OS has the proper fonts installed.

I tired this but it did not work.
I was curious knowing how japanese static text is put into jsp code. I want to know whether i followed right way because if the change te encoding to utf-8 ,my jsp displays question marks even for static content.

Hi SEM gurus,
I have a problem in displaying 0FISCPER in data columns. Say, in my planning level I have restricted 0FISCPER to 0001.2005 to 012.2005. and I did selected in data column, Dynamic for 0fiscper.
Now when I run my lay out for keyfig. 0Amount the lay out is like this
Customer Amount Amount Amount
Xxxxxx       10 20     30
Its not displaying the monthwhat I want in the lay out should be like this
         001.2004 002.2004 003.2004

Can any one Please help me out to fix this ???

change HEADING column in the 2nd screen of the layout design to "0FISCPER Amount".
I think, current HEADING is named as only "Amount".
This will give layout as
Customer 001.2004Amount 002.2004Amount 003.2004Amount

How to display unicode string in alv

Hi,guys, I came accross one problem on displaying unicode string in alv rows.
some string like this: \u591c\u9e23\u732a , They are displayed directly in alv. Actually, they are some chinese characters.
Any one could help me? Should I invoke any function module to convert it ?

Problem with displaying chart data

Hello everybody,
I have problem with displaying chart data correctly. I'm using a cartesian chart with DateTimeAxis. The stockdata I'm using is for half a year and
with ticks for every day. The problem is, that Flex displays the data of february in march together with the data of march. I have added a picture
to show the result. The second column of the grid is for february and the third for march.
Could anybody help me with this problem. Thanks in advance.

I think the problem could be the configuration of the datetimeaxis. The following method shows the parameter for the datetimeaxis:

Retain data in String Display untill new data is delivered in RS-232

I am using Labview 8.6 on Windows XP OS and acquiring signal from RS-232 through COM1 port to which I have connected non NI instrument. My instrument sends data for flash of second and it displayed into String Indicator for flash of second. How to hold this data untill I get new data from instrument. I have tried to select "re-initialise to default value" and "make current value default" but none of them getting selected. I want data to be retained untill new data comes. I have enclosed VI as well as Picture file. Pl advice.

-Looks you are sending or running the while loop every 5ms, are you sure you want this fast? This is the reason the data comes in flash(i think 5ms)
-I use shift register to store something from previous iterations generally.
-You need to keep case structure to check when new data comes and when it does, replace the value in that string.
-else pass previous value to string.

Babylon window displays every time i start my computer it says strings.dat is missing or corrupted how can you get rid of this?

When i start my computer a window appears from Babylon and the message in the window is strings.dat is missing or corrupted.
it has a button to push that says ok but when clicked on with curser nothing happens i uninstalled all babylon down loads and this was left behind would just like to get this out of my computer.
can someone please help.

pretty much exactly what i just figured out how to do it ealrier today! its a bug*er!
i have posted a help request on a tech forum with logs etc incase there is any deeper infection, and will post any decent answer here. ok?
basics for ridding of the actual babylon searchbar is like this...
loading firefox, noticed that my google search bar wasnt google anymore and had ababylon icon instead!
ASLO the browser displayed a FAKE GOOGLE search page!
so i opened firefox, typed "about:config" in url bar and then you look just underneath the url bar, and you'll see another search bar.
type babylon into it. right click on all of the results, and click reset.
thats it now disabled totally for now.
next go to tools>addons and look down the list and click uninstall babylon...
bingo.
but its not over yet! .....
next go to start> search and type "babylon" (without the quotes) and see what comes up, mainly in programme files\mozzilla\search plugins
and in the macromedia folder. if you get a "cannot delete.." notice, then that just means you havnt closed firefox (wich is odd coz you've apparently uninstalled the bug*er), so close firefox, then delete. you should now get rid of them all.
it DOSNT show up on add/remove programmes, and it didnt show up on uninstall in advanced system care, though you may try the other uninstall button to the right , but you'll need to type in the "pathways" ( eg C:\my computer\programme files/etc).
i'm still not convinced that this is the end of it though.
from other forums i have noticed folk contacting AND phoning babylon and basaically being either abused or told they wont help.
it seems to be invisible to AVG (i have the premium one too!) though around the time i installed the xvid codecs i did get an avg notice warning of an infection found in my t-mobile modem (dongle) but it seemed to actually be the tmobile liveupdat.exe, so i left it as i am sure i would get even worse problems if a effed around with it. (ie no connection, (eventually)

Problem in displaying total no of pages in Smartform

Hello experts,
I have a problem while displaying total no of pages in Smartform.
When no of pages are more than 10 then in total no of pages , a * is shown till current page is 9, then after it is displaying correct no of pages.
I am using &sfsy-formpages& to get total no of pages.
Ex: Like if I have 12 pages to print then i am getting 1/, 2/, 3/* .......... 9/* then 10/12 , 11/12, 12/12.
Do i have to write some code for that ?? Please give your inputs to get the total no of pages.

Facing Problem in parsing a string to date

I was trying to change a string into date with date format ("EEEE,MMM,d,h:mm") but I always get the year as 1970.

Problem in displaying data.

Hi,
I am facing a problem in display of data for a particular employee. This is a HR report with 5 selection variables out of which 3 are mandatory and rest 3 like company code, Cost centre and Employee are optional.
when i run the report with company code and cost centre variable it shows me list of employees whose timesheet are missing in a particular time frame which misses out 1 employee and when i run the report with same variables but put in the employee it shows me the data of that employee which is assigned to same cost centre and company code. Its just that in first case i am using 2 diff optional variables and in 2nd i am using only 1 with rest of the variables same. This is so weired. For the first time i have encountered such issue. and if i run the report with company code and cost center and after getting the necessary output i select the filter value as that emplyees name i get the data for that employee.... I am unable to understand as to how where exactly is the problem?
i checked the master data of employees, cost centre and company code. Everything is working fine.
Kindly help to figure out the issue.

Please perform the consistency check for the cube in RSRV and confirm that all the dimensions in the cube are consistent. Sometimes, this happens, which generates such situation that some of records disappear in the result set if not mentioned in the selection screen.
Here as per your msg, if you mention the employee number, the record appears, that means you should also perform the consistency check for 0EMPLOYEE (if that is the infoobject for employee) master data.

I have installed new version of sqldeveloper and have discovered some problems with displaying user data types. The data that is described as VARCHAR2 are displayed with ‘???’.
The problem persist in table view, script output and exported files.
My type is described as follows:
