Change default creationPolicy for NavigatorContent to null. If null, NavigatorContent will check its parent Navigator's creationPolicy. If the parent Navigator's creationPolicy is "all", NavigatorContent will use "all" and create all of its children. Otherwise, NavigatorContent will use "none" as the creationPolicy.

APDivs are a thing of the past and is bad practice. You need a working knowledge of CSS to get a modern looking layout and to do justice to your design which looks great btw.
One out-of-the-box solution is to use Bootstrap - http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/index.html and use the pre-defined classes/ grids to layout your content.

We now preserve whitespace for all of the spark "text" tags at compile time (but not only-whitespace content if an alternate text attribute was specified).
QE notes: Please ensure that whitespace preservation continues to work, including for the scenarios mentioned in previous issues SDK-22601, SDK-23160, SDK-23972.

This bug figures out also when creating a custom spark ComboBox, then trying to programatically update the userProposedSelectedIndex property. The proposed selected index is selected, but does not apply the same skin as when mouse is on rollover or item is selected due to up and down keys.
The issue seems like updating the status of the item renderer to rollover or selected to get the same skin applied.

How to change default thresholds for some metrics of all targets.

Hi!
We have a lot of servers which have to work hard.
So, our OEM very often generates messages like these:
"EM Alert: Critical:dbsora90.tsb.kz - CPU Utilization is 99.95%, crossed warning (80) or critical (95) threshold."
"EM Alert: Critical:dbsora94.tsb.kz - Disk Device c8t60A9800043346C384C344A4A63516D6Ad0(ssd4) is 99.7% busy."
"EM Alert: Critical:dbsora94.tsb.kz - CPU Load (Run Queue Length averaged over 5 minutes) is 20.78, crossed warning (10) or critical (20) threshold."
I need to change default tresholds for mentioned metrics but I can't their defenition in SYSMAN.MGMT_*-tables or suitable settings in OEM GUI.
And I have no time to edit treshholds manually for each target. )

Modification of Metric Thresholds (as this is what you are referring to), should be done using the Metrics and Policy Settings link (to be found in the Target Home page).
Don't mess around with the SYSMAN tables!
Best thing to do here is to start using Monitoring Templates for this.

How to change default approval for ResourceAuthorizerApproval ?

Hi,
I'am new in OIM and I follow documentation where I found some predefined workflows. I'd like to use them.
Could you tell me, step by step, how to change default approval for ResourceAuthorizerApproval (only for my new defined resource).
I'm using OIM 11g and Design Console 11.1.1.3.0.2.0

Ok, I made new tamplate (copy of existing one), there I changed Template Level Approval Process and set allowed resources. It seems to be ok :)

Hi Jim,
yes after I imported my .cr2 raw files into new catalog it started to work. Windows 7 still does not recognize them but I can edit them as you said within the Lr5.6 and then export them into .psd or .dng files...as needed.
I bought Lr5 only because I got present - my new camera Cannon 70D and because my older Photoshop CS5.5 raw plugin does not recognize. cr2 files.

Whenever I import data, the default format for Boolean data types is "-1,0." I know how to subsequently change this format to "Yes/No," but I'd like to change the default
setting to "Yes/No." Is this possible?

I found you post the same question in other place and got the advice. I agree with Mr. Kees suggestion. The data type is a build-in default setting with Access, we can't change it. We may try the workaround via VBA to test.

Changed the default value for Slider by setting the value to 10 in the constructor. I changed NumericStepper?\226?\128?\153s implementation to match Slider. The problem with NumericStepper?\226?\128?\153s previous implementation was that it wasn?\226?\128?\153t calling Range?\226?\128?\153s maximum setter. Thus there was some important logic in Range.commitProperties that wasn?\226?\128?\153t called.

How to change default settings for a video generator?

I'm using a video generator (Lyric Media's Pan Zoom Pro) many times in the same project, and have to change the default settings for each new instance of the generator that I create. I'm wondering if there's any way to change the default settings for a generator (i.e., length of clip, individual slider and checkbox settings in the "controls" tab) so that each new instance automatically has my customized settings when I first open it.

That works for the all the controls/filter settings. The clip length still defaults to 10 seconds, but that's OK, since the main thing I was looking for was to change the clip's internal settings. Thanks for your help

The default is Preview, and you change it thus:
Select a pdf file, rightclick and select 'Get Info', in the pane that opens scroll down to the section marked 'Open With', select Preview and check the box to 'Change All'

Tim,
Right click on one of your MP3 files and select "get info". In the get info screen you can select the default program to open the file. Then select Change All.. to make it the default for all MP3s.

Change default setting for edit panel button.

In Elements 10 the default setting for the Edit panel button is expanded. I had it contracted which put it in the panel bin. That gave me a narrower panel bin and more editor workspace. After resetting the panels I am having trouble figuring out how to contract it back like it was. Does anyone know how to do this or have any ideas?

It seems that not having the (Full, Quick, and Guided) buttons in an (Edit panel) makes the panel bin wider. I had a narrow bin like in photodrawken's picture at one time. I can change the size of a panel by grabbing the line at the edge. But not the bin width. Was it a fluke that I had a Edit panel?
